Story Start!
"We'll have to start with these until we can find a better solution."
27 days.
27 days and 9 domes were built on the inside of the moon, 9 large castle sized domes where oxygen had been pumped into the moon. The trees that were inside of these domes started to produce their own oxygen the second the chakra inside of the trees wasn't the only thing fueling them to grow. With both chakra and natural gases feeding them now, they started to once more produce oxygen instead of producing natural energy to release into the air.
21 days.
That was how long it took for Ajuka to finish 9 large domes that could serve as the test for if devil life could survive on the moon, to see if the domes would serve as a good test. So he had invited 5 families to inhabit the 9 domes, with 4 of the domes being constructed for different purposes.
Bael.
Gremory.
Sitri.
Agares.
Phenex.
Families with young devils in them who could be a great test to see if the new generations could enjoy life on the moon, and if they could find the experience worth it. Currently, the 5 families had been living in their respective domes for 6 days. He himself had created a small, but still good sized, dome for himself to construct a lab to research the unique plants and animals on the moon.
"To think, soon we will never HAVE to worry about Fallen Angels or Heaven again... the Fallen Angels can have the Underworld, and Heaven can take Earth... and we can peacefully live here away from them." Sirzechs spoke as he placed his hand on the glass of the dome.
The truce.
The three factions had a shaky truce with each other, but in the end it was what allowed them to co-exist. At the same time, this was a solution to ending their truce in a way that ensured that there would be no more violence between them. They would all live apart from each other, no longer having to content with land issues with the Fallen, and no longer needing to argue with heaven over land rights on Earth.
"We're not doing the right thing, but we are doing the smart thing." Ajuka spoke to Sirzechs, and he saw Serafall was in her suit, walking outside of the dome. Nobody liked the fact that they were forced to wear those suits whenever they had to leave the domes, but in the end it wasn't like they had much of a choice.
The inside of the moon was massive.
Several continents worth of land was what they had to worth with, and it would be a long time before they could make the outside of the domes breathable for them. As it stood, the only beings who could breath outside of the dome were Naruto and the native animals who possessed the same chakra as Naruto had.
"The Khaos Brigade, it feels like we're running away."
"We are running away, we're taking our species out of this fight... once we finish this test drive, we'll construct more domes. We'll move more of our people here, and even the weakest of our species will be safe." Ajuka smiled as he thought about it more and more.
Safety.
They would have their own kingdom that was not threatened by the other factions and the other pantheons anymore. No longer would they need to rely on Evil Pieces to speed up the growth of their species numbers, and with their teleportation magic they still had a way to get back to Earth when they needed to. If they kept all of this a secret, then their species could still make contracts with humans, increase their numbers slowly, and never have to worry about going to war with the others again.
"... This is all thanks to Naruto."
"Yes... his very being was... is what is saving us. The prophecy was true, he did bring salvation to us by giving us a way to end the fighting. Peacefully." Ajuka agreed with Sirzechs on this. He hated how unscientific it was, but he couldn't help but be happy as well.
The path forward was clear.
Making the moon livable was going to take all of his effort, and all of his scientific genius, with hundreds of years of work. It would be a creation he would need to put everything into, and he was going to love every second of it.
"If this works, we won't need to exist anymore... the 4 Satans that is." Sirzechs pointed out to Ajuka.
The Satans who governed and controlled how they interacted with other species, how they defended themselves and how they ruled their military. They weren't going to need a military, and they weren't going to need to be diplomats anymore either. The roles they had been playing for hundreds of years now were going to come to an end, because they would no longer be needed anymore.
"You'll be Sirzechs Gremory, and I'll be Ajuka Astaroth again... I won't have to do this job anymore..." Ajuka smiled wider and wider when he realized they were going to be free from their responsibilities. They weren't going to need to be leaders anymore.
They would be truly free once more.
No longer shackled down by their burdensome roles, able to live the lives they would have wanted to live anyway.
"We won't need Satans anymore." Sirzechs agreed, and he smiled at Ajuka as the man got that familiar glint to his eye. "... but I think we might need some kind of leader... I'm thinking... somebody who was the fire that led us our of the shadows..." Sirzechs spoke with a wider, growing smile on his face.
"You're saying that devils should be led by the fire that... the fire's shadow... heh..." Ajuka chuckled as he rubbed his nose.
Serafall hit the dome with her body.
"You stupid deer, let me ride you!" Serafall jumped on top of a 30 foot tall deer and started to ride on it as he bucked her off. She was exploring the outside world of the dome, and it made Ajuka very glad that the glass was magically reinforced to be able to withstand extreme impacts. "Hey guys, come out here and ride this deer with me!"
Sirzechs put his helmet back on and ran towards the exit of the dome, knowing that what Serafall was doing was going to be tons of fun.
"That looks fun!"
"Idiots..." Ajuka laughed as he watched Sirzechs jump onto the deer as well, and soon enough they were long out of sight. He didn't join them though, as he had a lot of work to do. Ajuka looked at the pen that was sitting on his desk, the pen that he didn't remember being there before. "... is that Naruto... or Sirzechs' pen?"
He didn't even know at this point.
The paranoia was real, the fact that he didn't know if he was looking at Naruto transformed as a pen, or looking at one of the pens that Sirzechs was using, was really freaky. He couldn't understand how ninja were able to live normal lives, when anything or everything in their surroundings could be deadly enemies in disguise. He was starting to understand just how deadly it would be to have a ninja on your ass.
You never knew when they were going to kill.
"Naruto?" Ajuka asked as he poked the pen, and it fell off of his table, and onto the ground where it did nothing and stayed there.
*Poof*
"I wasn't the pen, I was the paper next to the pen!"
"FUCKING HELL!?" Ajuka shouted in shock, grabbing his heart when Naruto suddenly poofed into existence and showed himself sitting on the table. He hadn't even noticed that Naruto was holding the piece of paper that he had been writing on, showing that Naruto had been the piece of paper underneath his paper. He could feel his heart racing a mile a minute, even more so since he had checked the pen and felt relief that it wasn't Naruto. "My heart... my fucking heart... you almost killed me." Ajuka collapsed to his knees dramatically.
He stood right back up though.
"Oh you big baby, I'm just bored. Rias is training her peerage, and I have nothing to do... I could go see about the other families here, but pranking you after my last failed prank-"
"The couch or the soap?"
"... No..."
"What did you turn into this time by mistake?" Ajuka was curious, because he wanted to know what Naruto had turned into that ended up with a pervy misadventure now. Naruto told Sirzechs, and Sirzechs told him about what had been happening.
...
Naruto told him.
Ajuka laughed his ass off.
