Welcome, everyone! These chapters will start to get longer as 2K words may or may not be sufficient enough for what I have entailed for this story. We are not at the halfway point just yet, but believe me, this section of this story will reveal a lot about their lives at Jones and another secret to be revealed. On the Road
The car order is as followed: Kyoya behind the wheel with Ginga riding shotgun, Nicole and Jamie in the middle and Ryuga and Dragonite in the back.
Kyoya: Now I'm trying to maintain the back of my car clean since yall was taking turns trying to insult me
Jamie: I believe I only did that only when I knew that you and Nikki were together
Nicole: And afterward
Ryuga: To my defense, his backseat was my bed at times when I had roommate issues and I was tired of seeing some of your stuff back there
Ginga: Wasn't Randy your roommate?
Ryuga: My point exactly. Having a room to myself was probably the best moment of Jones for me
Dragonite: Sure about that?
Ryuga: Fine, second-best moment
Kyoya: So I was right?
Dragonite: Yes we had sex at Jones whatever, time went by already
Ginga: Speaking of rumors, was Ryuga your first?
Dragonite: Yes, was Lily your first?
Kyoya: And tell the truth this time
Ginga: You won't let that go will you?
Kyoya: Nope, unless you guys want to have honesty hour or something
Jamie: Maybe after Ginga answers the question
Ginga: Then yes, she was
Kyoya: Do Madoka know?
Ginga: She never asked. All she wanted to know was if I was a virgin and I told her no. Did Hikaru know you weren't a virgin?
Kyoya: Yeah, but just like you, I never told her who was my first since she didn't ask
Jamie: Interesting, you think she would've blown up even more?
Ginga/Kyoya: Hell yeah!
Dragonite: So back to the suggestion of honesty hour. I believe we should for the reunion sake of anything that we have done in our past that may come up at the reunion that could either be beneficial or hurtful toward us
Jamie: Well, I heard that Dezzy isn't coming
Kyoya: She texted me saying that since she didn't have the best experience from the short time that she was there, there wouldn't be anyone who would want to see her
Ryuga: Wasn't she friends with H..Sandy
Ginga: I believe so, but I even heard that Hot Sandy might not even make an appearance -Jamie pops him in the neck- Really
Jamie: Yup, I'm your pretend girlfriend until we arrive at the reunion
Kyoya: She's a fighter, listen to what she said
Ginga: Back to honesty hour
Nicole: Well, I heard from Silvy who heard from a couple of other people that Lily will be there
Ryuga: Oh really?
Kyoya: Is there going to be an open bed in our suite?
Ginga: Haha very funny. I don't know what I'm going to do, it's been years since I last spoke to her
Jamie: Well, she did drop out but came back for graduation
Dragonite: I found out the reason why Lily left
Kyoya: Do I need to pull over because if you say something that's out of the box, I can't promise that I won't hit anything
Ryuga: Well if you turn you will be on that open road with barely any traffic
Kyoya: Be ready, in two hours, you will be up here
Dragonite: Well, they said a couple of months after the sophomore ski trip that we finally took our junior year, she was having some stomach problems. But one of her closest friends, I forgot her name
Ginga: Gabby
Dragonite: Yeah her! Well, rumor has that she got pregnant, but dropped out because she was being bullied. A lot of people were trying to guess who was the baby father and she had enough. I heard only Gabby knows the truth because she wasn't showing the little time she was there our senior year
Nicole: I started to suspect that when she didn't dress for Gym, but who wouldn't after the peeping Tom incident
Ryuga: You got quite silent Ginga
Ginga: I'm just thinking about the last day I saw her at Jones. She wanted to tell me something but changed her mind when she saw one of Randy's boys walked by her
Kyoya: Okay, it's a possibility that she got pregnant, but they're also odds to consider. Like what if she didn't keep the baby, or what if she got an abortion?
Ginga: Nobody still shouldn't bother her about her being pregnant or not. That's her personal business and she had the right to tell anyone else or not
Jamie: Defend your baby mama
Ginga: How do you know that I could possibly be the father?
Nicole: Not saying that Kyoya told me every time he had to either sleep in his car or in Ryuga's room, but you were the last person she probably had sex with
Ginga: She was with someone the last part of junior year and the beginning of the senior year
Ryuga: Right, because Ken was the kind of guy who could sleep with Lily
Kyoya: Let's be real, but anything else we need to get off our chest
Jamie: Well, what's the sleeping arrangement since I wasn't in charge of reserving the room
Ryuga: One room has two full-size beds with a connecting bathroom, one bedroom has a king-size bed and the last bedroom only have a full-size bed. There's an additional bathroom, a living room, and a small kitchen
Dragonite: All three of you must have bought the room together
Kyoya: I mean it didn't cost that much
Ginga: By why not make the most of it since I know for a fact I'm not attending all of the alumni events
Nicole: Exactly! Like I'm proud of the next generation of Jones kids to enter, but they won't go through what we went through
Ryuga: I heard the bar on Saturday will be massive since Randy's business will be catering
Kyoya: Randy in charge of alcohol? I might as well drink in my room so I won't regret anything
Jamie: Who you telling! Ever since that one party and he got so many compliments on his drinks, he decided to make a business out of it
Ryuga: Speaking of regrets, Tsubasa wants you and Nikki to watch Silvermist
Nicole: She's grown and can make her own decisions
Ginga: He doesn't want her to get too drunk and well, become flirty Silvy
Dragonite: She's getting drunk right now riding with Randy to this meet n greet
Kyoya: I know I may be a bad person for saying this, but who wants to bet that she's flirting with Randy
Jamie: Terrible
Ginga: 30
Nicole: Really yall
Ryuga: 30
Dragonite: 30
Kyoya: 30 it is. When I pull into this rest stop, we are switching
Kyoya pulls into a rest stop for everyone to stretch out their legs, use the bathroom and stock up more on snacks. Nicole lays against the car as Kyoya joins her from buying more water
Nicole: Who would have guessed that we would return back to Jones
Kyoya: I probably would've come to one reunion and called it a day
Nicole: Oh really
Kyoya: Maybe, depends on if Ginga and Ryuga were coming. This isn't a solo thing
Nicole: Same, I wonder if Matt coming?
Kyoya: Why do you want to know if other guys going to be there?
Nicole: Why does it bother you? I'm single and you're not
Kyoya: Nikki
Nicole: What, you and Hikaru are most likely going to get back together and I'm preparing myself for when that comes
Kyoya: If
Nicole: What do you mean if?
Kyoya: If we get back together, there are some things I have to do and I don't think I would be able to do them
Nicole: One of them has to do with me?
Kyoya: Majority of them do. I get where she's coming from, but I can't just
Nicole: Cut me off completely?
Kyoya: Close enough to it
Nicole: You were happy with her, and if that's what going to make her happy and together, then you should go for it
Kyoya: I have a lot more to lose than she does
Nicole: Kyoya, we promised-
Kyoya: I can't be happy about that. I lose someone that I care about tremendously and all she said she will do is cut off her ex's, be honest with me completely and...
Nicole: And what?
Kyoya: I'll tell you later. I don't want to think about it right now. I just want to enjoy this weekend with my close friends
Nicole: Trust me I understand, but-
Nicole stops midspeech as Kyoya nestles up against her. He wraps his arms around her waist and rests his head on her shoulder with his heading facing her ear as he whispers, "If you keep overthinking, you're just going to give yourself a headache again. Don't worry about the situation and enjoy the fact that we are going to have a drama-free weekend"
Nicole: What about Ginga?
Kyoya, after separating himself from Nicole: If we get there, we will see
Ryuga: Pass me the keys so I can finish the last 2 hours of this journey
Kyoya tosses the keys to Ryuga as everyone gets back in the car. The seating arrangement switches to Ryuga driving with Dragonite upfront, Nicole and Jamie still sitting together while Ginga and Kyoya are in the back. When Ginga saw that Nicole and Jamie are listening to music through headphones, he lightly taps Kyoya's shoulder, tearing his attention away from his phone
Ginga: Okay spill
Kyoya: Where to begin? You want to hear their relationship, why it ended or what we decided to do?
Ginga: I really don't want to know the ins and outs of their relationship, so you can start from why it ended
Kyoya: To make that long story short, basically she overheard some people talking about Jones a year before graduation and mention Ryuga's name in the conversation. She made the assumption of wherever Ryuga went off to, I was possible there as well. They mention that they had a friend there and can't wait for them to return home since they had a lot of things to catch up on. That intentionally sparked something in her that she realizes why she couldn't move forward in her relationship with William because she still had feelings for me. But she wasn't 100% sure, so she created some distance between her and William to her thoughts together
Ginga: Which inevitably led her to break up with William since she knew she couldn't be 100% faithful to him because even hearing about you or where you possible be at can set off some ongoing feelings that she had bottled up
Kyoya: Exactly
Ginga: So, did this eventually led you to talk about you know who and your relationship with that person?
Kyoya: I didn't tell her everything because that's none of her business, but I told her how we got together and what broke us up
Ginga: Did she ask if you went back to said person?
Kyoya: Yes she did
Ginga: Did you tell her you two had-
Kyoya: She didn't want to know for the point that she made afterward of 'I'm too close with my ex', which is true, but it makes her case for if we get back together, I can't be around Nikki
Ginga: Like limit your time or at all?
Kyoya, looking at Nicole before he looks at Ginga: At all. I basically have to pick Hikaru over Nikki
Ginga: Woah, that's...a lot to think about
Kyoya: Which is why we agreed that after the reunion we're going to have a talk. But bro, I don't think I can do it
Ginga: I know what you mean, but I can also see it from her point. She probably suspects that y'all flirted and probably kiss here and there. She feels like, she have to share you with Nikki
Kyoya: I know, but she doesn't have to share me with her. I can put some ground rules on our friendship if that makes her happy, but too much can happen if I cut Nikki off cold turkey
Ginga: Besides losing her for good?
Kyoya: Do you honestly think Jamie will let me live, not to mention still be my friend if I told her I cut Nikki off to make Hikaru happy? Not to mention living in fear of Dragonite chopping my dick off
Ginga: I know, I know bro, but face facts. Hikaru doesn't like how close you and Nikki are. She's jealous of the fact that you two won't have what yall have. In order to be happy, that blockade must be gone or at least diminish enough to the point where she feels safe
Kyoya: Trust me, with her last request, it's going to break my relationship with Nikki
Ginga: What do you mean?
Kyoya: I couldn't tell Nikki this because I knew this will break her, but Hikaru said if we get back together, we have to be engaged by the time she turns 20
Kyoya's phone ding with a text message from Ryuga. Ginga leans over as Kyoya opens the message that reads: You're lucky that Nikki and Jamie are in their own world to hear yall, but Ryuga and I, and yes I'm texting from his phone because I know you would open it, can hear everything and that's some complete bullshit she pulled on you. I get the fact she doesn't like Nikki, but she never going to break my girl's heart like that and neither should you! Love or not, you better tell that blue bitch to set some ground rules with your friendship with Nikki or I'll tell her myself
Kyoya: And this Ginga, no matter how tough I am, Dragonite is the only girl who can share the literal shit out of me
Ginga: Same, well except when Madoka goes through her mood swings. But that is pretty low of her
Kyoya: She only justifies it by saying that we been together for two going on three years and that our relationship was pretty serious before the incident
Ginga: Can you see yourself getting engage to Hikaru?
Kyoya: At first yeah, even when we did cross paths with Nikki, I still wanted to marry her one day, but this whole incident just got me second-guessing
Ginga: Because of you know who?
Kyoya: I still love her, no doubt about it. I want her to be happy, but-
Ginga: Not at the expense of being with you
Kyoya: In the end, I will have to choose one of them. Choosing Hikaru would make Nikki hate me and losing the ability to have children. Choosing Nikki would break Hikaru and throw away the relationship that we tried to build back up
Ginga: You just have to follow your heart
Kyoya: Following my heart will just make my life complicated
Ginga: Well, ask yourself who do you love more?
Kyoya: You and I both know the answer to that, but the result will be bad
Ginga: We will get through it somehow
Kyoya: You still going to stay by my side even though I may end up breaking your best friend heart?
Ginga: Of course. She may be my best friend, but you're my brother. I will stick by you even if your decisions be wack and trust me, they will be. And if Dragonite wasn't upfront, I'm pretty sure he will say the same thing as I did
Kyoya: Thank you really. Not to switch subjects, but let's say Lily will be at the meet n greet tonight, will you approach her?
Ginga: I honestly don't know, that's up to my legs to make the decision
Kyoya: I'm pretty sure you will. I also notice that you're not wearing your wedding ring
Ginga: Before you and Ryuga start, I took off because I don't have time for them to either steal the ring or ask if I'm married
Kyoya: But being married could prevent some women from flirting with you if you are a taken man
Ginga and Kyoya both burst into laughs and tears as everyone turns to look at them strangely.
Ryuga turns into the hotel parking lot, with workers already at the front door ready to help with the luggage. They all pile out of the car and head inside the hotel, with Ryuga and Kyoya heading to the front to check-in. Jamie grabs Ginga's elbow to get his attention
Jamie: Can you explain the hyena laugh that came out of you two mouths in the car?
Ginga: Well, Kyoya realizes that I'm not wearing my wedding ring and I had to remind him that I want no one stealing it
Nicole: I don't understand the laughing yet
Ginga: Kyoya mention how wearing the ring can prevent women from flirting with me. We laugh because we know how some women at Jones still don't care
Dragonite: Do Madoka know you're not wearing your ring?
Ginga: If she looks for the note I left her, she will see that my ring is there
Jamie: At least you left a note behind. I can't believe we are back here for Jones
Dragonite: Me either, but at least it's only the meet n greet tonight. I can not handle anyone at the moment
Ginga: Even Silvy?
Jamie: You two aren't getting along?
Dragonite: If she keeps up what she been doing, no
Nicole: What, she's hanging out with Ryuga too much? They are best friends
Dragonite: We can be on a date, chilling or you know, and she will somehow find a way to get him out the house or she will physically come by herself
Jamie: Wait, she got him to leave you in the middle of-
Dragonite: Not directly in the middle, but when we're done, he musters enough energy to send her a message saying he busy and she will still come over and they leave out
Ginga: Not even I can muster the energy to go out after sex. That must take some reserve energy
Kyoya/Ryuga: What does?
The group turns around to see that they are holding their key cards to their room. All the girls look at Ginga to come up with some excuse to what they were talking about
Ginga: Well, we were discussing if a person can still go out after sex, did they really put their all into it
Kyoya: I don't even want to know how yall got there. Let's just go to our room so I can nap before this event
The gang all gather into the elevator to head to their floor. As they got to their room, Kyoya holds up three room cards and uses one of them to open the room. They look around the room to see that it's even more beautiful than the pictures they had from Kyoya and the description from Ryuga
Jamie: So what is the real room arrangement because I don't know how this is going to work
Kyoya: Well, Ryuga and Dragonite will have the room with the king-size bed
Dragonite: Maybe you and Nikki should take that room
Kyoya/Nicole: Why?!
Jamie: I mean think about it. Ginga and I are not going to share a bed since there's the option with two individual beds in one room
Kyoya: So if that's the case, why can't we have the full-size bed?
Nicole: How about I room with Ginga and you and Kyoya share the bed?
Ginga/Dragonite/Ryuga: Damn!
Kyoya: So now you can't be in a room with me?
Nicole: I feel your girlfriend will be uncomfortable knowing that her boyfriend is sharing a room with another girl for a weekend
Ginga, whispering to Ryuga: Break out the alcohol
Kyoya: She's not my girlfriend one, and two, we have slept in the same bed and not touch each other
Nicole: Then we will gladly accept the king-size room. That way, you can't think of an excuse for why you're touching me
Nicole swypes one of the key cards out of her hand, which is replaced with a beer bottle by Ginga, as she heads into the bedroom. Kyoya gives one to Ginga and Ryuga. He takes a sip
Dragonite: Yall better makeup
Kyoya: All I have to do is breathe and she will get mad at me
Jamie: Look, you got to make her happy. I don't have time for her to act up, you getting jealous and dealing with Silvy all at the same time
Kyoya: And how do I make up with her? Please suggest something that's not sex either
Ryuga: Weren't we talking about how there is that restaurant that the four of yall went after prom?
Kyoya: Yeah, why?
Ginga: Take her there! You can't tonight because we all tired from the ride, but promise her tomorrow you'll take her
Dragonite: But that doesn't mean once she gets happy that an invite for sex
Kyoya groans and shakes his head as he walks to their room, "I'm not even in the mood for sex for your information"
Kyoya enters their room to see Nicole is facing the wall. He walks over to her side, lifts her legs up so he can sit on the bed and rests her legs on his lap.
Nicole: I'm trying to nap
Kyoya: I'll let you nap, but not when you're mad at me. I want to make it up to you
Nicole: If you let me nap, I won't be mad at you
Kyoya: Besides that, guess what I found when Ryuga and I were checking us in?
Nicole: What did you find?
Kyoya: Well, they changed their names to Sweetie's, but basically the restaurant that Ginga and I took you and Jamie for prom
Nicole: OMG! No way you found it, but are you telling me because that's what the six of us are going to do? I warn you, a nap sounds better
Kyoya: I know and no. I'm thinking tomorrow early afternoon I want to take you there myself
Nicole: As friends or?
Kyoya: Whatever you want. I just want to make you happy and not at mad at me this whole weekend
Nicole: That's really sweet of Yoya. I would love that, thank you for really making an effort
Kyoya: For you, I will. You know that
Nicole: I do
Nicole sits up on Kyoya's lap and wraps her arms around his neck to give him a hug. Kyoya returns it as he turns the both of them so they can be laying on the bed, but still hugging. Nikki's phone goes off with a text from the girl's only group chat from Jamie that reads: Did you two make up?
Nikki texts back: Yes, we are good again. We are going to take a nap though
Dragonite texts: Good! That was the plan no matter what, but we just wanted to know yall were good before we doze off. Love you girl and remember, no hickeys
Jamie texts back: Love you much and Dragonite said what she said
Nicole rolls her eyes as she places her and Kyoya's phone on the nightstand. She turns around so her back is against Kyoya's chest so he can hold her closer
Nicole: Goodnight Yoya
Kyoya: Goodnight Nikki
Well, that was a lot to get out! The next chapter will officially be the beginning of the reunion festivities, but it will be a minute before I write that chapter. The plan is to have that done before August, but if not, no later than the first week of August. Until next time R&R
