Callie's POV:

I wake up once again to Arizona not being in bed with me. Honestly I'm kinda annoyed with it. I love sleeping with her. I decide to get up and go find her. Tim's sitting in the kitchen

"Hey Tim where's yoursister?"

"finally you wake up! she's out by the lake said to tell you to go meet her" he says shaking his head with a smirk on his face

"Uhh okay thanks?" I say questionably

When I get down to the lake I see a pretty decent size fire with our chairs surrounding it and some blankets on the ground

"You did all this?" I ask sounding a little surprise

"um yea I hope it's okay I thought it was a good ideaand I did mention it to you earlier" she says looking nervously around

"Of course it is! Come on it's a little chilly" i say pulling her so we can sit by the fire

"I brought stuff to make smores!" She says giving me her dimpled smile and showing me the stuff she brought

"Okay but uh can you um show me how to make one?" I ask sheepishly

"Whatcha mean? you never had one?" She looks at me confused

"uhh no"

"Okay then I'll make it!" She says as I watch her quickly make one " okay try this Calliope" she hands it to me giving me her smile and I can't help but smile back as I take it from her.

I see her eyeing me as I go to take a bite and once I do I can't help but to let out a loud moan "that is good" i say to her and i notice she's blushing

"Good to know I still make you moan" she says giving me a wink

"Some things will never change" i say shooting a wink back

I hear her clear her throat and then she turns and looks at me "sooo wanna pick up where we left off early?"

"um yea okay"

"I mean only if that's okay you don't have to"

"no it's okay. When he told me that I had to leave and go run the mafia I refused, he seen that I wasn't budging on it and he threatened me. He threatened my life to have one of his men handle me or to make me just disappear without a trace and I still refused. I figured there's no way he would actually hurt his own daughter so I called his bluff and refused." I say looking down

"Calliope did he..did he hurt you?" She softly asks grabbing my hand

"No but when he realized nothing he was trying was working, he threatened you. He had you stalked I seen the pictures. He was gonna have you hurt or worst killed and I just...i just couldn't" i say starting to cry uncontrollably

She gets up rubbing my back "ssshhh it's okay just take a deep breath" i take some deep breaths "ssshh that's it just take your time whenever you're ready"

I finally get myself under control " i knew he was a powerful man. I was so worried he would actually do something to you so I agreed to run it but that I had to tell you and talk to you first. Boy did he flip out at that idea, he didn't like that one bit. He showed me a video of a man following you, he was right there by you. I was freaking out and my dad said that if I didn't do exactly how he wanted he was going after you. He said no one can know the truth, that it would only put more citizens in harm and it would ruin his business. I was so scared he was going to do something. Eventually I got him to agree to putting both you and mark on the masterlist so I can at least keep y'all safe that way."

"Wow um that's alot to take in...I can't believe your dad"

"I never would have left you otherwise I really thought he was going to do something i'm so sorry" i say starting to cry again

"Sshhh it's okay you were just trying to protect me. I get it I would want to protect you too. It sucks but I get it" she says rubbing my back

"You do?" I look up at her

"I do"

"do you forgive me? I don't deserve your forgiveness so I understand if not"

"I do" she says staring back in my eyes. She cups my face and we're looking in each other eyes. I see her leaning in and she's close enough I can feel her breath on me "If you don't want me to kiss you, you need to say something" i hear say her breathings getting hard

Instead of answering her I lean in and kiss her. It feels just like the first time we kissed. I can still feel the sparks there. It doesn't take long for it to heat up. I feel her suck on my bottom lip running her tongue on it and I immediately open my mouth both of us plunging our tongues in and out of each others mouth. She eventually pulls back out of breath. "Woow" i hear her whisper

"Um yea that was yea" i say chuckling

"I missed that"she says leaning back into me

" i did too" i say back and before i know it her lips are back on mine. Now it's my turn to pull back

" Arizona as much as I love kissing you, I still need to say some things..." i say trailing off

"Sorry we kinda get carried away easily" she says chuckling

"Yea we do" i say laughing back

"Okay so what else do I need to know?"

"Ari I am so sorry...I never meant for this to happen to you or to drag you into this. This is my life and I'll deal with it but I don't want to mess up your life. Do you...do um have someone else back at home? I understand if you moved on, I don't expect you to have waited for me or anything. But i don't want to complicate things for you. I want you happy. Are you happy? I mean I still love you...god i never stopped loving you. But if you have someone I understand I want you to be happy. You deserve at least that" i ramble out

"Cal take a breath" i hear her say with a slight chuckle " I am happy"

"Oh god!" I stand up "i kissed you i'm sorry i gotta...i gotta go" i say running off i can hear her yell my name but I still keep running. Of course she found someone else she's amazing.
