I will be adding this to both of my stories. The end is different as it features ideas and head cannons for the stories I want to bounce off my readers.

Hello! Now, yes, I am aware that I haven't updated in a very long time. A month, I think? Two months? I don't know. I am sad to say that this is just an update, not a chapter.

I have two reasons for not updating in a while. The first is way simpler than the second - school. Because of online learning I struggled a lot with school and maintaining schedules. Now, it's summer, and school is out, and while I am probably going to still struggle with schedules, I am trying. School took a lot of energy and I was a little behind, so now that school is over for the year I should be able to focus on writing.

However, that being said, I do have writers block for both of my stories right now (Faded Gods and The Oracle's Call) and while I have part of the next chapters written they are no where near done.

Hey, this is a friendly reminder that updates will no longer be weekly.

In my story Faded Gods I have places that I think are lacking in detail or which I think could have been written better. Sometimes I think back and wonder if something makes sense. I make up details to appease my mind.

For instance: How did Sammy know they were non-binary? Why is their name so correspondent to canon?

In my mind, Sammy loves to read and hear about stories. When they found a library that was mostly standing, they and Emily camped out there for a while and they read (well, mostly Sammy) as many books as they could to occupy themselves. Sammy found the term non-binary in a book, researched it to the best of their ability, and started using they/them pronouns with Emily. They chose the name Sammy because, remembering all the stories Hazel and Frank used to tell, they thought it suited them.

I hope that makes sense.

Now, currently, I am trying to figure out my sexuality (And gender identity, but I'm gonna leave that out of this at the moment). The terms that have stuck out to me the most is Asexual and Aromantic. I am currently wrestling with having Jennifer be one or both of those. I don't know though, tell me what you think.
