Walking up to Rider's body, Autum studied it. Bending down she started digging through his pockets. Pulling out his wallet she opened it studying the contents. She smirked as she pulled out a couple of creds and pocketed it.
Moving to his other pocket she pulled out his phone. Messing with the phone she then grabbed his hand using it for the reader on the phone. Dropping his hand she stood up and started to configure the phone so she wouldn't need his hand.
Next issue was him, she then started typing on the phone sending Celtic a text. 'Clean up the mess.' She rather not have some unwanted guest finding Rider's body. She would rather not have anything to make this more complex. She still needed to get rid of the issue outside as well. Looking back at the body she moved the phone to take a picture, she knew the picture would be useful for even more than this plan.
Walking past a few rooms she stopped as she walked over to a bathroom. She knew she needed to get cleaned up if she was going to make negotiations. She didn't want to explain why she was covered in blood. Cleaning herself up she ran through her mind her next plan. The main thing she was hoping for that everyone outside was as stupid as Rider. If it all worked right they would all leave on their own accord.
Heading outside before she put her plan into action, she was going to make sure she didn't have to ride a dam horse any more. Walking out to the city it was just filled with people just partying. She was watching everyone trying to get a read on them, she needed to find the right group with the right tools.
As she roamed she was keeping a head count so then she could try to estimate how many ships there would be as well. That way once she put her plan into action, she would be able to tell how many people left.
Studying the groups, she was having issues finding what she wanted. So far she had counted about twenty-two people, but still none of them had a hoverbike. Pausing as she saw a group sitting next to a ship. A grin went across her face as she finally found her prize, the question was could she get it without causing problems.
They had three hover bikes, one less than what she wanted but this would have to do. Walking up to the group who was sitting at a table drinking. Putting her foot up on the empty chair she looked at them smirking.
"Nice bikes you guys have. I'll pay double what they are worth. Ass of a husband and his friend forgot the hoverbikes. We just got here and didn't want to head out to buy some." Autum spoke up as she pulled out a couple of creds holding them up. "You can check them if you want."
The three looked at each other, debating about the proposition that was offered to them. They chatted it up for a couple minutes before deciding on what they wanted to do. "First I want to make sure your creds arn't fake."
One of them stood up snatching the cards from Autum touching them against their phone. They smirked and looked to the others. They were planning on leaving in a day or so, they could buy better bikes and still have extra money. "Sounds like a deal," he announced.
Autum walked up to the bikes. "Can you unlock them so I can register myself as the owner?" She looked at the man who walked up to her pushing a few things. "Alright do what you need to." Autum nodded as she sat down on it. "They all linked?" looking at him as he nodded, good it made it easier for what she needed to do. What more it meant they could be set on auto-follow her.
Looking through the system, there were a couple of things that the bikes didn't have that she preferred they had. She couldn't complain, she was lucky that someone would sell their bikes. All that mattered was they could get places faster and she didn't have to ride a dam horse. Though the issue was, there were only three of them meaning someone would have to be sharing with Ganondorf. She doubted she could talk to him to stay behind.
Pushing a few more things on the bike the engine started up on all of the bikes. She glanced back at the other two, she had them all linked and set up. Driving off back towards the castle the other two bikes followed after her. She now needed Celtic to do his part in this.
Once she parked in front she pulled out riders phone and sent a message to Celtic. She hoped this went to plan. Getting off her bike, she walked up to the gate looking out to the city. Wanting to keep an eye out on the city when her plan went into action. She needed to know if she needed to clean up anything. Her estimate would be at most fifteen ships if they are larger models meaning people would be part of crews. If there are much more smaller ships could lead so some cleaning up. She was hoping her ruse would be good enough to get people off this planet.
Pulling out her wallet she pulled out her own cred putting in her mouth holding it as she pocketed her wallet. She started to search on the phone. Taking the cred she tapped it against the phone paying for something. She could waste some creds for this plan to work.
Celtic sighed as he looked to his phone. A couple of the girls had sat at the table with him talking. He frowned at the text he had. "What's wrong Celtic?" Celtic smiled walking, "just the wife." he laughed weakly. "Give me a minute." he spoke up as he walked away from the table looking for Ashei.
Making his way over to one of the other tables. Looking at the group he sighed, "Ashei if I could get a moment of your time." He asked her not thrilled with Autum's plan but if it worked it meant no bloodshed which would be the best case scenario.
Ashei looked at him she could tell by his expression, he was a bit uneasy. She got to her feet following him away from the group. "What is it?" She looked at the phone that was handed to her. She noticed there was a message on the screen.
'Find Ashei and give her this message. Get access to the speaker system to the city. They may be drunks, but they will be able to hear hate in your voice. Read the following over it, sound happy. Guess What!? Me and Rider are finally tying the knot and getting married! You know what that means right? More partying, but somewhere fancy! We already have a party suite rented out at Station Kepa in dimension 29d92. We are under Rider's Party Suite there! You all better be there! Most importantly, the bar will be fully stocked!'
Ashei frowned reading the message she needed to read out loud. Looking back at Celtic she let out a small sigh of defeat knowing that if this really was a plan to help take back the city she needed to. "Can I take this with me?" She looked at Celtic who nodded.
Ashei looked back at the phone hating that she would even have to read such a thing. She had no clue what this station was, but her guess it meant that these outsiders would have to leave the planet to go there. Knowing them all they couldn't pass up a party. It concerned her what if they end up at that station and don't find Rider? Would they come back and there will be horrible backlash? She didn't know if they could take a full on attack from all of the outsiders out there.
Looking to Celtic. "How will this keep them from showing back up here? If this really does trick them into leaving." She had to ask, she didn't want worse things to happen to the people here.
Celtic looked at her, it was a good question. He glanced away thinking on how to even explain how Autum would deal with this. These people still didn't have access to the dimensions so they wouldn't know Autum's persona Black Ash. What more the Queen didn't know what a space station was, meaning she wouldn't know either.
Looking back at her. "Autum will leave a threatening message at the station when they there to check in. Where we are from her threats have a lot of leverage as she is a professional assassin, so only idiots who think they stand a chance to get the bounty on her head would dare comeback. Which I highly doubt it, she will more than likely also have in the message a picture of Rider's corpse."
Ashei looked at him trying to take in everything that he had said. She would have to trust them, so far they seemed to know what they were doing. They got in here no issues and dealt with Rider. Autum did also seem to have a very level headed, though seemed to have some conflict with her own group. Nodding she headed out of the room holding the phone, she was going to do whatever it took to help free Hyrule.
Link looked to the lights on the walls as they walked down a long tunnel. "There are only a couple guards out here and they have been informed. They will be able to shut down the gun system that is rigged down here." Impa explained to the group as they walked out to a large opening.
Only tech that seemed to be placed down in the mines was lights and something to refine the precious metal. Everything else seemed to be like the old mines that Link knew, but clearly they have excavated a lot more over the years.
"This way." Impa spoke up as she led them down a smaller tunnel. "You seem to know your way." Ganondorf spoke up, He thought she had been captured a few years back at the castle so he never knew that she got transferred here.
Impa glanced away from him. "He moved me a lot after he figured out that I wasn't one he could control. Had me down here for a while working, but caused too many problems. They have Darja put in a cell back this way." she explained as she tried not to linger on the past. They were getting a chance here and now to save Hyrule. She would do what was needed to save it.
Link followed behind with some distance from the two of them just listening. He rather not be asked anything else about Autum. He was angry with her and her actions. He also didn't want to think about what was going to happen outside with all of those people. Who knows how many of them hadn't even done anything and they could just be killed for being on the planet.
Impa smiled as they walked up to one of the guards who was outside of a door. The guard ran up and hugged Impa. "I'm so happy to see you out of the prison" She smiled and let go of her. Her attention went to the group, her eyes locked on Ganondorf. So what was said on the com links were true. One of the rebel leaders was here.
"This door unlocked?" Ganondorf asked her. When she nodded he opened the door. Walking into it. His heart sank seeing the condition of the leader of the Gorons. He knew that the Rito had horrible things, it seemed all of these outsiders clearly didn't care what happened to the people here.
A large goron was bolted to the wall. Though his wrist it was clear he had been pinned to the wall for a while. Over his elbow were a set of bracket's bolted into the wall. His legs as well as his chest were bracketed to the wall. His body covered in scars some of them looked like they were from gunshots. His head was slumped over and he didn't even look up.
Gritting his teeth he jogged up to Darja. He didn't even know how to help him. "Darja, we are here to free you and your people." Was all he could say as he knew freeing his wrist would be an immense amount of pain. Also they would need some sort of tool to get him free from the brackets.
Darja looked up slowly at the new voice. "The rebels… heh.. Better late than never." he chuckled under his breath. It was clear his health was on the decline he was more or less left to die. The guards did what they could to try to keep him alive, but sometimes he felt it would have been better off just letting him die.
Link stopped at the door, his ears low. He was shaking from the horror he saw from his old friend. Part of him was starting to understand why the guards here seemed happy with Rider's death. This isn't the Hyrule he knew. This wasn't supposed to have happened while he was gone.
He could feel the guilt hit him hard. Even with Zelda saying it was a blessing he was gone, it was hard to see that way. Hyrule and it's people had suffered and maybe if he was here he could have stopped it all.
Navi covered her face. She couldn't watch, she wished Eznik was here. He could fix what had happened right? He could heal Darja's wrist right? Part of her wanted to risk teleporting to get him and all of his medical supplies. Come here and heal the people of Hyrule.
Impa walked up holding a large tool. She looked at the brackets on his legs and knew she would have to start there first. Bending down she put the drill like device on it and started to unscrew the brackets from the wall. "Seems, the old hyrulian still has a spark in her." Darja laughed under his breath looking at her. He remembered seeing her down in the mines. She even had gotten tossed in the cell with him once or twice.
"Ah you know you can't get rid of me." Impa chuckled as she stood up looking at him. One by one she took off the brackets. She knew the next issue would be the bolts in his wrist. She looked back at the guard who walked into the room. She had a large part of bolt cutters.
Impa walked up trading the guard tools, walking back up to him. Looking to the stakes in his arms debating the best path to go about it. "This is going to hurt but for now all we can do is cut you from the wall."
Link snapped out of his stare as there was a loud snap from Impa cutting one of the bolts. He gritted his teeth as Impa cut the other, the sound sent chills down his spine. He had to pull himself together. His eyes trailed to Impa and Ganondorf who helped Dajra set down on the ground.
Forcing himself he walked up. He was trying to even think about what to say. The more he was away part of him had thought about the people he had left. He did have friends here and he never really thought about the impact it would have had with those people. Dajra was one of them, Ollin, Basil, Meinl, and Serina. He just left them not truly considering them his friends, but they were. Here he would have to confront one of them and thanks to him leaving his friend had to suffer by the hands of an outsider.
"One our companions might have something to help. I know we have medicine to help with the pain." Link finally spoke up. He prayed that Celtic or Autum could do something to help him. He was ashamed he dared say he had no friends here.
Dajra looked at Link and a grin went over his face. "You haven't changed at all, not even looks!" he yelled out. He looked to Navi. "Neither have you little one." he laughed, it was clear just knowing the fate of Hyrule had changed had given him much needed boost in his spirits. What more seeing an old friend was a good sight as well.
Link looked down and his ears went low. He didn't know what to say. Wincing as Dajra grabbed his arm pulling him close and hugged him. "It's good to see they didn't get you Link. What more in good health from all of this. I feel you will be able to help save Hyrule." He hugged him tight.
Link closed his eyes trying not to cry. He didn't feel like a hero or even a friend. This all was wrong, he should have come home those years back. It was that choice that could have set into events Hyrules fall.
"It's clear they couldn't break your rock hard spirit!" Navi spoke up hoping to distract Link whatever was running through his mind. She could see him falling and knew that this wasn't a place to do that. They were here to help the Gorons and raise their spirits. She would fight through her own pain to try to keep Link from falling. She jumped off Link's shoulder. She smiled at Dajra.
Dajra laughed as he let go of Link. "Course not! These bastards could only dream to break my spirit!." He bellowed, he looked to Link who turned walking away from them. Navi looked at Dajra and then looked at Link.
"This is all my fault." Link spoke quietly to Navi as his voice cracked. "I was a fool… I should have come home." He slowly walked out of the room. Leaning up against the wall he slid down and covered his face.
Navi flew after him, she couldn't have him fall. "Link… But from what Zelda said, it's better that we had left." "But we don't know that. We don't…" He shook his head. "I should have been here…" he spoke under his breath.
Ganondorf watched Link walk out of the room. He was debating what to do, go after him or not. He looked to Impa who got to her feet. "I'll deal with him. I believe you were here for a reason. So you can discuss your plan with Dajra." She spoke up as she headed out of the room.
Watching her leave Ganondorf sat down on the ground leaning against the wall next to him. "Do you think the other's will fight if they have to?" He asked him, knowing he was asking a lot of Dajra and the other gorons.
"Fight for our home, of course. Though, we are at a tech disadvantage and even weapons." Dajra spoke quietly. "But if you are here, I assume you have a plan." He looked at Ganondorf smirking.
"Yes, Link, he had recruited outsiders to fight on our behalf. They have the same or even better tech than the ones who took over Hyrule. One of them killed Rider without a second thought." He explained, still trying to believe this gave them a chance.
Dajra chuckled. "So the bastard is dead. I promise the others will stand up and do what is needed to take back our city. From there we will do what is needed to take back Hyrule." He explained to Ganondorf.
"That's what I was hoping to hear. For now, it's going to be simple. You will hold down the city. All the outsiders will be gone. So, if anyone shows up here or anything seems off you will contact us. We will do what we can to get back to you guys. We are going to help the Rito. After we hit that up, we are hoping you can lead something to take down the weapons factory." He went through the plan with Dajra.
"Do we get the others now?" Dajra asked him and watched Ganondrof shake his head. "We wait." he spoke as he held up the phone Autum gave him. "We are waiting for a signal to rally the others. It means the plan went well and the outsiders are gone out of the city."
"What type of plan do you have to get all of those people out of the city?" Dajra had to ask. What more it sounded like this rescue group was pretty small. How could they get rid of everyone?
Ganondrof sighed as he looked at the phone. "To be honest I have no clue. The woman who is leading this whole mission just said she would take care of it." He shook his head. He hated being out of the loop and it felt like she planned on keeping it that way. What was worse, it seemed she did it with her group as well.
Navi looked up at Impa who walked out. She rubbed her arm not even sure what to say. She glanced at Link who was buried in his own guilt. Looking at Impa who bent down to be eye level with them.
Impa sighed and could tell this all was hitting him hard. "Whatever reason you weren't here over the years. It was better that way, even as much as you think you could have fixed this you are wrong. These people were ruthless, they came in and ripped everything apart with ease. They had technology we didn't know what it was. You would have been like the rest of us in this war. Instead look, you and the people you brought have almost taken this city back. We have been at war for years and no one has even come close to this. We couldn't even dream of this, we were all scrapping just to survive." She lectured him.
"Everyone keeps saying that, but doesn't feel like that." Link spoke up as he moved his hands. "What if I could have made a difference. Maybe I could have done something!" Link spouted, he had tears running down his cheeks.
Impa shook her head. "Do you think you could have dealt with technology you knew nothing about? Even the most skilled fighters and mages, could do nothing against them. Even if you managed to damage them. Do you think you would have survived that encounter? Someone like you they would have just killed off so they wouldn't have to worry about issues later. You can sit here and have a pity party how you 'might' have made a difference. Just drown away in the what ifs instead of standing up and making a difference. We can save Hyrule without you. " Impa got to her feet.
Impa watched him look at the ground. "You made a choice and you have to live with it. Now you have another choice to make, will you fight with us to save Hyrule?" Impa held out her hand towards him.
Link looked at her hand. He wanted to save Hyrule, but he felt like he was falling. Could he save Hyrule? This was not the battle he knew it should have been. His hand shook as he forced himself to move it. He wanted to save Hyrule, even if they all say it was a blessing he left. It still felt like all of this was his fault. So he could try to make up for it all. He grabbed her hand and winced as she pulled him to his feet.
"It all will get worse from here." Impa spoke up. "The more you fight the more you will see what happened to the people that have survived. You will also see the graveyards of the ones who didn't. Do you believe mentally you are able to do this? Because if you aren't, you will only tear down the effort to save Hyrule."
Navi stayed quiet though all of it. Though part of her wanted to yell at her for being so mean. But she couldn't, who knows what all she or anyone else has been through. She was right, Link needed to decide was he really capable to continue to fight. She knew Autum would say the same thing, but probably meaner.
"I will save Hyrule." Link looked at Impa with determination. He would push over whatever guilt he had to save Hyrule. He winced as Impa patted him on the shoulder. "Good, we need all the help we can get." she spoke as she looked back in the cell at Ganondorf and Dajra. "I want to go with you and the others to hit the cities." She looked at Link.
Link looked at her and then to Navi. Navi smiled weakly and she jumped up flying to Impa. "That would be something you would have to run pass our bitch of a leader, Autum." Navi informed her. She knew Autum didn't even seem happy with Ganondorf and now adding someone else might piss her off more.
Navi looked back at Link. He still looked like he was in shambles even though it was clear he was trying to pick himself up. She knew it still worried him that he left Hyrule and now it looked like all of that worry was really for something. Praying he could pull himself together before they got to Autum. She rather not think of the things she might even say to him.
Impa chuckled and she looked back in the room seeing Ganondorf get to his feet. "Come on Link, you can help me with Dajra." she suggested as she walked into the room.
"Let's go rally the others." Ganondorf spoke up as he walked into the room. He had gotten the signal to go from Autum. It seemed her plan must have worked, though he did want to know what she did. That would have to wait till they were done with their half of the plan.
