Arizona's POV:
We're driving up to this cabin, that's really in the middle of no where. We get down and go inside
"Uhhh so where are we guys?" I ask looking around not recognizing anything
"We're in a safe house I got for us" Tim says
"How about we all shower and I'll explain everything when we're done" Teddy says
Once we're done our showers, we're sitting around the living room staring at each other awkwardly. So I decide to break the ice
"So Teddy since you're clearly the only one who knows what's going on care to explain?" I say leaning back into the sofa
"Umm yea sure you deserve to know the truth" she says nervously
"Well okay I'm waiting" i say crossing my arms
"uhhh how about you ask a question and I'll answer it honestly I promise, I think that would be the easiest way" she says as she rubs her palms on her legs
"Okay sure Teddy lets have it your way. So who took me then and why?"
"The Gun and because you had two run in's with the members which exposed you to everybody that you were on their master list and that put you in danger and a easy target for other mafia's" she answers without hesitation
"What the hell?!!! You had us break into The Gun's headquarters!! Do you know how dangerous that is?! How stupid can you be to put us in so much danger!" Tim yells jumping up off the sofa
I grab his arm "Take a breath, lets hear the whole story first before we freak out" i say trying to get him to calm down so Teddy can finish
"Fine but you better talk fast" he says glaring at Teddy as he sits back down
"So you must know who The Gun is then, so who is it?" I ask her
"umm lets skip this question for now and I'll tell you at the end once you know the whole story" she says rubbing her palms again
"Oh cut the crap Teddy for someone who sure wants to talk sure isn't saying much" i say getting beyond annoyed now
"okay look I'm sorry I will tell you but you're going to freak out and I want you to hear the whole story before you freak out"
"Okay then whatever so if The Gun is so powerful like everyone says how did you get in and out so easily?" I ask her
" i'm a member of the mafia, I know the whole lay out of the place. I was there from the beginning when The Gun started taking over the day to day operations. So I know how everything works. The Gun is only close to three people, only four people know the true identity and I'm one of those people."
"Holyyy Shit!" Tim yells out we both just stare at each other completely surprised
"When I found out they took you, I had to get you out of there and I knew that meant going against them. Besides Addie I only trust you and Tim which is why I got Tim to help and stand by the car. It was easy for me to get in the building because they all know me so they didn't think anything of it until it was too late. But I needed Tim there incase something went on outside during that time" she says
Tim and I are still just staring at her and every so often at each other still completely in shock. My best friends apparently about of a big mafia group and I had no clue about it but she's a doctor, a cardio surgeon when does she even have the time. I barely even have a life outside of work. My minds working in overdrive right now, confused about it all. Wait why am I confused when I can just ask her
"Why are you even in the mafia Teddy?! You're a doctor you're not suppose to kill people!" I yell out trying to get all my thoughts together and out
"I'm part of it but it's just to help The Gun really more as a trusty friend, an advisor on personal issues I guess you can say. I don't go on the missions or kill people. I've had the training but besides today I've never had to use it. It's for my own protection since I'm so close to The Gun."
"Why are you even so close to them?" I ask confused. All three of us have been friends and hung around in the same circle since high school and none of our friends are anything like this
"To keep an eye on you, for your protection. They knew I was already your best friend so it made easier"
"So I'm the reason your in the mafia?!" I say starting to panic. Is my best friend really in danger because of me? "Wait... does Addison know about this?"
"Yes Addison knows and you're not entirely the reason it just made things easier for me to become a member"
"And Addison is okay with this?!"
"Welllll...those people I mentioned earlier, Addison happens to be one of them"
"Holy Shit! So you and Addison are both part of the mafia?!!" Tim yells out
"Yea but Addison is the same as me. There since the beginning, doesn't go on missions. The Gun is just her best friend really and Addison is my wife and your my best friend so it was easier and made more sense for me to join"
"Wooowww you and her really are distant. I had no clue either one of y'all were a member. Y'all names aren't on any list" tim says completely shocked
"So both of my good friends are in the mafia and neither one of y'all thought to say anything!" I yell out
"We couldn't! We were strictly forbidden and we were told to only keep an eye on you and make sure you're okay!" She yells out trying to defend herself
"where's Addison then?" I ask
"I don't know. If i had to guess probably with The Gun. She doesn't know what I done, I couldn't ask that of her"
"so wait you went against a mafia boss and your wife? You got balls Teddy" Tim says chuckling
"Okay so wait let me get this straight...the biggest mafia group in America is run by The Gun which two of my closest friends just so happen to be apart of. I'm on a master list which basically keeps me safe which by the way I did not ask to be put on said list. anyway, I was exposed to being on the list which put me in danger and that's when The Gun adultnapped me to keep me safe but then you and Tim broke me out and here we are hiding in a safe house" i ramble out
"Uhhh yea pretty much" teddy says
"Okay well since we got all that clear can you finally tell us who The Gun is?" I ask impatiently
Teddy takes a deep breath "It's...
Before she can finish her sentence the front door slams open. Teddy and Tim both jump up drawing their guns
"Oh no not again" i say jumping behind the sofa thinking I'm about to get adultnapped again but I don't hear anything. It's dead silence
"Uhhh Arizona, you um...you needa see this" Tim calls out to me
I slowly stand up from behind the sofa and suddenly my heart stops. it feels like my mouth hit the floor and my heart dropped. Standing in the doorway is the one person I thought I'd never get to see again
"Callie" i gasp out
