Sorry for the delays! Who I had helped me edit has not been able to. So, this all has taken a lot longer than I expected. I will try to post through the chapters I have finished.
Two longer years of freedom from being a hero. Link took every moment as a gift. As the time passed it seemed that he may not have the calling of being a hero in this life. Part of him still wondered if he made the right choice by not returning to Hyrule.
The memories of his past that once haunted him, he made new memories with the new friends he had. It allowed him to conquer those memories instead of drowning in the past lives that were only a piece of him. Here he was allowed to create memories that no other hero had ever done before. See worlds, species and all sorts of adventures that carried him through the dimensions.
When Link finally recovered from his injuries Autum took him under her wing, becoming his mentor training him. He would learn many different skills and ways of fighting that he would have never learned on Hyrule. Navi even joined in the training, wanting to become useful and able to help where she could.
The bonds between Link, Navi, Autum and Celtic grew tight over the years. They became a fighting force, taking on bounties of their own. Though their bounties Link slowly proved himself that he didn't need Autum's help and he was able to take care of himself and Navi.
Autum started to allow Link to run their missions and she became less of a mother bear to him. Though sometimes old habits would rise, she had a new respect for Link over the years. He clearly had grown much more into a fighter.
Bounty hunting was riveting though they always remembered to once in a while take a pause and appreciate what they had. They had each other and Autum finally could say she made friends and was doing what she could to keep them.
As for Brat and her crew, they went off in their own direction. Brat having a bounty on her head, meaning they needed to stare clear of dimensional government ran dimensions. But it also allowed them all to start their own adventure together. Even if it was on the run and hiding away, they would be together through it.
Eznik decided not to join Brat and her crew. His two daughters were old enough for them to take their journey without him. Though he did threaten if they didn't contact him every couple of weeks he would send Autum and her group after them.
Deciding to take what little time he left into his own hands. As everything that had happened with him he had a change of heart about how he felt about death. Greeting it one too many times on that adventure he decided to reach out to his connections to see if anyone could help him in extending his life.
It paid off and it seemed someone was already expecting the doctor to want it. Eznik was able to get the surgery that was needed to give him more time. He decided with Brat and her crew gone, he would try to mend his relationship with his youngest, Kali.
