Hi everybody, this is chapter 20 of this story. I hope you like this chapter.

"Some mistakes... Just have greater consequences than others. But you don't have to let the result of one mistake be the thing that defines you."

Jojo Moyes (Me Before You (Me Before You, #1))

Previous Chapter. Flame Bond.

Tsuna looked away from her. "If your father loss you, he might go insane."

"But…" He could hear her voice trembling.

"That can't possibly happen." She exclaimed hotly.

Tsuna noticed her body trembling in restlessness.

"He is supposed to be fine without me." She said with a sob.

Tsuna would have tried to comfort her, but he did not want to make their bond stronger. It would be even harder to let her go then.

Though his instinct was going haywire because of it.

"Do you understand now, Suiren?" Tsuna informed her calmly. "You need to go home."

"How could I miscalculate this?" Suiren muttered in resignation. "I should have noticed this sooner."

Chapter 20. Sending Away.

Tsuna left Suiren sobbing in the infirmary, even though his instinct demanded him to comfort her.

It was difficult, but Tsuna resolved to ignore her. Since then, he had been busying himself with the preparation to return the children to their proper time.

Tsuna decided to call Shouichi for help. Considering that Shouichi seemed to have become an expert in time travelling, due to his experience. Not that he was happy with it.

Even until now, Shouichi still has the aspiration to be a Musician. Despite how many times Spanner had conned him into doing a joined project.

Tsuna had sent Takeshi to their private lab to discuss the matter. While, Tsuna expect that Shouichi will be reluctant to get involved with another time travelling fiasco, due to his previous trauma, Tsuna was sure that Shouichi will agree to help eventually. Of course, Tsuna compensated both Shouichi and Spanner later.

Tsuna purposely did not ask Vongola technicians for help, because he did not want the Vongola to get involved. While Tsuna did not mind Giannini, he also knows that Giannini is loyal to Vongola not to him.

During that time, Tsuna tried not to think about Suiren and Suzuran. Instead, he turned his thought to Suzanne, the current version of Byakka. Even though he already asked Byakuran about her, he still had not to ask Byakuran to meet her yet. Because after everything, he still did not dare to face her.

He would meet her after the children were returned to their proper time. Tsuna told himself that despite knowing he only prolonging the prospect of seeing her again.

While Tsuna tried not to think about the children, he knows that he going to miss both of them.

In his bedroom, Tsuna was sitting on his bed, contemplating a lot of things. Kanna, in her anaconda form, was on a chair looking at him with a conflicted look.

"Everything will move forward." Tsuna sighed tiredly.

"Are you saying that you will send the children away soon?" Kanna said.

"Yes." Tsuna said morosely.

"You are not happy." Kanna stated.

"I am not." Tsuna replied shortly.

"I see." Kanna said.

An uncomfortable silence settled between them.

Tsuna sighed. "You know, I don't want to ask what happened."

"I know." Kanna nodded.

"I might have kept the children here if I know even more. And, even though I dislike it, but the children need to go home." Tsuna explained.

"I understand, Young Decimo." Kanna said.

"Then, will you stop hiding, Kanna-san?"

Kanna's eyes widened. "I don't… I…"

She looked down in contemplation.

"Even since you came out from the box, you haven't let the children seen you even once." Tsuna said accusingly. "Are you going to continue hiding?"

Kanna sighed tiredly. "I don't know yet, but it was something I need to do."

"I am not going to tell you what to do, Kanna-san." Tsuna told her softly. "I had my fair share of hiding from something too. I have learned that hiding is not a permanent solution. So, I hope you can find a better solution for your problem too."

"I hope so." Kanna said wistfully.

The next time Tsuna talked to the children was before he sent them back to their time.

It was not like the children were unaware of what he was doing, but he had not talked to them during the preparation.

Suiren understand why he avoided them, but Suzuran did not. Expectedly, Suzuran was not happy with him.

They were still staying in the infirmary to monitor their condition.

"I am sure you know why I am here." Tsuna began.

Suiren was not looking at him, which was expected. While Suzuran looked down with a conflicted look.

"It was not like I dislike you staying here. But, we both know that you need to return to your time." Tsuna explained.

"Is that so?" Suzuran said doubtfully.

"Yes, it is." Tsuna said firmly.

The children stayed in silence. And the atmosphere became tense.

Tsuna looked at them with a complicated look and eventually looked resigned. He walked first to Suiren.

Suiren blinked when he reached her bed, but kept her silent. Tsuna reached out to her head and patted her slowly. While she was distracted by that, Tsuna moved closer to her and kissed her forehead.

Suiren gasped softly and looked at him in surprise. Tsuna gave her a small smile.

Then, Tsuna went to Suzuran's bed.

Suzuran looked up when he noticed Tsuna was standing beside his bed. Suzuran looked at him with a questioning look.

Tsuna patted his head and kissed his forehead.

"I am happy that I get to meet you two," Tsuna said. "I will always miss both of you."

Tsuna looked at both of them meaningfully. He saw Suiren bit her lip and saw tears formed in Suzuran's eyes.

And then, Tsuna left the infirmary because he might keep them here if he stayed with them any longer. Afterwards, he went to his private office to hide away his tears from everyone else.

Takeshi stood beside the future children of his boss and along with Corvo. He was going to take them to Shouichi and Spanner private's lab.

The children were quiet and sombre. Takeshi imagined they were quite upset that Tsuna did not come to send them off.

Takeshi also knows that Tsuna was also upset with himself, but it was for the best. The children also seemed to accept that and did not fuss over it.

After they reached the lab, the children became even tenser. Takeshi reassured them as best as he could. And, after a lot of security measures, they finally entered the lab.

They were greeted by Spanner.

"This way, Takeshi-san."

Spanner led the way without wasting time talking. Until they went into a room with a strange-looking machine that looked a bit familiar.

Shouichi was standing near the machine while looking at it with a critical look. He was so focused on it that he did not seem to notice them.

"Shouichi, they are here." Spanner said bluntly.

Shouichi jumped in surprised.

He turned to them with a startled look. "Oh, you are here."

"I hope you are doing well, Shouichi." Takeshi greeted him.

Shouichi laughed nervously. "Yeah, as well as I can be."

"You know, Tsuna appreciates you doing this for him. He would not bother you unless it was important." Takeshi stated clearly.

Shouichi sighed tiredly. "Yeah, I know."

"So, should we start right away?" Spanner cut them off.

"Oh, sure." Takeshi said. "Corvo, Suzuran why don't you both go with Spanner? I need to talk to Suiren for a bit."

The boys said their acceptance and went with Spanner who began explaining what they were going to do.

Takeshi took something from his pocket and showed it to Suiren. She looked at it curiously.

"That's Kanna's box weapon." Suiren stated in certainty.

"Yeah, Tsuna told me to give this to you." Takeshi elaborated.

Suiren took it and hugged it to her chest.

"Come on, let's go." Takeshi led Suiren to the boys.

"Listen, Kids, be careful and be safe, okay?" Takeshi told the children.

The children nodded seriously.

Then, Takeshi watched them being ushered inside the machine. After a while, the machine lighted up and the children vanished.
