Summary: Natsu was kidnapped by a dark guild a few days after Erza was declared to be the 7th guild master of Fairy Tail. Three weeks after Natsu got kidnapped, Zeref, who heard what happen to Natsu, pass by a castle where he heard Natsu screams. The dark mage saved him, but the fairy tail mages arrive when he healed Nastu and both of them revealed something that the other mages never accepted for a few years.

(Next scene is Gray and Etherias passing each other in the market of Magnolia, before Etherias stopped and look back and watched Gray walk away from her with his shoulders slump, before she turned and walks away, and then it was Gray's turn to stop and watches her as she walked away, an images of Natsu flashes before his eyes before he closed them and smiles before walking away. (And the next scene was two cliffs facing each other, strong winds blowing. On each cliff stood the Fairytail mages and the Alvarez rulers and shields. The Fairy Tail mages are standing in line, frowning, while their enemies were smirking at them, except the princes and princesses who are smiling, the smiles, however, are cold and give them shivers. However, it was only Gray who had his eyes widen slowly upon making eye contact with the Heiress, who was smiling gently at him. Thunderflashes in the background, followed by a white flash.)

The moment the Natsu and her siblings arrived home, it slowly began to rain and by the time they settled in, it was a heavy downpour. Natsu sighed in relief as she watches the rain, though, in the back of her mind, she knew she should worry about Gildarts as they left him alone at the park but the man was no longer a family of Natsu and she only protects her own. Luckily enough for them, the land where Natsu and Zeref decided to build the house is near a mountaintop, which is enough to see the city, its people and houses. And with her keenness eyesight, Natsu saw a familiar boy, Gray Fullbuster, walking at the sidewalks while dodging the people who were rushing to head home from this unexpected rain.
"What are you looking at?" Zeref asked following Natsu's gaze and narrowed his eyes upon seeing a familiar ice mage.
"Wondering why he's walking in the middle of this heavy rain looking all dejected when I knew for sure that he should be happy," Natsu mumbled Zeref hummed before they felt a slight breeze around them. Sharing a look with one another they both turn and smiled as they saw Wendy using her magic to dry their newly bathed dog, Aoi flapping his wings to help to get the dog dry.
"Wendy…" Zeref sighed out fondly and went towards his third sibling who looks up and smiled at him. Natsu smiled as she watches them talk and her older brother helping Wendy trying to dry their new dog, who shakes his body to get rid of the remaining water dripping down from his fur, before laughing as Zeref exclaims rather loudly but fondly as the water touched him, and Aoi bursting his flames slightly to avoid getting wet, while Wendy gave him an apologetic smile. Smiling, Natsu glances back at the window and looks at the fairy tail guild found at the center of the city. She watches the guild a bit more before moving away from the window and walk towards her family to help them dry their dog.
'You won't hurt me or my family anymore.' She thought as she kneeled down and laughs as the dog began to lick her face. Outside the house, just before the border of the city, there are two hooded persons, a male, and a female, walking calmly through the rain. They were merely heading straight, not bothering to dodge the people around them as they already did it their selves. Up ahead, Gray was walking straight towards them, only he didn't bump into them, because when they were a few feet away he stops and looks at them.
"Your back…" He stated, looking at them. They sighed before the male one spoke.
"I think it's pretty obvious as we are standing right in front of you." Gray bit his lip before saying.
"Sarcasm doesn't suit you, Romeo." Romeo, son of Macao, lowered his hood revealing his face while smirking at Gray. Gray had to hold back a flinch seeing his cold black eyes looking at him.
"Really? I think it suits me pretty well, considering I'm speaking to the one who abandons my Idol." Gray winced before looking away from him, Romeo merely looks at him as he saw the guilty expression Gray had before looking down at his companion.
"Shall we go, Asuka?" Romeo asks, looking at Asuka, the daughter of Alzack and Bisca, nodded before Romeo lifts his hood up and covering his face once more, and then they both sides stepped away from Gray and began to head back to the guild.
'Can't you forgive me for what I've done all those years?' Gray thought before smiling sadly and continue his walk to head home. 'Heck… What am I thinking? Of course, you won't, I haven't even forgiven myself for what I've done.' Unknown to Gray, both Romeo and Asuka were looking at his back before they look at each other and walks away.
"I don't want to go home yet," Asuka mumbled Romeo sighed.
"I know, but we haven't visited them for three days. I want to check on them." Romeo answered which made Asuka to perked up and facepalm.
"Of course, I spent too much time thinking of avoiding the others that I nearly forgot about them." She sighed and they look ahead where they saw their guild.
"Can we skip going to the guild?" She asked, Romeo merely shakes his head which made her sigh once more and then they began to slowly head towards the guild, stalling more time.
(Fairy Tail Guild)
Mira was wiping the counter of her bar when the door open, which then made her look up and smiled upon seeing Romeo and Asuka entering the guild.
"Welcome back." Mira greeted while the other two merely glance at her before heading towards Makarov office to report their mission, Romeo glance around the guild while Asuka merely look at the direction where her parents are, who wanted nothing more than to run towards her but stop themselves, knowing that she doesn't want to be with them, not until they are home. Alzack and Bisca didn't know what to do with the situation with their daughter. They knew she wasn't angry with them, it was after all not their fault that Natsu and the others left, but they knew they couldn't anything about it. It was like Romeo all those years ago, Romeo, who stopped smiling and became so cold because his idol can no longer come home. But the difference is that Asuka talks to them when they are at their home, they didn't know why is that but from what they knew is, it was because Romeo, who also talks to his father when their home, told Asuka to speak to them.
"Everything will be okay, Bisca," Alzack stated grabbing his wife's hand as they watch Romeo and Asuka enter their grandmaster's office.
(Insides Makarov's Office)
"Welcome back, Romeo, Asuka." Makarov greeted looking at the papers he had on his desk, while Mavis is seen looking outside the window watching as the rain grew stronger and stronger with each passing minute.
"We're back," Romeo stated, looking at the Second Grandmaster of the guild before looking back at the First Grandmaster. "Is there something wrong, First Grandmaster?" Romeo asked, finally seeing Mavis troubled expression which made her look at them.
"Ah… no… everything is fine." She stated though it's obviously wasn't which made the two teens wonder what happen. Makarov, however, didn't even bother to look at Mavis, for he was busy on the paper laid down on his table which the two teens in front of him noticed.
"What is this?" Asuka asked, grabbing one of the papers and saw that it was a list of people residing in their city.
"List of people that are living in this city," Makarov mumbled as Romeo grab another paper.
"Why do you have them?" Romeo asked, this made the former 7th master to froze for a second, which was enough to gather Mavis and the other two teens attention before he resumed his work. They waited for his answer before he sighed and looks at them.
"We may have or may not receive a message from the emperor of Alvarez that his people are within our continent." He mumbled, half lying and a half telling the truth. He did, after all, receive a message only it was from Princess Wendy, not Emperor Zeref, also it was Natsu, Wendy, and Zeref that are in their continent, not Zeref's people. At his statement, the other three occupants of the room froze and look at him, with narrowed eyes before they look back at the list, with Mavis already floating behind the two teens.
"May have or may not? You're not sure that the message really came from the Alvarez?" Mavis asked as she watches the teens picks more sheet from the table after reading the ones they were holding.
"Unfortunately, no… during my meeting with the emperor 3 years ago, there were 5 royal family members that were present." He answered remembering the day of their treaty began. "One of them could send the message without the Emperor's knowledge but in any case, if we ever saw people we never saw or knew in this city, do not engage with them." He then looks at the two teens in front of him.
"I will announce this to the others tomorrow but you are not to tell anyone yet until I'm sure that the message really came from the Emperor." They nodded before Asuka saw a few names that were marked as New Residence in their city.
"Well, these people are new." She mumbled.
"Akabane Yuki, Akabane Kuro, Akabane Kira." Mavis list down, not even looking at the list which made Romeo and Asuka look at her. "They came here a few hours before you arrived. Makarov-san seems to be suspicious of them that he had Gildarts follow them as a guide."
"The letter I received from the Alvarez arrived an hour before I saw them. I immediately suspected them and had Gildarts to follow and give them a tour while getting information from them, but I seem to forget about Gildarts emotional state." He continued.
"Did something happen?" Asuka asked.
"More or less. Gildarts is currently in the infirmary." Mavis then raised her hand to stop them from protesting. "Nothing bad happens, it's just that civilians found him laying down on a bench with a thick blanket to cover him. The rain had already started when he was found, so it isn't noticeable but… we notice tear tracks falling down from his eyes down to his cheeks." Romeo and Asuka look at one another before looking back at their Grandmasters.
"The master wouldn't show his emotional side unless it involves our lost family members, especially if it involves Natsu-nii." Romeo narrowed his eyes at them. Makarov sighed and look at them.
"The one called Akabane Kira… looks like a female counterpart of Natsu. The only difference other than the gender is that her eyes are blue and she had cousins." Makarov stated, which made the young teens hum before Asuka gave the paper back to him.
"We'll keep an eye on them," Romeo stated, both grandmasters sighed in defeat.
"I told you this because I don't want you to engage with them but here you are." He mumbles while Mavis smiled at them.
"If you are watching them, try not to be hostile and found out more about them. If they are the people of Alvarez, then we need to know what they are doing here, but do not bother them. We are not allowed to meddle with whatever business they have here. It is one of the Emperor's condition." She stated, they both nodded before proceeding to what really brought them in the office. To report their mission.
(A few hours later)
By the time Romeo and Asuka left their guild (they would have left early when they finish their report if their grand masters didn't order them to eat inside the guild. Not only that, some of their guildmates, the new ones, tried to talk to them when they both made sure that they don't want anyone to talk them.), the raining had stopped, showing the bright sun and the city bustling with people again, the only proof that there was any rain at all, was the puddle of water found in the road and the dripping roofs of the buildings in the city. Wasting no time, the two mages headed to the market place and bought a basket of fruits, a few flowers and drinks. They then left the place, heading towards the south forest. The two of them notice the wary glances given to them by the townspeople, but they ignored it, already used with this action for the last few years.
Once they were out of sight, some people sighed in relief, while some wonders what will happen to the futures of those kids. One person, however, found the reaction of the townspeople amusing, and slightly confusing. They just saw two teens, buying and walking towards the south forest, but the people in the market place act as if they're something to be afraid of.
"It's sad." The person suddenly heard someone talk, upon looking at the source, the one who spoke was the one they were buying fruits from.
"What is?" They asked.
"That out of all the fairy tail mages, it was those teens who drifted away from all of us." At this, the vendor sighed and smiled sadly. "But it was our fault anyway."
"Your fault?" The person asked, this made the vendor to look at them and smiled sadly.
"Ah, I forgot you just settled in Akabane-san." They stated. "Those two teens are Romeo Conbolt and Asuka Connell, age 17 and 12* respectively. Three years ago, those two were the happiest children here in the fairy tail guild, but then something happened and then the next thing we know they were all cold to everybody but each other and their parents, but in their parents case, they will only talk to them in the safety of their home."
"Something happened?" Said Akabane asked.
"Oh yes," Another vendor said, hearing everything. "Three years ago, the Fairy tail team who have participated in the grand magic games, were on a mission to rescue one of their strongest guild member, Natsu Dragneel, but it seems they failed."
"Failed?"
"No, they didn't fail! They left Natsu Dragneel behind and to think he had done more than those mages in the guild!" Another vendor shouted.
"That's nonsense! Why would they leave their Nakama behind?"
"There are rumors than Natsu Dragneel is related to Zeref!"
"So? That's not enough reason to left Natsu behind! I mean, there are also other mages who are related to dark mages or came from a dark guild!"
"That's right! They have no right to left Natsu behind!"
"But Zeref is the dark wizard! The other mages were just a part of the dark mages!"
Blinking slightly, the Akabane, who was buying the fruit, watch as everyone in the market place shouts at each other, vendors and customers shouting at one another. Two sides fighting one another through their voices. Looking back at the fruit vendor they were buying at, they saw a resignation face as if this happens once in a while.
"Um…" They started.
"Oh! Don't worry, they fought like this at least thrice a week." The vendor stated, and give them the fruit they bought. "Thank you for your purchase, Akabane-san. But maybe you should avoid the market place for at least a day or two. You won't be able to stand the tension that this place will have after this day." They suggested, said Akabane nodded before turning around and left. They walk for a few minutes and turned to a dark alley, deciding to use their magic to head back to their house to tell their older siblings something that could probably help them with their plan. Muttering a spell under their breath, in flash, they were gone in the alley and back in their home.
"Wendy/Yuki, welcome back!" Zeref and Natsu shouted at once, the former standing near the window and the latter sitting at the chair placed in front of their dining table, before turning to look at each other with a raised eyebrow, while Wendy slapped her forehead at her big brother's slip.
"Onii-chan…" Natsu drawled, outreaching her hand to her brother with a smirk. Zeref groaned before putting a pouch of gems on her hand. Natsu giggled, moving her hand away and watch as their older brother pouted. The pink-haired princess put her 'earned' jewels at the table before turning to look at her sister and raised her arms. Wendy smiled, before putting the paper bag she's carrying and hugged Natsu tightly before sitting down and let Zeref to pat her head, while Aoi is scourging the bags for food, which made them raised an eyebrow before looking at each other with a smile.
"So, how's the market place?" Natsu asked, picking up a rolling mandarin that fell down from the paper bag and began to peel it with a knife that was laying down beside her arm.
"It was fine, though I saw something that we might use in our plan," Wendy stated, receiving a piece of mandarin from her sister and watch as their big brother sit down across her.
"Oh?" Zeref asked, grabbing his own when Natsu gave him one. Wendy hummed in agreement.
"The people in the market place are divided." She answered.
"Divided?" Natsu asked, eating her own piece while watching Aoi settled to berries Wendy bought.
"Yes, it seems that due to your previous actions towards the magnolia and fairy tail, everyone thinks very highly of you. And when the fairies abandoned us and hearing the rumors about you related to Zeref, their opinions separate them, that whenever you are brought they seem to fight over it but they settle it for a few days before fighting again. Or so the fruit vendor says." Both older siblings looked at the Sky Dragonslayer with wide eyes.
"I… didn't know I have that kind of effect…" Natsu mumbled, eating another mandarin while Zzeref chuckled.
"Really? Oh, wait… of course, you didn't know, you just want to eat, party, and beat people up, you pretty much won't know those things within a mile radius if those three things are in your mind." He teased, making Natsu to glare at him, he raised his hands in response. Wendy giggled, before grabbing a piece of grape that was hanging out on one of the paper bags.
"And one more." She said, "Romeo reverted back to his old attitude, and this time, Asuka is like him."
"Old attitude?" Natsu asked, looking at her sister, "His cold attitude when we 'died' at Tenrou?" At that Wendy nodded, Natsu scoffed and look at the ceiling, blinking.
"Who's Asuka?" Zeref asked.
"Daughter of Bisca and Alzack, the sharpshooter mages of fairy tail," Natsu mumbled, blinking. Aoi stopped eating and looked at his mistress.
"What's wrong?" He asked, Natsu smiled and look at him.
"Just thinking on how to soften those kids enough to manipulate them to destroy their guild, or at least get the fairy heart." Her smiled turned into a dark grin while Zeref throws his head back and laugh, while Wendy smirked darkly as Aoi's flames burst slightly.
"Planning to use those kids? That's very unlike you Natsu." Zeref smirked, putting his arm on the table, watching his sister lick her lip as if tasting on she can taste.
"Erza has no problem with attacking a defenseless Wendy, so why should I?" She asked, giggling, Zeref shakes his head and Wendy to feast on the strawberry she bought.
"Can I make Erza suffer?" She suddenly spoke up, her older siblings watch her from the corner of the eyes, watching as she began to squeeze the strawberry she was about to eat.
"Make Erza suffer?" Natsu leaned back on her chair and look at their oldest brother, who merely smirk with his eyes glinting in amusement.
"Yes," Wendy confirmed, watching the strawberry as she began to squeeze harder. "If onii-sama didn't think and acted fast when Erza attacked me and the others…" They watched as the red fruit burst and watch as it juices drip down her hand, knowing exactly what Wendy meant. If Zeref didn't protect Wendy and the others they would be injured or worse, dead and they won't be with their family.
"Alright." Zeref stated. "But not until they broke the truce." Wendy grinned at Zeref, having his permission is enough, she will just have to wait and be patient. Natsu and Aoi, who flew towards his mistress, belly already full, sweatdrop at Wendy's expression, glancing at each other, before looking at Zeref then back at Wendy.
"I think Zeref finally corrupted Wendy," Aoi stated Natsu giggled nervously.
"I think we all corrupted my young siblings." She mumbled, Aoi then thought back to their people in Alvarez before agreeing with his mistress, nodding. The remaining phoenix clan then watches as the two members of their family, snickers darkly and their dark aura grows bigger by the minute. The dog they pick up from the streets whimpered in fear as they felt the aura of their new masters.
'I should have stayed on the streets.' They thought, shivering badly when their blue-haired angel snickered darkly as it began to squeezed more strawberries.
(At the south forest)
Romeo and Asuka walked through the forest, heading towards the sacred place they held dear in their hearts. As they walk, they noticed some mountain Vulkans' lurking, which made them narrowed their eyes in annoyance. But since they weren't being attacked, they just continued on, heading towards the biggest tree there is in the forest. Upon arriving, the two teens of Fairytail sat down and began to pull out the things that they bought. It was then that the Vulkans began to attack, glancing at their enemies, they immediately ready their weapons. Asuka brings out her small handguns behind her back and shoots the Vulkans that are near them, while Romeo began to throw his blue fire at the Vulkans' that is a bit farther from them. Though the attacks the mages did, won't kill the the demons, the bullets hurt as hell and the fire is cold enought to make them tremble. Not wanting to receive any more pain, they all run away whimpering while Romeo growled.
"Don't you dare come here again!" He shouted, huffing as they all disappeared, before turning to look back at the tree, sighing in relief when there was no damage found in the treasure they were keeping.
"You okay, Asuka?" Romeo asked, which made her nod in response as she began to fixed the pictures of their missing family members and wiped the dried leaves from the small altar they have created. Romeo continues to pull out the food they brought, putting some in his and Asuka's plate, before putting some on the basket in front of the frames.
"We're back. Natsu-nii, Wendy-nee, Happy, Carla, Lily." They both mumbled, smiling at the smiling faces they saw, as tears fell down from their eyes.
(The Next day)
Kira hummed as she roams in around in the magnolia, taking note of the things that have changed and the things that haven't. As she passed by some stores that were selling some antiques, she paused and leaned down to see more of the items that were displayed in front of the shop. When she did so, she didn't notice two fairy tail mages turn at the corner and began to head towards her way. So as she stood up and turn around to continue on her way, she bumped on one of the mage's shoulders, making her stumble back while the other manages to regain their balance. Kira grunted in pain as she landed on the ground before looking at her hands to see if there are any scratches and rubs her back to relieve the pain she's experiencing. All the while, she didn't notice the two fairy tail mages looking at her with pain and nostalgia.
"Natsu-nii?" A soft male voice asked this made Kira look up and saw that it was Romeo and Asuka she bumped into.
'No, she can't be Natsu-nii, she's a girl... but she looks like Natsu-nii if she cut her hair... it can't be him... No... it's not him... She's not... Natsu-nii...'They thought and as said teens were looking at her with teary eyes, this, of course, made her ask a question that will probably give more pain to them than relief.
"Who are you?"

A/N: Okay… So I made Asuka a bit older than the cannon Asuka to fit in the story. As far as I know, she is 7 years old during the Alvarez arc but she is 8 years old when this story happens and just think that when Natsu and his siblings return back in magnolia, Asuka's 12th birthday happened a month or two earlier. So yeah, she is 12 in this story
