A/N: Thank you to everyone who is enjoying the story so far I'm glad you enjoy this 'one of a kind' adventure series. And to answer the Rubble question...you'll sadly have to wait and see. I hope you'll enjoy this action chapter.

Chapter One Part Two: crossing paths….and traps?

???'s POV:

It didn't take long for me to hear the sound of a woman in distress and for some odd reason….I

….had to make sure that they were okay.

"Uhhh, I have to go." I said to the wolf pup before running off towards the screaming.

"Hey! Don't go that way, that's my pack's territory!" The wolf pup shouted, but I was too focused on finding the person who needed help to listen.

I ran until I came across what looked like a crashed dog-sized helicopter and I sniffed the wreckage for a scent until I heard someone.

"Hey, you! Can you please cut the net I'm tangled in? I wasn't able to avoid this trap...hehe." the voice said as I looked and noticed a tan Cockapoo in a pink vest caught within a net.

How the heck did these nets get here in the first place? And how does this dog know how to fly a helicopter? WAIT WHY AM I WOLF!?

I asked to myself, in utter shock upon looking at my reflection on the small chopper, I decided to find out later until then, I was to focused on freeing the Cockapoo, finding the net's ropes and carefully cutting through them with my sharp canine teeth was easy, and I continued munching through them as the net calmly lowered to the ground and I then walked over to the cockapoo and undo the net.

"Ah thank you mister- WOLF!" If not for the tone she said it, you could've seen her look of terror. I could easily smell fear emanating from her, it was obvious that in her life she had seen a wolf, me neither, I was a human, now I'm a wolf, I decided to stay calm and spoke in an unusually calm voice given that my emotions were in turmoil.

"I'm Zach, glad to meet you" I said, trying to hide my emotions and my trembling tone, "If you need I can take you out of this forest"

The tan Cockapoo looks at me confused and bewildered, "wow, you are the first wolf to actually talk to someone rather than attack…..maybe my friend was wrong about your kind…"

Yeesh this friend of hers might have a personal vendetta against wolves...I'll have to be careful if I were ever to meet… Wait, why am I thinking that I was to meet this friend?

I surprisingly guided her out of the forest, even though I was also lost, I guess it is because this is my new home. We said goodbye and I turned into the depths of the forest. I knew that I had a new friend, at least, that's what I thought.

(Here I change POV to Skye)

Skye's POV:

I walked to the Lookout, still afraid of using my wings, I pondered why that wolf had helped me, and apart from Chase saying that wolves were terribly cruel soulless animals that wouldn't hesitate to kill you if they found you, I haven't heard of other things about wolves. I wondered what Chase would say, would he be angry at me? I dismissed the thought and decided to find out later.

It was well past night when I reached the outskirts of Adventure Bay, Zuma was surfing at the beach, which stranged me as it was night, I went to Zuma and watched him break the waves, I continued my route to the lookout, I decided to test my wings and flew back at the lookout, where Chase pointed at me with his lantern. I landed close to him, bracing for impact if, not, when my wings eventually failed, I was hovering just over Chase's head, he was taller now, as he had experienced a growth spurt on his early teens, my jets failed and I fell, Chase was now asking questions like a landslide, where was I all day? Why didn't I return in my helicopter? Why did I smell of wolf? Why was I covered in leaves and sticks? Chase then took me to infirmary, where Marshall checked me and determined I was ok, some bruises that would take some time to heal but I would survive, Chase took in a deep breath and calmed down, for now at least

Zach's POV:

I sigh in relief that I didn't have to meet this friend of hers, but once I was about to turn and leave in the corner of my eye I spotted some wolves heading and headed the same direction the Cockapoo went and started panicking….

WHAT DO I DO!? I can't show my face in the town, they will know I'm a wolf, but I don't want people to get hurt- GAH!

3

I accidentally tripped on an exposed root causing me to fall onto a skateboard and rode all the way to Town Hall. (Yes world, how conveniently, a skateboard out in nowhere)

Ryder's POV:

I sighed while I exited the council meeting that went down today and turned to head home until I saw what looked like a white wolf on a skateboard, which confused me greatly.

Was…..that wolf…..on a skateboard?

I shook my head and followed the wolf and noticed that he was heading towards the lookout while on the skateboard.

…..uh oh…..that's not going to go well….. At least Rubble will have a skateboard pal.

Zach's POV:

I was still screaming from the top of my lungs until I felt something tackled me from the side E3 and into a dark alley pinning me down in the process.

"Well, well, well, if it is the runt who took our prey!" Says what looked like the leader of the small group of wolves.

I growl struggling and squirming to escape the wolf pinning me down before turning my head and my eyes widened seeing a grayish white husky and a golden retriever laying in a cage unconscious. The Husky was starting to send me a surge of memories.

YOUNG PUP! RUN TO THE NORTH POLE, I'LL TRY AND GET TO YOUR PARENTS!

~But...but I can't leave them!

JUST GO!!

"HEY, RUNT! I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!"

I snapped out my regained memory from the wolf pinning me down as I then started to struggle even more to get to the Husky. "Grrr, let me go!!! The husky and her friend don't deserve this!!!"

"HA" the wolf said, looking at me in disgust, "WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO?!" he screamed at me.

"Something you would regret!" I said as my eyes changed from a calm blue to a furious green as I managed to break free and got into a defensive stance in front of the cage.

I never noticed that the Husky woke up and looked at me…"it….it's you…." Those words jerked me from my concentration and anger, my eyes turned blue and I turned my head towards the cage. The wolves took this chance and lunged at me.

I was not prepared for this, his fangs buried deep into my neck, but I didn't let him get the better of me and deal a killing blow. I used my agility to break free from his death bite and while he was preparing for a second attack I lunged at his paws, they were a weak spot and if I could destabilize his back paws his bite would decrease in force a lot. I bit deep into his front right paw. He yelped. Somehow, the taste of blood activated my fighting instincts, my eyes changed from blue to green again. I now fought with ease, just like the blood triggered the hidden fighting skills I had. The wolf recovered from the pain and lunged at me, Again, intent on biting my throat out. I measured how much time I had before that happened. Enough to make a move. I quickly recoiled and left him biting air. I bit his left front paw. He again howled in pain. I looked at the other wolves, they were looking at me with uncertain glances. I bit harder onto their leader's paw and then jerked back. I knew he was bound to attack me again so I backed up towards a trash can I found. The wolf lunged at me, but this time I didn't evade, I caught the trash can lid between my teeth and made a horizontal move.

BANG*

I heard the wolf's head collide with the lid, he stumbled back 2 steps and fell down. His companions, who luckily didn't step in to help glared at me, but knowing that the battle was lost they grabbed the body of their leader and dragged him back to the forest. I looked at them, then I turned towards where the husky was, as I motioned my head to face the cage a sharp pain in my neck made itself noticed, followed by some sticky liquid. My vision instantly blurred and my legs gave way. I collapsed heavily onto my belly and lost consciousness. The last thing I saw before I did so was a young man, maybe 20 years old, running towards me. He was using a red and white vest and a pair of jeans. He reached towards me. Then he pulled a tablet and dialed a number. I closed my eyes, probably for the last time in my life.

But as I drifted off into unconsciousness I heard the following, "Who are you and how do you feel so….familiar?"
