I know this is a short chapter but it's been a while. My city was just recently hit by a major hurricane so we lost electricity and internet for a long time. We're still out. Anyways as always thank you for reading! Any reviews and ideas are welcomed!
Later that night
"It feels so unreal that you're finally my wife" Callie says while cuddling with Arizona
"I know right it's like I need to be pinched because it doesn't feel real at all!" Arizona says snuggling closer into Callie "Ow! What was that for?!"
"You said to pinch you! Now you know it hurts so you're stuck with me" Callie says shrugging
"And I wouldn't want to be stuck with anybody else" Arizona says giving Callie a kiss on her cheek "but I do have a question?"
"Mmm whats that hun?"
"What are we going to do when we leave here? We can't stay here forever and I love my job I don't really want to quit"
"Well to be honest I'm not quite sure. I mean I can't just go back to living like a civilian"
"Why not? If you really don't want to run that business, why can't you do what you love?"
"It's not that simple Ari. I do know that I want a normal life with you. I want the big house with the white picket fence and our kids running around outside maybe even a dog. I'm just not sure how we're going to get there but that is what I want."
"Do you think we can have some chickens too?"
"Chickens?! Seriously Ari?!" Callie says laughing
"Yea I don't know I've always had a thing for them. I'm not really sure why" Arizona says shrugging her shoulders
"Yea sure anything you want honey" Callie says cuddling her as they drift to sleep
Things at Carlos' funeral went pretty smoothly. Well about as smoothly as things can go for a funeral. After the funeral they held a reception at the family house which Callie announced that her and Arizona were married which led them to their current situation inside of the office room.
Callie's mom was never accepting of the news and rarely even spoke or looked at Callie since she came out. So when Callie blurted out to the whole family that she was married to Arizona well that's when Lucia fainted. Which is why Callie, Arizona, Aria and Lucia are now gathered in the office room of the house having a heated discussion.
"Calliope how dare you?! How could you do this?!" Lucia yelled out
"How dare I what?! Be happy?! Do something that i wanted to do tofor once?!" Callie yelled back
"Callie maybe you should calm down" Arizona said rubbing Callie's back
"Do you want to go to hell?! Because you keep this up and that's where you're going?!"
"Really Mama hell? I was raised Catholic I'm not going to hell and if I am then so are you for judgingothers!"
"Callie!" Aria yelled out
"Pssht you know what i'm done with this family!" Callie says throwing her hands up
"What about the life you created here, Calliope?!" Lucia calls out
"My life is with Arizona and that's where I'm going to be. Come on Ari" Callie says grabbing Arizona's hand and walking out the room "oh and I'll be in touchAria on how to sign everything with the mafia over too you"
Back at the Cabin
"Um Cal you wanna talk about what just happened?" Arizona asks
"No not really it's just my usual family and how they are. I'm just sick of it, I've had enough" Callie sighs out
"Calliope it's not nothing babe you just walked away from your whole life"
"So? I finally get to be with you and start living the life I've always wanted with you and be normal again. Sounds pretty good to me" Callie says giving her a smile
"It does sound pretty good huh?" Arizona says smiling back
"You what else sounds good babe?"
"Mmm what's that?" Arizona says as Callie starts to walk closer to her and she notices her eyes getting darker
"We start practicing on making our future kids" callie says pulling her in for a kiss
"Mmm that does sound good! We're gonna need lots of practice Mrs. Robbins-Torres"
"Lets start now then my wife" Callie says
"God I love hearing that" Arizona says
