Peter smiled after he flew near Captain Hook's window. His eyes were on the small cake that Smee carried. He heard Smee while the latter wished Captain Hook a happy birthday. Peter began to tap the corner of his mouth. One easy prank. Steal the cake.
Peter heard Captain Hook.
''I'm not in the mood for any cake!''
Smee frowned. ''Sir, it's your birthday.''
''I remember what day it is. I'm going to eat a bit of stew.'' Captain Hook left with Smee.
After Peter continued to smile, he flew into Captain Hook's bedroom. He lifted the platter that the cake was on. Steal it and then?
Peter frowned. Then? He wasn't exactly sure.
Peter's eyes were wide the minute Smee and Captain Hook appeared.
There were matching scowls.
''Cake thief! You put the cake down this instant!'' Smee snapped.
Peter smiled and shrugged before he flew above the pirates. ''If you say so,'' he said. Peter dropped the cake and watched as it landed on Captain Hook's head. He watched while Captain Hook's eyes widened for a moment.
Worry formed in Smee's eyes as Captain Hook glowered and trembled.
''You ordered me to put the cake down,'' Peter said to Smee.
Frowning, Smee nodded. ''True,'' he muttered.
Peter flew from Smee and Captain Hook as his smile remained. He then wondered if Wendy baked a cake recently. He remembered her baking treats occasionally. Peter couldn't wait to find out.
