Disclaimer: I do not own anything! Neither Resident Evil, or the song! This is an AU, without Zombies, and set in a little modern age, because of the music I use. Oh and it will contain Incestfield tho'.
The cold air seemed nothing to her. As she was on her bike, nothing could matter, she only wanted tor ide, and delete all her negative thoughts. No where, was the place, where she planned to go. All she wanted was to escape, from reality. Sometimes wonderland seemed as a wonderful place to her. Everything changed in her, after that deadly day. And all she wants now, to rather die, than admit her feelings towards him.
It all started on a rainy day, when Claire wisited her high school friend, Kelly. They've did nothing extra, just sat, and listened to Kelly's current favourite rock band, and talked about school, when all of a sudden, Kelly invited some other friends over too. Claire knew most of them, but there was a strange man, who tried to act so brave. She felt a little scared. The only thing what calmed her, was the music, what Kelly played. Even though, she felt scared. She texted to her brother, that it's okay, she will stay at Kelly's place. Even thought, she wanted to tell him to come and get her now, or just to stay with her, during the time these crazy motorheads won't do any other crazy thing.
„Are ya' having fun?" A guy walked towards to Claire. „Ya' textin' to ya' boyfriend?" He asked.
„Maybe." Claire sighed. It's better to scare him, than to say that I only texted tom y brother. Duh. – Claire thought.
„Isn't he like this kind of music to come over and show who he is?" The guy laughed.
„What the heck are you talkin' about about?" Claire asked.
„What a crazy guy to let a beautiful woman hanging by herself." He stepped closer. Claire wasn't the type of an easy scare girl, but she was really disturbed by the guy's aura. She felt that he has nothing good, and clear in his mind tho'.
And then the door suddenly opened. By a big hit, like somebody was about to break in. But it was no other, than Claire's savior for the night, her brother, Chris.
„Who is he?" Some guys started to whisper around. „Why do you wanna break in like we use drugs, bro?" They asked him.
„Just an opening session." Chris laughed, then he walked to her sister. „Something wrong, you, man?" Chris asked the guy.
„Everythin' fine bro'." The guy sighed, then walked away from them.
„You are my saviour." Claire sighed in relief, as she pulled him for a hug. Then for the first time ever, she felt something getting hotter in the air. As her hear started to skip more beats, just by an ordinary hug, and her eyes started to shine more. It was, different.
„I saw Kelly's social media post's, and I saw these bunch of strange metalheads. I was a little worried, to be honest." Chris admitted.
„I could handle them, I guess." Claire laughed a little.
That was the time, when that special song started to play. Claire didn't notice, just a shortly after. Everything went for a little silence, until Kelly started to sing along to the song, inviting the other guys to sing. It was funny watch, because most of them didn't know the lyrics.
„You can sing if you wanna." Chris said.
„Don't you know this song, we could try to catch on it." Claire said.
„Just find me the lyrics then we could join." Chris said.
I feed like you taught me and selflessly swallow.
They've started to join to the parts. Claire's eyes started to even spark now, like she haw seen the most shiny star ont he sky, but indeed, she was only looking at Chris. And it all, slowly started to come together for her.
We coalesce in darkness, so selfishly hollow
They didn't step into the big crowd what Kelly brought together, they've stayed outside, behind the sofa, where the guy sat. Kelly couldn't notice how she felt something different, when she looked at them, how they've tryied to sing, together.
Examine the wreckage
It was a little slow part, but Claire already felt, that she's going to scream at the top of her lungs, when they get tot he last, loud part. She felt that, it needed to be done. Whenever her eyes met Chris's beautiful eyes, her heart all went silence, for a minute.
Writhing in tempo
Claire tryied to ask herself what could be happening now. Why does she feel now different, than any other time. She laid her eyes on him, and he did the same. He put away his phone, and focused on his sister. Both of their hearts went crazy, for the slow beat of the song.
Invisible anguish, casting a shadow
They've both stepped a little closer to eachother, and didn't stop until their heart felt the right closer. But it was almost in eachother's face. Claire blushed all the way. She couldn't stop her emotions. It was really close to the song ending, but like an ending brings a start, she felt that, this is not an ending. This is a start, for something really different.
And in the name of love
Everyone turned their heads slowly, and silently into the direction of the siblings. They've didn't notice anything, but everyone felt that new start, after the last part of the song started to play. And this was the time, when Claire learned from herself, from an absolute ordinary day, that her feelings towards Chris, totally changed into a bad way. And it will only kill everything, what she has build up.
It was almost two months ago. Claire couldn't forget it until the very day of today. She's not prud of herself for what she's doing today. Nothing extra happened during that two month, but she made a decision. That if she will feel the same towards Chris, in this year still, she will stand up, and willing to ruin everything, just to tell it to him. And this is how the bad railcoster has started for Claire.
