Callie's POV:
Waking up, I'm happy to see that Arizona's still asleep on my chest. I'm glad it seems like yesterday we were able to make some small progress. My shoulder is still sore from slamming into the wall but hearing and seeing her laugh like that I would do it all over again.I just hope we can continue moving forward before we have to go. I mean we can't keep hiding here forever. But I try to push those thoughts aside for now and worry about that later and just focus on trying to make things right with Arizona. She really is the most beautiful person I've ever seen. She looks so peaceful sleeping, it's almost like nothings changed in this moment. I feel her start to stir and I'm met with the most gorgeous pair of ocean blue eyes looking up at me
"You're thinking woke me up" she grumbles
"My thinking? You can't hear my thoughts" i chuckle out
""Mhmmm tooo loud, you're thinking too much" she still grumbling as she pulls me a little tighter into her
"What happened to you being perky? Even at the ass crack of dawn you were always so chirpy and perky"
"I don't wanna get upppp. i wanna lay here foreverrr" she pouts
"i'll do anything for you Ari, go back to sleep hun" i say kissing her forehead as I stroke her hair for her to fall back to sleep
I eventually dozed off too, I'm not sure how long we fell back asleep for but I'm woken to Arizona staring at me
"You're uhh staring" i rasp out my voice not fully normal from the sleep
"Yea I still kinda can't believe you're here" she softly says
I lift up her chin to look at her in the eyes "I'm sorry...for everything. I really am" She's silent as she lays back down on me
We cuddle for a few more minutes "Hey Cal?"
"Yea Ari"
She looks up at me " you know how you said you would do anything for me?" She looks at me with those big blue eyes
"Oh you heard that huh?" I say smirking
"Yea umm" she says looking nervous
"What is it Ari?"
"Can you finally tell me the whole truth please?"
"Sure, how about we get up see what everybody else is doing and we can make our way down to the lake outback and sit and talk that sound good?"
"Okay Calliope" she says withpopping the p sound at the end and giving me a dimpled smile and I can't help but smile back at her
We both make our way into the kitchen and Addison and Teddy are both already sitting there drinking coffee. Arizona walks straight in and grabs the cups while I grab the coffee pouring it into the cups. We work together like nothing changed. After it's ready Arizona takes hers outside not saying a word
"Nice seeing you two get along" Addison says wiggling her eyebrows at me
"Nothing happened Addison" I say glaring at her
"Soooo did y'all feel that cold shoulder from AZ or was that just me?" Addison ask looking around
"Yea that was weird she didn't even tell y'all good morning" i say sipping my coffee
"She's madat us" teddy says shrugging her shoulders
"Well I'm finally going to man up and tell her the whole truth in a little while so hopefully that'll fix things"
"Bout time" addison huffs
"Yea yea" i say making my way outside
"Ready to go?" I say to Arizona
"Yupp" she says as she gets up. We start walking we're not even off the porch yet before she grabs my hand intertwining our fingers. I don't say anything I just smile back at her. Walking with her just fills so naturally and normal. We sit down in some chairs that's by the edge of the water. We sit in silence for a while just looking at the view
"I wanna remember you in this moment forever. I wanna memorize every little detail I possibly can." I hear Arizona whisper
"Yea I would like too...so I guess I should start talking huh?"
"I know I had asked for this but now that it's here I'm not sure I'm ready to know" she sighs out
I grab her hand looking in her eyes " Arizona you deserve to knowand I'm going to tell you. Just know that I do love you even now i'm still completely and utterly in love with you. You were beyond amazing and more than what I could ever dream of so don't think for even one second it was because of you or that you weren't enough and god I hate myself for making you even think that for a second. I just...I love you and you will forever be the only one for me and you just need to know that" i ramble out
"Your...your still in love with me?" She says searching my eyes for answers
"Everyday. I've never stopped" i say cupping her cheek
"I wanted a lifetime with you" she says as I see the tears start to fall
"I did too...You know I never would have thought getting kissed in a dirty bar bathroom my some perky blonde woman would have ever turned into my greatest love"
"I don't regret following you and kissing you in there" she says and we chuckle at the memory
7 years ago I was crying in the bathroom at Joe's bar. I was wiping my eyes in the mirror when the door opened up and I seen a blonde women standing there
"Hey" i quickly say
"Hey...Ortho right?"
"Uh yea right hi" i say still trying to wipe my eyes
"I'm Arizona Robbins Peds Surgery I've seen you at the hospital"
I huff out
"Are you okay?"
"You know yea i'm fine" i scoff turning around
"People talk where we work they talk, alot so for the sake of being honest i-i i think i should tell you thati know things about you because people talk"
"Oh...you mean" i sigh out she shakes her head "terrific" i say looking down
"It isactually the talkpeople really like you over there, they respect you and their concerned and interested, they really like you..some of them reallyyy like you. you just you look upset and I thought that you should know that the talk is good and when you're not upset when you're over being upset there will be people lining up for you"
I start laughing "wanna give me some names?" and thats when i feel soft lips on mine a spark and a kiss unlike any other
"I think you'll know" she says as she walks away
Back to the present
"You know I didn't know it then but that day you saved me. You were like coming up for fresh air, it was like I was drowning and you saved me" i say to her
"Then why did you leave Callie?"
"Arizona you know what I say here has to say between us, you can't trust anybody with this information okay?" She shakes her head yea i take a deep breath
"You know I come from a rich and powerful family. Yes my dad really does own all those hotels and businesses but there also just a cover to run his behind the scene business. Growing up I swear I didn't know anything about this I really thought he was just so big and powerful from owning all that but boy was I wrong. You know that I never used my trust fund from him unless for big purchases which were rare. I made a purchase using it and it raised some flags with him. I didn't know he got notifications of when I used it and he started questioning what the purchase was for..."i say trailing off
"I want the whole truth Calliope, no secrets" she says looking at me
"No secrets" i whisper "it was um...it was an engagement ring" i say looking at her
She looks kinda shocked "For...For me?" I shake my head yea "you were...you were going to propose? To me?l she says still looking shocked i shake my head yea again "you were going to propose and you still left! You still for four years!" She jumps up yelling at me
"Ari... you said you wanted to know the whole truth I'm trying to tell you it" i say softly
"You're right..I do..I'm sorry" she says theres a pause "you can continue now" she says with a chuckle and I can't help but chuckle along with her
A/N: This will be a Calzona endgame! However should I wrap up the story in like the next two chapters? Or would y'all like to have more of them, maybe in the future or something? How much I continue or not will honestly just depend on what majority of the people comment on what they want
