"I can't believe I lost so easily!"

"It's fine, he promised to help us." Xenovia stated as she started to get dressed in her change of combat uniform. "... did you catch his name?" Xenovia asked Irina, since it was just now coming to her realization that she had no clue what to call the man who had defeated them and promised to give them aid in their quest.

Both of them were back to back, naked but in the process of getting dressed.

"Don't know, I was out."

"I forgot to ask." Xenovia had been forgetful of what she needed to do. They were surprised when they heard a knock on the doors of the church they were using as a base. Instead of getting dressed, they just threw their robes over their nude bodies and walked towards the door.

They shouldn't be getting guests, the informant they were to meet up with was already dead after all. They had not even reported his death to their higher ups yet, and they had not requested back up to help them.

They opened the door, and Xenovia saw their helper.

Naruto was standing there with 3 Excalbur swords balanced on his shoulder.

"Sup."

"... I said help us, not do it for us." Xenovia realized right then and there that Naruto had gone off by himself and finished their mission for them. She had a lot of questions right now, but she knew that she wasn't going to have to answer them.

"How did you get those from Kokabiel!?"

Because Irina would ask them.

"I found where they were hiding, snuck up behind Kokabiel, and stabbed him in the back of the head. Then I took the swords while his friends were distracted, and now here I am." Naruto stated as he gave the swords over to Irina. He had no use for them, and he had promised to help out where he could.

This was so much easier than he expected.

It was like these weirdos were NOT expecting ninjas to be behind every corner, and when they were in their base that they weren't expecting for somebody to sneak attack them. In the Ninja Era, they abandoned stealth because their enemies were also ninja. Once you were noticed by your fellow ninja, stealth became pointless. Stealth was only ever used to gain the upper hand in battle, but Kokabiel hadn't even been expecting him. Naruto was honestly a little shocked at how well his stealth had worked out.

Just stabbed the man right in the back of the head.

Then he took the swords and left.

"... You snuck up... on the Fallen Angel General... legendary figure from the Bible... and stabbed him in the back of the head." Irina was a little stunned at that. They were planning on fighting him and taking the swords back by force, but their mission was over now. "Who... are you?" Irina had to ask.

Naruto blinked.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, guess I forgot to tell you my name earlier. Anyway, I didn't know if I was suppose to kill his friends so I just left them alive. I can go get Koke's dead body if you need it." Naruto had trouble pronouncing these weird names, so he just shortened it. He didn't know if the corpse was needed to prove he was dead or not, but he remembered where he had left it.

"How... how did you..."

-Flashback-

'There he is... yep... his guard is down...' Naruto thought as he dropped out of the window and into the shadows of the building that the enemies were located in. He could see 3 people, but only 1 of them had black wings. Naruto took a knife that he was borrowing... he stole it... from a nearby convenience store, and he held it reverse grip.

Kokabiel hadn't noticed him.

Nobody had noticed him yet, his steps were completely quiet as he walked up behind Kokabiel, and he raised the knife above his head.

*Thunk*

Kokabiel's eyes rolled up into his head, blood coming out of his nose and eyes as the knife was wedged deep into his skull. Naruto kicked Kokabiel's body into the two men who were shocked by the sudden death, before he rushed across the room and grabbed the blades sitting down. With a smooth motion he put them on his shoulder, and jumped right back out of the window that he entered through.

-Flashback End-

"That about how I did it, I kind of expected him to notice me at the last second... but then again I don't exactly go around with my killing intent." Naruto had no desire to kill Kokabiel, it was just what needed to be done to stop a war. Naruto spent 40 minutes spying on Kokabiel and learning what kind of man the dude was.

The kind with no heart, who only sought violence, murder, and bloodshed. He could kill that kind of man without losing any sleep over it. He didn't desire to kill Kokabiel when he did it, it was just to make the world a better place. Maybe Kokabiel had noticed him in that final second of his life, but it had been too quick for the man to do anything about it.

"Amazing! You're so cool, you're like a real ninja, even if you are wearing orange!?" Irina shouted with stars in her eyes.

Naruto blinked.

"... What does orange have to do with being a ninja?" Naruto had never been made fun of before by another ninja for wearing orange, and most of his friends... from what he could remember, none of them wore colors that would be the stereotype of a ninja. Well, those sneaky guys who worked for the leaders did, but they were special units that did missions behind the scenes. "Are you okay?" Naruto asked Xenovia.

The girl had her hand on her cheek, confused.

"... I did not expect to live through the mission, but the fast Kokabiel had support that are still alive could become a problem. Irina, can I trust you to take the swords back to the Vatican?" Xenovia needed to continue the mission and eliminate all threats. At the same time, they needed to make sure that the swords didn't get captured again.

"I'm not leaving you behind to fight all by yourself, what if they have some secret weapon!"

Xenovia smacked Naruto on the chest with the back of her hand.

"I've got this man with me, I'm sure he will be a good partner. Report that the main goal of the mission is finished, and that we did God's work well."

"Okay... but I don't like it." Irina grabbed the swords, and Xenovia even handed her the sword that she had brought with her. She wasn't going to require the use of it now that the main mission was completed. If she really needed a sword to fight with, she would still have access to her own. It would be better if Irina took all 5 of the swords they had in their possession back with her so they could be safe once more.

"God... bright, sunny aura... has this divine feel to him?"

Naruto was confused.

"Yes, our Lord."

"... But... didn't he die... like hundreds of years ago? I'm pretty sure I felt him die when I was a stone statue." Naruto had felt a divine being get killed hundreds of years ago before he had been taken to the Underworld. He was absolutely sure of it, because he sensed it whenever a divine being died. He knew what the feeling was like, and his statue had been in the European area during that time period.

Xenovia stared at Naruto for a moment.

"... What kind of joke is that?"

"A LONG time ago I was a stone statue, I was unsealed recently... but that God guy, I'm pretty sure he was killed in battle with the strong demon beings I sensed a long time ago-" Naruto was slapped across the face by Xenovia, and she was glaring death at him.

"How DARE you tell a bold faced lie like that!"

Xenovia walked off.

-The Next Afternoon-

"... I apologize for slapping you yesterday."

Xenovia had been kicked out of the Church when, by dumb mistake, she asked for confirmation that Naruto's words had been false. She hadn't even made it passed the airport when she had been told that she was no longer accepted as one of them. So she came back to Japan when they bought a ticket for her, and suggested that she find a place to live where she could be far away from the church.

Naruto's words were true.

"No problem Xen-chan." Naruto sent her a thumbs up and a grin.

"... You're forgiving me for slapping you... because I overreacted... you should slap me back now." Xenovia bowed her head lower, and got ready for a smack.

Naruto looked at her like she was stupid.

"... Uh... no... I said something that really hurt you, and I felt like an asshole as soon as you left. I should have kept my mouth shut... you look like you need something to cheer you up. Want me to ask Rias if she will take you into her peerage? She likes to take in strays." Naruto had heard the stories behind Akeno, Yuuto, Koneko, AND Gasper from Sirzechs already. He didn't know what the story behind Issei and Asia were, but he was absolutely sure that if Xenovia needed a place to call her own, that she could find that place with Rias.

Xenovia looked at Naruto, before she looked down at the ground.

"... Can you?"

She had nowhere to go and no money, her options were extremely limited now.

"Awesome, but she isn't expecting me to arrive to Kuoh until tomorrow, so help me prank her tonight." Naruto still wanted to prank Rias for how she tried to tease him when he was a bar of soap.

Xenovia shook her head.

"I'm not a prankster."

"Okay."

Xenovia looked at Naruto, before she smiled when she saw him grinning at her with a warm, sunshine like grin. He extended his hand out for her to shake, giving her a second chance at friendship that she had expected to have ruined.

She knew Naruto for less than 24 hours.
