Transformers Fall of Cybertron: Joining the Exodus.

Chapter 12: Till All Are One.

(Author's notes: Here we are, folks: the finale of Transformers Fall of Cybertron: Joining the Exodus. Enjoy for the last time, ladies and gentlebots!)

As the Nemesis makes its way through the portal, the Decepticon army discovers the Ark.

Megatron snarls, "What?! They beat us?! And this is the so-called Ark? The Autobots have placed all of their hopes on a glorified cargo hauler merged with a battleship. Soundwave, head to the launching bay and ready the tow cables. You will lead the first wave of the assault."

Soundwave replies, "Yes, Lord Megatron."

Onboard the Ark, Optimus says solemnly to Bumblebee, "We have no choice, Bumblebee. The war is lost. Leaving our home planet of Cybertron is the hardest decision I've ever had the misfortune of having to make. It has indeed been a long, tragic, and painful war with the Decepticons. Whatever we find on the planet Earth is our best and last hope my friend. But first, we must free Aquatron from the Quintessons."

An Autobot Captain announces, "We're approaching the Aquatronian solar system at over nine hundred million light-years. Data indicates the Quintessons are about to be alerted by our presence if the Nemesis catches up."

Another Autobot Captain adds, "At this rate, the Quintessons will shoot both us and the Decepticons out of the sky."

Suddenly, the Nemesis comes into view as it flies overhead.

Corvowing turns up and announces, "All right, Autobots! We've prepared for this! Ready your battle stations!"

A tow cable impacts the front window, nearly taking out the Ark's control panel.

Optimus calls out, "Direct all fire on those tow cables!"

The Autobots fire on the tow cables and both Bumblebee and Corvowing fire on some Decepticon Soldiers.

Corvowing sees another tow cable incoming and jumps out of the way. But Bumblebee isn't so fortunate.

Bumblebee is knocked unconscious as Optimus calls out, "All hands to combat!"

Ratchet revives Bumblebee and states, "Bumblebee? Are you with us? Optimus, Corvowing, he's coming around!"

Corvowing remarks with relief, "Oh, thank Primus!"

Ratchet observes, "He's been through worse. His basic Energon levels are almost normal. His overshields are charging up!"

Optimus puts his servo on Ratchet's shoulder plate reassuringly and checks on the other Autobot troops.

Ratchet deploys a C.L.U.T.C.H helper drone and tells Bumblebee, "I need to test your retinal scanners. Follow the light."

Bumblebee follows the light once, and Ratchet says, "That's it!"

Bumblebee follows the light a second time and Ratchet remarks, "On target!"

Bumblebee follows the light one last time and Ratchet asks, "Looking good. How are your optics?"

Bumblebee answers, "My optics are operational, Ratchet."

Ratchet replies back, "Good news indeed."

Suddenly, Decepticon Soldiers pour in from the window and one of them shouts, "Arms out! Weapons to the deck!"

Ratchet hides the helper drone and calls out, "Don't fire! I'm a medic!"

The same Decepticon Soldier replies, "Slap a muffler on it!"

Ratchet unleashes the helper drone, which explodes like an EMP grenade which blinds the Decepticon troops.

Ratchet calls out, "Take them out, Bumblebee!"

A Decepticon Soldier cries out, "AH! My optics!"

Bumblebee deploys his Neutron Assault Rifle and guns down the six Decepticon Soldiers in rapid succession.

Ratchet uses another drone to give Bumblebee an ammo clip and advises, "Here, take this ammo clip! More Decepticons are trying to board!"

Bumblebee reloads his Neutron Assault Rifle.

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "Decepticons are trying to board the ship!" And another Autobot Soldier calls out, "Defend the bridge!"

After about two minutes, the Autobots defend the bridge of the Ark.

Another Autobot Soldier exclaims, "That's showing them!"

Optimus points out, "Megatron won't give up that easily!"

Corvowing replies, "Yeah, and neither are we gonna give up that easily!"

Ratchet advises, "Teletraan 1, full damage analysis on all decks!"

Teletraan 1 replies, "Firewall breach! Unauthorized access!"

Megatron's faceplate shows up on the screen and he snarls, "Your precious Ark will never reach the target planet, Optimus!"

Teletraan 1 advises, "Shield failure on starboard thruster!"

Megatron finishes his rant, "I will tear your ship apart, piece by piece!"

As the tow cables retract, an Autobot Soldier rushes in and shouts, "Optimus, Corvowing! Decepticons are swarming the engine deck!"

Corvowing replies, "We're on our way, soldier! Bumblebee, stay and cover the bridge!"

Bumblebee replies, "Yes sir!"

Optimus, Corvowing and an Autobot Soldier rush to the exit doors.

As the exit doors close, the lights flicker as Teletraan 1 reports, "Teletraan system failure."

Ratchet exclaims, "No! The entire defense network is down! Without the missile launchers, the pulse cannons and the machine guns, Optimus and Corvowing won't stand a chance! You'll have to reboot the system manually. Take this Moleculon fuse from Teletraan 1 – it should reactivate the service lift."

Bumblebee takes the fuse and Ratchet finishes, "Good hunting, Bumblebee."

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "This way, Bumblebee! We'll take point!"

Bumblebee follows the two Autobot Soldiers, but the one in front of him gets obliterated by an explosion.

Bumblebee continues following the other Autobot Soldier as he jumps over some debris and he asks, "Are you all right? Can you make it over?"

Bumblebee replies, "Yes, I can make it over, soldier!"

Bumblebee jumps over two separate pieces of debris.

As Bumblebee comes across an exit door, it's forced open by a green Autobot Soldier who shouts, "Aghhhh! Hurry! I'll hold it open for you!"

Bumblebee dashes through the door, allowing the Soldier to let it close in relief.

Bumblebee is contacted by Ratchet who advises, "Bumblebee, I've patched into your optics. The service lift is just ahead!"

Suddenly, a tow cable is shown through the windows, getting ready to bust one of the walls open.

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "We've gotta get out of here!"

The tow cable busts through the wall, causing several Autobot Soldiers to get sucked into space as one of them shouts, "No! Grab a hold of something!"

Suddenly, a backup wall is lowered to cover up the hole.

Bumblebee slams onto the ground as Teletraan 1 announces, "Gravity re-established."

Ratchet sneers, "Megatron will pay for that! They're ripping the Ark apart! You'll have to dash in mid-air to get across!"

Bumblebee performs a jump dash to get across the gap.

As he approaches the service lift, Teletraan 1 announces, "Shield failure. Energon capacity depleting. Turbine starvation at sixty-four percent."

Ratchet advises, "Bumblebee, replace the fuse and the lift should reactivate!"

Bumblebee installs the Moleculon fuse and the service lift is brought online.

Ratchet cautions, "It's too close quarters to fire your weapon. You'll have to punch through the safety locks!"

Meanwhile, back on the Nemesis, Soundwave reaches the launching bay and finds the door mechanism jammed by cannon fire, as the Autobots had somehow come prepared for the Decepticons arriving.

Soundwave ejects Rumble and says, "Rumble, eject."

Rumble cries out, "Let's RUMBLE!"

He uses his piledrivers to pound the door out of its hinges.

Rumble returns to Soundwave's chestplate as Soundwave boards the tow cable.

As the tow cable prepares to strike its target, Soundwave jumps through a window to land in a corridor.

In the service lift, Bumblebee punches the safety locks.

Teletraan 1 announces, "Service lift online."

Ratchet praises, "Nice work, Bumblebee!"

As Bumblebee rides the service lift, he sees through a window a Leaper mopping up Autobots as he calls out, "Let's move, Decepticons! Mop these decks!"

An Autobot Soldier cries out, "Leaper's on deck – AGH!"

Another Autobot Soldier calls out, "Soundwave is on Deck Five! AAAGGGHHH!"

Soundwave calls out, "Rumble, create an entrance!"

Ratchet advises over the commlink, "Bumblebee, you're almost to the defense tower! Hurry! Optimus and Corvowing are losing ground!"

Just as Bumblebee is about to cross the hall to the defense tower, a Decepticon Dropship crashing causes the booby-trap flamethrowers to activate, forcing Bumblebee to step back to the service lift.

Ratchet cautions, "Those flames will bubble your paint if you don't haul assets! Sprint through!"

Bumblebee steps back some more and takes off into a full sprint through the flames, slightly bubbling his paint.

Ratchet states, "That Energon will cool your chassis."

Bumblebee spots an Energon cube and infuses it with his frame, completely cooling himself off while repairing his internal damages.

Bumblebee rushes inside as an Autobot Soldier calls out, "In here, Bumblebee! I could use a hand! Decepticons are dropping in from above! Change your shooting hand for better aim and cover!"

Bumblebee helps the Autobot Soldier take out the Decepticon troops while following his advice about changing his shooting hand for better aim and cover.

The Autobot Soldier states, "I'll hold the line! The defense mainframe is just through that door!"

Bumblebee quietly opens the door to see a Decepticon Soldier guarding the controls.

Ratchet cautions, "Easy now... your pulse rifle could melt that whole panel. Think you can rush him from there?"

Bumblebee replies quietly, "I think so."

Bumblebee quietly sprints towards the Decepticon Soldier and rush-attacks him, killing him on impact.

Bumblebee then brings the defenses online.

Ratchet exclaims, "You did it! Pulse and machine gunners! Engine deck! Covering fire!"

The Ark defenses start firing on the Nemesis, preventing it from launching its tow cables.

Ratchet states, "Tactical readout is online! Now, if I can just locate Optimus and Corvowing... There! Optimus is taking Megatron head-on, and Corvowing is taking on some sort of Decepticon Triple Changer head-on!"

A tow cable smashes into the defense tower, taking out the control panel.

But before the tow cable can smash Bumblebee, he jumps down a floor vent to a lower level.

Meanwhile, Soundwave comes across a corridor leading to the area where the munitions for the Ark's defenses happens to be, as evidenced by the door in front of the Decepticon Communicator.

Soundwave deploys Laserbeak and says, "Laserbeak, eject. Carve an entrance."

As Laserbeak cuts through the door, the alarm blares as an Autobot Soldier calls out, "Decepticons have breached the ship!"

Megatron calls out over the commlink, "Autobots! On your right!"

Soundwave deploys the rest of his cassettes: Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat, Enemy, Flip Sides, Beastbox, Squawktalk, Buzzsaw, Garboil, Glit, Howlback, Doombox, Overkill, Slugfest, Sundor, Wingthing, Uriad, Uriaz, and the rest of the Cobalt Sentries.

The Decepticon Mini-Cassettes take care of the legions of Autobots coming in.

As another wave comes in, an Autobot Soldier cries out, "Engage! Cleared hot! Engage!"

Megatron calls out over the commlink again, "Pay attention, Soundwave! You're being attacked from both sides!"

Thankfully for Soundwave, his Mini-Cassettes managed to get the jobs done.

Laserbeak squawks to signify that he's finished.

Soundwave remarks, "Excellent, Laserbeak. Access acquired."

Rumble pounds the door open and the multiple Decepticons enter the munitions room.

Megatron advises over the commlink, "Soundwave, the Ark's defensive cannons and machine guns are taking their toll! Destroy them!"

Soundwave replies, "Yes, Lord Megatron."

Soundwave's minions keep the Autobots busy while Soundwave gets called again by Megatron. The leader of the Decepticons says, "Soundwave, hurry up and destroy those Energon silos!"

Soundwave gets to the first Energon silo and lowers the lever necessary to lower the shielding for the cannon shells.

Soundwave blasts all the shells and advises to his master, "Energon silos located. Commencing sabotage."

Megatron replies, "Affirmative. One cannon has fallen silent."

Soundwave progresses to the next silo, only to see multiple Autobot Snipers – both old and new – pouring into the room.

Soundwave states, "Snipers incoming."

Soundwave fires his Sling Shock Cannon at some of the Snipers before progressing.

Soundwave destroys the next Energon silo.

Soundwave states, "Defense cannons down to fifty percent capacity."

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "They're trying to cut off our air defenses!"

Despite the Autobot troops' best efforts, they were outmatched by Soundwave's Mini-Cassettes.

Soundwave destroys the final Energon silo.

Soundwave states to his master, "Ark defense systems eliminated."

Megatron replies over the commlink, "Excellent, Soundwave! Decepticons! All attack groups are cleared to traverse cables!"

The Nemesis launches all three of its tow cables at three different points of the Ark, allowing several battle groups of Decepticons to board.

Meanwhile, Jetfire rushes to Launch Tuber Niner as Optimus calls out over the commlink, "All Fliers and Aerialbots to launch bays! Sever those tow cables! We're being overrun!"

Jetfire transforms to jet mode and flies through the tube as he calls out, "Jetfire! Launch Tube Niner! En route!"

Jetfire flies out into space and calls out, "All right, Autobots! Let's turn and burn!"

Jetfire starts shooting his machine guns at the outer armor of the first tow cable and calls out to his fellow Aerialbots, "Aerialbots, pound the armor and the outer skin will shatter!"

Starscream fires multiple heat-seeking missiles at a specific part of the tow cable, exposing a weak spot.

Optimus points out, "There! A chink in the armor! Now, destroy it!"

Jetfire shoots the armor chink, causing the tow cable to split down the middle and crumble to pieces on both sides.

Jetfire calls out, "Boom! There it is!"

Optimus calls out over the commlink, "Jetfire, Starscream! This is a zero gravity environment! Try using your rocket launchers in robot mode!"

Jetfire and Starscream transform to robot mode and fire their rocket launchers at the second tow cable, eventually exposing another armor chink.

Optimus points out, "There! Another weak point! Destroy it!"

Jetfire and Starscream shoot at the armor chink in unison.

Optimus praises, "Nice work, you two! You're both stemming the tide!"

Jetfire and Starscream are immediately fired upon by the sentry guns of the Nemesis, prompting Optimus to point out, "Jetfire, Starscream, be mindful of the sentry guns! They'll eat you alive if you're not careful!"

Starscream exposes an armor chink in the final tow cable, causing Jetfire to say, "Target acquired."

Jetfire and Starscream shoot the last chink in unison, destroying the last tow cable.

Jetfire calls out over the commlink, "Cables are severed, Optimus. We needn't worry about any more Decepticons crashing the party—Whoa!"

Bruticus flies past Jetfire and Starscream, lands on the Ark, and slices two Autobot Soldiers to pieces with his rotor-blade shield.

Bruticus makes his way through hundreds of Autobot troops of every type in the Aligned continuity as he rumbles, "This place is crawling with Auto-bugs. Get OUTTA MY WAY!"

Bruticus uses his Sonic Pain Wave attack as Megatron calls out, "No mercy, Bruticus! Make your way to the propulsion deck and gut their engines! The Autobots must NOT reach the target planet!"

Bruticus replies, "On my way!"

Meanwhile, Bumblebee is being scanned as Ratchet asks, "Bumblebee, are you there?"

Bumblebee replies, "Yes, I'm here, Ratchet."

Ratchet states, "Optimus needs your help! That fall must've jarred your transformation cog back into gear! Transform and roll out!"

Bumblebee transforms to vehicle mode and exits the room while taking care to avoid Bruticus' rampage.

Meanwhile, Bruticus punches his way through to the checkpoint and remarks, "I love the sound of Autobots crunching under my feet!"

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "Hit him with something that'll slow him down!"

Another Autobot Soldier retorts, "Like what?! A starship?!"

The same Soldier replies, "Just keep firing! The bigger they are, the harder—"

But Bruticus interrupts, "THE HARDER THEY HIT."

Bruticus makes his way through various Autobots, including Autobot Enforcers, and punches through a plate of armor to reveal the Ark's primary Energon fuel tank.

Bruticus advises over the commlink, "Megatron, I've reached the Ark's primary Energon tank."

Megatron replies, "Destroy it, and we will be rid of these Autobots forever!"

Bruticus uses his Sonic Pain Wave attack again, destroying the Energon fuel tank.

Bruticus remarks, "Ha! This isn't even fair!"

Jetfire flies by and calls out, "Autobots! Bruticus is targeting our fuel tanks!"

Jazz drives by with the five Wreckers that form Ruination and replies, "Copy, Jetfire. Jazz and the Wreckers are in play!"

Jazz and the five Wreckers make their way to Jetfire, Silverbolt, Air Raid, Slingshot, Skydive, Fireflight, Starscream, Sunstorm, Skywarp, and Thundercracker tending to several Autobot Soldiers.

An Autobot Soldier says weakly, "G-go, Jetfire... My spark is finished."

Jetfire replies, "Keep your focus, soldier! We'll get through this!"

Jetfire turns to Jazz and exclaims, "Jazz! I need to find Ratchet! When we return, we can back you up with an airstrike!"

The Aerialbots transform and take flight as Jazz calls out in response, "Don't keep us waiting long, fly-boy!"

Jazz, Impactor, Roadbuster, Twintwist, Whirl and Topspin arrive on the scene of Bruticus' rampage, and the five Wreckers combine into Ruination.

Jazz remarks, "Whoa, Bruticus! Boy, you are even uglier up close!"

Bruticus rumbles in response, "How cute. The little Autobot and Ruination want to play!"

Jazz fires on Bruticus while he contends with Ruination.

As Bruticus kneels in pain, Jazz grapples onto Bruticus' right shoulder and fires his Subsonic Repeater into the Decepticon combiner's faceplate.

Jazz manages to jump off and get to safety before Bruticus can grab him.

Bruticus growls, "You're really starting to boil my oil!"

Suddenly, Ruination and Men Magnus grab Bruticus and throw him off the Ark.

Meanwhile, Ratchet advises Bumblebee, "You'll need to blast through that crate."

Bumblebee blasts through the two destructible walls and avoids a crashing Dropship as Ratchet shouts, "LOOK OUT, BUMBLEBEE!"

After coming across a checkpoint, Bumblebee hears Ratchet calling out over the commlink, "Bumblebee, kick in your nitro boost!"

Bumblebee activates his nitro boost for a boost of speed and Ratchet exclaims, "Nice work!"

Bumblebee comes across a drop up ahead, and Ratchet advises, "Bumblebee, you're running out of road! You'll have to jump it!"

Bumblebee jumps the gap in vehicle mode before coming across an Autobot outpost.

Bumblebee transforms as the first Soldier posted at the door exclaims, "Open up! We got Bumblebee!"

The door opens and Bumblebee follows the two Soldiers inside.

Once they got to the command center, another Soldier points to a stack of weapons and says, "Over here, Bumblebee! Fresh supplies!"

Bumblebee reloads his robot mode and vehicle mode weapons as an Autobot Soldier remarks, "Now you're ready to blast some Decepticons straight back to Cybertron!"

As Bumblebee heads to the exit door, a weapon canister emerges from the floor and opens to reveal a Thermo-Rocket Launcher as another Autobot Soldier states, "Through here, Bumblebee! You want to be tip of the spear? We're right behind you!"

Bumblebee equips the Rocket Launcher and sprints outside.

Upon seeing an Autobot Soldier get totaled, Bumblebee fires one rocket at Decepticon troops at a time.

Teletraan 1 advises, "Centrifugal separator critical. Engine failure at eighty-nine percent."

Bumblebee heads to the next room to stock up on heavy weapon ammo before progressing outside.

As Bumblebee approaches a battle between several Decepticon Soldiers and an Autobot Titan, the ground on the battle site shakes, catching everyone off-guard for a few seconds.

An Autobot Soldier cries out, "Holy scrap! Did you all see that?! The whole engine deck is coming apart!"

Another Autobot Soldier calls out in reply, "Keep pushing! Optimus needs us!"

The Titan notices Bumblebee and says, "Bumblebee! I'll clear you a wedge!"

An Autobot Aerialbot calls out over the commlink, "Air One-Eight to Ground: that last blast took a toll on Optimus! You want to help, the time is now!"

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "Autobots, listen up! Bumblebee is gonna punch through! Give him some covering fire NOW!"

Bumblebee gets through the Decepticon Soldiers being held off and squeezes through a wedge to one of the Ark's engines.

An Autobot Soldier calls out, "He made it! He's through!"

Ratchet calls out over the commlink, "I can't see anything! But my scanners say Optimus should be right on top of you!"

Bumblebee hears a clang, and turns around to see Optimus being thrown at him at full speed.

Optimus bumps into Bumblebee, causing him to nearly fall into one of the engine's grinding gears.

Bumblebee pulls himself up and witnesses Optimus and Megatron in a serious swordfight.

Megatron knocks Optimus' sword away, and kicks him down.

Megatron grabs a Nucleon Shock Cannon from a downed Decepticon Dropship and sneers, "Ugh! This ought to do the job!"

Optimus clutches his chestplate in pain and retorts, "Even if you destroy me, Megatron, others like Corvowing will rise to defeat your tyranny!"

Megatron replies, "Then I'll just have to destroy you ALL!"

Megatron fires the only shot at Optimus, but Bumblebee jumps in the way to take the shot for Optimus.

The shockwave from the blast knocks Bumblebee into Optimus, who tumbles.

Optimus cries out in horror, "Bumblebee!"

Optimus kneels next to Bumblebee to check on him as Megatron growls, "What a WASTE of Energon."

Optimus puts down Bumblebee gently and looks crossly and darkly at his former brother-in-arms before remarking, "After eons of conflict, I finally see the truth of your words, Megatron."

Megatron deploys his sword and asks in reply, "And what might that be, Optimus?"

Megatron prepares to deliver the final blow, but Optimus catches Megatron's sword-wielding arm, much to his shock.

Optimus answers angrily, "This universe, no matter how vast, will NEVER be big enough for you and me to coexist!"

Optimus uppercuts Megatron to the next part of the ship, grabs his sword and jumps to Megatron in an attempt to slice him up, only for Megatron to roll out of the way.

Optimus swings his sword about and says, "Let's finish this!"

Megatron replies, "No one can stop me!"

Both combatants swung their swords at one another, trying to land a metal-sparking blow to each other, but they were both evenly matched due to their respective training in Kaon's gladitorial pits.

Megatron sneered, "You actually call yourself a Prime? You were a records clerk from Iacon when I first found you! You will be nothing but dust by the time I'm through with you!"

Optimus replies, "Are you going to talk all day, or are you going to fight me, Megatron?"

Soon, both combatants were caught in a sword lock, but Optimus gains the upper hand. He punches Megatron hard in the faceplate, knocks his Corona Glaive sword away, punches him again, and slams him into a wall. Optimus punches Megatron extra hard in the sides four times before grabbing him by the collar of his chestplate and slamming him into the wall twice as hard, as Optimus' physical strength was now augmented by his rage. Optimus picks up Megatron and throws him across the impromptu arena.

They retrieve their swords, ready to continue their fight.

As they get ready to fight again, parts of the Ark start to splinter off due to the intensity of the dogfight between the Ark and the Nemesis.

But Optimus and Megatron decided to worry about that later.

Megatron starts to hover and do an electric whirlwind spin ability while swinging his sword around as he spins.

Optimus manages to dodge it and the EMP grenade Megatron threw.

Megatron remarks, "Not bad for a librarian! Perhaps you should've spent more time in the gladitorial pits!"

Optimus retorts, "And perhaps you should've spent more time in the library to increase your knowledge!"

Megatron transforms into his tank mode and fires three blasts at Optimus, only for the Autobot leader to dodge them.

Megatron switches back to robot mode and engages Optimus in another sword lock, with the Decepticon leader getting the upper hand this time.

Megatron punches Optimus hard in the faceplate, knocks Optimus' sword away, kicks him in the chestplate and tackles him to the ground. Megatron punches Optimus repeatedly in the faceplate while remarking merrily, "HAH! You're as soft as the weaklings you fight for!"

Megatron goes in for another punch, only for Optimus to swat his servo away and headbutt him, disorienting the Decepticon leader long enough for Optimus to stand back up.

Optimus retorts again, "On the contrary, my friends are the source of my strength. And if my words earlier didn't give it away, I've gone soft on you for too long!"

Optimus and Megatron regain their swords again, and they engage in a sword clash about ten to twelve times before Optimus jumped back.

Optimus transformed to his truck mode and tried to run Megatron over at full speed, only for Megatron to dash out of the way in time.

Prime transformed back to robot mode before clashing swords with Megatron another six times before engaging in another sword lock.

At first, it looked like Megatron was going to win a second time, but Optimus pushed back harder.

Optimus punches Megatron and tries to go for a stab, only to get punched back. Megatron brought both arms down on Optimus to attempt to vivisect him, but the Autobot leader uppercuts Megatron on his chin plate again, knocking the Decepticon leader onto his chestplate. Optimus stabbed Megatron's right arm into the metal ground, keeping it tightly in place as Optimus proceeded to grab Megatron's head and slam it into the Ark repeatedly.

After one more head slam into the Ark, Optimus held Megatron's head down and retrieved his sword, poised to run Megatron's head through as he says, "This. Ends. Now."

Optimus was then elbowed in the helm and thrown off Megatron as the Decepticon leader retorts again, "This ends when I say it ends!"

Megatron gets up in a rush and tries to to impale his rival in the chestplate, only for Optimus to clasp him by his arm, swing him around, and get a hold of Megatron's sword. Optimus ran Megatron through with his own sword, but Megatron wasn't one to give up so easily. He grabs Optimus punches him with three left hooks and three left backhanded strikes in a mixed pattern before hitting Optimus in the chestplate with his knee armor three to four times. Then Megatron deploys his Riot Cannon on his left arm, and a single shot to Optimus' chestplate at close range forces the Prime off the gladiator.

Megatron retracts his Riot Cannon and he pulls his sword out of his chestplate with a roar as his repair systems kick in. Megatron screams, "Why won't you die?!"

Optimus retorts, "It'll take more than you've got, Megatron!"

Megatron hovers in the air and fires his Riot Cannon repeatedly, only for Optimus to dodge the shots and Optimus remembers Megatron has the new Hover-Slam ability, so the Autobot leader dodges the Decepticon leader's slamming attack.

Optimus charges his sword with electricity, jumps into the air and starts spinning around in an attempt to catch Megatron off-guard.

Megatron dodges the attack, but he's too late to dodge Optimus' jumping sword slam attack.

Optimus then swung his sword upwards, slashing Megatron's chestplate and sending him onto his back plate.

But before Megatron could try to escape or deflect Optimus' sword, Optimus brought his sword down onto Megatron's chestplate, impaling it and causing the Decepticon leader to roar in pain.

Optimus snarls for the first time, "You're finished, Megatron!"

Megatron's optics and the purple parts of his armor go dark after a pause.

Optimus lets out a sigh as he removes his sword from Megatron's chestplate and Corvowing turns up.

Corvowing's faceplate had a neutral expression as he remarks politely, "Sorry, Optimus. I know the two of you had a history, but it still had to be done."

Optimus vented before solemnly nodding.

Corvowing picked up Optimus and flew with him to the bridge of the Ark, where Corvowing had his sparkmate, his Prime siblings and his clones repairing the damages and replacing anything that was easily irretrievable and/or considered irreplaceable.

When Ratchet rushed in carrying Bumblebee, everyone was shocked to see that the Autobot medic managed to save the most valuable Autobot scout in time.

Corvowing nods to Optimus, and the Autobot leader announces, "Autobots... Megatron is no more."

After a pause, everyone started to cheer and dance.

After about two space days, with Corvowing's help, the Autobots liberated Aquatron from the Quintessons and killed every Quintesson before any of them can escape.

Soon, the Ark was on its way to the planet Earth, and that's when Corvowing's story enters its new saga of chapters.

(Author's notes: That's that, ladies and gentlebots. My Fall of Cybertron story is now officially completed. Megatron is no more, but for how long? We'll find out in the first chapter of my new story.

In anticipation of my new story, several Autobots and Decepticons from different parts of the Transformers franchise – Beast Wars Maximals, Beast Wars Predacons, Beast Machines Dinobots, Beast Machines Vehicons, Robots in Disguise 2001 Predacons included – will be featured. But for the characters that share the same names, they'll have to have their names changed.

In addition to that, there'll be various siblings for Jack and Miko in the sequel story that get caught up in the final war for Earth. For the human characters that get involved thanks to their Cybertronian forms, they'll have different names based on their Transformer body-type, including Primeverse Predacons.
