"Are you sure, Wille?" Tom asked with a little smile and his brown eyes sparkled.
„Yeah." Wille nodded reluctantly and looked away.
School had been very boring. During lunchbreak they talked about going out tonight. Wilhelm was still feeling down, so he agreed to go with them, even if he knew, that this wouldn't cheer him up. It would distract him yes, but what was he thinking? That the love of his life would suddenly appears on the dancefloor, ignoring his title and just running away with him? Life wasn't a fucking fairytale.

It was loud. It was hot. It was crowded. Wilhelm wasn't comfortable in the club. But he tried to ignore that, while listening to Tom telling him some funny story about this girl he met here last weekend.
"Hey Prince, can we get a picture?" Someone said and he suppressed his eye rolling. "Okey, fine." He said quickly and took the selfie with the teenager.
"Woow, Wille. Smile! Life's too short to look so gloomy." His friend Tom told him, appearing with two beers and playfully nudged him.
Wilhelm tried to smile. "Idiot." He nudged his friend back. "Go look for your pretty girl instead of judging me." He took his beer and started drinking.
Tom laughed and shrugged, then looked around searching for the right girl. "Wait! I think that's her!" He exclaimed after searching for a while.
"Go!" Wilhelm said friendly and smiled again.
He watched his friend approaching the pretty brownhaired girl and both started talking.
Well, and now?
What was he supposed to do while waiting for his friend? Dancing? Trying to talk to someone too? He finished his glass pretty fast. Should I get another one?
Maybe not. The last thing he needed was another public mistake.
"Hey."
Wilhelm turned around. He was surprised.
"Hey?" He answered questioningly because he didn't know this guy at all.
"Wilhelm, isn't it?" He was older. Definetly. Something about his appearance was impressive and intimidating. He had short, black hair was very tall and wore a very expensive suit. "My name's Aaron."
Wilhelm still looked confused. "Okey? Nice to meet you. Do you want..." a picture? But the stranger interrupted him.
"...to go somewhere where we can talk?" He asked confidently and smiled with perfect teeth.
"Um, what?" Wilhelm was completely lost.
Aaron giggled. "Because I want to get to know you." He admitted softly and smirked again. "Don't you know the deal, prince?" He teased.
The deal? What the hell was this man talking about? Wilhelm had only met strangers who wanted his picture. Nobody had ever said he wanted to get to know him.
"Um, okey." Wilhelm agreed nervously.
He followed him, his heart beating faster.
They went outside the club, but still in the building, stopping at the stairs, breathing fresh air, coming from the window next to them.
"Are you okey?" Aaron asked carefully.
"Yes." Wilhelm answered defensively and crossed his arms.
"No, but really? You don't look so happy." The stranger answered calmly and frowned.
"I'm just...tired." Wilhelm said evasively.
"...Tired of?" Aaron asked back.
"Tired of having to be perfect. Tired of not being able to have a normal life." Wilhelm blurted out, bitterness in his voice.
The man nodded. "Understandable." He came closer and squeezed shortly Willes shoulder.
"You know, buddy... I can help." He continued, almost whispering and looked at the prince intently.
Wilhelm looked back, feeling his heart beating faster, than before. What does he want from me?
Aaron came closer, touching his face gently, but Wilhelm took a step back. "I'm.." He started, his brain frozen.
"I'm not..." He tried again, shaking his head. "I want to go back, PLEASE!" The first words were hesitant, but not the last sentence. Wilhelm looked at him with narrowed eyes.
Aaron sighed. "I see. You're not ready. Don't worry, Wilhelm. I wouldn't do anything without your consent. I'm not that kind of guy." He shook his head a little disappointed, but then smiled again. "Bye, Wilhelm." And he left.
