I don't own Once upon and Time and Vikings

Chapter 1

A girl wearing traditional dress robes standing inside the balcony waiting patiently for their time for the curse to happened.

Already packing few things once, the curse can commence, she needs to prepare for the outcome as this curse is their one chance.

She looked as she saw what is happening the dark clouds are coming.

"BARK!"

Her eyes gazed at her beloved dog. A Schnauzer-mutt hybrid siting and whines at her.

"Let's go, Tramp. Father waits for no one."

Tramp huffs and walked at her side then at a snap of her fingers.

Green misted covered their bodies and vanishes without a trace.

The dark clouds covered their home and scenes change.

…..

RIIIIIING!

School bells rang for everyone to leave their class.

No one is more eager than this girl. From the very moment of her birth, she knew that she was more than these social standings or so-called social life.

Jeanne Isabella Gold daughter of the town's dealmaker and owns pretty much everything within their rents. She kept her distance from other people since well, her dad does dealings that make people wary of her.

From an early age, Jeanne knew that she was different from everyone. Including her father.

You see, she's seen the world in a different light. Compassionate, artist and wished to make a name in the fashion world.

She is not a good or bad person. It's just that she is not good at being kind.

There is a saying that goes, "I am a woman. Hear me roar." Well, the saying became her motto that makes every day a fun challenge for her to take a stand.

She is after all a natural-born rebel.

They say she is alone, but they are wrong. She does find friends in high and low places.

Jeanne walked to her halls then outside were gave her a brief smile.

Her dog is named, Tamp. He waits for her every morning to ending of school.

No matter how many times she locks him in their backyard. He somehow always escapes.

She bends and pets her lovable buddy.

"Hey, Tramp. Another boring day for you or a fun day?" Tramp panting and licks at his owner with eager happiness.

"Come on, let us go and eat." Jeanne is walked beside Tramp. She never put him on a leash since well he never likes it and Jeanne doesn't mind since he kept himself close to her.

Stop at the donut shop to get her favorites. Tramp waited outside for his owner. Jeanne came out with a brown bag in her hand.

Two croissants and one plain bagel bread for Tramp. They went and sat on the bench at the side roads.

She also noticed some new faces in town.

'Never seen her before. Must be lost?'

"Jeanne," She looked in turn at the face she loves. A man's business suit and with a cane in hand standing behind her.

"Dad."

She went back to him as Tramp licked his hands.

"I trust that you have done well in school today?"

"Yep."

Her dad hummed and said, "Interesting. Then explain to me that why did I receive a call from today?"

Jeanne tries not to cringe and simply say, "I don't know what you're talking about?"

"English class, Frankenstein story?"

"I think Frankenstein's monster should not believe he was abandoned, and that scientist guy had it coming."

"Math class?"

"Who in the right mind would put letters in formulas."

"Science class?"

"That teaches was making a dick move and I hurt his pride by saying he couldn't satisfy no woman as he does in half of school."

"P.E?"

"It was dodge ball. That guy was being a wimp about being hit hard by me."

Mr. Gold's small smile showed that his daughter did all that today, yet he is quite proud.

"So, the rebel strikes again?" He already knows his daughter's reputation of challenging the world and not him.

Being a genius is one thing. Raising a genius, however, does come with its challenges.

"Can't say I blame you, my darling girl. You have a high opinion on yourself and the world around this small town." It wasn't him that she loves to challenge, it was the world.

It seems like her dad supported her every turn.

They stopped at the Granny's Bed and Breakfast. As always Granny and Ruby fight nearly every day.

It's like small things had to be made a big deal.

In Jeanne's opinion, small towns mean small minds. Like they felt the need to keep everyone here and not adapt to the real world out there.

Emma Swan is a bail spoon worker that happens to be found by her son, Henry. That she has given up adoption years ago when she was in jail. Came to Storybrooke to drop him at his adopted mother, Regina Mills who is the mayor that everyone seems to be afraid of her.

Strange things happened when Emma had an accident when there was a wolf. Now Emma felt she was meant to stay to check on henry of course.

Meanwhile, Emma made her way to Granny's Bed and Breakfast, coming on a heated argument between an elderly woman and a rather promiscuously dressed teen.

"You're out all night!" the older woman, clearly 'Granny', let out. "And now, you're going out again!"

"I should have moved to Boston!" the teen shouted back as they both walked downstairs.

"I'm sorry that my heart attack interfered with your plans to sleep your way down the Eastern Seaboard!"

"Excuse me!" Emma called, drawing the attention of the pair. "I'd… like a room?"

The two remained silent for a moment.

"Really?" Granny responded before heading to the front desk. "Would you like a forest view or a square view? Normally, there's an upgrade fee for the square view, but as the rent is due, I'll wave it."

"Square's fine," Emma replied.

"Excellent, and your name?"

"Uh, Emma. Emma Swan."

"Emma," a new voice let out.

Emma turned to see the spitting image of Rumplestiltskin from Henry's book, but he is in a business suit and with a cane in hand standing before her. He lacked the vile complexion that the imp had, but the look in his eyes was of a man who had power and was more than willing to use it. Next to him is a girl quite young and in her school uniform that she seemed to style herself in a punk mode. Plus, there is a dog next to them without a lease.

"What a lovely name."

"Thanks…" Emma replied reluctantly.

The man then walked past Emma towards the front desk, where Granny pulled out a wad of cash from the register.

"It's all here!"

The man took the money without even bothering to count it.

"Of course, it is. Thank you, my dear." He turned and began to walk out, but not before giving Emma a once over, his eyes sparkling, but with more malicious intent. "Enjoy your stay… Emma."

Mr. Gold walked with his daughter holding out the door for him as Tramp sat outside to wait for them.

As the door closed behind him, Emma glanced back at Granny with a worried look.

"Who was that?" she asked.

"Mr. Gold," the teen replied, watching him leave through the curtain. "He owns the place."

"The inn?"

"The town," Granny corrected. "Almost every building he owns, aside from town hall, and the mayor's house.

"Question who was that girl next to Mr. Gold? She looks too young to be his what exactly." Emma should concern about it.

"That Jeanne Gold his daughter," Ruby said.

"Troublemaker that one is. Always felt the need to rebel everyone's words and her father does nothing about it."

"Well, at least she has gust to do something about it." Ruby retorted.

"Never you mind! I don't want you to follow her example."

"Well, at least she had big dreams!"

"Anyways," Granny interjected, steering the topic away from Gold and Jeanne. "How long will you be staying?"

"Uh, a week. Just a week."

"Great," Granny replied, grabbing a key and handing it to Emma. "Welcome to Storybrooke."
