Mina was having a fun time at the park, eating lunch and dancing in the fields. It was the weekend so she'd figured she'd relax a bit after all that training. While doing a handstand, she noticed a familiar face walking on a concrete path. He was tall, had two hair colors and a scar on his face.

"Todoroki!" She cried out as she flipped to her feet. She ran over to join him as he stopped walking.

"Oh my gosh, hi!" Said Mina happily.

"Hello." Said Shoto, calmly.

"What are you doing?" Asked Mina.

"Just taking a stroll." Said Shoto, walking again.

"Can I join?" Asked Mina.

"Sure," The boy said. "That sounds fine."

"Yay!" Cheered the girl as she stood beside him. They started walking together through the park, the sky a little cloudy but otherwise nice.

"So what did you think of the new swing they installed?" The pinkette asked.

Shoto shrugged. "I haven't used it, I don't really care about swings"

"I do!" Said Mina, jumping with joy. "The new swings are fun!"

"I'm glad." Shoto said with a little smile. If there was one thing he admired her for, it was her cheerfulness.

The two continued to talk to each other, not realizing the sky was getting darker.

"So then I said to them, 'Wow! That's pretty tear-ific of you!'" The girl finished her story with a laugh. Shoto lightly chuckled, thinking her tale was humorous.

"Ooh! Here's another story! So I-" Mina was interrupted by her and Shoto's phone ringing. On their screen pop an alert of an upcoming storm about to hit. They looked at each other with concerned looks before a rain drop falls on Mina's nose.

She wipes it off as more water falls from the sky.

"We should go." Shoto said as he started walking faster. Mina followed suit as the rain got heavier. Soon, the rain became so heavy they couldn't see more than two feet in front of them.

"I can't see!" Yelled Mina as she desperately tried to feel her way around.

"Grab my hand!" Shoto cried as he reach out to her. She grabs his arm tightly as they continued to run forward. Splashing against the wet ground, the two looked around for any shelter.

After three minutes, they find a public restroom a few feet away. They ran towards the restroom when a bolt of lightning hit a tree next to them. As the tree was about to fall on them, Shoto prepared to use his ice to stop it, but Mina used her acid veil to melt the tree before it hit them.

They started running again as the storm got worse. They made it and ran into the girls bathroom, not caring where they went as long as they got out of the rain. Shoto covered the entrance with ice to keep the storm out. Once he was done, he sat down by Mina and breathed a sigh of relief.

Turning to Mina, Shoto said to her, "Hey, thanks for the save. I appreciate it." Mina smiled back at him

"No problem, Todo! I've been working on my reflexes, and it seems to be paying off!" Suddenly, Mina started to shiver, being so cold and wet. Shoto was used to being a little cold but knew they both needed to get warm or else they'll freeze.

"Ashido," Shoto said. "we should take off some of our clothes."

Mina started to blush. "WHAT!?" She cried. "What are you implying!?"

"NO! Not that." Shoto said, blushing as well. "We should take off our clothes because they're wet."

"Ooooh okay, great idea!" Mina said, quickly recovering from her mistake. The two proceed to take off they're jackets, shoes and socks. Then, Shoto lights his left side on fire, feeling much better.

"Ahhh...That feels much better!" Mina said, scooting closer. Shoto noticed that while she did feel better, she was still a little cold. So without thinking he turns off his flames and hooks his left arm around her. She gasped, not expecting he'd do that, but after a few seconds she felt better.

"So warm...thanks Todo." she said, happily. She cuddles closer to Shoto, much to his embarrassment. However seeing her feel better made him happy. Suddenly, his stomach growls. Mina laughs and says, "Are you hungry?" Shoto nods slowly.

"Don't worry!" Mina cried "I got you covered!" Mina grabs her backpack and rummages around till she pulls out a box of snacks.

"I was having a picnic but I didn't finish everything and brought the rest with me. Good thing huh?" Mina opens the box to reveal an apple, some chips, some okra and a candy bar. Mina gives Shoto her chips while she snacked on okra.

"Mmmm! I love okra! It's so good!" Said Mina happily.

"I like these chips." Said Shoto as he pops another one in his mouth. Mina nods in agreement as she finishes her okra.

"Ooh!" Shouted Mina. "We should totally listen to some music!" Mina pulls out her out phone and taps a button.

"I can't use Spotifiy, but luckily I have some tunes downloaded just in case! So what do you want to listen to?"

"I like classical." Said Shoto.

"Really? I was hoping we could listen to something more dance-y, like j-pop!"

"I'm not a huge fan, I like quiet music you can listen to while you're doing homework."

"I like music I can dance to!"

"We're in a public restroom, there's not much space to dance."

"Oh right! I forgot!" Mina rubbed her head in embarrassment. "Alright then, classical it is! I have some pieces riggghhhtt...here! How do flutes sound?"

"Sounds good." The red/white haired boy said. Mina set it to full volume and a melody of soft flutes begins to play. The two share the candy bar as the wonderful melody played throughout the room. The rain outside added a nice instrumental to the music as the two kids listened in silence.

After a couple of minutes the rhythmic pattern of the rain made Mina sleepy as she rested her head on Shoto's shoulder and closed her eyes. Shoto was surprised at first but decided not to bother her as she looked so peaceful. Soon, he got tired too as he laid his head against the and fell asleep.

A couple hours later, the two heroes in training wake up to someone busting down the ice wall Shoto made. It was the battle hero: Gunhead. He looked to the two kids and ran over to them.

"Don't worry, you're safe now. I'll find a warm place for for you two." He picked them up and out into the rain. He used his body to shield the teenagers from the harsh weather as he approached an ambulance. He put the two inside and went out to look for more people. One ambulance ride later the two were hospitalized to see if they had any injuries.

Thankfully, the worst they had were some big bruises so they would be out tomorrow. While in their room, Mina turned to look at Shoto.

"Y'know, today was actually nice, minus the storm." Mina said. Shoto nodded in agreement. "Would you like to hang out again? I know a good restaurant we can eat at!"

"Yeah, I'd like that." Shoto said with a small smile. Mina cheered and hugged him. Shoto blushed a little and returned it. The two realized that good memories and friendships can be made, in any kind of weather.
