Leah

The difference was immediately noticeable.

As soon as Leah got near him, he stiffened and was tense. As if he didn't trust himself near her anymore. She had to admit that it was getting tedious.

His guilty conscience and his self-hatred also drained her and what bothered her the most was that his behavior was not alien to her.

The accident with Emily was constantly present in Sam's mind, barely a second they were spared from his remorse and even if Emily has long forgiven him, he still hadn't.

And it was the same with Carlisle.

Not to that extent, of course, but knowing Carlisle, he probably hated himself even more than Sam hated himself.

She could understand him, just the idea that she was doing something like that broke her heart. Nonetheless, his caution and shyness towards her were becoming intolerable. Especially since her attempts were also dismissed with a self pitying look.

When he broke their kiss again and the pain and sadness shone from his golden eyes, her patience finally found its end.

Annoyed, she groaned and leaned her elbow on his stone hard chest.

Carlisle's eyes flickered guiltily over her face and he swallowed. She felt his fear of losing control, every movement hesitant and cautious, as if she was made of china.

But she was a wolf.

She had endured a lot more than he apparently know and suddenly an idea occurred to her.

She grabbed his hand, which was lying next to her and watched as he followed her movement out of the corner of his eye. His hand was cool and hard, the skin so smooth that Leah couldn't help but brush it several times with her thumb. She briefly admired the structure and brought his hand to her mouth. His eyes darkened and she could see how he was about to withdraw again.

Her gaze flickered from his fingers to his eyes and she stared into the fearful dark brown that had slowly spread. His inner conflict was palpable and she tossed all of this aside and bit more or less hard into his hand. A painful gasp hissed from his throat and she felt the velvety skin under her wolf teeth give way a little. It wasn't strong enough to cause serious damage, but her teeth were sharp enough to leave at least a fleeting mark.

She admired her work and he too stared at his hand in shock.

The imprint of her teeth stood out from the pale tone and she found with satisfaction that she could apparently cause any damage as a human - if she wanted to.

"Here. We're even. Are you finally done with your pity party?"

There was no humor in her voice and she stared seriously at him.

Carlisle's gaze wandered from his hand to her face and she had to suppress a laugh as he still looked stunned.

Finally, he wrenched himself out of his shock and his eyes were full of remorse again.

"That's something dif-"

A loud groan echoed across the room and Carlisle closed his mouth.

"Seriously. How much longer are you going to punish yourself for this?"

Carlisle looked at her and he didn't need to say it aloud.

Forever.

She didn't have the time for that.

With one quick movement she straddled him and his hands automatically went to her hips.

His eyes darkened again and again she could see the hesitation in them. She couldn't feel his hands anymore and rolled her eyes. Her upper body sagged and her hands were propped up on his shoulders. His face was only a few inches away from hers and his cool breath rushed over her face. She took a deep breath of his scent and closed her eyes.

"Leah .."

His voice was nothing more than a whisper and she knew how hard he was struggling with himself. But she couldn't go on like this, she needed his closeness, she needed his touch.

She pressed her lips to his and enjoyed the feeling that rushed through her body. He kept perfectly still as she worked on him, and it wasn't until she pressed her hip against his groin that he gasped. Again she felt his hands on her hips as they tried desperately to push her away but it was too late.

She could clearly feel the reaction of his body and immediately felt familiar longing in the middle of her body. She ignored his attempts to distance himself again and pressed even closer to him.

A rumbling groan escaped from his throat and he clenched his hands into fists, his eyes were pressed shut and he struggled desperately with himself. She should probably have stopped, but the feeling she felt in every fiber, the approaching wave of happiness that she felt urged her to continue.

Carlisle

Carlisle had never been drunk in his life, but what he felt now came closest to the feeling described. The weight of Leah, the pressure she exerted and the heat he felt in the middle of his body put him in a frenzy that he hadn't known before.

His fingers made themselves work and even though he ordered them to push her away, they buried themselves in her flesh and he heard a deep moan. The noise was too much for him and he turned his head abruptly away. He opened his mouth to say something sensible, but when she attacked his throat, only a groan came from his throat. He closed his eyes again and took a deep breath.

A mistake, because the scent she was giving off was nothing compared to the one in the cinema. It was more primal, tart and shaped by lust. Their movements became faster and Carlisle himself was caught up in the monster inside him who was exulting.

It wanted to rip her clothes off and finish what he had started a few days ago.

It didn't just want to mark her on the neck, it wanted to make its claim to her finally clear.

Carlisle gasped, the need what he felt and the urge were too much for him and finally he held her hips in a tight grip and brought the movements to a standstill. Her body was glowing and her heart was racing.

"Carlisle, if you stop now, I swear I'll throw you out the window."

Her voice was rough and breathless. Immediately he let go of her hip and noticed with horror that at some point between his embarrassing attempts to keep control he had apparently failed so much that she no longer rubbed against him but the other way around.

She didn't wait for him to continue, but rocked her hips back and forth. Her breathing got faster and faster and Carlisle couldn't tear his gaze away from her.

Suddenly her eyes widened and Carlisle stared into the dark pupils as a scream came from her throat.

He could smell the blood rushing through her body to the core of her body and the muscles that were twitching. Carlisle wasn't an expert, but he was a doctor and knew exactly what it meant.

The monster in him begged, pleaded with him to release it, but Carlisle was too caught up in the sight of her to move or even think about it.

Leah's breaths normalized slowly and a smug grin crept over her face. Carlisle felt the corners of his mouth pull up as well.

Even if he had dared some sexual ventures with Esme, he could not and did not want to compare them.

Back then they had found plenty of excuses why it hadn't worked out, and why they were obviously so different from Rosalie and Emmett or even Jasper and Alice.

But now it was clear.

They just weren't made for each other.

The sight of her was one of the most beautiful things Carlisle had ever seen.

Her cheeks were flushed and her mouth was slightly open, the rapid puffs of breath hissed from her swollen and red lips and her eyes had a sparkle that Carlisle had never noticed before.

He felt happiness rise in himself and also the pride that he was responsible for the sparkle. Carlisle felt his grin slowly become smug and when she leaned down to him again and kissed him wildly, he pressed his lips to hers with at least the same intensity.

"Are you finally done? We want to go to the beach!"

Seth's voice came from the garden and Carlisle was sure that if there was blood in his body he would turn bright red. Leah just sighed and looked at him apologetically. He was disappointed and relieved at the same time.

It would also be a bit risky to put your self-control to the test with such a mammoth task. The room still carried her slightly bitter scent and Carlisle drew in a greedily breath.

He felt the desire grow stronger and gasped when he felt Leah's hungry look on him. His body moved toward her at inhuman speed and pressed her against him.

"Hello?!"

This time they both stopped and Leah shook her head. Carlisle grinned at her and kissed her gently. They still had ages to do it, there was no need to rush everything now.

Not that he didn't want to do exactly that.
