Summary: Tsuna is confronted with the consequences of Future Decimo's choices. Will it confirm his own choices? A sequel of 'Contemplation of a Choice".

Hi everybody, this is chapter 19 of this story. I hope you like this chapter.

"Once you realize you deserve a bright future, letting go of your dark past is the best choice you will ever make."

Roy T. Bennett (The Light in the Heart)

Previous Chapter. Careless Trust.

Byakuran chuckle inappropriately. "Why Tsunayoshi-kun? I did not know that the Vongola could be so rude as to kick out their guests."

The stare softened but also became more urgent. Which was just Tsunayoshi giving him an unimpressed look.

Byakuran raised his eyebrow in curiosity. Whoever these visitors are either dangerous or in danger to Vongola.

Which was Tsunayoshi trying to protect, he wondered.

"Will you help me?" Tsunayoshi asked.

Byakuran grinned predatorily. "Of course."

How ironic. To think that Tsunayoshi trusts him more than the Vongola. Tsunayoshi is very careless with who he trusted. Tsunayoshi is lucky that Byakuran likes him.

Chapter 19. Flames Bond.

After the exhausting meeting with Byakuran, Tsuna showed Byakuran to the infirmary where the children stayed. Right now they stood outside the infirmary while observing the children.

When Tsuna saw the children, he could not help but stare at them. With his memories of Yuri, now he could finally see her in each of their future children.

While Suiren has an identical face to him, he could still see small traces of Yuri in her. But, unlike her, it was almost painful for him to look at Suzuran. Because Suzuran has Yuri's eyes.

"They are your future children."

Tsuna looked at the man beside him and saw Byakuran looking at the children knowingly. Then, Byakuran looked at him curiously. Tsuna did not give him an answer because it was obvious.

"They are also my sister's children."

Byakuran looked at the children again thoughtfully. Tsuna still kept his silence.

"Do you know what that means?" Byakuran raised his eyebrows at him.

Tsuna knew what Byakuran was going to say and he still dreaded it.

"They are my niece and nephew!" Byakuran said gleefully.

Tsuna sighed and entered the infirmary. The children looked at him immediately. Suzuran looked at him happily, while Suiren was wary of him. Meanwhile, Corvo only looked at him blankly.

"Hello, Children." He greeted them with a smile.

Only Suzuran greeted him back.

"Suzuran and Corvo, why don't you go outside for a while." Tsuna made it clear that it was not a suggestion.

"But…" Suzuran said hesitantly.

Byakuran instantly went to Suzuran's side.

"Don't worry Suzu-chan. Why don't you play with Oji-chan." Byakuran with a cheerful face.

"What? Who are you?"

Suzuran exclaimed in surprise while Byakuran picked him up and took him outside. Tsuna ignored their antic and looked at Corvo pointedly. Corvo sighed and walked outside.

That left Tsuna and Suiren alone in the infirmary. Since Reborn most likely also went outside to keep an eye on Suzuran and Corvo, it was not hard for Reborn to see that Tsuna wanted to talk in private with Suiren.

"How are you, Suiren." Tsuna began the conversation.

"I've been better." She replied snidely.

Tsuna walked closer to her bed and sat on a chair beside it.

"As you know we need to talk." Tsuna said firmly.

She only shrugged at that.

Tsuna decided to ignore her attitude and just get to the point.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Define 'this'" She said pointedly.

Tsuna sighed in exasperation. "First of all, why are you outside of your proper time?"

Suiren frowned at him. Although Tsuna had been avoiding looking at her orange eyes, his eyes could not help but look at her hair instead.

The first time they met, her hair was pink. Then, after the battle, it became white from the side effect of losing Flames. And after Suzanne gave her Flames the hair became brownish orange.

It was fascinating. Tsuna felt drawn to her. Even after avoiding her eyes, it was her hair that drawn him instead.

Tsuna was certain that there was something different about Suiren that caused it.

"Are you going to answer me or not Suiren?" Tsuna asked when Suiren did not break her silence.

"Why should I answer you?" Suiren said petulantly.

Tsuna sighed tiredly. "Fine, let's skip that question for now."

Tsuna looked at Suiren thoughtfully. "Secondly, why are you trying to die?"

Suiren bit her lip and lowered her head.

"Can you answer that?" Tsuna stated her carefully.

"No." She said resolutely.

"Fine." Tsuna sharpened his sense. "Then, do you why I felt drawn to you?"

Suiren turned to him in surprise and looked at him with widened eyes.

"That…?" She said in confusion hesitantly.

Tsuna tilted his head curiously. "I take it that you don't know."

"No..." Unlike before, Suiren said that doubtfully.

Tsuna observed her behaviour. She looked like she was figuring something out and coming to a realization.

"Do you suspect that your father also felt the same as me?" Tsuna guessed.

With the surprised look that Suiren gave him, Tsuna must have guessed right.

Tsuna looked right at her eyes. Then, gradually, he noticed a feeling of possessiveness began to grow the longer he look at Suiren.

'That is my child.' 'I have to keep her near me.' 'My child!' 'No one allows taking my child away!' 'My child should not need anyone else but me.' 'I have to keep my child safe.' 'My precious child!' 'That child is mine.'

"Sawada-san!" Suiren exclaimed.

Tsuna blinked and looked away from her immediately.

It was overwhelming.

"Do you know what's going on, Suiren?" Tsuna asked thoughtfully.

"I don't know." She answered in bafflement. "What's exactly happened?"

"We have a Flames bond." Tsuna divulged to her. "I have a feeling of protectiveness and possessiveness towards you. It's like a bond between a Sky and Guardian but a lot stronger than that."

Suiren looked at him in bewilderment. She bit her lip in contemplation and seemed to come into a realization.

"We are going to send you back home." Tsuna said simply and snapped her out from her thought.

She frowned at him. "I can't go home."

Tsuna did not look surprised. He had plenty of time to think about what was possibly going on in the future.

"Think about it, Suiren." Tsuna advised her.

"About what?" Suiren scrunched her forehead.

"We have only known each other for a few months, yet our bond already very strong." He clued her in. "Don't you think that the bond with your father is even stronger than this?"

Suiren looked at him while forcibly calming herself.

Tsuna looked away from her. "If your father loss you, he might go insane."

"But…" He could hear her voice trembling.

"That can't possibly happen." She exclaimed hotly.

Tsuna noticed her body trembling in restlessness.

"He is supposed to be fine without me." She said with a sob.

Tsuna would have tried to comfort her, but he did not want to make their bond stronger. It would be even harder to let her go then.

Though his instinct was going haywire because of it.

"Do you understand now, Suiren?" Tsuna informed her calmly. "You need to go home."

"How could I miscalculate this?" Suiren muttered in resignation. "I should have noticed this sooner."
