"So... your peerage is going to be attacked on the train ride back to the Underworld when you go back... because you asked for a favor from a dragon to test their strength?" Naruto asked Rias when she explained what she planned once school was out for break. Her plan to see how much her peerage had grown since he gave them a lesson, of which he had not done again, and they started to train on their own.
She was currently getting dressed in a space suit.
The New Generation Space Suit that Ajuka had created, one that wasn't nearly as bulky as the ones that currently existed that they needed to use on the moon. She was testing it out with her brother at the moment, since she wanted to go to the moon. It was a lot more tight fitting, made of a material that was enchanted to apply the correct pressure to the body, and protect it from the radiation and extreme conditions of space.
The helmet on the other hand was the most unique part.
There was a small machine that drained small amounts of magic to teleport fresh air into the helmet, and get rid of the carbon dioxide that was released by the body. It was made for the purpose of removing the oxygen storage tank time limit. Rias would be the first person in her peerage to test it out, but she wasn't the first person overall to test it all. Ajuka was currently in the process of trying to find a way to make the inside of the moon a place that could sustain humanoid life.
Naruto didn't get the point.
They had the Underworld and Earth already as places that they could live on, the moon didn't need to be a place for them to go to when they had so much already.
"Kings of a Peerage are required to look after their peerage, train them, test them and see how much they are growing. Our family loves our peerages as if they were family, but we still have our duties as Kings." Sirzechs explained the point, already fully in his suit. He added his demon king cape to it though, since he was just always used to wearing it. "So, how does the suit feel Rias?" Sirzechs asked his sister.
The moon's inside was a secret from most devils.
As of right now, only the 4 demon kings and their families really knew about it, and of course Naruto knew the truth. Ajuka wanted to claim the moon and it's unique resources in the name of their species, so that they could have a place completely their own. That they wouldn't need to share with any other species, but his guess was that it would take hundreds of years before he found a way to get oxygen to the inside of the moon.
"So, are you ready to teleport Rias?" Sirzechs asked his sister.
She looked at Naruto.
"Actually... can I go... the other way?" Rias knew her brother and Ajuka got to be carried to the moon by Naruto, and she wanted to experience that same thing as well. She could teleport to the inside of the moon after they got there, but before that point. She wanted to experience what very few ever got to really go through.
Naruto glanced at her and Sirzechs, silent as he saw the siblings smiling at each other, with the elder of the two giving a thumbs up.
-Later-
"This is... so magical."
The feeling of Naruto carrying her in his arms as he jumped from clone to clone, going so high into the sky that no living creature would be able to fly was amazing. Even her species had limits to how high they could fly without passing out from lack of oxygen. She could see so much of Earth as they gently floated between jumps, and she knew they were moving super fast, but she couldn't feel that weight of speed at the moment.
She was used to the city lights.
There were stars everywhere.
She looked back at Earth, and she saw it was lit up. The massive cities across the world with their lights on at night, gave the planet the appearance that it was covered in stars as well. Golden stars on the planet, and stars of all colors in space above. The sight took her breath away, and without her suit her breath would have been taken away long before then. She looked towards the moon as they gently fell to it.
"This is amazing... romantic." Rias hinted to Naruto.
He didn't get it.
"It is really pretty."
"Yeah... pretty..." Rias deadpanned, before she smiled and sat down on the moon's surface. She looked at the planet and the stars that surrounded it in space. She smiled again brighter than before as she pat the ground for Naruto to join her. "Pretty doesn't really do it justice, don't you think it's more than just... pretty?" Rias asked Naruto, and she noticed that he didn't seem all that impressed by the beauty.
"From up here, it looks amazing, but being on Earth and sensing it all is way better. The taste of good food, the smells and sights you will never experience by watching from far away... it's pretty... but being able to live a full life is way more beautiful." Naruto argued with her on the idea that what they were seeing was something he should be amazed at. He grinned at her though. "... but it IS a beautiful sight."
She laughed at him relenting and agreeing with her on that.
He frowned.
"Are you okay?" Rias questioned the frown when he looked at Earth.
"Yeah... it just really shows how this isn't the Earth I grew up on. Time has changed it, I'm in a new era... everything is different. Even the planet is different, the only thing that is the same is hatred and violence... between humans, between supernatural species... I would like it if Sirzechs and Ajuka moved your species to the moon." Naruto stated with a smile starting to grow. He sat down next to Rias, and he looked at Earth with a saddened gaze. "... I miss my memories Rias."
"Huh?"
"I can remember the unpleasant things somewhat, and I can remember how to fight... I'm missing so much of my own life. I don't remember my best friend's face or name, but I remember him shoving his hand through my chest... I don't remember the people I loved at all... the more I interact with the new human era, the further my memories get away from me... I don't want to live with humanity." Naruto admitted sadly as he still smiled.
Rias looked at him with sympathy.
Why was he smiling?
"You hate humans?"
"No, I don't hate them, I want to protect them. These humans though... the hatred they have for each other is overwhelming. There are billions of humans now, billions of people who have been brainwashed by hatred for each other... the countries aren't connected anymore either."
That line made Rias curious.
"What does that matter?"
"They don't speak the same languages, back in my era we lived side by side with everyone, even our enemies. We all spoke the same language... yes, we hated each other, but living so close gave us respect for our enemies. We respected their will, their conviction, and their strength. We didn't hate them for living in different countries, we hated our enemies for killing our people. We suffered from the Cycle of Hatred... modern humans suffer from..." Naruto didn't even know what to call it. The more he learned about modern humans, the more he wanted to get away from them all. "... weakness." Naruto ended up saying.
"Weakness, they are weak."
"No physical weakness, they hate each other over even the smallest of things. They don't wish death just on their enemies, they wish death on people who have the smallest differences from them. So... I want to get away from humans, because they are forcing me to remember the worst parts of my era... and that is making it harder to remember what I loved... I don't want to lose those memories forever." Naruto gripped his knees.
His reason was selfish.
He knew he was being selfish in wanting to abandon humanity, but he loved his species so much that he didn't want to be drowned by their hatred. He didn't want to be forced to remember all of the memories he hated, and forget everything he loved.
"Ah..." Rias couldn't say much to that.
She forgot that she was talking to a man who had lost everything, he had lost so much more than most people ever gained in their lives. He was so filled with happiness and love that she forgot that he was human. She forgot he wasn't perfect, that he was flawed and had fears as well. His fears were completely different than her own, than the fears of almost everyone else.
He didn't fear death, or pain, or his enemies.
Naruto feared being alone, forgetting his good memories, he was afraid of his own bad memories more than he was of anything that anyone could do.
"... I love you, and I'll be with you. Even if you abandon humanity, I'm not human, and I'll be with you." Rias stated as she looked not at Naruto, or at Earth, or at anything in space. She looked at nothing, because she didn't know where to look.
She hadn't expected this to get deep.
She glanced at Naruto, and saw he was looking at her.
"This is the part where you say you love me back, and we kiss."
"You're wearing a space helmet..." Naruto told her with a grin, and she blushed when she realized kissing was impossible. His cheeks were bright red though, and she saw he was much happier than when she was being seductive. "... but thank you. I'm still human though, I don't fit in with your society either. You'll live so much longer than I will, and then I'll be gone."
Rias put her hand on top of his.
"That doesn't matter."
"It doesn't."
"Even if I can't find a way to make you a devil, even if I can't find a way to live a long time with you, I'll cherish the time I do have with you even more. I'll always cherish our happy memories, the sad ones, and the bad ones. In 1000 years from now, I'll look at our great-great-grandchildren and think about you... and you'll watch over us from the afterlife." Rias was just going to be happy with all the time that she was going to get with Naruto.
If her time with him was going to be limited, then she would fill that time with so much love that she would fill her heart with several lifetimes worth of happiness. Then one day, she hoped she would be able to reincarnate as a human, and that he would decide to reincarnate with her. That way they could meet each other all over again, and one day fall in love like it was the first time.
"I guess I better do my best to become immortal."
"I mean, that's easy. There is a Sacred Gear called the Sephiroth Graal that can make humans immortal."
"... You just ruined the emotional moment we just had." Naruto deadpanned at her when her statement of fact messed with the great, loving, emotional moment of his statement.
"Did I?"
"The entire thing about dying of old age is kind of ruins when you literally know of a way for us to spend forever... together despite me being human. Great... just great... the romantic moment is ruined..." Naruto acted with great drama to his words. Rias realized that he was just joking with her though and laughed alongside him.
"So... does this count as the first date?"
"Yes."
Rias would count this as a success.

Please Leave Me Lots of Nice Long Reviews, But No Flames Please!
I'm sick and fucking tired of the "Kaguya moon" shit people keep asking.
The Gedo Mazo, the statue with the Tailed Beasts inside of it, IS KAGUYA'S BODY!
Her body has not been sealed in the moon since Madara originally summoned the Gedo Mazo to extend his life.
Kaguya is NOT inside of the moon, and has not been, for a long time.
Kaguys is NOT "sleeping" in the moon, so people going to the moon don't need to worry about her at all.
