Hello readers! I don't own anything except for my OC's. On with the story!
As a reminder of how Spin the Bottle: Rouge Edition is played:
1. You spin the bottle until it lands on someone
2. You pick a card to decide where on the person you have to kiss
3. You roll the dice to see how long the kiss lasts
Everyone sits in a circle as Rouge places the bottle, cards, and dice in the middle. Fear runs through everyone's faces as Rouge sighs.
"Well, since it's my game creation I guess I will go first" Rouge suggests as she spins the bottle and it lands on Cream. She has Shadow hold the cards face down as she draws and it said cheek. As she moves to grab the dice, she adds another rule, "If one of the dice rolls out of the circle, it doesn't count". She rolls the dice as one had a 3 and the other rolls out the circle. "So this is how its play: I have to kiss Cream's cheek for 3 seconds. After I do that, the person that the bottle lands on will have to go. C'mere Cream" Rouge says as she motions Cream to her. She kisses her cheek for 3 seconds as they both laugh at each other. Cream slides back to her spot next to Amy as she spins the bottle.
As the bottle slowly stop moving, Sonic and Knuckles kept coughing towards Tails as Shadow shakes his head. None of the girls caught on until the bottle lands on Tails. Tails' cheeks tainted pink as Amy offers to hold the cards up for Cream as she draws lips. Everyone starts to 'ooo' at each other as Cream moves toward Tails. Sonic moves behind Tails as Tails towards Cream. Cream leans up and kisses Tails on the lips as everyone awww. Rouge especially as she notices that Cream didn't roll the dice. They separated a couple of seconds later as everyone is staring and giggling at them.
"I believe our little girl Cream been wanting to do this for a while, wouldn't you say Sonic?" Rouge asks as Sonic playfully nods his head.
"Seems you were a little too excited to even roll the dice to see for how long you have to kiss for, but it was just so cute that we didn't want to interrupt," Sonic says as everyone realizes that she didn't roll the dice. Cream moves back to her spot as Tails, red in his muzzle, spins the bottle. Anticipation is in everyone's faces as the bottle lands on Bunnie. Sally giggles as she holds up the cards for Tails as he draws forehead. As he tosses the dice in his hands, Bunnie looks at the card and comments, "So formal". This time, Tails rolls the dice and got a total of 4. Tails move over to Bunnie, stand on knees and kisses Bunnie's forehead.
"Such a gentleman sugar. Pass me the bottle" Bunnie says as Sally and Sonic giggles.
The game continues until it becomes Sally turn to spin and it lands on Sonic. This time, Tails and Manic teases Sonic as Bunnie teases Sally. She pulls a card and it reads 'kiss'. All the Freedom Fighters snickers at them as Sally rolls the dice and it lands a total of 12. Both of their faces turned red as they both scratch the back of their heads.
"I mean, it's not like this is the first time yall kiss" Tails teases.
"Or be in this predicament" Bunnie adds as Sonic gives her a look that has everyone laughing, except Blaze. Sally moves closer to Sonic as he laughs while shaking his head. Tails, Shadow, Knuckles, Sonia and Manic watches in anticipation as everyone else wonders why. Sally decides to break the ice.
"Is grass green?" Sally says as she smiles as Sonic looks at her and smiles back.
"Is water wet" Sonic replies back as Tail shakes his head at the two of them. They both leaned into each other and kiss. All of the Freedom Fighters awed at them while everyone else stares in amazement.
After 12 seconds passed, they break apart, but Sally gives Sonic a quick peck before heading back to her seat. Tails and Shadow teases Sonic from both ends as Sonic spins the bottle, trying to ignore them and any other wandering eyes. When the bottle lands on Amy, Sonic knew that today is not his day. Rouge smoothly fly over to him as he picks a card and didn't bother to look at it. He grabs the dice and roll as it gives him a lucky number 7. He motions Amy towards him as she nervously scratches her ear.
"You're not going to look at it?"
"No, because I don't trust Rouge's hand, but you can look and tell me where" Sonic replies as he hands Amy the card. She looks at it and shakes her head as she stares at Rouge.
"What? It's my edition of the game. I feel like I could put a spin on something" Rouge says as Amy looks back at Sonic.
"Are you going to tell me or are you going to lead?" Sonic asks as Amy smiles as she grabs the back of Sonic's head. She shakes her head as she shows him the card for himself as Tails peak over to see and laughs. Amy brings Sonic's face close to her face for their noses are now touching each other. She closes her eyes as their lips touch. She feels a spark between the two as she enjoys his soft, yet warm, lips. She could feel eyes burning the back of her head, but she could guess who exactly it is. Time elapse as she didn't want it to end, but before she could do something, Sonic breaks the kiss. She moves back to her spot with Cream covering half her face, but peaks over to Sonic to see that he is still blushing.
The game continues a couple of minutes longer as it was Knuckles' turn to spin.
"Since everyone has been a good sport-"
"Despite the almost near-death experience I got from Shadow" Sonic interrupts as he rubs his right arm with ice
"Despite that, we are going to make this the final turn. Make this spin a good one Knuckie" Rouge said as he rolls his eyes and spin. As the bottle starts to slow down, anticipating filled almost everyone as it lands on Sonia. Tails and Shadow bust out laughing as Manic and Sonic give each other a look. Knuckles picked up the dice and roll a total of 3. Manic picks up the card and slides over to Knuckles,
"I hope you pick right, I would hate for us to not get along"
Knuckles peek over to Sonic to see that he have the same facial expression as his brother. He pulls a card from his hand and it read 'cheek'.
"I guess that's a good choice, for now," Manic says as he slides back to his spot next to his sister. Sonia slides closer to Knuckles
"Forgive him. I usually only get this from Sonic"
"It's fine, besides, this can make it even now from when we were younger"
Knuckles lean down and kiss Sonia's cheek. Tails and Shadow cheer them on as Sonic and Manic shake their head. Silver is still looking at Amy who is avoiding eye contact with him.
"Well, that was fun. Goodnight everyone" Rotor said as everyone went their separate ways. Silver and Amy is walking back to her house as Silver stops.
"What's wrong?"
"Do you still...have feelings for Sonic?"
"Why would you say that?"
"Well, you didn't even bother to look at the card when it was your turn"
"Because I already knew what it was going to be without looking. If it was anyone but Rouge I would've looked"
"But you showed Sonic"
"His draw not mine. It's just a game Silver"
"I didn't see it like that. Did you realize that every time I went it never landed on you?"
"Yes, but what's interesting that it went back and forth between Blaze, Bunnie, and Rouge. I didn't think much of it"
"So it didn't bother you that we didn't get a chance to kiss?"
"Silver, I think you're really overthinking this. Sure Rouge is sneaky, but I doubt she planned every turn that happened today. Do you think she planned Sonic having to kiss Shadow or Cream kissing Rotor on the cheek?"
"No"
"Then she couldn't have planned us to not kiss. It's just a game of chance and luck"
They continue walking to Amy's house as they see Sonic and Blaze talking nearby. They seem like they just finished an argument as they look over to Silver and Amy. Sonic mumbles something to Blaze as he walks off. Silver looks at Amy as she motions him to go talk to her as she runs after Sonic. She eventually catches up to him as she grabs his arm.
"What happened?"
"She thinks Rouge messed with the game. I told her it may be her edition of the game, but she didn't plan out everyone's move. Then she got mad at the fact that I kissed you and Sal and I told her it was just a game, but she didn't believe me because I was 'cocky' both times"
"Silver and I was just talking about that, but it didn't escalate to how you two were"
"Guess not. At least you two can look each other in the eye"
"I hope so. You two will make up"
"Even if we do, she is still leaving tomorrow to head back to the Sol dimension. Though it would be nice to stay together, I don't think we are with our lifestyles"
"What do you mean?"
"I go with the wind and she has responsibilities as a princess. I went down this road before with Sally and I don't want a repeat of it. I want to be cordial and still friends before the arguments kick in, but what's different is by a whole dimension, not the same city. I like going on different adventures to discover new things, I don't want to make false promises"
"I understand. I've been thinking the same thing with Silver and he's from another time period"
"You two will know. It's getting late and I told Tails I will stay at his place for the night"
"Alright, walk me back?"
"Sure"
As they made it back to Amy's house, they notice that Blaze and Silver are hugging each other. Sonic wave Amy goodnight, but before he took off, Amy kisses his cheek. He smiles at her as he takes off running. Amy smiles back as she walks back into her house.
