Differences
1. Clothes are made of weak materials.
2. Humanity is super weak now.
3. Gods are far more involved with humanity.
4. Ramen doesn't taste as good.
5. There is far greater language differences.
6. People are way more perverted, even more so the women.
7. Daily live is easy, no constant threat of death.

"... I... think I don't like this new era..." Naruto was slowly coming to the realization that he didn't like how easy everything was now. Even the enemies he was fighting were just subpar from what he had been used to.

He was strong.

Even when he was young he was strong, but the fact remained that he was constantly fighting people stronger than he was. His first real mission had that Ice user and the guy with the big sword, and they were super strong. Then he fought against those martial artists, and then against the guy with Shukaku in his gut. Even after his training with his master, he kept fighting Kage-level ninja who outclassed damn near everything Jonin in the village other than a few.

The people of this era were just pathetic.

The abilities they had were so straight forward, and they had so little variation in what they could do. Power, Wizard, and Support were the types of fighters these days, and people very rarely dipped outside of what they were good at. Rias was a pure wizard fighter with almost no hand to hand ability at all, despite having a pretty strong body when compared to humans. Sirzechs was leagues above Rias in this, but he was much the same in that his abilities weren't nearly as good when it came to hand to hand.

Kuroka had been a wizard fighter with a little bit of power to her, but her hand to hand had been kind of simple. Still, she could enhance her strength, but when she enhanced her strength she didn't rely on her magical abilities.

Sairaorg was an expert at Hand to Hand, and his Power was super high, but he didn't have anything else going for him. He had practically no magic, and couldn't use more than the smallest of spells. He was just as super specialized as everyone else.

"... Damn... I miss the days when you knew that most Taijutsu guys could still whip out a powerful Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, or that even most Genjutsu users were damn good at Taijutsu and had some support Ninjutsu... now it's like everyone is a one trick pony." Naruto scratched the back of his head and complained.

People just trained to get better at what they were already good at in this era.

Under his Master, he had been forced to get better at the stuff he was bad at. He was horrible at Genjutsu, so he spent a long time learning how to break illusions with his chakra, and his taijutsu had been subpar, so he had been trained to get his taijutsu skills up to Jonin levels of skill, and he always had powerful Ninjutsu under his belt. He didn't have a LOT of Ninjutsu, but he mastered the ones he did know so that he could mix them together in unique ways.

People these days just seemed to not know how beneficial it was to dip your hands into all 3 types of combat.

"Sup."

"Sup... Ko..." Naruto looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow.

"Koneko."

"Koneko, what brings you here?" Naruto asked as he looked around. He was sitting alone in the park outside of school grounds. After he sent Kuroka packing, he just decided to skip the rest of school. Koneko sat down next to him and opened up her school materials, before she started to study next to him.

"Studying."

"... You're not here to... oh... just studying?" Naruto asked her with a raised eyebrow. Her had kind of expected her to start to act seductive or something, using this chance while they were alone together to do something. He didn't know why he thought that, but it seemed to be like that with almost every girl he met.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Your chakra is warm and comforting, it will make studying better."

"Ah... continue." Naruto couldn't deny that reason. She didn't talk much, she just studied while sitting next to him.

"I heard you shouting at Buchou lately, just letting you know, her sleeping naked has been a thing for a long time... don't be too hard on her. It's not always seductive when she does it." Koneko stated while studying. Rias had slept in the same bed as her frequently while naked, it was a normal thing for her to do with her peerage. "She's done it with me, Akeno, Gasper, and Issei when she healed him... almost all of us have gotten the same naked sleep." Koneko explained as she turned the page in her study materials.

Naruto looked at her.

"Women in my era-"

"She isn't from your era... what was the average life span of people in your era?"

"... For Ninja, the average person lived to about... 25 or so... most unskilled ninja die pretty quickly, and very few lived passed 30." Naruto stated, and Koneko looked at Naruto with a raised eyebrow.

His people died that young?

"... Well devils live a long time, thousands of years, even normal humans live between 70 and 90 years normally. They crave excitement to fill our the emptiness, people in your time period had exciting lives full of danger." Koneko explained the biggest difference.

It was danger.

"... That makes sense, the older a ninja got, the more perverted they usually became... or the weirder they got... old ninja were super weird... guess becoming strong meant THEY lived longer lives filled with less danger... that kind of makes sense." Naruto had always wondered why the older somebody got during his era, the more they became obsessed with different things. Koneko's theory kind of made sense to him on some level. "So how do you stop being bored?"

"Good food, video games, and rap."

"They didn't really have video games during my time, and I'm not a big music guy... but good food sounds..."

"Good?" Koneko asked him with a dull tone.

"Great, and I'm feeling a little hungry... come on Koneko, screw studying. Lets go down to the river and have a little fun fishing." Naruto grinned when Koneko seemed to be very interested by that idea.

-MUCH Later-

"Technically, this is illegal fishing."

"Actually, I don't care if it's illegal or not... fire cooked fish is awesome." Naruto grinned as he grabbed another fish out of the water and tossed it to Koneko on dry land. He was standing on top of the water, and whenever a fish would pass by, he would reach under the water and scoop it right up.

Koneko took her shoes and socks off, and walked into the shallow parts of the water where she would dump the fish guts.

She didn't argue with his logic.

"Why didn't you invite the others too?"

"Because... I'm a pervert, but... I'm a pervert by my era's standards. I read dirty magazines sometimes, and I like looking at girls... and I make techniques designed to tease perverts... but compared to the people in this era... even some of the most perverted people I knew aren't considered that perverted here... I don't want to think how those girls would make fishing perverted." Naruto would have loved to watch them, but he was just over being perverted at the moment.

He needed a break from all of the pervy stuff every now and again, and he just KNEW that if Rias, or Akeno, or Xenovia, or any other woman came here with him that somehow this would turn perverted. Like wet t-shirts and their nipples being show off, maybe them skinny dipping or wearing super revealing swimsuits.

He needed a break.

"... So you're not a pervert?"

"I am a pervert."

"No, you're not." Koneko heard Naruto's description of pervert, and even though she had seen him turn into a sexy woman with his ninjutsu, that wasn't really perverted. He was playing with his own body, and created a technique to distract people. That wasn't perverted, it was manipulative, and Naruto looked at dirty books. "You didn't describe a pervert, you described a normal guy." Koneko explained to him.

It was normal for BOTH genders to be interested in dirty books to some degree, and Naruto didn't look like the type of guy who actually bought dirty books. He looked like the kind of guy who would look at them, put them back on the shelf, and then walk off without buying them. He looked like he spent more time training, thinking about training, or doing something productive with his time rather than fulfilling his lust.

"Eh?"

"Issei, according to what his idiot friends have shouted, apparently masturbates several times a night."

"... That's... kind of pathetic..." Naruto didn't really masturbate at all. When he was 12 years old, he had learned of the monster fox in his gut, and then he spent years travelling with an old man. He was constantly training towards a goal, and he was never in a position where he had the time or chance to masturbate.

Or the desire for that matter.

He would rather spend his time getting stronger than wasting that time with self-love, not to mention having somebody in your gut that you KNEW could see everything you ever did meant that he was never alone. He would always have an audience for whenever he wanted to do it, which meant it was so awkward for him.

"Round 4 is almost done cooking by the way-" Koneko felt Naruto zoom passed her, slashing her with water as he ran by. He was already sitting by the fire, and picking a fish that he was going to enjoy, and sticking another fish on the fire to start cooking. "... great..." Koneko walked out of the water.

The fish was good.

The only seasoning Naruto used to flavor it was some herbs that were growing in the area, but it tasted great and natural. He really knew what he was doing, which just made the experience that much more pleasant.

"So... what is YOUR backstory?" Naruto asked her.

"... I joined Rias when I was younger, she makes me happy." Koneko stated rather simply, and though he wasn't satisfied with the answer, she noticed that he didn't look like he was going to question her further.

Naruto just grinned.

"She's a good person, I like her too. You know, you remind me of a girl I met today."

"Hmm?"

"Yeah, she tried to kill me... and when I was beating her, she demanded I show her my Senjutsu, and then she wanted to make babies with me... so I explained how stupid she was for trying to demand babies from somebody stronger than her."

"She sounds really dumb." Koneko agreed with Naruto there. Also, she raised an eyebrow when she realized that during school, somebody had attacked Naruto and nobody had even sensed what was going on. "You get attacked a lot, don't you?" Koneko asked with a raised eyebrow. "... Wait... you compared me to an idiot like that?" Koneko frowned at him, sending him a dirty look, when she came to the thought that Naruto had just said she reminded him of an idiot.

Naruto shook his head.

"You're not stupid, but you kind of look like her. You've got really similar faces and eyes, she's got yellow eyes just like you, and a kitty-like face."

"Says the guy with whisker marks."

"FOX... My whiskers make my face fox-like."

"Cat face."

"Either way, you've both got really pretty pale skin. You just look like you could have been sisters is all, but your hair color is different, and your personalities couldn't be more different for starters, she was-"

"A pervert?" Koneko asked with a knowing look.

He pointed at her.

"Spot on guess, she was a pervert that tried to seduce me, but she didn't know the first thing about proper seduction in trapping a man, so I gave her some tips... and can you believe it, but she thought that she would restore her species, when she's a mix-breed." Naruto complained about the stupid situation that he had found himself in earlier in the day.

The petite girl before him just nodded in agreement.

That sounded pretty dumb to her too.

Naruto talked to Koneko for hours, and she would respond sometimes when he said something she could comment on.

Hours.

Literal hours, until the sun rose up into the sky on the next day, that was how long passed before they finished hanging out. It was fun for Naruto, and just the break he needed from all of the weird perverted nonsense that he had been dealing with lately.

Maybe he should try and prank Rias again.
