Callie's Pov
My mind won't function right now all I could think about is how much I need Arizona. How much I love her. And How I need my wife to come back and to come home to me.
"Any news yet?" Alex said. I shake my head from side to side then he sat down in front of us. My eyes flew to his face to his hands it's bleeding..
"Alex, what did you do? Why are your fist are bleeding?" I asked worried about what Alex has done to the perpetrator. He didn't killed him right?
"I smacked him and pinned him to the wall. And don't worry he's still alive I didn't killed him.. yet… Arizona will beat the crap out of me if that happens." Alex lips formed a little smile while talking about Arizona which makes me smile too
"She's going to be fine she's not going to be rolling anytime soon or ever… opps. But she's a fighter she's strong" Cristina said sheepishly I nodded in agreement
"Do you guys need anything? Coffee?" April said. Somehow April became my wife's best friend and I'm grateful for her. All of us nodded so April went outside to get the coffees.
Its been hours since Arizona entered the OR and no one has came out yet to update us about Arizona's situation
"Callie." Owen suddenly enters the waiting scrub cap on his hand.
"Owen, is she okay? Where is she? Did you already put her in the ICU? Y-you fixed her right?" I said quickly said
"Calm down Callie," CALM DOWN!? FUCK MY WIFE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AND NEEDED SURGERY AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?! I looked at him straight in the eye telling me to cut the crap and tell me what happened in the OR "Okay. She's fine. There has been some complications during the surgery but she's fine now. I already told the nurses to admit her to the ICU so that she can be monitored closely. 702 that's her room. Now, you are the only person allowed inside the room because you're the wife. We all know this protocol. She has brain bleeds but Derek said that we don't have to worry about that. I had Carlson fix her broken bones because he's the second best and I know you trust him, she dislocated her left shoulders and broke 2 of her ribs and one of the broken rib poked a hole into her lungs but it's been taken care of. There are a lot of bruises in her body especially her left side. Her spleen ruptured but Dr Bailey already fixed it. Her stump is bruised badly because the paramedic said that her prosthetic somehow got jammed in the car and she sprained her right ankle. Avery stitched the cuts in her face and in her arm. I believe that she'll make a full recovery from this accident."
"Oh god. Tell me again that she's going to be okay." I told Owen
"Callie she's going to be OKAY she just needs to wake up." Owen said while holding both of my shoulders
"Thank you thank you thank you" I fall into his arm and he pats my back to tell me that everything's okay
"Don't thank me Callie, before I put Arizona under anesthesia she demanded that I fix her so she can come home to you and Sofia." Own pushed my slowly so that he can look at my eyes he smiled and said "Go Callie, she's waiting for you"
After hearing Owen said that I walked out in the waiting room to go to Arizona's room. Alex followed me. I stood behind the door for a minute to calm my nerves down. I opened the door a saw my wife looking so weak and vulnerable right now.
"Oh honey, you're going to be okay. I'm going to be right here beside you. I love you Arizona more that you'll ever know so… come home to me." I sat on her right side so that I could avoid most of the injuries right now then I pressed my lips into Arizona's her lips feel like coming home… home.
