Modified by a secret program, Steven is transformed into Captain Universe, a symbol of hope who must lead the forces of freedom in a desperate struggle against the villainous Hydra.

Fitness Gym

Steven's in an empty gym, punching a punching bag steadily, and then suddenly, in anger, he knocks it off the chain, sending it flying across the room, looking at it, breathing heavily, then he hears a voice behind him.

Wendy Corduroy enters the gym, "Trouble sleeping?"

Steven, unwrapping the rags in his hands, glances at her, "Rick sent you here with a mission, ma'am?"

Wendy answers politely, "I am. And it's Wendy." She slowly and casually walks over to him.

Steven sweats, still unwrapping the rags in his hands, "Trying to get me back in the world?"

Wendy stops walking in front of him, "Trying to save it." Steven unwrapped the rags off his hands and turned his head to look at her.
