Celtic glanced at Autum he could tell the gears in her head were going trying to make the most out of the situation. "How many of these outsiders are there?" He spoke up as he looked to Zelda. He knew that is the direction that Autum would want to go.
"There are six of them. Even such a small group was able to take down everything." Zelda looked at the table, she felt as if they should have been able to fight them, but numbers didn't matter.
"Care to share what information you have on them?" Celtic asked her, though his attention went to Ganondorf who walked around him holding a large rolled up map. He rolled it out on the table. The map was of hyrule. There were six sections that have been highlighted. They had pictures next to each section of the person who was controlling the area. They had little pieces of writing as well, possibly gathered intel on them.
"They divided hyrule in their own domains. We don't know what all the skills they have, they mostly used what technology they had to win." Ganondorf explained as he looked to Celtic.
Autum sat up looking at the map. "Celtic, phone." She held out her hand to him. Celtic frowned at her, why couldn't she have asked Link or Navi for theirs. He wanted his phone so he could play his games. He sighed handing it over to her. Autum stood up holding the phone taking a scan of each of the people's faces.
Ganondorf and Zelda watched Autum curious about what she was doing. Autum took note of the two out of the corner of her eye. She knew that meant she would have to give a more indepth run of how to use her phone if they didn't understand this. She also didn't know how much tech they really did have.
Link looked at the map of his world. All of it had shifted in some ways. Looked like more cities had been made, though there seemed to still be open areas of just open land. He was grateful to see not all of it had changed to massive cities.
Autum moved back looking through the phone as it finished uploading. Autum typed a few things, she could at least get something quick about them. "They are known as the StinkKid Riders. They are known for hijacking space stations." Autum spoke out loud, "it seems they had vanished off the radar after a hijacking gone wrong. So it seems they made their way here." She looked to Zelda and Ganondorf.
Zelda bit her lip, she hated being out of the loop oneven words. "What's a space station?" She spoke up. Autum looked back to her phone and started to push a few things on it. She flipped over the phone setting it on the table. A small hologram appeared above it of a space station.
"I assumed this group came on a spaceship?" Autum questioned them. Ganondorf nodded, he looked to Zelda who walked around the table up to Autum. She bent down looking at the hologram. She never saw anything like it.
"So a spaceship flies the skies as a space station holds a city in it." Autum spoke up as she watched the queen. "A city?" Zelda looked at her. "This station must be huge then." She slowly moved her hand through the station. "What is this.. What is displaying the space station?" She looked up to Autum as she stood up.
"It's called a hologram, um.. Uses light and some other bullshit to create the image." Autum spoke keeping it short. Zelda nodded as she looked to the map. These people took over cities, here they took over her kingdom. She looked over to Link who had stood up and was reading over the map. But with him, they might have a chance to win Hyrule back.
"What would they do with these space stations? It's clear they don't stay at them, if they have done this more than once to a space station." Ganondorf asked.
"Sold it most likely to the highest bidder or striped if of what's valuable." Autum spoke up as she eyed the map. It seemed they did have some luck, they all were divided meaning they could attack one at a time and hope they were selfish enough not to rejoin each other.
Autum picked back up the phone and looked back at the info on the group. Their last attack was on a DP archive… meaning it wasn't a bust mission, they must have got this location out of the archives. Though… it did mean Link getting captured the first time, allowed these people to get that information on Hyrule. It also meant the DP sent someone down to learn about the mythos or the culture, so that's how they would have learned about the triforce.
"So once they have the triforce… they would just sell ownership to someone else?" Zelda looked at the group hoping to get some answers. Celtic looked to Autum who clearly had her focus on her phone. "Yeah, who knows what type of person would take over." He answered Zelda.
Zelda shook her head. "I won't let that happen." She snapped. "We will take back Hyrule from these outsiders!" She rallied. "With your help, Link." She looked to Link.
Link looked at her, he could tell she still had her love of Hyrule. She was probably willing to give it her all. He nodded. "We will all help to get Hyrule back." He confirmed with her.
Autum moved over the table to see more on the map of the small details. "So, each of these areas, do you feel if we took down the leader in a region that the locals would rise up?" She looked to Ganondorf, it was clear he was more of the military driving force here.
Ganondorf listened to her. Looking at the maps, he had to think about the intel he had. The issue with the intel, a lot of it was now months old. In the last attack from the enemy they had lost so many. Most of them were injured and still recovering as others were just orphans of war.
His eyes trailed to each of the sections who would be willing to fight? "The Gorons and the Rito would. The Rito last I heard still had some of their own resistance still fighting. As for the others." he pointed to the Zora Realm. "They have been pretty much closed off and we have the least amount of intel on them. We don't know what has been happening. As for here." He pointed to the largest of the sections. "They are the two who are running this. They have more or less rebuilt this as the capital. It is to follow their rule, do what they want and everything is fine. If not you got to their prisons."
Autum listened to him. She needed to figure out what was best. What more it seemed to of the areas have before more or less working with the people of the planet, verus ruling with an iron fist. Which all can make for dangerous confrontation for people living there. " Ok, out of the six, who seemed to be the one that was the outcast when you saw them together?"
"Rider" Zelda spoke up as she pointed to the mountains. "They would down talk him and they didn't like some of his views when they were at the castle." "Do you feel if he was taken down would they notice?" Autum followed up the question.
"No they won't." Ganondorf spoke up. "They don't even send their own scouts to check in on him. It's clear he has cut some ties with them. He is the one we have the most intel on because all he has done is turn the city to a place to party." Autum nodded as she crossed her arms trying to think about this. "How long is the journey from here to there?"
"Three days. By horseback." Ganondorf spoke up. "Not the best of travels, but the allies we will get from taking Rider will be good. The Gorons have their strength and resilience that can help us in the other regions."
Autum frowned at the thought of horseback. She assumed that was an animal of some sort. "We want to keep our group small, the easier for us to slip in each of the regions and take out the leaders." She looked at him. "They will be able to hold their city to make sure it doesn't get taken back. Any extra man power they have can be brought here."
"Why don't we just go to that area where the tech don't work?" Celtic spoke up. "I mean that means the anti-magic barriers won't work there? We can get Navi up to tip top shape." Celtic looked to Autum.
Zelda looked to Celtic and then to Navi. The girl looked ok, maybe a little sick, but why would the anti-magic barriers bother her? Was she a powerful mage? "If she draws her powers from the planet like most magical beings, it wouldn't be helpful for her. That area, yes it was most of the small magical life thrives, but barely. Hyrule's magical essence is dying… Anyone who could once use magic, we can't any more. Even in that area we can't." Zelda looked to Celtic and then away.
"Do you know where the generators for these antimagic barriers are?" Autum spoke up. It was clear this group was afraid of magic, which they should be. A lot of tech can't deal with it, meaning this might give them an edge if they can get some of the mages here their power back.
"The blue markers on the map. They had one in each of the major cities they control." Ganondorf explained as he pointed to each of them. "So taking down the leaders, will lead to us being able to take them out. But even taking down some of the barriers will start to help allow your planet to heal." Autum looked to Zelda.
Zelda smiled. She was grateful for this group. It seemed the goddesses led the hero to the right people they needed to save Hyrule. What more they seemed like they wanted to help Hyrule itself, not just it's people.
Autum walked away from the table up to a wall looking at it. She was trying to go through her head of everything. It was clear the mountains were the way to go. This group also sounded like they had their own ways of intel, meaning they would know if the others made a move from their action. They would clearly know if a barrier went down, so they would need Gorons to be able to defend it.
The issue was where to go from there. Splitting up wouldn't be a good idea. It meant they would have to make sure the places they freed would be able to protect themselves. Also they would need to make sure they could keep the leader from contacting the others and alerting them.
Link looked over at Autum who had walked away. He looked at the map. "After the goron, do you think the Rito would be a good choice to free? They would be able to aid with air support and also help with speed of travel."
Ganondorf looked at the teen. "A lot of the Rito.. can no longer fly. They resisted and how they were dealt with was making sure they could never fly again. Kandin, controls that area, I will make sure she knows the same pain she has caused the Rito." he snapped.
Link looked at the table. He glanced at Navi who covered her mouth. She shook her head some. "That is horrible! What about the faeries couldn't we help?! Couldn't we help heal their wounds!?" she spoke up.
Ganondorf looked at her. The key word in her sentence was 'we' that stood out. "What do you mean we?" He asked her.
Navi's ears went low. Her guess Autum hadn't mentioned she was a faerie for a reason, but here she ruined that. She slowly got up to her feet and stepped away from the table. She bit her lip and she spread out her wings. Over her time being normal size she learned how to fold her wings quite well.
Zelda was in awe, from the sight. She hadn't seen a faerie in years, what more this one was her size. She walked up to Navi, she had so many questions for the young faerie but didn't know where to start.
"I-I.. I can't heal like my sisters here in Hyrule could." Navi spoke up as she looked to Zelda. She could tell the queen had questions. She wasn't sure how much she should say. She still saw the faeries as her sisters. She had many years with them before teaming up with Link. "I.. I was blessed with the ability to teleport to other worlds. It's how I took Link away, to be healed." She explained the best she could. She knew explaining she wasn't from here, but another person brought her here. Seems a little complex to explain as of now. "It's how we got here with no ship…"
"That's amazing." Zelda spoke up as she smiled at Navi. "Though I thought faeries were only small" she laughed a little. "I am grateful that you took him away to help him so many years ago. It seems the goddesses blessed you and brought you and him together for a reason."
Navi went a little red from her comment. "Er.. um..er.. Well I'm only big because of tech.. So I can be small again… but Autum said I shouldn't because of how the anti-magic barrier is effecting me."
Zelda nodded, it seemed two from this group were from Hyrule. She looked to Autum who was looking at the phone she took from Celtic. She wished she had the time and freedom to ask her as well as the man what species they were. She wanted to ask them so much about their world, but it would have to wait till later.
Celtic looked back at Link who was still staring at the same place on the map when he spoke of these Rito. "Link." He spoke up. "When Eznik comes, he will be able to see if we can do it. I'm sure they are a strong species and these guys are idiots so they couldn't take away their flying forever."
Link looked at Celtic and smiled. He nodded it's true they had more advanced healing technology. They have a chance to help and heal the Rito. He looked to Ganondorf who was looking between the two.
"Eznik is a doctor. He has more advanced tech and medicines so he might be able to heal them." Link explained to him. Ganondorf chuckled some. "That sounds wonderful," he smiled to Link.
Celtic got to his feet and walked around the table to get a better view of the map since he was at the end of the table. "Ok, where are we in relation to this map." Celtic looked to the two of them. It was clear Autum was off in her own mid set piecing something together.
Ganondorf pointed to the map and watched Celtic. Celtic looked where they were to the mountains. "It seems a lot of these locations are about the same distance from here?" He looked to Ganondorf who nodded. "The backtracking we might lose time though."
Link looked to Celtic. "Couldn't we take any transportation this Rider has back here? I mean unless they can track it." Celtic nodded. "Sounds like a good plan. I highly doubt they put trackers in their stuff, if they did we can remove it and keep this location hidden." He spoke up as he looked over the map.
"I know Autum won't like it, but after we goto the mountains we should head to the Rito. If this Kandin is that heartless, the longer they are with her the worse off they will be." Celtic suggested. "Unless you can think of another place we should go after that is more urgent?"
Ganondorf shook his head. "It sounds like a good plan from my end." He looked to Zelda who was admiring Navi's wings and making small talk with her. He hadn't seen Zelda with this much fire in her in a while. It seemed this group brought back that hope she needed. He was also grateful she seemed happy talking with Navi, it has been rough over the years, it was nice to see her smile again. It also seemed this group knew what they were going against, which might give them an advantage.
Link looked to the map and hated to ask. "How bad did these anti-magic barriers affect the Kokiri?" He looked up to Ganondorf. He knew they lived off the magic of the forest. "They were merciful to them, they moved them to the forest where tech doesn't work. So they have been trying to help keep the faeries and other magical beings alive. They were lucky, but their forest was not." He explained to them. "Their forest is a large factory that helps build weapons or whatever they want. There is also an anti-magic barrier there as well." he pointed on the map where the forest once was.
"Lucus uses his robots to build everything there. So he doesn't have to worry about getting the locals to work there. So he rules over no one. Also meaning it's harder to get into because of the defense that the technology gives." Ganondorf explained.
Link looked at the map and a man named Lucas controlled the area. "That is where Autum will want to hit over the Rito…" Celtic sighed, he personally rather help the Rito. He didn't like the idea of a flying species having their ability to fly taken. What more it sounded like they tortured them as they did it from how Ganondorf sounded.
Link looked to Celtic and frowned, it was true. Strategically taking this factory would aid a lot in taking down their defenses. He looked to Ganondorf who closed his eyes, clearly torn about it.
"We leave it up." Autum spoke up as she walked to the table. She looked the boys who looked to her. "We free the Rito. I doubt that loss will go unnoticed by the others as she clearly shows her dominance, they will start building weapons or anything they feel will give them the upper hand. Then we can use the gorons to over power the factory and take it over as our own." She suggested. She had been eavesdropping on them as she was trying to figure out the best way to go about everything.
Autum moved next to Link. She wished she had more information on them, but this is the best she had in a short amount of time. "Got a little insight on this ass shats." Looking at the map trying to decide how to go about it. "Rider is their brute force. He isn't afraid of anything. Seems he is also a party person as well. Has quite a few bar bans from his endless parties and destruction."
"Kandin is their connections person. She is the one who hooks them up with all of their jobs. Lucus, he is their tech man, so hacking and using robots" She said as she looked at the map trying to think about each of them what to say. This was the woman who had been torturing the Rito. Who knows if she could fight or more or a watching person.
"As you side Rider is already an outcast, so that should give us the time to get to Kandin. Her and Lucas are more than likely to aid each other. So taking her out, will leave Lucas without anyone to really lean on since he is so far east."
Ganondorf shook his head. "Lucas has an airship he travels by. So he has the speed to get to other locations." He frowned. "He is always doing patrols, so it makes it hard to travel in large groups." They didn't have eyes on Lucas any more, he could fly high enough out of view leaving him an unknown in this.
Autum crossed her arms thinking about the airship. It meant he had the air advantage on them also who knows what scanning tech he had. Also who knows what communications they had between each other. They would have to hope that Rider really did stop all his connections with the others.
What more the moment they start taking them out the harder it would be getting to the target. She had to hope that Rider would be easy and simple. What more that no one gets alerted so the next target would go down just as swiftly.
Autum pointed to the two to the west. "These two are a couple Yina and Balt, so once they figure out the others have been hit they will most likely close off their borders. Yina is a mage, so I don't know if they have something to make sure that she is able to use her magic or not. Also depends on how she pulls her magic as well. As for Balt he is another brute but they say that he will do what is needed to protect Yina. Balt is also the leader of this group as well, meaning he might be the most dangerous."
Ganondorf sighed. "They more or less made a new castle town. They clearly made it seem like a safe haven for people as long as you don't' cross them. So everything there will seem to be normal."
Autum looked at Ganondorf, it meant the people were might be more willing to step in and protect the two. Which the risk of casualties could be high, if they did something too quickly. They would have to take the most planning there to make sure they could sneak in before the city itself knew they were there.
Looking to where Ternad was located. She didn't like the idea that Ganadorf's group didn't have anything on him. There seemed to be just as little information on him. "There's little to nothing about him. Just says he sits on the sidelines and listens to the crew's needs. Meaning who knows what type of issues we will have with him." She explained.
Autum drummed her hand on the table and looked at Ganondorf, Link and then to Zelda. Zelda had walked up with Navi as they started to talk through who each of the people were. There was another issue in all of this. She had a feeling they left out something in all of this. "Does the triforce do anything else? Does it enhance the holder's ability at all?"
The three were quiet, it seemed one was hoping another would answer her. Autum knew the answer was yes, if none of them was speaking up. Also meant they didn't know what these people had been doing with the two pieces that they have, which meant it would be more dangerous.
"We need to know what they do." Autum spoke up. This could be the factor that determines where they would go and the order. This also meant things could get dangerous quickly if the enemy figured that out.
"The triforce of wisdom can enhance one's magical power. Power will give the user enhanced strength. As for courage, it can give some protection for magic. Not much has been discovered about what they can do. A lot depends on the holder." Zelda did the best she could to explain.
"Power was used to transform the user into a beast." Ganondorf spoke up. He looked to Link. "He has courage. We also don't know who has them." He sighed knowing that didn't help much.
"I bet Balt has one and the other to Yina. I bet it would be his way to show he is the leader of the group. She being his wife, he probably would have given it to her as well. Yina being a mage would be able to amplify her ability if she can figure it out. Same goes with Balt." Autum spoke up.
Autum sat down looking at the map. As much as she would like to try to bum rush this, she knew what could happen. She would have to make a choice and plan overnight. Looking at Zelda. "Do you have a place we can stay for the night."
"We can get something together" Zelda spoke as she was trying to think where she could put the group. They had the space just needed to get some things together. She might get a chance to talk with them some and find out where they were from. She glanced at Link. Maybe asked what he had done over the years as well.
"Don't need anything fancy, this room would be fine even. Just grab us a couple blankets and pillows." Autum looked at her. She didn't want to be more of a burden on these people. She knew time of war did make resources scarce. "I will also need all the intel you have collected over the last year" she spoke as she directed the statement to Ganondrof. She assumed he would be the one with the information she wanted..
Link looked at Autum. It seemed they would be staying the night here. He knew they couldn't rush into this, but staying here would be hard. He still was full of guilt. He let out a sigh as she sat down looking at the map.
Navi looked to Zelda and Ganondorf as they headed to the door. She plopped down on the chair next to Link. She rubbed her eyes a little. She was exhausted and wanted to sleep already. Looking at Link she could tell his mind was elsewhere. She wished she had words to help him.
"Anything about how your planet changed as well" Autum spoke up as she looked at Ganondorf and Zelda who walked to the door. She could have Link get caught up on the chances so he might be able to navigate the land. She doubted so much of the landscapes could have changed just the placement of cities.
Ganondorf nodded and walked out. He closed the door not wanting the group to hear his own concerns. "You sure you trust them?" He asked her. He knew this was a big risk. They would be putting all what they had left with them.
Zelda looked at him, she could see the concern. "We have to." She spoke softly. "He is the Hero of Hyrule and still has a triforce piece. We have to trust that the outsiders he brought are true and will help Hyrule. I will get them some things to sleep with. We can keep them in there overnight to see what they do." She suggested.
Ganondorf nodded. "Sounds good. He looked to the guard who was taking post. "You make sure they stay in the room. You report any issues." He instructed the guard. He looked at Zelda and started to walk down the hall to get the requested intel.
