Arizona's Pov

After my surgery I went to the chief's office to give my letter. I can do this.. no I have to do this! I knocked at the chief's door and after I heard a muffled "come in" I opened the the door and went sat down in front of Chief Webber

"Dr. Robbins what can I do for you?" Dr. Webber said lifting his head from his paperworks

"Umm, I.. I'm just here to give you these." I gave him the letter that has been sitting on my lab coat pocket. He looked confused so I added "That's my resignation letter effective after I finish my shift for today. I will not be going here tomorrow or any day in the future. I already cleaned my office yesterday so that the next chief of pediatrics can be easily settled in. If you're thinking that my resignation is too sudden then don't I have been thinking to do this 6 days ago… I think you should put Dr. Karev in for chief of Peds because he already know how things work in that department. I trained him so I know that he will do a great job if you put him in my position. I already finished all my my scheduled surgeries and all the pending surgeries Dr. Karev can easily handle those so you don't have to worry chief." I said Dr Webber looks at me straight in the eye like I'm a 5 year old kid so I quickly tore my eyes from his eyes

"Dr. Robbins. Are you sure? I heard what happened and I think that this is not a big reason why you should resign."

"With all due respect Chief Webber. My feelings, the way I think, and the way I act is completely different from yours. You may handle this situation differently but I'm not you. Though I completely understand and respect your concern and opinions but we are two different people. I think I don't need to explain that to you sir."

"Okay, I understand but let me think about accepting your resignation letter Dr. Robbins this is quite a news for me."

"Chief, you have to accept it now because tomorrow I will not be coming to work anymore. I already made my decision all you have to do is accept the decision I have made" He nodded and with that I went to the door and before I open it I looked and Chief Webber and said "Chief, thank you for the opportunity that you have given me to work with you and for you."

"It's an honor working with you Dr. Robbins." I opened the door and the last person I want to see is standing in front of me.

AN: I know most of the chapters that I have written is pretty short and I'm sorry about that. I already finish the story so you guys don't have to worry about me not finishing it. I'll just have to update every know and then. Btw, I bend the story my way because of my imagination. I like Chief Webber more than Chief Hunt so I put Richard as the Chief of Surgery.

Ps. This story was suppose to be a One-Shot kind of story but It turns out having more than 10 chapters.
