Anyway, I plan to write a prolouge to this (that's also why I didn't refer to Scott directly) to explain how he got here, and a few events after.
It's been over a year since Reimu received news of a strange guy coming to Gensokyo, and it seems trouble is brewing around him. There has been rumors that started a week ago about when someone walks into vicinity of him, a blue border obstructing their vision that last about a day appears. So Reimu wanted to get to the bottom of this.
"Now I need to find out where the heck this guy is, I should see it" she exclaimed.
After getting Marisa to steal the news paper, the guy was last sighted at the Misty Lake. After getting ready and checking the empty donation box, Reimu set off.
As she was going there, she reminded herself that she had to fight Cirno.
"Ah shit that anyoing little baka," she mumbled to herself, "why does she keep getting in my way I already beat her 3 times already, isn't that enough?"
Once Reimu got there, shure enough Cirno was there. She tried to sneak past her but Cirno noticed.
"Hey its you again, why don't I get revenge from last time?" Cirno acclaimed.
"You do know your gonna get smoked right? Anyway, let's get this over with quickly."
Cirno does her usual spell, with ice being flinged at Reimu, but due to the size it was easy to dodge. As she uses her spell card it becomes harder to see the ice, and it becomes a bit more dense. but after 10 minutes the firework show was over and Cirno was defeated.
Cirno, trying to get the last laugh, snarked "I can count higher then the donations you received!"
"What was that, ⑨,000?" Reimu replied.
"No, 1,2 3,4,..." Cirno counted as Reimu slipped away.
After that encounter with Cirno, Reimu went to the deepest part of the lake: the saunas. After going around the perimeter of it, she didn't feel or see anything.
"Either that rumor was complete bullshit or he's at the frozen one, he's not here. I guess I'll keep looking."
