I'm back! I don't own anything else but my OCs. Enjoy the story!
Everyone stared at each other as the incoming texts binged on all of their phones. Their school reunion is next week
Jamie: What are the fucking odds that they send this out right as we were talking about this?
Dragonite: Can I please watch you telling Madoka that she can't come to your school's reunion and that you are leaving her behind?
Ginga: No you can't and I won't even try to mention the reunion. Since when did they go by James instead of Jones?
Nicole: The new headmaster renamed it. Don't you read the newsletters when they come in the mail?
Ginga: I read a little of it, but I never really pay attention to the name. Madoka usually tells me along with a grumbled. How often do they come out?
Jamie: If I remember correctly, there should be one coming out today. That one should be talking about the reunion...
Kyoya: We have to beat the mail!
Dragonite: Huh?
Ryuga: Because if Madoka sees it before you, she will definitely want to come and wonder why you don't want her to
Nicole: Or maybe you can finally tell her about Lily?
Ginga: Kyoya, you drive
And with that, Ginga, Kyoya and Ryuga got up and went outside to Kyoya's car to head to Ginga's mansion. They arrive just as the mail clerk insert some papers and books into the mailbox before pulling off. Ginga hops out of the car and grab the mail and saw the personal invite to the reunion along with the book. It's like she knew on cue that the mail was coming, Madoka came right out the house and was a shock to see the guys
Madoka: Well you saved me a trip, what we get today?
Ginga: Oh you know, Magazines, bills, newspapers
Madoka: Well you guys can come inside if you want, I got bored and started baking
The guys enter the house to the sweet aroma of brownies display on the glass kitchen table. They each took one as Ginga place the mail on the counter, keeping everything about the reunion in his hand
Madoka: Ginga, what are your plans next weekend?
Ginga: Out of town
Madoka: Oh I didn't know, where ya going?
Ginga: Ahhh, just out with friends for a weekend tops
Madoka: That answers who and how long, but not where
Kyoya, whispering to Ryuga, "You think he gonna break?"
Ryuga, whispering back, "I mean, what place could he name that it wouldn't sound awkward"
Madoka: Is it your reunion or something?
Ginga: What made you say that?
Madoka: Karu called and told me that Kyoya got mail about it. I know I didn't like how you guys talked about Jones, or James now, but you were going to keep it from me?
Ginga: I thought if I told you, you would want to come and it's kind of hard telling you no
Kyoya: He sucks as it in lamest terms
Ginga: Anyway, I just didn't know how to tell you that I was heading back to my old school, even though we talked about how bad I hated going there
Madoka: If you don't want me to go, I won't go. I know how much you want to keep your Jones life to yourself
Ginga: It's not that at all, I just knew after the 'situation' you didn't ask or even mention that you wanted to know about Jones so I just never talked about it to you.
Madoka: I know, but I didn't know what to ask
Ryuga: I don't mean to dip, but what exactly do you want to know?
Kyoya: Yea, why don't you have the conversation now and if Ginga can't answer it, we will try to answer it
Madoka: Okay, was it a bad reform school?
Ginga: Reform as in?
Madoka: You know, they send you there to change you...
Ginga: Oh, then not really. It's more or less a 'special' school since they only allow families from certain districts the invitation to apply for the school
Madoka: Okay, why the fake name?
Ginga: That's just something that they did for our year with the last headmaster since there was a lot of troubled students. Fights were common and threats were thrown
Ryuga: Especially death threats
Ginga: So to protect loved ones, people just started making fake names. Hacking into the records wasn't that challenging, as you heard from the prom story, so to protect ourselves
Madoka: Interesting, okay I have one important question, and you don't have to answer it, but is there an ex that you want me to avoid or something?
The guys stayed silent for a few minutes before Ginga eventually open his mouth, but Madoka blocks it with her hand. He removes it
Ginga: It's not really my ex, but it's how I act. I'm a little different at Jones from how I am here
Kyoya: Little as in response and personality
Ryuga: And oblivious
Ginga: ANYWAY, but you remember how Randy, an ass, but how you think we are friends?
Madoka: Good point, but thanks for the clarification
Ginga: Of course
Madoka: The only thing I ask is just to leave an address and a number behind when you leave so I at least know where you are. And also a call when you get to the destination
Ginga: I will, I'll even let you know when I'm heading back
Madoka: Thank you, kind sir
And with that, they kiss follow back Ryuga and Kyoya groaning at the display of affection.
Ryuga: So Kyoya, how you're going to retrieve your invite without having to speak to you know who
Ginga: Yeah, how are you going to do that?
Kyoya: I walk in, grab it off the counter and walk out?
Madoka: And she wants to talk?
Kyoya: I will hear her out, but only if she wants to talk
Ryuga: Can I watch?
Ginga: We are not giving Kyoya the option to say no. We will watch from afar
Kyoya: Not one input or both of you are staying in the car
As they arrive at the apartment complex, Kyoya's head was swarming with many thoughts. If she wanted to talk, would he be ready to listen? Will William be there just chilling on the couch because they decided to get back together? What if she doesn't say anything, what would he do then? Two weeks are slowly approaching and he refuses to make the first move. With the car in park, the men got out of the car and make their way to the apartment he shares with Hikaru. He uses the key to open the room as Ryuga and Ginga head straight to fridge than the couch
Kyoya: I only came here for the mail and yall just want to chill?
Ryuga: You never had a housewarming
Ginga: It's a nice place. She isn't here?
Kyoya: Probably at work or something. Hopefully, Nicole is playing nice
Ginga: Speaking of Nicole, did yall two...
Kyoya: What did I say last night? If you didn't hear it then it didn't happen
Ryuga: You could've muffled her
Kyoya: She not into all of that
Ginga: And you only know this because of experience?
Kyoya: I got the invite and the book, we can go
Ginga: What if she's napping?
Kyoya: And you think I should wake her up IF she's napping?
Ryuga: I mean, it's been a week since you saw her face-to-face. Don't you miss her?
Kyoya: That's not the point. I'm not going to wake her up and deal with any type of-
The door open to reveal an exhausted Hikaru, but she was shocked to see Ryuga and Ginga, but more or less, really shock to see Kyoya
Hikaru: Hey Ryuga, Ginga
Ryuga and Ginga: Hey
Hikaru: Hey Kyoya
Kyoya kept silent before he mutters out a 'hello'. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Ryuga and Ginga made their way to the door with Kyoya following right behind them until Hikaru grabs his arm.
Hikaru: Is this really how it's going to be?
Kyoya, after taking a deep breath: I already told you when I was going to talk to you again
Hikaru: But what if after I tell you that you don't want to be with me?
Kyoya: How about you let me decide if I want to or not
Hikaru: You're right
After a few moments of silence went by between the two, Kyoya remove her hand from his arm and grab the door handle
Kyoya: I know you know that I'm leaving next Friday
Hikaru: Yeah, your reunion that I'm a little shock you're going
Kyoya: Anyway, I was serious about giving you two weeks and one of them have passed. If you really can't be honest with me, then I won't be able to trust you anymore
Hikaru: I know, but
Kyoya: No buts Hikaru, see you round
Kyoya walks out of their apartment to see Ginga and Ryuga against the wall listening in. Kyoya shakes his head, flick them both in neck and head to the car with them. Hikaru paces around the room wondering what to do. She knew she wants to tell him, but she doesn't know how. That's when an idea came to her head. She whips out her cell phone and dials a number
Hikaru: Hey, it's me. I need your help with something. Can you come over? Great! See you then
Well, this is the perfect spot to end the chapter here. My summer vacation is finally here so I will be working on this story and my other story, In the End, so please read both and until next time, R&R!
