A miserable old mister Goof exited his car. He hobbled slowly but with purpose toward the fishing shop. He entered and was greeted by one of the newfangled service robots. He tried and failed to operate the confounded contraption for a little while.
Right when he was about to give up, a cute young redhead employee came up and asked "Welcome to the Rusty Bucket is there anything I can help you with."
"Yes. I need two fishing rods some bait and a bucket." The old dog answered.
"Sure thing I'll be right back with your order." She answered before running off to the back to get those items. She returned with the requested items in short order before asking "Where are you going fishing?"
"I'll be fishing in the backyard with my old man. Thanks for getting me these Roxanne."
"My names not Roxanne but I hope you enjoy." She stated confusedly
"Sorry. You reminded me of my late wife." Max apologized be hobbling out of the store toward his car. When he got in the car he started toward home and began to reminisce about a family he once had. There was Pete whom he'd killed over a stupid car lot. Then PJ and Pistol who had so little after, that they turned to crime. Peg didn't last long after that, cause of death depression. Roxanne died the same day as PJ and Pistol in a pile up they caused during the chase 'I still can't believe that while she was being crushed to death I was cackling.'. Lastly or perhaps Firstly came Goofy who died the same way Max would when he got home.
When Max arrived He opened the door and marched inside. He entered the kitchen and put the bucket to fill in the sink. While the bucket filled up he kissed a picture of Roxanne and said "I'm going bucket fishing with Dad in the backyard. I'll be home soon Roxy.". When the bucket finished filling up Max struggled to lift it out of the sink before dragging it to the backyard to sit between two chairs. On one chair Max placed an old photo of goofy and planted a fishing rod. On the other chair He sat down. He sat and rested there a moment before beginning to bucket fish. Then when the time was right he said "I'm coming home Dad." followed by a "Yaaaaaahooo!" and then a metalic CLANG.
