Link and Ganondorf had gone down a set of stairs and started to search the next floor. Link ran into a room with his blade drawn, nothing. Running out of the room he looked at Ganondorf who darted into another room. It seemed the two were having no luck in finding Kandin.
Link walked out of the room and sighed, nothing. He looked at Ganondorf who shook his head. The two of them looked at the last room. She had to be in the room. Link followed Ganondorf up to the door.
They both paused as they heard the speaker feedback. They listened to the message that was said. Ganondorf eyed Link. He recognized the rito's name, but the other two he didn't.
Link's ears went low Autum's other persona's name was mentioned. He had to pray that she would turn herself in to make sure no one would get hurt. He looked at Ganondorf as he heard the other two names.
"Er.. Black Ash is Autum's Assassin name" Link explained to him. Watching him nod and turn to the door. Link held his blade tight and he couldn't worry about Autum and the others. He needed to be ready to face the woman behind the door.
Ganondorf opened the door pointing the gun in the room, it was empty. Walking into the room, it was a hanger of some sort. He growled as it seemed she bailed. It was clear some sort of vehicle should have been here. "Damit." Ganondorf snapped.
Link walked up to one of the hanger doors that was still open, he looked out. It was the edge of the plateau, the wind gusted into the room. Link looked out, it seemed she had some sort of flying vehicle. The question was she just gone before they attacked or was she alerted and left? He looked back at Ganondorf.
"We need to tell the other's she isn't here. From there we need to secure the city." Ganondorf spoke as he started to head out of the room. He knew that they needed to find someone who might know where she is.
Celtic stopped as he looked to a speaker as someone started to speak on it. He chuckled as he mentioned Black Ash. At least it seemed she was able to create a good enough distraction. The issue was, seeing all those guards heading towards the front, she might end up outnumbered.
Picking up his pace he headed to the front. He stopped as he watched a large lizard man walk out the front doors where it seemed the others had gone. He pulled out his gun and decided to wait for the moment to fire.
"Ah here I thought you would put up a fight Black Ash." The dynalfos laughed as he walked up behind the guard but stayed on the steps so he could look down at her and the other two.
Celtic watched him as he lost sight of the one that seemed to be incharge. He knew based on what he said, he would have to decide to make a move or not. Celtic moved in a bit closer to make sure he had a shot on him.
When the dynalfos spoke of executing them, he knew he had to go now. He got into position and aimed his gun firing. He gritted his teeth, he missed his head but at least got his shoulder. Celtic watched the dynalfos lock eyes on him as he pulled out his blade. He knew his fight was getting ready to start.
"KIll THEM ALL!" the leader roared out. "Go for civilians!" He ordered them as he turned running at Celtic with his blade ready to kill.
Firing off a few more shots, Celtic took a step back. The dynalfos still was coming, even with him riddled with bullets! Celtic gasped as he was now in melee range of the sword. He swung up his arm taking the blade into his right forearm. He gritted his teeth as he moved the gun up under the jaw of the lizard man and fired a shot.
The dynalfos hit the ground as well as his blade. Celtic took a step back as he looked at his foe on the ground. He looked at his arm knowing Autum was going to have a fit. They had limited supplies and he was sure that the attack tore right through his muscle in his arm.
Bending down next to the dead he set his gun on the ground. Ripping off part of the dead's tunic. Using it he wrapped his arm to stop the bleeding. Grabbing his gun he knew he needed to go help out with whatever mess Autum had caused outside.
Pushing himself to his feet and charged ahead outside. Looking around he saw a group of the lizalfos on the ground. Clearly something Autum had done. He took note of the small sphere in the ground. Looking around, no sign of her, his guess she ran after anyone she missed to clean up. So he would wait here till any of them started to wake.
Celtic slowly used his other hand to hold the clip as he checked how much ammo he had. His eyes trailed to the lizalfos who started to stir. He knew he needed to stand his ground and lie about how much ammo he had, which was none.
Holding up his gun he aimed it at the one who got up first. "Stay where you are unless you want to end up dead like your leader." Celtic threatened him. He prayed he could hold up a threatening front.
The lizalfos who had got to his feet looked at Celtic. He looked to be much older than the others. He was covered in old battle scars. He slowly reached down, grabbing his blade, watching Celtic's body language. He could tell that the demon was clearly trying fib. It meant that the gun was out of ammo. He glanced at the others who started to get to their feet. They could take him out as a group.
"I'm going to make this all very easy for all of you. Drop your weapons or I'm going to toss another one of those shock orbs and start cu de gras each of you while you lay there unable to do anything." Autum snapped as she walked towards them with her blade in one hand and a small sphere in her other hand.
The lizalfos looked at each other and their focus moved to who seemed to be the oldest of the group who had woken first. Clearly the one who would now have the rank in the group. His eyes locked on Autum debating what to do. The way she held herself it was clear that she was the leader and a fighter. She also already proved she had the resources to fight with tech. He slowly dropped his blade and held up his hand to signal to the others.
Autum watched one by one as they dropped their weapons. She slowly walked up to the one who had taken the leadership role. She sized him up debating on how she wanted to go about this.
"Let the young ones go… they were only following orders of the Dynalfos." He spoke as he looked at Autum. He rather not risk bloodshed of his people, he was sure the ones who weren't hit by the attack were killed by this woman the other two. It was clear that their 'queen' fled, their fight was over here.
"Dynalfos? I assume that was the one who came out here barking orders at everyone? Was he the one below the 'queen' here?" Autum questions him trying to get any information that will aid them in securing the city.
"Yes, the Dynalfos was her 2nd. He was the leader to us all. As in his death I would take over being the elder of the lizalfos. As there are not many of the Dynalfos' left." He spoke calmly trying to give her what she wanted. He knew the odds if he told her everything that they all might live even if they ended up in prisons.
Autum watched him, it was clear he was the one she needed. "As you are now the one in charge, you decide what happens here. I give you two options, one you all become our prisoners and deal with how we please. The second one, is you stay the rest of your people leave this area and go back to your homes before this."
The others started to whisper to each other. It was clear they had their own thoughts about her proposition. "You will all leave." The eldest spoke as he looked at them. "Leave your blades and show no threat. Had back to the caves." he instructed them.
Celtic kept his gun locked on the 'leader' of the group as they all started to leave. It seems Autum was taking the route with the least amount of death, which was good. He wasn't sure why she wanted to keep one of them though.
Autum kept her eyes locked on the new leader as the others started to walk off. She slowly put the sphere up. It seemed her bluff worked, she rather not use the last explosive she had. She pointed her blade at him.
"I assume we have your word that they won't be harmed as long as they stay away from here?" The new leader spoke up as he watched Autum. Watching her nod, he looked to the group as they started to run off. He knew there were others on the other plateaus. He wasn't sure about their safety, but he wasn't the one running this show.
Autum knew with the group cleaning up might take action seeing a large group running. "Celtic" She looked at her husband. "Follow the group and make sure they make it off of this plateau. I have three who are cleaning up. Tell them that you are working with me and not to harm the group." she yelled at him.
Celtic nodded as he ran after the group. He kept his injured arm out of sight. He didn't need Autum's mind on him. He would rather have her mind on whatever play she was doing right now.
"You will come with me" Autum snipped. "So turn and walk inside the building." She commanded him. She needed to get her plan into action. It would make everything much easier to secure this city.
"If I may ask, where are you taking me?" The lizalfos questioned her as he walked up the stairs. He was still trying to figure out a way to get the rest of the lizalfos safe. If it could cost his life he would do it.
"To the communication room. I want to use the speaker system." Autum explained as she followed the lizalfos. They walked into the building and he paused looking at the dead Dynalfos. It seemed the other outsider did kill him. He glanced back at Autum who clearly didn't move her gaze off of him.
Slowly they made their way into a small communication room. There were screens everywhere. She pointed at the chair. "Sit." She spoke as she grabbed a mic sitting it infront of him as he sat down.
The lizalfos looked at the mic and then to her as she sheathed her blade. She could tell by his demeanor that he wasn't going to cause issues. "I will make this simple. You do what I tell you, you will be leaving with the others. You clearly care about your people more than your fake queen." Autum looked at the screens.
"So, this is your chance to save the other lizalfos who are still here. Tell the others who are on the other plateaus to leave. Make sure they do no harm to any of the rito who are here as well. Inform them that the Dynalfos is dead as well as the queen." Autum instructed him.
Link and Ganondorf walked down the hall heading to the front. They knew that where Celtic had headed off to. Link's ears perked as he heard the speaker tune up again. He listened as a gravelly voice spoke up.
"This is Uncar, we are surrendering the city. Lay down your weapons and leave. Darkaus and the Queen are dead. I repeat we are surrendering, leave now to keep your lives." The voice announced to the city.
Link looked back at Ganondorf. "The queen?" His ears went low, not sure what was meant by that. "It's what they called her here. Means Autum or Celtic found her come on." Ganondrof picked up the pace.
The two stopped seeing the dead dynalfos, Darkaus, on the ground. Link looked at the bullet wound in the head. It was clear Autum or Celtic did this. His ears went up, he was sure he could hear Autum. He walked up to a door and slowly opened it with his blade ready.
Autum looked back at Link as he opened the door. She studied him, he didn't look shaken up, did it mean they didn't kill her? "Is Ganondorf out there with you?" She questioned him as she looked back at Uncar.
Ganondorf walked up next to Link hearing his name. "I'm here." He spoke up looking at the lizalfos who was sitting in front of a mic. "Did you two find her?" She questioned him.
"No, she was gone before we got here. Not sure if it was from you causing a racket or was gone before that." Ganondorf informed her. He wasn't sure how this would affect their plans. Means they needed to prepare for her return.
Autum looked at the screens debating on a plan. "You will stay here and keep an eye on the cams." She pointed at the screens. "The lizalfos should be headed off. If there are issues, announce over the intercom system. Celtic and two others will be able to help out." She instructed Ganondorf. As she pointed to a screen. "Keep an eye out for the bitch to return as well."
"What about yourself?" Ganondorf questioned her. He watched her tell Uncar to get to his feet. "We will be turning off the anti-magic barrier." Autum explained as she looked at Ganondorf. "Link, walk with us."
Uncar looked at the two who came in. He recognized both of them, though, one didn't seem like he had aged. It was odd, he shook his head walking out of the room. He looked back at Autum who followed him.
Looking at Uncar. "You said you know where the barrier is?" He nodded to Autum. "We need to head outside. There is a hatch that leads inside of the plateau." he explained to the two of them. Autum gestured for him to lead the way.
Following Uncar outside she looked to Link. "Go to Navi and wait for my text. I'll inform you when it is safe for you two to come here. Grab a bike to get there faster. Shouldn't take us too long."
Autum watched him run off and she walked next to Uncar. "Do you know if the queen left?" She asked him. She hoped that Celtic didn't kill the only person who would have known, but it was worth a shot asking.
"She left before you freed the two prisoners. She put Darkaus incharge." Uncar explained as they walked around the building. Walking up to a hatch he pulled it open, looking at her. He assumed he needed to go first. He started to climb down the ladder.
"Do you know where she went? And how common is it for her to leave?" Autum questioned him as she bent down looking down the hatch as he climbed down it.
"It's rare for her to leave, especially with people to execute. She might have gone to one of the other cities. That is where she usually goes." Uncar got off the ladder looking up at her.
They knew she was Black Ash, ment they must have eyes at Rider's place. That means she must have spooked her great. This would mean the rest of this group would be on guard for her attack.
Autum let out a sigh as she started to climb down. Once she hit the bottom she looked at the large machine. No guards, it seems they trusted no one to come down, or the guards had left. Walking up to the machine's control panel. She looked at him. "You know how to shut it down?"
Watching him shake his head she pulled out Navi's phone.
Looking at the messages and missed calls. She slowly typed something as she glanced at Uncar to make sure he wasn't trying anything. She texted back, Kandin fleed, look for an anti-magic barrier and destroy it.
Setting the phone on the control panel sne pushed a couple buttons on the phone. "Sync up." She spoke as she started to type on the control panel. Glancing at Uncar who clearly was watching her.
After a couple of minutes the machine started to shut down. Grabbing her phone she typed on it. Looking up at him. "Come on.. You first." Autum nodded to the ladder. "We will do a sweep of the city to make sure it's clear of your people and then you can head out."
Uncar studied her. "Why? Why are you just letting us go? What more, why is an outsider like you now fighting to stop the other outsiders?" He had to ask her. It was bothering him, he knew she might not answer, but at least he had asked. He was hoping he had answers to bring home.
Autum pocketed the phone as she sighed. "There has been enough bloodshed here in Hyrule. Maybe after these outsiders have been removed, you kind can find a peaceful way to live here. As for why I am doing this? You can blame the hero of Hyrule, he recruited me." She simply stated.
It seemed her words were enough as she watched Uncar head to the ladder. She followed after him knowing they needed to make sure that the city was cleared.
