Autum darted towards where the first guard was. She swung her blade making a swift and clean kill. She knew now she might be able to get one or two more guards. She knew that their sense of smell would lead them to her, so she needed to be on her guard.
Getting the jump on another she easily disposed of them. She just wasn't expecting another guard to be so close so fast. She gritted her teeth as she was cut in the side by the blade on of the lizalfos.
The smoke in the area had started to dissipate as it was a wide open area. It seemed her cover was almost gone. She swung her blade blocking another attack. She stepped back as she tried to hold her ground. It was clear he had strength over her. Moving her blade she let his slide off of hers and she knew she had to rely on her speed to defeat them.
Kira got to the two with no issues. It was clear the two were on alert from the smoke. "What are you doing kid?" The rito questioned her as he watched her move to the lock mechanism. He watched her use the odd pen device on it. Once he saw the lock hit the ground he pushed up on his pillary to get out.
His blue feathers ruffled as he shook some trying to work the kincks out. He had light blue markings on his feathers, but he was missing feathers and they were no longer pristine. "Who are you working with, the rebel group?" The rito asked her as she made her way to the other pillory.
"No, just an outsider" Kira explained as she started to work on the other pillory. She knew she had to be quick as that smoke wouldn't last that long on top of the plateau. She winced at the lock as it hit the ground.
"Outsider?" The rito spoke as he watched his friend get free of his restraints. What more it seemed there was only one. This didn't make any sense, why would an outsider help them? Maybe she just means someone who isn't from this part of hyrule.
The hyrulian looked at his companion and then to Kira. "Where is this outsider?" He questioned her. He had greying brown hair that was pulled back in a braid. He looked to be in his early 30's. But it was clear that the war was not good for him.
"She is fighting, we need to go!" Kira spoked urgently. "She wants to set off an explosive here." she winced as the rito grabbed her arm pulling her away. "Come on" He spoke up knowing that they shouldn't linger. He looked to the Hyrulian. "Come on Ollin."
"Basil! To your right!" Ollin yelled out as a lizalfos ran up to Basil and Kira. He pulled Kira out of the way of the sword. He let go of Kira getting into a fighter's stance. He needed to protect the girl who just saved them.
"Use this! You need to push the button and be close." Kira spoke up as she held up the small laser tool. She pushed it into his hand.
Basil glanced at the small device. He turned it in his hand feeling for the button. He darted close to the lizalfos using the device on him. He stumbled away as the lizalfos hit the ground. He looked at the cut and then to the device. It was almost no effort to even use it to cut him. He looked at Kira, she must have got it from the outsider.
Ollin looked around and paused, he noticed a woman fighting the lizalfos. Her hair made her stand out easily, clearly not native. He darted towards her, and it seemed the last of the lizalfos had focused here.
Grabbing a blade from one of the fallen he ran up to one who was charging her. Swinging hard into it's back he watched it hit the ground. He looked at Autum who had just cut down another lizalfos.
Autum smirked as she looked at Ollin. "Good seems you are still willing to fight." She looked over to Kira. They were clear. She pulled out a small orb from her belt. "Get ready to cover your ears if they are sensitive." She looked at him as she pushed the top of it, throwing it towards the pillory.
A loud bang went off as the rest of the smoke blew away from the explosion. It was big, but enough to get another distraction. It would give the group the upper hand to clear out the rest of the lizalfos.
Kira watched Basil fight off another lizalfos. She let out a small cry as the explosion went off. She looked up where it was. It was much louder than she expected. Looking to where the pillories once stood, both were gone.
Looking around for Autum, the smoke had cleared up making her easy to spot. She watched Autum strike down the last of the lizalfos with Ollin's help. She grinned and ran up to her. "See I told you I could do it no issues!" She spouted.
Autum looked at the small child and chuckled. Good it seemed everything went smoothly and hopefully the explosion will drag out any more guards. Looking towards the large building where the bitch lives.
Lizalfos were coming out and lining up outside. It seemed they were getting ready for a fight. She would have to hope that Link and the others would have to hurry up. She wasn't sure if she and these other two could hold off that many guards. Her attention went to a speaker as feedback could be heard from it.
"Black Ash, we know you are out there running a ruckus. If you care at all for any of these villagers, then you will turn yourself in. That goes the same for you Basil and Ollin, if you do not, then will we start killing civilians." A raspy voice spoke over the intercom system.
Ollin gritted his teeth. He looked to Autum, he could only assume that she was this Black Ash. The question was she willing to turn herself in for the sake of the people here? He didn't want to risk innocent people getting killed.
"Kira, go." Autum spoke as she looked towards the large group of lizalfos . "Go to my bike and stay hidden. If all goes to hell, leave and go wherever you have been hiding." She looked at Kira who clearly looked upset. "Don't argue. Also I told you I am smarter than this bitch of a queen so don't worry." Looking to Ollin. "Come on you two..." She spoke as she sheathed her blade.
Basil looked at Autum and then to Kira who clearly wasn't listening. He put his hand on her head. "Go little one. You can be our back up later." He bent down holding back the device to her. He watched her take it. "So listen to Black Ash and run off."
Kira looked at him and then to Autum. She nodded and looked at the small pen device she was holding. She shook her head, taking off.
"So you have any plans to get out of this?" Ollin spoke up as he walked up next to Autum as they walked up to the large building. Part of him was surprised that the outsider was willing to turn herself in. Maybe she had some sort of plan.
"I been just the glorified distraction." Autum smirked as she kept her eyes on the lizalfos ahead. She just had to pray that the group inside was going to be fast. She wasn't sure how long her and her little group to hold off all of them. Looked like there were 15 or so. She also didn't have the upper hand on them this time.
Distraction? Ollin eyed her, wondering what that meant. Did she have others here then? He looked to Basil who walked up next to him. He just had to hope this outsider had a plan or they all were going to get executed.
The three stopped in front of the group of guards. Autum pulled out her sword and tossed it to the ground to one of the lizalfos. Pulling out a gun from her back she set it down slowly and kicked it to them. She wanted to show that at the moment she wasn't going to be a problem to them.
Ollin watched Autum as she started to surrender her weapons. He looked to the sword he had snagged and tossed it to the ground. He prayed that him and Basil were putting their hands in the right person.
Basil's eyes locked onto the clear leader of these lizalfos . He was much taller than the rest of them. He was a Dynalfos and he was the 2nd in charge here. The man had a big grin on his face. Basil looked to the other two. If they fight he would be willing to fight alongside them.
"Ah here I thought you would put up a fight Black Ash." The Dynalfos laughed as he walked up behind the guard but stayed on the steps so he could look down at her and the other two. "We will make this simple and execute the three of you here and now. So I recommend each of you g-" Before he could finish there was a loud bang and he screamed out.
Looking at his shoulder he was shot from behind. He turned looking at who dared attack him! An intruder!? He grabbed his blade. "KIll THEM ALL!" he roared out. "Go for civilians!" He ordered them as he ran at who had shot him.
Autum smirked as she pulled into her belt pulling out a small orb. "Move back." she snapped at her two comrades for the fight. She tossed it into the group of guards who had started to run. A loud boom as electricity came out of the device shocking quite a few of the lizalfos.
One the device was done Autum ran for her blade. Grabbing her gun, she knew that she would have to hope her aim was true as she needed to eliminate many as fast as possible. "Get to the ones who are running off to the right." she snipped as she darted after the ones who were making their way to some houses. She had to make sure there wasn't any loss of innocent life. She wouldn't have that on her hands with Link here.
Autum gritted her teeth, they were much quicker if they were running than fighting with their longer legs. She needed something to distract them to be able to catch up. She doubted one of them dying would be good enough. Sheathing her blade she would need to be quick on the shot and accurate. She knew she had limited ammo, she pulled out her gun; she would have to risk it.
"Back all of you!" A familiar voice yelled out. Kira was holding the small device that Autum had given her trying to prevent the lizalfos from going into a house. Kira let out a cry as they rushed her. She swung the small device catching an arm but it wasn't enough to fend off a couple of them. She hit the ground dropping the small pen device. Looking up as one of the lizalfos swung down the blade at her.
Kira screamed out, but the blade never hit. The lizalfos hit the ground, a couple of loud bangs could be heard, followed by thuds. She slowly sat up looking at Autum who had been using both hands to aim her gun at the lizalfos.
Looking back, the family was safe. She smiled weakly, she kept them from getting to the family. Her attention went to Autum who walked up to her. "Um…" She had a feeling she might get yelled at. She looked at Autum who extended out her hand to her. She grabbed Autum's hand getting pulled to her feet.
"If you are going to be in this then I need you again." Autum spoke to Kira. She could tell this child wasn't going to drop it. Instead of letting the girl in trouble she would have to give her something to do." She pointed in the other direction. "Find the other two. Tell them to clear only this plateau. Then head back to the building where the bitch lives" she spoke up. "So fly and get there quickly and try to stay off the ground. Got it?" Autum looked at her.
Kira's eyes lit up. She was going to get to help still! She nodded as she ran away and jumped into the air taking off. She knew this had to be the start of helping everyone here. She was going to be part of it.
Autum watched her fly off. Looking back to the large building with the lizalfos who had started to recover from the electric shock. She pulled out her last explosive she had as she started to walk that way. She would give them all a choice and it was on them to leave or die now.
Basil held his arm as he looked at the lizalfos who were on the ground dead. He looked at Ollin who dropped his blade panting. "You holding up?" Basil asked him.
"You're asking me that? You about got your arm cut off." Ollin chuckled as he walked up to his friend pulling off his shirt. "Come on, your wife would kill me if you lose your arm. She will come from the dam grave for me" Ollin smirked as he started to wrap up his arm using his shirt.
Basil looked up as he saw Kira flying up to them. He was a bit shocked, the girl still had flight wings. "Hey!" Kira hoved near them making sure she didn't touch the ground like Autum said. "Autum said she wants to clear only this plateau!" She informed the two.
The two looked at each other. They would have to trust the outsider. She did get them this far. "See if you can fly ahead and point out any!" Ollin looked at Kira. They needed any advantage that they could get since one of them was injured.
The two chased after Kira as she flew off. They would finish clear up the plateau like Autum said to. They could assume Autum was the same person as they knew as Black Ash.
