It was Max's second day running the job and he arrived at work bright and early. He did all the set up to make sure things were presentable. He gave the place one last look over and then he opened up.
He paced around the car lot waiting for the first sucker to come by. He started doing a second sweep of the place. He managed to get through resweeping the whole lot. Nobody had stopped by yet so he started polishing some of the cars that needed it.
Max got through polishing up the third car and decided to make sure the sign said open. He walked across the lot to check the sign. Lo and behold it was still spin and set to open so He went back to polishing the stock.
After getting through every car that needed scrubbing he went inside to organize stray files. He manged to track down and sort any loose file in the building and still no suckers. He polished the office windows and not a soul.
Finally when he thought this day was just gonna be eternally boring his alarm went off telling him Roxanne would be stopping by with a couple fresh sandwiches for lunch. 'Hey maybe we will get to hangout after all' Max thought to himself.
"Hi Max. Roxanne needed me to drop this off with you. I've got some errands to run so I'll be heading out. Hope you enjoy." Peej said as he dropped off the sandwiches and true to his word took off.
'Oh well. Guess I'll just have to eat these on my own.' Max thought to himself as he headed off to the office table to eat. He unwrapped the first sandwich and lifted it up to eat it. He took his first bite and right as the taste got good he felt a sharp pain all over his mouth like he bitten into a thousand needles.
In pain he spat out the foul trap to investigate the source of his new found agony. He opened up the now blood stained bread and found a bunch of tiny balls with hooked spikes all over a couple of which had managed to snag some flesh. He quickly dialed up 911.
