The smile across Navi's face vanished as they appeared in Castle Town for the town they expected to see wasn't there. Large buildings towered around them and their huge shadows cast down on them making them feel uneasy. What was even more eerie was that these buildings that surrounded them, looked to be abandoned. All seemed deserted. They noticed that parts of some of the buildings looked to be crumbling like something hard had hit it.

"W-what is this?" Link asked as he looked down the street they were on. It looked like one the planets that he had visited with Brat and her crew. This couldn't be Hyrule, he thought. "Did you take us to the wrong place, Navi?"

"L-Link… I-i" Navi moaned as she grabbed his arm. Looking at her, he could feel her grip loosen. Link grabbed her arm as she collapsed. "Navi!" He yelled. He picked her up and held her in his arms..

Autum who was studying their surroundings turned to the two youths. "Lay her down." she snapped as she pulled her bag off of her shoulder. "Celtic," Autum spouted as she bent down digging through her bag. "Scout the area." He immediately took off.

Link laid Navi down on the ground looking to Autum as she pulled out a small black case. "Link check for any wounds." she directed as she opened a small case. She pulled out a health monitor. She moved up, putting it on the side of Navi's head.

Link shook his head. "There's nothing." he said. He noticed that Navi was shaking and had a couple tears running down her cheeks. "Navi, please hold on." Link pleaded as he grabbed her hand, holding it tight. He looked to Autum hoping she had an answer. She was looking at her phone.

"Navi, I need you to tell me how you feel." Autum requested as she put her hand on Navi's cheek. "I need you to tell me if it's a certain spot or your whole body." Navi opened one of her eyes. "I-it all hurts… I.t. it hurts.." she moaned.

Their attention went to the sky as a siren started blaring from out of nowhere.. Link's ears went low, he never heard anything like it .. The sound was blasting. It was offensive and painful. He put his hands over his ears to protect them. He looked to Autum who gritted her teeth knowing this wasn't good. "Celtic!" She screamed out hoping he would hear over the siren. She looked at him as he ran up to them. "I need you to take her."

Link looked at the two of them. "What's happening? Is Navi going to be ok?" Link asked in a panic, looking to Celtic as he picked up Navi. Link guessed since Celtic could easily carry her weight is why Autum had him carry her.

Celtic felt Navi grab onto his shirt. "Shush. Save your strength Navi, please. Once we get somewhere safe we will help you. It's not safe here." Celtic conveyed to her.

"We have to find somewhere safe. Grab her bag Link." Autum snapped as she tossed the case into the bag. She then rifled through her bag pulling out a sphere. Pushing a couple of buttons on it. It chirped a couple times then she tossed it. The moment it was in the air it started floating. "Environmental scan, need below sea level secured structure now." Autum depicted as she zipped up her bag.

Link bit his lip, he wanted to ask what was happening, but knew it could wait. He looked to Navi's small duffle bag on the ground and grabbed it. Even with being with Autum and the others for two years there was always new tech and other things he had never seen before. He studied the orb wondering what it was for. He heard it speak in a mechanical voice.

"Structure request found. Two blocks from current location." "Mode guide, speed 4." Autum directed as she hoisted her bag over her shoulder. Looking at Link she directed "Keep close, got it." She took off after the orb as it flew off to its destination.

Link didn't understand what was happening. He looked to Celtic who took off running after Autum with Navi in his arms. Link's attention went back down the street as he heard a piercing whistling noise. It had a shrill to it. He never heard anything like it before. He had no idea what was going on. He saw this odd shaped object plunge into the building causing a loud explosion, wrecking the side of the building.

The force of the explosion caused Link to lose his footing. He held his ears from the sound as he fell backwards. Everything became quiet as he caught himself from falling down. He felt disoriented from the explosion and he could tell that his hearing was affected. His one ear started bleeding from the sound.

Feeling someone grab his arm he looked in that direction. It was Autum and she said something, but he couldn't understand her. He could feel himself being dragged down the street. He didn't understand what was happening. He felt so dizzy and disoriented.

Celtic looked at the sphere as it stopped in front of a building. He looked back at Autum who was dragging Link behind her as she advanced. Looking back at the boarded up door he kicked it hard busting it down. "Speed 1." Celtic spoke up as he walked into the room and looked around. He could tell the place was deserted. "Show path to lower structure."

He knew what to do as this wasn't the first time Autum and he had been through something like this. He knew they needed to find a safe structure below ground to protect themselves from this bombing attack.

Looking to Navi who grabbed his shirt tight as she cried some. She was in pain, his best guess was from her hearing possibly. He knew that Link and Navi had much more sensitive hearing than his and Autum's. He prayed Autum could figure out what was the overlaying problem with her.

As he studied the building it looked like whoever had been there, just dropped everything and left. The office spaces had computers, coffee cups, snacks, pictures of family and other small nick nacks on the desks still. As he looked about he found the lights in the building weren't working. There was only the dim light coming in from the boarded up windows and the door he had busted down.

Celtic followed the orb towards a wall where it stopped. "Light mode" Celtic spoke up knowing that they would need the light when they entered the lower levels. Looking back to the door he saw Autum run in pulling her young friend with her.

Autum panted, as she looked at Link. He clearly was lost and his hearing probably shot from the blast. She knew one of his ear drums had to be busted, but she knew she could worry later about such as they needed to get to a safe space. She put her hand on his cheek to make him look at her. "Follow." Autum spoke slowly, hoping he could read her lips. Watching him as he nodded, she headed over to where Celtic was.

"It stopped here." Celtic told Autum. "Hidden?" Autum looked at the wall and pulled out a dagger from her belt. She used the hilt and hit it against the wall. She stopped and looked to the boarded up windows as the ground shook from another missle hitting a nearby building.

Going back to the wall she hit it again. Pausing, she ran her hand over the wall. She placed the dagger against it, hitting the hilt to make the end of the dagger go into the crack of the wall. She cautiously pulled the wall out some. Putting her hand in the crack she started to pull the wall apart.

Link watched Autum mess with the wall. His ears rang and he could feel his balance was off as he staggered to just stand there. He put his hand up against a wall trying to keep himself upright. Watching Autum, he was trying to follow everything she was doing. When she started to open the wall he ran up to aid her.

Once they tore away the wall he stepped back and looked at what they had revealed. A set of steps that lead down. He winced as the sphere started to move passed him and headed down the stairs. He slowly moved up against the wall closing his eyes. The pain was getting to him and being off balance wasn't helping.

Autum looked to Celtic. "How is she?" Celtic shook his head saying something in another language to her. He did so because he didn't want to worry Link, but the girl wasn't doing well. She was going down hill and fast. He didn't have a clue why either.

"Come on." Autum spoke up as she put up the dagger. She reached back pulling out a gun. Looking to Link, she walked up and tapped him on the shoulder nodding to the stairs. She headed down the stairs following the orb.

Link's attention went to Autum as she then headed down the stairs. He pulled out the short sword she had given him. He followed after her using the railing to help him down the stairs. He felt wobbly but was determined to do this with no help. He glanced back at Celtic who followed behind him carrying Navi.

The sphere stopped as it hit the bottom of the stairs. Autum looked to a hallway, it was dark. "Advance and pick strongest structured room." She spoke up. Watching the orb go ahead, Autum followed behind it keeping her guard up. She was sure no one was down here, but she didn't want to take any chances.

Link watched Autum head into a room. He looked up to the ceiling as the ground above them shook some, only the light from the orb lit the hall. His eyes trailed back to Celtic who did not seem to be alarmed by it. He walked into the room, he hated how much his ears were ringing. It was hard to stay on task with the noise, dizziness and pain. He looked to Autum as she knelt down on the ground. He walked up to her not sure what to do. He leaned up against the wall as he looked over at the orb as it was floating there just being a light source for the group.

Autum looked to the teen. Tugging on his pants leg, she patted the ground next to her. Pulling off her bag she opened it, shuffling through it. She pulled out a small grey container opening it. She as well took out a small device and held it up against Link's ears. Taking his hand she put one of them in it. "This goes in your ear." she spoke loudly hoping he could hear some.

Link studied her. He looked down at the device. Frowning, he wasn't sure how to go about doing what she was telling him. He winced as Autum took it from him. She took it and gently put it in his ear. She then pushed on the device and it made a light humming sound. She moved back as she held the other up to him. Link took the other one putting it in his other ear. Autum then messed some with it.

Autum studied his blue eyes for a second and then pulled out her phone typing on it. She held it up towards him. "Keep in for 30 minutes." Link bit his lip nodding. He wouldn't be able to hear for that long and on top of that feeling so off balance he felt very uncomfortable. He looked over to Celtic who walked up to them.

Pulling out a small tube from her bag, Autum started twisting the top. She pulled out the outside container and rolled out a small mat. It inflated to a small pillow. "Lay her here." she instructed Celtic.

Celtic knelt down and laid Navi on the pillow. He felt her grab his hand. He smiled softly at her. "I-it's so quiet..." Navi whimpered as tears ran down her cheek. Celtic moved his hand to her cheek hoping to reassure her that they were going to help her.

Autum looked at the readout from the medical device. Autum glanced at Navi, the read out wasn't giving anything useful just stats dropping. Closing her eyes, she was trying to figure out what could be causing this? She had done some research on dimensional faeries since Navi had joined up with them and she was trying to remember anything worthwhile

"Celtic are you able to feel if there is anti-magic field here?" she inquired. Celtic glanced at Autum with a frown as he nodded feeling foolish that he hadn't thought of that before."You can still seal, right?" As he nodded she pointed to Navi. "I need you to seal whatever magic she has left in her."

Link was watching the two of them as he couldn't hear anything and from Autum's expression it was clear that she might have an idea of what was wrong with Navi. He hated this. He felt useless yet again. He paused and looked to his pockets and pulled out his phone. Just like Autum he thought he would use it to communicate.

Celtic nodded at Autum as he knew what she was wanting. This was urgent and he needed to do this now. Closing his eyes he started chanting. He knew he needed to be careful on sealing her. She had to have access to her magic, if he messed up, he could hurt her more or worse, kill her.

Picking up her bag Autum got to her feet walking to the center of the room. Looking around she bent down, dropping the bag. She grabbed a device out of the bag, looking at it to see how much of a charge it had left. Link walked up to her. He bent down next to her holding his phone out to her.

She took the device reading what he had typed out. "What is wrong with Navi?" Her attention went up to the ceiling as it shook some from another attack above. She didn't want to leave him in the dark, but she needed to finish setting this device up. Pushing a button on his phone she set it on the ground, so it would do voice to text so she could continue to work.

"There is an anti-magic barrier, she is affected by it. Celtic is going to keep her magic sealed up in her." Autum spoke as she set up the tripod. She slid the phone back to him and went to her bag pulling out another device to hook up to the tripod.

Link's ears went down as he looked over to Celtic. He studied him as he chanted over Navi. Link had so many questions, but knew it would be hard for the conversation using text on a phone. A blue light in the corner of his eye caught his attention. He looked at the device that was scanning the room. He then looked to Autum who just went to her feet.

She held out her hand to Link and pulled him up to his feet. Autum studied him debating if she wanted to say anything but shook her head. Grabbing her bag she let out a sigh and walked over to Celtic as he finished his seal. She bent down and shuffled through the medical case. Navi rolled over on her side whimpering, it was clear the poor girl was in a lot of pain.

Autum loaded up a medical gun and shot it into Navi's side, to help her rest. Autum tapped the empty gun against her hand, thinking what to do next. She looked back to Navi as she fell off to sleep.

"Celtic toss me you ear aids." Autum requested as she started to pack her bag back up. She looked up to Celtic who held them out to her. Taking them she looked to Link using her finger to call him over.

Link jogged up to her. Autum handed him some ear plugs like he had in his ears. She pointed to Navi and then pulled out another small container. Link knelt down next to Navi putting the ear plugs in carefully. Navi was fast asleep. He noticed that there were black markings covering the left side of her face. On her wings, the markings that showed that she was a dimensional faerie were gone. He looked her over wishing he could do more to help her or to help Autum.

"Celtic if you could activate the ear aids?" as Autum spoke, he could tell her mind was elsewhere. Celtic walked up next to Link putting his hand on his shoulder. He bent down pointing at the earpiece and slowly tapped it. He did the other ear as well.

Link watched Celtic so he knew how to help next time. Slowly he sat down next to Navi and brushed her bangs out of her face. He smiled weakly hoping all this was going to help her.

Autum zipped up her bag and tossed it against the wall. Walking to the wall she leaned up against it sliding down. She closed her eyes, she couldn't believe she fucked this all up. She relied way too much on Navi's ability to teleport, now because of that they were stuck there. Even calling for help, if they could, could be weeks before help even got there.

"What.." Autum snipped as Celtic sat down next to her. "He can't hear us, so go ahead and say why your pissed." Celtic spoke up as he pulled out his phone. Turning it on, he selected a game. He traded his smoking habit for playing phone games, still he was grateful for that smoke he snuck though earlier.

Letting out a sigh of defeat she looked to the device she had set up in the room. "Fucked up… I relied too much on Navi's ability on teleporting, so now we have little to nothing as far as supplies." Autum muttered, clearly beating herself up on the topic. "And we are stuck here in case you haven't come to that conclusion."

Glancing up from his game he chuckled. "You will make this work, we have been in worse scenarios with the elites. This time we can at least call your brother." Autum shook her head. "Yeah… but time works differently here… it can be days or weeks before he receives the message and will be a week or two for him to get here if we are lucky." She uttered as she looked at him.

Celtic looked up to the ceiling as it shooked from another attack. "Once those two recover enough we just move out of the city right?" He said as he looked at her. "So from there you can make some plans and so on. Maybe outside of the city Link might recognize some stuff and help lead us somewhere where we can get some intel.."

Autum pulled out her phone and sighed. She typed on it and glanced at Link. She watched him look at his phone, that was good, service to text on their phones worked here. Meant someone here set up a service they could use, also meant a message should be able to get out to Eznik without having to set up anything extra.

Link looked at his phone. "Get some rest, we aren't leaving anytime soon." He looked up to Autum who nodded to him. He let out a small sigh as he nodded back. He looked to Navi. He grabbed her duffle bag sliding it over closer. He laid back using it as a pillow as he laid down next to her.

Watching the ceiling shake some, he closed his eyes. He hoped this all was just a dream. He wished for the Hyrule he knew, not this place. He prayed maybe this all was a mistake. He hoped that when he woke up they would be next Castle Town with Navi doing just fine.

"I won't be able to save your phone once is runs out of batteries.." Autum warned as she leaned against Celtic. She knew that she needed to try to relax some, they were stuck here because of the bombing upstairs. What more they would have to wait a bit just in case the enemy sent out 'clean' up crews.

"I packed a solar charger, so I should be fine on battery life. I doubt that you would rather me go back to cigs." Celtic jest, as he leaned over some trying to get a better position to play his game as Autum leaned on him. Autum pulled Celtic's phone from his hand. She started to play his game.

Celtic frowned at her. "You're really bad at that game. You're going to mess up my high score run. Give it back." Autum chuckled. "Not if I get that high score." Celtic let out a sigh of defeat. "You are going to die…" Autum growled as she held the phone to him. "Told you.." Celtic remarked as he took his phone back to start his game over as the two tried to waste time.

Autum looked up at the ceiling as it shook again. Someone had to come to this place and they brought tech they shouldn't have. No way a civilization could have advanced so quickly. Which suggested that was the real reason these people came here.

Autum looked at her phone debating on what she wanted to send to Eznik. She had to run through supplies she believed they needed without knowing how bad everything was. She at least knew Eznik liked to be overly-prepared so he would bring supplies he thought was necessary since he used to do triage in war zones.
