Summary: Natsu was kidnapped by a dark guild few days after Erza was declared to be the 7th guild master of Fairy tail. Three weeks after Natsu got kidnapped, Zeref, who heard what happen to Natsu, pass by a castle where he heard Natsu screams. The dark mage saved him, but the fairy tail mages arrive when he healed Nastu and both of them revealed something that the other mages never accepted for few years.

The said princess glance at her pet before looking back at us and raised her hand, which made Aoi flew and then blue flames began to surround him and everything was white before revealing…)

(And the next seen was a two cliffs facing each other, strong winds blowing. On each cliff stood the Fairytail mages and the Alvarez rulers and shields. The Fairytail mages are standing in line, frowning, while their enemies were smirking at them, except from the princes and princesses who are smiling, the smiles however are cold and give them shivers. However, it was only Gray who had his eyes widen slowly upon making eye contact with the Heiress, who was smiling gently at him. Thunder flashes in the background, followed by a white flash.)

Wiping a glass water with a towel, Mirajane Strauss, glance up at the Second Grand Master of fairy tail, Makarov Dreyar, who seems to be restless as he keeps on glancing at the guild door, and she's not the only who notice it as the First Grand Master, Mavis Vermilion, who was sitting beside Makarov, asked.
"Is there something wrong, Second Grand Master?" At that question, Makarov glance at them before glancing at the door and jump down from his seat.
"Nothing. Nothing is wrong." He answered before heading towards the door, while the two females watch him go.
"Is there something wrong with gramps?" Gray asked, walking towards the bar where Mirajane and Mavis, with Erza and Lucy, while watching their Second Grand Master walk away.
"We're not sure." Mavis started. "He's been acting like this after receiving a letter few days ago but… he won't tell me or Mira why." She finished while the mages hums in thought and filled with concern.
(Outside the Guild)
Meanwhile, the Akabanes' are found standing outside the guild. Natsu, Wendy and the rest of their siblings never saw the final look of their former guild as they were abandoned and they remove themselves as a member of Fairy Tail before it was finish. It looks the same as it was after Natsu and her former team came back from the tower of heaven. A three floor building, and retaining its pyramid shape, surrounding the guild is a fence composed of stone over-topped by decorated railing, with some pillars over-topped by torches on its length and an open gate giving access to the guild. In front of the building, inside the fence, is the so-called "open air cafe", containing a little over two dozen tables, each complete with a pair of benches at its sides, and with some of them bearing striped beach umbrellas. There is also a small Souvenir Shop to the left of the entrance, composed of bricks and sporting a wood counter, Kira, also known as Natsu, look at the souvenir shop, which is run by Max Alors. They also notice that there are plenty of people eating at the café.
"Max Alors runs the souvenir shop?" Yuki, also known as Wendy, asked, looking at her big sister, who was looking at her as well.
"He runs the shop before, it won't be a surprise if he is still in charge of the shop." She whispered, making sure Yuki and Kuro, real identity Zeref Dragneel, are the only people to hear it. Kuro glance around with his sharp eyes before glancing behind him as he felt a presence heading towards them.
"We got company." He whispered, tightening the grip he had on Kira and Yuki's hand as he was in between them and they were holding each other hands the whole time, as the presence and shadow came closer but they pretend to be oblivious.
"Excuse me." The person behind them started, which made them to pretend to be shock and turn to look at the man that spoke to them. "Is there something I can help you with?" they asked. Kuro then pretends to be nervous as he place himself in front of the ladies, though he had to let go of Yuki's hand, who immediately grabs Kira's hand in return.
"Who are you?" he asked, though he definitely knew who the person is standing in front of them. Said person merely laughs, as they began to rub the back of their head sheepishly.
"Eh? You don't know me?" they asked, and luckily the Akabanes' had their hoods up, or else the person in front of them wouldn't appreciate being glared by Kuro, who, as an emperor, doesn't like to repeat themselves.
"I may not look like it." They started slowly as he receive no response from them. "But I'm the 5th Master of the strongest guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail, that very guild behind you! The name is Gildarts Clive!" Gildarts then gave them a smile, which seems force for some reason but they didn't bother to mention it. Kuro then lowered his hood, followed by Kira and Yuki, Gildarts have to double take their appearance, more specifically Kira's appearance as she bear some resemblance of his missing son figure, Natsu.
"My name is Akabane Kuro. This is my sibling and cousin, Akabane Yuki and Akabane Kira." Zeref stated as he gestured, at the females behind him respectively. The girls, nodded at the older man in front of them.
"Akabane? That's the first time I heard that name." Gildarts stated, looking at them.
"That's because we're new here. Our village was attack by black mages, we escaped but every single one of us were scattered, the three of us stick together though." Zeref explained, lying, while patting Wendy's head, who was acting as if she was scared at the mention of black mages. "We've been travelling for a long time and I don't want my sister and cousin to tire themselves out from travelling so much. So we decided to stay at the city that had mages that are able to protect us, and Magnolia is the best choice. We already registered ourselves at the city hall, and our touring ourselves around the city, when we found this guild. We couldn't help but be amaze at the size." Natsu, who was watching the entire time, had to bite her lips to stop herself from smiling as she saw veins starting to appear in her brother's hand as well as Zeref's expression that was slowly turning dark. The black mage never did like talking too much, unless it was needed.
"I see." They saw Gildart's frown in concerned, when the door to the guild open and revealed the Second Grand Master, Makarov. "Ah, Second Grand Master." Gildarts called out, which made them turn to look at the said Grand master, who stopped walking upon seeing them.
"Gildarts…" Makarov started slowly, looking at them. "Who are they?" He asked, gesturing towards the Akabane, which made the 5th master to walk towards him and whispered their story. It took a while but Makarov nodded, before smiling at them.
"I see… would you like to enter our guild? We can talk in my office." He told them, they all blink in confusion.
"What is there to talk about?" Wendy asked, Makarov smiled.
"I would like to know more about you and what happen to your village." He answered. Kuro then walk towards him.
"Alright…" He answered, Wendy and Natsu had to pretend going against their brother's wish.
"Kuro-nii!" They both exclaimed, while former merely glance at them.
"It's fine. As long as he's the only we're going to talk with." Kuro then look back at them, Gildarts had a confuse look, but Makarov merely smiled.
"Of course." They then walk towards the guild, while the 5th master still had his confuse look as he walk behind them. Makarov pushed the door open and upon seeing the inside of the guild, the siblings couldn't help but sweat drop.
'They haven't change.' Natsu and Wendy thought, looking around with a pretend awe expression. While Zeref is doing his best to hide his dark aura at the mages in front of him. Gildarts and Makarov sighed as they saw the scene in front of them, it was only a few minutes when Makarov left the guild and his children are already fighting one another, playfully of course. Broken table and chairs, magic everywhere, Mira smiling as she dodge some things thrown in her way, Gray fighting with Elfman and Gajeel, Laxus, who is sitting at the balcony of the second floor, watch them nonchalantly.
"I apologize. They are always like this." Makarov stated, sighing once more. The Akabane's merely hum, when suddenly a mage was thrown in their way, more specifically Wendy's way. Natsu saw this and without thinking she let go of Zeref's hand and tackled their sibling, and while Zeref saw this, he was a bit slow on reacting as he was trying to compose himself and not accidentally kill the fairies that hurt his family's feelings years ago.
"Yuki!" Natsu shouted when she was tackling her sibling, avoiding the mage that was being thrown towards her which made the said mage to hit the wall, this of course made the fairy tail mages to pause and look at the front door, and saw their masters, and three unfamiliar faces, two females and one male. They saw the pink haired female with blue eyes, fussing over the other female with black hair and blue eyes, while the male was standing in front of them and seems to be glaring at them.
"I'm fine, really." Zeref heard Wendy mumble to Natsu but that doesn't mean he would stop from glaring at the fairies. Everyone was silent, when Erza when towards them, and this made Natsu and Wendy to flinch because the last time Erza walk towards them was when she attack them with her magic.
"I apologize, is she alright?" She asked looking at Wendy. Natsu inhaled deeply and grabs Zeref's hand, which made him look at her. When he saw the look in her eyes, he knew that it was merely an act.
"Kuro-nii…. I… don't want here anymore…. Let's go home…." She mumbled, Wendy then tugs his pants and nodded at him. The fairies are confuse at their action after all, they haven't heard what Natsu said, except for the remaining dragon slayers, while the Second Grand Master and 5th master had their eyes narrowed. Zeref opened his mouth to answer when Makarov said.
"Don't worry. No one will harm you here. I'm sure they will behave." At that, Makarov glared at his children, silently commanding to behave or there will be consequences.
"NO!" Wendy shouted, which made them look at her.
"Yuki-san?" Gildarts called out, confuse.
"They were wearing armors…. They were wearing armors… and they hurt…. Kira-nee… Kira-nee…" Wendy sobs, this of course made them look at the person she called 'Kira-nee' and notice that she was trembling and pale. Zeref immediately grabs his siblings and hug them before looking at Makarov.
"Sumimasen… is there any… any private room here?" He asked, Makarov nodded and gesture for them to follow. Although it may look hard, Zeref had manage to carry his siblings away from their audience and into the office of their Second Grand Master. Once inside, Makarov locked the door, before casting a spell to make sure no one is eavesdropping and so that Mavis won't be able to enter the room.
"I apologize, I never expect for them to be so rowdy." Makarov stated once they were cleared. He turn around and saw the Akabanes' family standing straight. Not the image he saw outside.
"Hmm… aren't you something for trusting people you don't know." Zeref stated, while smirking. This made Makarov to merely smile at them as he headed towards his table.
"Actually… it's not hard to find out who you're really are, Zeref." He declared, Zeref merely smirks and waves his hand, as sign for Natsu to at least create an illusion of their true appearance, so that they don't need to remove their fake appearance. Makarov watch them careful and smiled in delight upon seeing two of his children, well… former children, standing in front of him all well and happy…
"You've grown so well… Natsu… Wendy…" Makarov stated, Natsu merely bowed at him, not smiling while Wendy did smile.
"Zeref-nii-sama…" Natsu started, but Zeref merely raise his hand, already knowing that she won't talk to Makarov.
"Natsu?" Makarov called softly, but Natsu merely walk towards the window and look at the outside.
"I apologize." Wendy bowed. "As Heiress to the throne, Natsu-nee-sama is always thinking of something to make sure that nothing happens to the Alvarez, even with the Emperor still alive." She lied and nearly burst out laughing when Makarov seems to froze.
"Heiress?!" he shouted.
"As my direct blood relative, Natsu is the perfect heiress or heir to the throne should anything shall happen to me. Wendy will be Natsu's heiress should anything happen to the both of us." Zeref explained, while looking at his siblings. Zeref and Wendy knew she wasn't thinking about the empire, she was trying to compose herself. They both knew it was time to see if the fairies change, but they are not here just for the fairy tail but they are here for the citizen of Ishgar. Did the citizens change? Were the guardians speaking the truth? They need to know. But they also know that it was time to defeat Acnologia. However, the main reason why Natsu avoided to talk to Makarov and trying to compose herself, was due to the fact that her fear against her former friends were still in here, and the fact that they throw a mage towards Wendy, accidentally or not, triggered Natsu's fear. She was used to how the mages in Alvarez treated her that she had forgotten how it was back in her fairy tails days. No… She didn't forgot, she knew that they were going to act like that, she only wasn't expecting to have something, or someone, to be thrown towards them the moment they enter.
'Even unconsciously… they reject us huh?' Natsu thought before tuning in at the conversation behind her.
"What do you mean 'if something bad will happen to you'?" Makarov asked, as far as he knew he was cursed, the same with their first grand master. "You're curse… are you not?" When Makarov merely received a smirk in response, he couldn't help but his eyes to widen.
"We found a… cure…" Zeref grinned, liking how shock the old man is. Natsu merely look at them from the corner of her eyes before moving away from the window.
"It looks like we have flies near the door." She commented, Wendy and Zeref chuckled. Makarov sighed as he heard something shifts behind his door.
"Looks like we've stayed too much." Wendy commented looking at the said door, Natsu merely waved her hand and the illusion disappeared, revealing Kuro, Kira and Yuki. Makarov looks at them disappointed, he wants to talk more with them, especially to Natsu, who didn't even try talking to him.
'When she said Sayanora years ago… does that also means that she won't to me as well?' He thought, looking at them with longing. Natsu saw the look and internally sighed in defeat before giving him a small smile.
"You haven't change after all those years," She commented, turning her back towards him. "Even though you aged, you haven't change." She murmured and went towards Zeref who was looking at Makarov, who's trying to stop his tears.
"Also… please pretend that you're suspicious of us." Zeref stated, this made Makarov to give him a confuse expression. "Remember one of my condition 'should an Alvarethian, be it people, spriggan or the emperor went to Ishgar, you will stay out of their business.' Now, it's not every day that you will have new citizens arriving here, and your mages might find it suspicious that you trusted us immediately even without knowing us, and will try to spy on us or stalk us and that is immediately butting in what we were doing… I want you to at least have one mage, perhaps Gildarts if you trust him enough that is, to follow us and probably asked us questions and that will make their suspiciousness go away as they trusted their master's words."
"What is your business here?" Makarov asked, narrowing his eyes, Zeref merely gave him a smirk.
"Be careful on what your asking, because it looks like your trying to break my condition, Makarov." His eyes glinted, while Makarov merely frowned at him before his attention went towards his former children.
"Are you ready to go home, Yuki?" Natsu asked, kneeling in front of Wendy who gave her a smile and a nod.
"Well then…" Zeref started before grabbing his siblings hand and let Wendy open the door, upon opening the said door however something fell down and they merely blink at the sight of tangled bodies of the mages that were eaves dropping.
"What are you guys doing?" Makarov asked, looking at them with a disapproving glare, the eavesdropping mages were Erza, Lucy, Gray, Gildarts and Mavis, though the latter is unseen from their guest's eyes, the other mages knew she was there. Makarov sighed in defeat, Wendy stood behind Zeref as he glared at the mages, while Natsu merely look at the floor, not even giving them a glance. Gildarts gave them a sheepish smile before standing up, helping the girls while doing so. The 5th master cleared his throat before looking at the pink haired girl.
"Are you alright, Kira-san?" He asked, Natsu merely nodded while tightening her grips on Zeref's hand, this of course didn't went unnoticed to the mages that were watching them.
"If you'll excuse us, we need to go." Zeref stated, this made them blink and move out of the way, Zeref merely nodded at them as a thanks and began to leave the room, dragging his siblings with him.
"Master?" Erza asked, while Makarov merely narrowed his eyes.
'I will play your game then, Zeref.' He thought before looking at the 5th master of fairy tail.
"Gildarts." He called which immediately made the said mage to look at him. "I want you to go with them, and asked more about them, they look suspicious." He ordered and this made Gildarts to narrow his eyes in suspicions.
"Understood." He immediately agreed without question, as he was also suspicious about them but he didn't have the guts to asked more about them, because whenever he looked at Kira, he would be reminded with Natsu and his heart still had the hole that only Natsu could fill. He immediately went and leave the guild running towards the Akabanes', who were few feet away from him.
"Wait!" Gildarts shouted, which made them pause and look at him.
"Is there something wrong?" Kuro asked, looking at the man, who once more gave them a sheepish smile.
"Well… if you don't mind, can I give you a tour?" He asked. "Also… I want to know more about the black mages that went and attack your village." He looked at them seriously as Kuro and Yuki look at each other before looking at Kira.
"Kira…" Zeref started slowly, which made Natsu to look at him. "Are you okay with a mage giving us a tour?" He finished, Gildarts narrowed his eyes in confusion.
'Kuro is the eldest our of the three of them. So why would he asked his cousin?' He thought.
"Don't worry… I won't let you leave my sight." Zeref added and upon seeing Natsu nodding, he gave a small smile and looks back at the 5th master.
"Alright." With that, the four of them begin to walk, before Wendy and Natsu walks away from them and seems to be looking around, while Zeref walk behind them and Gildarts right beside him.
"I'm sorry about how my cousin reacted earlier." Kuro started, which made Gildarts to look at him.
"Something happen to her?" He guessed and Kuro nodded, clenching his fist and answered.
"She was raped." He gritted out, Gildarts blink in shock at the anger he was releasing. This time however, Zeref is not pretending, even if many years passed, he is still pissed off from those mages who defiled his dearest sibling, Natsu's appearance when he rescued her is still fresh in his mind and he won't hesitate killing people who would try to do it again. Even if those people were someone he knew, Natsu is more important. Natsu is his sanity.
"We got separated when we were running away, it was true we stick together but that was only after we found her, and when we did... they were already raping her..." He continued and Gildarts looks at the girls in front of them and notice some signs of rape as he saw how Kira acted.
"What happen to those mages?" He asked, Kuro glance at him.
"I killed them." He answered. "I saw red, and the next thing I know was that I was stabbing all of them with a knife that I use for hunting. We immediately left before their friends manage to found us."
"You're..." Gildarts started slowly. "You're so calm about this..."
"I'm willing to do anything for them... to make sure they are safe... even if it means to kill." At that Gildarts gulp upon receiving a warning glare and watch as Kuro walk towards his family.
'That man... is dangerous...' He thought before following after them.
(An hour later)
Gildarts sighed tiredly as he sat down at a bench that is found near the center of the Magnolia South Gate Park, and watch as Kuro and Yuki played with the dog they saw somewhere at the street. He glance at his left and saw Kira sitting near the edge and was looking fondly at her family. Gildarts inhaled before leaning forward and put his elbows on his knees and look at Kira, who blinks before looking at him.
"Is... there..." She started to asked, before looking back at her trembling hands. Gildarts look at her hands as well before exhaling deeply.
"So... what do you think of this city?" He asked, smiling gently at the girl, who flinched when he spoke.
"It's... fine..." She whispered, and Gildarts made a concerned frown.
"You don't have to be afraid of me you know..." He stated, when he receives a nod he waited for her answer.
"I know... still..." She didn't finish and they were silence once more.
"You know... you remind me of someone." The 5th guild master stated, which made Kira to glance at him. "He had the same hair as you, Pink hair but it was spiky, got the brightest olive eyes there is... and he was the light of the guild. No matter what happen... he always protect the guild, even sacrificing himself just to do so... He always gave us a beautiful smile and makes us laugh even when we're down. He always went against all odds that is being thrown in our way." Natsu blink, she had a feeling that she knew who he was talking about, but...
"...Name...?" She asked, and her breath hitched as she was given a sad smile.
"He's name is Natsu Dragneel." Gildarts answered.
"Where... is... he?" At that questions the latter gulped in response before looking back at the other Akabanes', who are playing fetch with their dog.
"He left us..." He answered softly. "We made a huge and big mistake... so he left us... my son figure... he left the guild..." Natsu's eyes widen upon seeing tears falling down from Gildart's eyes as he look up at the sky.
"Say... Natsu... wherever you are... I hope your happy... You're happy there right? Natsu..." He then bowed his head and covered his eyes as he bit his lip to stop himself from crying out loud. Natsu is always a sensitive topic, not only towards the 5th master, but to every one in the guild, excluding Juvia of course. Gildarts was always putting a mask on, especially in front of the fairy tail mages to make sure the people who went to rescue Natsu never feel anymore guilty than they should be, but whenever he's not in front of them, it would crack and he had no one to talk about it with. Seeing Kira, who resemble the dragon slayer, was too much for him that he had to cry in public. Meanwhile, Natsu remained silent as she watches Gildarts cry before turning to look at her siblings, who she knew heard everything. Giving Wendy a nod, the blue haired mage went and comforted the crying guild master, who is then reminded with their other missing guild member, Wendy. Zeref stood beside Natsu and grabs her shoulder as they watch the two interact. It took a while,m but few minutes later, Gildarts fell asleep and they have to sweat drop at that.
"He's very comfortable even when he's with people he didn't know..." Wendy commented as they made him lay down at the bench before covering him a blanket they bought from a stall not far from them. Zeref look at the guild master and Wendy before looking at Natsu, who was carrying and patting the dog.
"Are you okay?" He asked, Natsu turned and look at him.
"I don't know." She merely answered, and Zeref nodded.
"It's okay. We can talk more when we head home." He stated and reach his hand out, Natsu didn't hesitate and immediately grabs it, while the black haired mage did the same towards Wendy, who grabs it as well. "Let's go." They then walk away, leaving Gildarts sleeping on the bench, knowing that he can handle himself but just in case, Wendy cast a protecting magic around him as well as a note. Natsu hummed as she leaned at Zeref shoulder while he and Wendy talk softly.

As for Wendy… I have a plan for her in the future so unless that time comes, she would be always in the middle. As for Gray… well he did regret about doing that to his former friends… and because he misses their presence, I think it would be great if he saw something that reminded him of his family. I was thinking of a shrine like what Romeo and Asuka, but I rather not make it, because I would suddenly add Juvia, who was stalking Gray and found out about the shrine and destroy it.
