Story Start!
She had a date.
Once she was back in Kuoh and school started up, she was going to be able to enjoy a nice date with Naruto. She was in a great mood, embarassed that she was forced to admit that she practiced kissing the Demon God statue, but she was in a great mood. Her parents had been placed in a very uncomfortable position where they were going to be forced to cancel her engagement, so she was a free woman.
She also found her true love!
"So... Zaza... is actually... a guy who used Senjutsu and turned himself to stone?" Yuuto asked her with a confused look. She was telling all of them the story on the train ride back to the human realm, since Naruto was currently going through medical checks with her family doctors to make sure that nothing would be wrong with him going into the human realm after being stone for billions of years.
The smallest member of her peerage, Koneko, perked up when she heard a certain word. She looked suddenly interested in the conversation, since honestly she had not been paying too much attention to the conversation before then.
"Senjutsu?"
"Not the same Senjutsu." Rias confirmed for Koneko. "Well, it's kind of the same Senjutsu, but he turns to stone instead of going mad with power." Rias corrected herself. The two Senjutsus were pretty much the same in many regards, but the fact would remain that the downsides of them were very different as a whole.
It had something to do with the biology of the people who used it, because Naruto apparently knew of Senjutsu users on Earth since he could sense them. Yet he knew that the way they used it was different than the way he used it, at least in practice.
"Ah."
Koneko was still a little uncomfortable, but she didn't let it show too much on her face.
"Naruto is a very nice man, I'll introduce you all to him when he comes to the human realm... after our date of course." Rias had to add that in. She crossed her legs and leaned back, her arms under her boobs as if to show off her body as well as her situation. "Yuuto, you're a guy, what do guys want to do on dates?" Rias asked the only masculine member of her peerage.
She had two men in her peerage, but only a single masculine member. Her other male peerage member was as far away from 'man' as a man could get without being a woman.
"Don't know."
"Helpful." Rias commented, she could take Naruto for a ride in one of her cars. She always wanted to take a boy on a driving date. She was sure that he would find the experience enjoyable, and they could go out of the city or find a nice park to have a picnic in. "Koneko? Any ideas from you?" Rias asked as she looked at the small member of her peerage.
"The mall."
"Actually helpful, thank you." Rias liked that idea as well. A simple date where they would go shopping, no doubt to get Naruto some new clothes. At the moment he was wearing clothes from one of their butlers that was about his size. She was sure her parents would get Naruto more clothes before he went to the human realm, but having clothes picked out by a girl for him would just be a more special experience.
Or he might be like any other guy and just not care that much about what he wore, so long as it was in a color he liked.
-With Naruto-
"So it all started the night I was born."
"Please, take this seriously."
"I am seriously, I was nearly killed like 3 times when I was born. I was told that a guy tried to stab me, blow me up, and then a giant fox tried to stab me." Naruto remembered this story that Kurama told him about his birth. He didn't remember a lot of the details, but he knew enough that he could say that not a lot of good things happened during the night of his birth.
The Therapist had thought that Naruto was joking.
Usually when people said their problems started when they were born, they were joking or trying to mock a therapist.
"O-oh... okay?"
"Yeah, apparently my father summoned the Death God and traded his life away... and my mother was the giant fox host before me, so having it ripped out of her meant she was going to die... so they put the big fox in me after it destroyed a lot of my home place."
"That sounds... terrible."
"My childhood was horrible, everyone hated me... they ignored me... children weren't allowed near me by their parents, and then the kids started to hate me. I was always forced to sit on the swing alone... I have an intense fear of being alone... so I pulled nasty pranks, because people yelling at me was better than them ignoring me when I didn't know why." Naruto could remember how much resentment he had for his own childhood. He didn't remember the people very well, or the places that stuff happened, but some stuff was just so important to him that he could never forget.
The Therapist wasn't even taking notes.
She just looked at Naruto with her jaw slack, her eyes unblinking as she heard the story of his life.
"Who... took care of you?"
"I did, I got monthly money, and I lived in an apartment as soon as I was old enough to walk and talk. When I ran out of money, I would eat whatever I found in the forest nearby... I was often very hungry growing up."
"Nobody... nobody took care of you!?"
"Of course not, I was the demon child." Naruto said that easily enough.
-Hours Later-
"You... you..." The Therapist was CRYING into Naruto's shoulder as she hugged him, unable to take the story of his life. This was her third time breaking down and crying as he recounted the important moments of his life that even he couldn't forget. "How... how are you... how are you so stable... you shouldn't be."
The Therapist had NO clue how such a kind hearted boy could exist after experiencing the kind of life that he had. Humans as a species were naturally evil, and they needed to be taught to be good. Even children with good parents could turn out evil, but this boy had no supervision and nobody to teach him right from wrong, and he still turned out great.
His nature was that of a good person.
He was human, but he was as far away from human as a human could be. His heart was naturally good, sunshine incarnated. Children would lie to get out of trouble, or they would steal things they wanted without a second thought since they didn't know better. This boy didn't steal when he was starving, he went and found his own food. He worked to make his life better, rather than take the easy way and hate everyone around him.
This boy was unatural.
His heart was so big and filled with so much potential to love others, that it even put the Gremory clan she worked for to shame.
"I'm... I'm so sorry... we shouldn't have... what am I even saying?" The Therapist backed away from Naruto in shock. She was about to apologize to Naruto for something she didn't even do, but his story took such a strong hold on her heart that she had felt as if she had actually been guilty of the things that she had been hearing.
A story told by a man with a pure heart, who experienced the story, could move the hearts of others.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure that my troubles just reminded you of the stuff that went wrong in your life. Why don't you sit down and tell me about it?"
-Hours Later-
"-so you don't just want to help people, you project your own issues onto others. You like to listen to other people, because you can project your insecurities onto them and talk to them about their problems, while also feeling better about your own problems." Naruto summarized for the therapist as they laid down on the couch next to him.
She nodded her head.
"Yes... at least... that makes sense to me."
"It won't bring you fulfillment though, if you never stop projecting your problems you won't be able to fix yourself. It's one thing to sympathize your experience with others, but I think you should tackle your problems first... that way you can truly help others." Naruto spoke as he gave his advice on the matter.
She nodded and sat up.
"But how can I do that... my father..."
"Talk to him, tell him how him always training made you feel. How you just never felt like you could compare to him, and how you always felt like you were living in his shadow."
"Right... I'll do that. Yeah, that is what I will do!" The Therapist got up and started to walk towards the door. She opened the door and walked straight out of it, before she turned to Naruto and grabbed his hand with both of hers. "Thank you Naruto, I'm going to go talk with my father!"
Naruto waved her off as she left the office, before he walked over to the couch and laid down.
...
"Back to my teen years... when I was 13... wait a second..." Naruto stopped laying down and sat back up, looking at the empty chair next to him. He realized he was all alone in the room, because the therapist had left to go work out her own issues with her family. "... something is wrong here." Naruto took a moment to think about it.
Did he just therapist his own Therapist?
