Callie's POV:
I woke up in the middle of night to a surprise to say the least. Arizona and Teddy thought it would be funny to prank me and Addie. Once the prank was finally over I managed to convince Arizona to come cuddle with me and go to sleep together. It didn't take much, giving her my big brown eyes and a pouty face will win her over every time. Waking upthis morning I'm defiantly excited for Operation The One tonight and nervous about having to keep Arizona occupied inside all day. But I do trust Addison to get the job done, now all I have to do is my part.
Addison's POV:
When I told Teddy last night about Operation The One to say she was excited would be a bit of an understatement. She insisted that we wake up at the ass crack of dawn to start getting everything ready and now I kinda wish I would have waited to tell her until today, the day of. We sent Tim to town to get the supplies we needed, now we're just waiting on him to get back so we can get started.
Arizona's POV:
I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed from my Calliope and I was able to sneak in some good ole fashion junior high make out sessions after. When we finally got of bed, I noticed we were the only ones in the house and when I tried to ask Callie about it or try to go outside she stopped me and refused. She even body blocked the door. She's been acting strange allll morning but she won't give me any straight forward answer on any of it. I finally get enough of it about half way through the day and snap at her
"Calliope! Enough! What the hell is going on?!"
"Uhhhhh" she starts stuttering and fidgeting again
"Just tell me already Callie!" The use of her short name snaps her out of it
"Look I promise it is nothing bad. It's just a surprise for you but you gotta hang in there a little while longer if you want your surprise" she says winking at me and walking away
"That's not fair Calliope!" I try to yell after her
Callie's POV:
Keeping Arizona in the house has been a difficult task all day long. It wasn't like I could distract her with sex, we haven't been there yet but I was able to distract her with a couple make out sessions. That only lasted for a little bit though when one of us would have to pull away before things would be taken too far. Finally Teddy comes inside the house when Arizona jumps up yelling at her before she can even get the door closed
"Where the hell have you been Theodora?!"
"Uhhh i gotta go pee" she says running off to a different room. And i just sit back and laugh at Arizona's impatientness.
I go to stand up and look at her "it's almost time for your surprise I'm gonna go out there and Addison will come backhere and let you know when to come"
"Fineeeee but hurry up" she demands giving me a quick peck on my lips. It's the kinda kiss that was over way to quick but seems like we have been doing this all of our lives. Even though it was short I can still feel the tingles on my lips. I rub my fingers on them smiling as I make my way outside.
I go down to the lake once I make my way out of the trees I'm stunned at the amazing beautiful view
"Well do you like it?" Addison asks snapping me out of the staring and looking around
"Like it? I love it! Thank you sooo much I so owe you and Teddy big time!"
We standing there just looking out at everything for a little bit in silence. As soon as you get of the trees you hit the sand which then leads you to the water with a dock going out too it. In the sand and following all through to the end of the dock is rose petals scattered all on the ground making a trail lined up with lit candles. Once you walk to the end of the dock its a table covered with a white table cloth with two rustic type chairs. In the middle of the table is a nice rose bouquet with two candles lit on either side of it and hanging above us is strings of light tied up by the tall poles made for the dock.
"So you ready for Arizona?" Addison asks me
"yea she's going to love this! Thank you again so much this is truly breathtaking and better than I ever could have imagined"
"Well you know me I'm an amazing decorator" she says laughing "alright Cal I'm gonna send Arizona this way get ready and goodluck" she says hugging me and walks away
I stand at the beginning of the trail trying to take deep breaths and not panic waiting for Arizona to come. I'm trying to get my breathing under control when I hear a loud gasp come from behind me and I turn around and there's my girl. I can't help the big smile that takes over my face. I probably look like an idiot right now smiling for ear to ear but I could care less.
"Did you do all this for me?" She says and I can see her eyes glistening with tears
"Lets just say I had alot of help. Now let me escort you to our table" i say wrapping my arm around her. When we get to the table I pull out her chair for her and she takes a seat
"Wow you really pull out all the stops for a second first date" she says looking around in amazement
"I wanted the night to be special... actually I have a confession Addison and Teddy totally set all this up and done this by themselves" i say laughing and she joins in
"We definitely have to thank them!"
"Yea and Tim helped too"
"Everyone knew but me?!"
"kinda but it's your surprise. I figured we could sit here and talk and Addie has a fruit tray and some wine packed away in here" i say pulling out the ice chest hidden under the table "anything sounds good as long as I'm with you"
"Sweet talker" i say winking at her
Our conversation is flowing smoothly and I swear I've smiled and laughed more in this moment than I have in the past four years later. I start fidgeting with what's in pocket, I really wanted to wait until the end of the date to do this but I'm growing really impatient. I stand up and get down on one knee on side of Arizona
"Babe what are you doing?" She says looking at me confused
I pull out the case in my pocket and flick it open to show the shiny diamond ring I got her
"Arizona Robbins, you once told me I love you and you love me and none of the rest of it matters. These past few days spent with you I have been the happiest I've been in a long time. I know that with you by side we can figure out and go through anything together. I'm not worried about the future because as long as I have you I know I'll be okay everything else will just fall into place. So here I am four years too late but i'm ready to do something that should have been done along time ago. So Arizona Robbins will you marry me?" I say looking at her I can see the tears falling down her face
She jumps up pulling me along with her into a passionate hot kiss she finally pulls back and I'm searching her eyes for answers
"Yes! Yes! A million times yes Calliope!" She says with a huge grin as I slip the ring on her finger
I pull her into a kiss grabbing her ass and lifting her up, her legs instantly wrap around my waist.
"mmm i love you my fiancée" i say as I push the stuff off the table making way for her to sit on top of it. I thrust my tongue inside of her warm mouth and battle for dominance until I pull back sucking her bottom lip with a pop. My hands are roaming all over her body I go to take off her shirt when she pulls back
"not here" she gasps out
"What you mean?" I say sucking on different points of her neck
"Cal...callie... mmm i...i don't want...the mmm...the first time with my fiancée...to be like this" she finally gets out in between pants
I stand up straight "well why didn't you say that sooner" i say with a smirk helping her off the table "come on I wanna take my fiancée to bed" i say grabbing her hand
"I love the way that sounds but we should clean up first"
"Leave it we'll get it tomorrow" i say dragging her along to make our way to the cabin
