Okay, this is the 1st chapter of one of my favorite anime series of all time, One Piece. The reason is because I love the adventures of the sea, the action for pirates, marines, and all sorts. Also, it was hilarious. I like to laugh, you like to laugh, and everyone likes to laugh which is why this series was epic and adventurous.

Anyway, I don't own the series of One Piece, just my OC that was based of the Dragoon.

Just to give you a heads-up, his attacks will be based on the Final Fantasy series (Dissidia, 14, and Record Keeper.)

Shells Town

When the dingy have made the shore, a hooded teenager came out of the ship and plans to get some supplies he needed. His appearance was a teenager with long blond hair tied back in a ponytail and green eyes. He wore a blue garments (shirt and pants), white boots, white hood with a long cape, blue wristband on his right forearm, covered his mouth with a white mask and white sash around his waist. He also carries a lance around on his back. He approaches toward the marketplace as he took a look at the prices from the fruit, vegetables, and meat as one of the clerks spoke.

"Excuse me, see anything you like?" The clerk ask with a smile as the hooded teenager.

"I just need to restock some supplies." He told the clerk with his calm voice. "I traveled from different islands for the bounty and many odd jobs that I have done."

The clerk was amazed to hear about him hunting pirates and some various jobs.

"How much for the pears? I can use only 1 barrel for the food supply." He asked.

"It'll be 500 berries per barrel, sir." The clerk answers.

With that, the hooded teen extended his 500 berries to him which he passed the barrel to him. When the hooded teen was about to lift the barrel and headed to the dingy, he heard a loud voice that was coming from the shore.

"WE'RE HERE, THE MARINE BASE CITY!" The teen shouts. His appearance was a teen with shaggy black hair, black eyes, and a slim muscular build. He wore a straw hat, blue trousers with cuffs, sandals, and a sleeveless red vest. His face had a scar with two stitches underneath of his left eye. The other one was a small, timid, chubby boy with pink hair and round-rim glasses.

The two were walking toward the market place while the hooded teen was approaching to his dingy, placing the barrel of pears on the dingy as he return to the marketplace to get some supplies.

"Luffy seriously, you're out of your mind if you think the right thing to do is get this guy to join you." The boy told him frantically, tried to convince him.

"Well, I haven't made up my mind yet. I got a see if he's a good guy." Luffy said with a smile.

"He's in prison because he's obviously not." The boy shouts.

Luffy grab a pear, take a bite out of it while tossing a coin to the clerk as he spoke.

"Hey, is that guy Zoro around here somewhere?" Luffy ask curiously, causing the clerks and people jumped back against the market stalls with fright which apparently they heard of Zoro. The boy approached Luffy as spoke.

"Maybe we shouldn't mention the name 'Zoro' here, okay?" The boy whispered to him as they headed towards the Marine Base while the hooded teen silently followed them which he knew those two would try to cause trouble.

"Let's head to the base and check it out." Luffy suggests. "You want to be a Marine, right?"

"Well of course I do, Luffy, but I really don't think I'm ready just yet." The boy said, raised his eyebrow. "From what I've heard, the man in charge of this base is Captain Morgan."

With that, the people jumped back against the market stalls with fright look on their faces which they've also know the name of Morgan also. Luffy just laughed it off since he find that hilarious about the townspeople jumped back which he doesn't know that the people were scared of both Zoro and Morgan.

"This town is such a weird place." Luffy said with a laugh.

"That's odd, I understand if they're scared of Zoro, but why do they flip when I mentioned the Marine Captain?" The boy questions, pondered. "I don't know, I've got a bad feeling about this."

"Maybe they were all just jumping around for the fun of it." Luffy answered with a smile.

"And how would that make any sense?" The boy asked seriously which he didn't like Luffy's answer.

When the two heading toward the Marine Base, the hooded teen approaches one of the people as he spoke calmly.

"Excuse me, was there any reason why would they fear of Zoro and Captain Morgan?" He asked, leaving them scared, but the teen spoke.

"Please, I wanted to know why." He told them politely as one of them spoke.

"W-Well...you see...Roronoa Zoro was a famous bounty hunter who he killed off those bounty like he's a demon that thirst with carnage." One of the spoke fearfully. "But Captain Morgan was one of the high ranking officer that made an outrageous taxes since he took over in this island, but his son Helmeppo was exploiting every people here in town by forcing them to grovel and to cater to his every whim."

"I see." The hooded teen said, closing his eyes with disappointment as he spoke. "Where is this Zoro?"

"H-He's in the execution yard, he's been there for weeks. Helmeppo held him captive since Zoro saved the little girl from that wolf." He told the teen, getting a nod from him as he headed towards.

The people pleaded him not to go there, but he ignored them as he headed towards the Marine Base.

When the two made it towards the entrance of the Marine Base, Luffy spoke.

"This looks like the place." Luffy said with a smile while the boy stare at the Marine Base with teary eyes and awe.

"I made it." He said with a smile as he covered his eyes with his forearm. "This is where you and I part ways...we did have fun together, but-"

He snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Luffy was on the top of the wall.

"Where's the foothold?"

"GET DOWN FROM THERE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THEY'LL SEE YOU!" The boy yelled when he shake his arms frantically.

"Now where's that demon?" Luffy asked, looking for Zoro.

"They wouldn't keep him out of the open, he's probably tucked in a prison cell below ground." He answered with a sweat drop.

"There he is!" Luffy exclaimed as he jumped down while running with a big grin. "I'm gonna get closer!"

With that, they saw Zoro tied up in the crucifixion yard. His appearance was a muscular man with an average height with tanned skin with green hair and black eyes. He wore a black bandana on his head, three gold earrings on his left ear, black trousers tucked with black boots, white shirt, and green haramaki.

"Coby, look!" Luffy told him with a smile as Coby joins him.

"Uh...I'm telling you, he's not-" Coby was about to him, but he saw Zoro with fright. 'That hood on his hand...and a haramaki...It's Roronoa Zoro.'

"If we untie those ropes, he can just walk away." Luffy suggests with a smile, pointing at Zoro.

"Oh, don't be such an idiot, Luffy!" Coby scolds. "There's no telling what a bandit like him would do if you let him go, he might just kill us both!"

"Don't worry I'm strong, I can protect us." Luffy shrugs with a grin.

'He's lost his mind.' Coby thought with teary eyes and face paled.

"Hey you two." Zoro called them, leaving Coby scream with fright. "You're an eyesore, get lost."

With that, Coby shake his arms frantically with frightened look on his face while screaming as he gets close to Luffy.

"Luffy trust me, there's no chance of surviving like him on your crew." Coby told him with panic. However, they saw a ladder up against the wall, noticed a little girl climbing up on the top of the wall. She is a young girl with black eyes and brown hair with pigtails. She wore a striped turquoise and purple shirt with white hood. She placed a finger on her lip, shushed them so they won't get in trouble from the Marines as looked around left and right which they're not here. She tossed the rope down, getting down to the ground as she rushed towards Zoro. Coby pleaded Luffy to stop the little girl which he was worried, but Luffy ignored him as Zoro spoke to her.

"What do you want?" Zoro questioned with annoyance.

"I thought you maybe getting hungry now." She answered with a smile. "So I made you a couple of Rice-Balls."

"You gotta death wish, kid?" Zoro asked as the little girl unwrapped a cloth. "Just scram."

"But you haven't eaten anything the whole time you're tied up. Here!" She said, offered her Rice-Balls to Zoro. "I never really made them before, but I did my best so I think there fine."

Zoro was surprised to see that the little girl made some Rice-Balls as he spoke.

"Listen kid, I'm not hungry." Zoro denies. "Now stop irritating me and get out of here!"

"But-"

"Don't make me kick your ass, little girl!?" Zoro threatens as the gates opened, revealed two Marines and a young man named Helmeppo.

He's a lanky, average-sized young man with a distinctive cleft chin and light blonde hair with bizarre mushroom-style. He wore a couple of flashy leisure suit (purple blazer with pink shirt underneath), white shoes, an orange bead necklace, and a rubber band on his left finger.

"Now, now, no one likes a bully." Helmeppo said with a smug look on his face, earned a glare from Zoro. "Roronoa Zoro, you seem to be handling this well, don't you agree?"

"Hey look, now there's another weird guy." Luffy said with blank expression.

"That's great, he must be with the Marine's." Coby said with relief as he turned to Luffy. "Now we know the girl will be safe."

However, Helmeppo take a look at the little girl's Rice-Balls she made for Zoro.

"Looky, some tasty Rice-Balls." Helmeppo said as he swipe the Rice-Ball from her, took a bit out of it.

"That's not for you." The little girl told him, but Helmeppo didn't like the taste.

"Blech! Too Sweet!" Helmeppo exclaimed with disgust, sticking out his tongue as he turned to her. "There packed with sugar! You're supposed to use salt, you idiot! Salt!"

"But I...I thought they better sweet." The little girl told him nervously.

"Give Me That!" Helmeppo said as he took the Rice-Ball away from her, throw it to the ground and stomped it repeatedly. She begged him to stop, hut he ignored her plea.

"That's just awful." Coby said, watching Helmeppo stomping the Rice-Ball with sad expression. When Helmeppo finished stomping the Rice-Ball, the little girl cried as she look at what's left of the Rice-Ball. Zoro witnessed this scene with a glare and disgust.

"But I...worked so hard to make those." The little girl cried.

"Too bad!" Helmeppo said with anger as he slipped the paper from his blazer. "You must've not read the 'Notice' that was posted."

With that, Helmeppo began to read the 'Notice.'

Those who assist criminals in any way will be Executed!

-Captain Morgan

That got the little girl scared for her life which she will be killed by Captain Morgan, leaving Helmeppo laughing when he saw the look of her face.

"It seems even little brats fear my daddy." Helmeppo said with a smug smile.

"His daddy?" Luffy asked with confusion.

"So that guy's father is Captain Morgan?" Coby added with confusion.

"You, toss this kid up, right now." Helmeppo ordered when he pointed him with his thumb, leaving one of the Marine shocked of his order as he approached him, grabbing his collar.

"I said throw her over the wall, soldier!" Helmeppo repeated his order as he warned him with a threat. "Now if don't follow my orders, I'll tell me father."

"Yes sir! I'll do it!" The Marine said hesitantly as he approach the girl, planned to grab her, but she pleaded him. "Sorry about this, try curling up into a ball."

With that, the Marine tosses the little girl over the wall, leaving her screaming for her life as the hooded teen jumped, grab hold of the little girl while landed on his feet, leaving both Luffy and Coby relieved as the teen spoke.

"Are you alright?" He questions.

"Yeah, thanks mister." The little girl thanked him as Coby rush towards her, checking on her to see if she's alright while Luffy looked straight at the Marine Base with serious expression.

"Damn you!" Zoro cursed him as he laughed.

"You're just dead set on staying alive, aren't you?" Helmeppo asked with a smile on his face.

"That's right, I'm gonna make it to the month without any problems." Zoro answered seriously.

"Right, good luck with that!" Helmeppo told him with a smug as he laughed it off while leaving the crucifixion yard.

"Only 10 days left!" Zoro told him with a reminder.

"Oh, you still assume you'll make to end of those 10 days?" Helmeppo taunts with a laugh as he and the Marine's left.

Meanwhile, Coby was checking on the girl which she was alright thanks to the hooded teen.

"How can that man be so cruel?" Coby questions.

"It's because he was living the life of luxury." The hooded teen answered. "The reason why the people recoiled is because they feared of Zoro and Captain Morgan."

"Hey, what do you mean by that?! You shouldn't talk to Captain Morgan like that!" Coby exclaims with a shout, scolding him.

"I've heard about them from those people in Shells Town." He told him with his calm tone. "However, you can believe what you want, but you need to realize that not all Marine's are good."

Coby was shocked when the teen told him about the Marine's as he turned to Luffy which he's gone.

"What the!? Where did he go!?" Coby exclaimed, looking for Luffy.

"He must've gone ahead to Zoro." He answered as Coby turned to him. "I'll go and take her home."

With that, the hooded teen was taking the little girl home, leaving Coby alone in the Marine Base while Luffy was meeting Zoro as he looked at him.

"So I hear you're a bad guy." Luffy said with blank expression.

"Are you still here?" Zoro ask with annoyance.

"You're stuck out here for all the world to see nothing." Luffy told him. "You really all that strong?"

"Mind you own business!?" Zoro shouts at him as Luffy walked to him with a sigh.

"If I were you, I'd probably starve to death in three days." Luffy advised him with a smile.

"I've got more spirit than you could ever have." Zoro told him with a smirk. "Which is how I'm gonna survive tis ordeal. This I swear."

"Ha! What a weirdo." Luffy said with a big grin as he was about to leave.

"Wait, hold on!" Zoro stopped him, earned his attention as he look at the dirty Rice-Ball. "Could you...picked that up for me."

Luffy wasn't sure about that as he picked it up.

"You're gonna eat this?" Luffy questions. "Cause it's mostly a ball of mud."

"Shut Up And Give It To Me, Now!?" Zoro ordered him seriously.

With that, Luffy tossed the dirty Rice-Ball to Zoro as he eats it, but he coughed.

"Should have listen to me." Luffy warned him.

"It was good." Zoro compliments, leaving Luffy confused. "Thanks for the food."

Luffy couldn't help but smile as he left the Marine Base which he noticed that the little girl wasn't here.

"Hey, Coby." Luffy called him. "Where's the little girl?"

"Oh, he was taking the little girl home." Coby answered.

Which both he and Luffy noticed the hooded teen and the little girl were heading home as they followed them.

Meanwhile, the hooded teen was taking the little girl home as she pointed the direction. They went inside of the restaurant which the woman noticed the customer was here, but she also notice the little girl was next to him.

"Rika, did you head in toward the Marine Base again?" She asked her. She has black eyes and brown hair. She wore a green shirt and an apron which she was working at the restaurant. "Rika, I thought I told you not to go to the Marine Base!?"

"Sorry mom." Rika apologize to her mother.

"I know you're trying to help Zoro, but if you ever get caught, you'll be executed." The mother told her daughter.

"But, he saved me when the Marine tossed me over the wall." Rika pointed out as the mother looked at him.

"Is it true?" The mother asked with worry.

"Yes." He nods. "The Marine tossed her over the wall only because of Helmeppo's orders."

She was shocked about what the Marine did, but felt relieved to see her daughter was alright.

"Well, I'm glad to hear that my daughter is alright." She said with a smile. "Would you like to take a seat?"

"Yes, thank you." The teen thanked her as he placed his lance against the table while sitting on the chair.

"What would you like, sir?" She asked.

"A chicken salad and water." He answered, getting a nod from her as she began to cook.

Luffy and Coby went inside of the restaurant, noticed that Rika was safe while the hooded teen was about to have his lunch. Rika walk towards the two, wanted to talk in private as they headed towards the back room while she placed the chicken salad and a glass of water on the table.

"Thank you." He thanked her as he placed some berries on the table while taking his mask off and eat his lunch in peace.

However, his moments peace was disrupted as Helmeppo barged in the restaurant, slamming his foot on the table while slouching on the chair with his smug smile.

"I'm hungry, bring us whatever you got and keep the check for yourself." Helmeppo ordered her with rude comment. "And bring me a bottle of your finest Moonshine or whatever crap you've serve and put some speed to it lady, I don't have all day."

With that, she poured some alcohol beverage on the glass while Luffy, Coby, and Rika came inside of the restaurant, looking at Helmeppo.

"Ah, that's more like it." Helmeppo said. "I'm trying to think something interesting to do here since I'm bored out of my skull here. I suppose I could-"

"Hey, could keep your voice down?" The hooded teen interrupts. "I'm trying to eat my lunch in peace."

Helmeppo turned to the teen with a glare as he spoke.

"Who do you think you are?" Helmeppo questioned with anger. "Do you even know who I am!?"

The hooded teen ignore his question as he eats his lunch.

"I'm talking to you, boy!?" Helmeppo exclaimed, getting angrier as the teen stopped eating.

"All I know was you were spoiled, self-centered, obnoxious, narcissist, and thinks nothing but yourself." The hooded teen comment, leaving Luffy laughing.

"HOW DARE YOU!? SIEZE HIM!?" Helmeppo yelled with anger as the Marines rushed after him, but they made a big mistake as the hooded teen grabbed his lance, slashing them with one swoop, leaving the Marines knocked out unconscious while Helmeppo was frightened of him. He hit him with the hilt of the lance, sending Helmeppo against the wall with authority and pointed at him with his lance.

"You...you just hit me!?" Helmeppo exclaimed.

"Only because you've made a grave mistake." He told him with anger.

"But you hit me!? I'm Captain Morgan's son!?" Helmeppo yelled at him, but failed to noticed that the hooded teens eye pupil's have changed into a dragon's eyes.

"I don't even care what you are." He said with a growl.

"You'll care after he execute you for this!?" Helmeppo yelled with teary eyes.

"Let him try, cause he'll die first." He said with venomous tone, leaving him scared as he roared. "GOOOOOOOO!?"

With that, Helmeppo and the Marines ran off out of the restaurant while his eyes turned to normal as he turned to the woman.

"I'm really sorry for this outburst." He apologized sincerely.

"No, it's quite alright." She said with a nervous smile as he returned to the table, eating his lunch while Luffy walk towards him.

"Hey, that was pretty cool the way you fight." Luffy said with a big smile. "Never like that guy anyway."

"I only did that whenever I was provoked." He told him. "He won't go far since I know where he was going."

"Oh yeah, the Marine Base." Luffy said as he turned to him. "Hey, join my crew."

"No, I journey out in the sea alone." He told him.

"Come on, don't you ever get lonely when you sail alone?" Luffy asked, raising his eyebrow.

"I like the solitude, it keeps me calm." He said with his calm tone.

"Look, I ran a pirate crew and I'm looking for people to join up." Luffy told him.

"Pirate life doesn't suit me and I've been doing so many odd jobs and collecting bounties which I've gone adventuring in the sea for a while." He said seriously. "But being a pirate, it won't work for me."

"What's wrong of being a pirate?" Luffy questions.

"They're vile and cruel to anyone and greedy for treasure which they always wanted the treasures and any trinkets they find." He answered.

"Come on, give me a break. I saw you fight against the Marines with that spear of yours." Luffy said with a shrug.

"That's because I'm a Dragoon." He told him. "They're the knights that have developed an aerial style combat that can pierce an enemy with the lance. There were a timeless conflict in between men and dragons."

"Yeah, that's cool and all, but I've already decided to have you in my crew." Luffy said with a smile, leaving him shocked.

"What!? You Can't Decide For Yourself!?" He shouted.

"You're the one who took down the Marines." Luffy reminded him.

"Well I did, but only if they try to provoke." He told him. "But I've already noticed the look on that cowards face that he's planning to kill Zoro."

"Guess I'll have him in my crew after I get him." Luffy shrugs.

"What?"

"So, if you want to help, you'll have to join my crew." Luffy said with a smile.

"Are you trying to face my wrath!?" He shouts with anger, a tick mark on his head.

With that, Luffy grabbed the hooded teen as he dragged him to the Marine Base while laughing, but stopped as he turned to him.

"Oh yeah, I didn't get your name." Luffy said to him while the teen gets up, dusting his clothes.

"It's Ventus Starwind." Ventus introduced himself.

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy." Luffy introduced himself with a big grin as they were heading toward the Marine Base.

Meanwhile at the Marine Base, the man named Captain Morgan was sitting on his chair, watching at the window while smoking his cigar. He's a notably tall, muscular man with tanned skin, blonde hair, and a steel jaw that was etched with the word Mowe. He wore his Marine attire, a large ornate overcoat that was draped over his shoulders, striped pattern blue trousers, and an axe on his right arm.

"I Am Great!" Morgan exclaimed.

"Yes sir! You are right Captain Morgan sir!" The Marine said, saluting his captain.

"And yet, the taxes we collect don't even compare to my sheer degree of greatness." Morgan said.

"Yes, right sir." The Marine agrees with fright. "I guess that the citizens wallets just aren't very deep these days sir."

"The issue at hand here is the level of respect for me." Morgan said, taking the cigar out of his mouth. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Suddenly, they heard the door was opening after the crying and whining which it was coming from Helmeppo who was holding his face.

"Daddy!?" Helpmeppo called his father while breathing frantically, earned his attention. "There's someone outside that I want you to slaughter and I want it done now!?"

While in the crucifixion yard, Zoro was still on binds against the wooden cross, thinking of his past life, fighting against the girl in swordsmanship which he was defeated and she told him that he was weak, but he made a promise to her which he can't afford to die in the place like this.

Snapping out of his thoughts as he look down to the ground, but noticed that Luffy was in front of him.

"You again. Don't you have things to do?" Zoro asked with annoyance.

"I'll untie you, but only if join my crew." Luffy told him with a smile.

"You're what?" Zoro questions.

"I run a pirate crew and I'm looking for people to join up." Luffy said, walking towards him.

"No way!" Zoro refused with a smirk. "I never stooped to join a criminal. Screw that business!"

"And what's wrong with being a pirate?" Luffy asked seriously.

"They're despicable like I ever wanted to join one." Zoro answered.

"Come on, give me a break. Everyone already knows you're some vicious bounty hunter always out for blood." Luffy said with a shrug.

"People can say whatever they want about me, but I've never done a single thing in my like that I regret." Zoro said as he smirked. "I will make it through this challenge and after that, I'll accomplish what I want."

"Yeah, that's great, but I've already decided that you're gonna be in my crew." Luffy said with a smile, turned away.

"What!? You Can't Do That!?" Zoro yelled at him.

"Hey, you're one of the best swordsman around." Luffy told him.

"Well, I am!" Zoro said with annoyance. "But that idiot Captain's son took mine away."

"Guess I'll just have to get it back for you." Luffy shrugs.

"What?"

"So if you want your swords, you're just gonna have to join my crew." Luffy suggested.

"Now You Really Pissing Me Off!?" Zoro yelled with annoyance, veins popping on his head.

Luffy ran towards the gates in the opposite direction, leaving Zoro shocked since Luffy would actually get his swords back.

"Wait, he's actually gonna bust in there all alone?" Zoro questions himself, noticed that Luffy was heading the wrong way as he spoke. "Hey genius, the base is in the other direction!"

Luffy stopped in his tracks, realizing he was heading the wrong way as he began to stretch his arms.

"Gum-Gum: Rocket" Luffy stretched his arms, reaching the other gates as he launched himself towards the Marine Base, leaving Zoro uttered with shock for what Luffy did to himself.

"Wha...What the hell is this guy?" Zoro questions himself with shock.

Meanwhile at the Marine Base, at the top of the tower, the Marines were pulling the huge statue of Captain Morgan which it took seventeen men to pull something so massive and heavy which they slowly pull the statue with all of their strength.

"That's it, stop right there." Captain Morgan ordered his men. "Now stand it up in one final pull."

However, Helmeppo didn't get his father's answer as he approaches him.

"Well Dad, are you gonna get revenge on this guy or what?" Helmeppo asked seriously, demands an answer from him. "I mean he just outright struck me in public. You never hit me before, why should he be able to!?"

"Do you have any remote idea as to why I never hit you?" Captain Morgan questions his son seriously. "Well?"

Helmeppo nervously smiled at his father as he spoke.

"Is it because you think I'm great?" Helmeppo answers which he answered wrong.

"No, it's because-" Captain Morgan then punched his son hard, sent him next to the rail with authority as he walk towards him, holding his axe. "You're a stupid fool who isn't even worth hitting."

With that, Captain Morgan walk towards his son, leaving him frightened.

"I don't want you to get the wrong idea." Captain Morgan said with his serious tone, grabbing Helmeppo with the tip of the axe. "The only one great around here is the man who called your father."

He than tossed Helmeppo down the floor as he turned to his men.

"Which reminds me, I heard a rat snuck into the crucifixion yard." Captain Morgan told him.

"Yes...that's right...the little girl, but I-I had her dealt with." Helmeppo told his father with frightened tone.

"I hope that mean's kill." Captain Morgan said heartlessly, hoping that the little girl's dead.

"No, I-I didn't kill her...she's just a kid." Helmeppo denies, much to Captain Morgan's disappointment.

"You there." Captain Morgan call one of his men. "Go into town, find this girl and kill her!"

"But...sir! You can't be serious!?" The Marine soldier exclaimed. "She's just a little girl, sir!"

"I don't care if she's a child or not." Captain Morgan told him, walking towards him. "Anyone who disobeys my orders is a traitor."

"No sir. I can't do it." The Marine soldier denied his Captain's orders which Morgan won't accept it as he hit him with his axe, leaving him unconscious and Helmeppo screaming.

"LIEUTENENT!?" The Marine soldiers shouted his Rank.

"You...You killed him!?" Helmeppo exclaimed with fright which Captain Morgan doesn't care.

"My strength was what I use to rise to the Rank of Captain." Captain Morgan said with his dark tone. "Listen, in this world, titles are what matter! That means by being the Captain of this base and the highest Ranking Officer, I am the most superior person as far as the eye can see. This means, that I do everything right, AM I CORRECT MEN!"

"Sir! You Are Correct, Sir!" The Marine soldiers agrees with fright, saluting their Captain.

"Let's put killing the girl on hold for now." Captain Morgan told his men as he turned his head to the statue. "Observe, the greatest symbol of my unending authority. It took years to complete, but here it is. Now Stand It Up! Display Me Greatness At The Top Of This Base For All To See!"

With that, seventeen men began to pull the huge statue up while Luffy approaches at the Marine Base.

"That's weird, there's nobody here." Luffy said with confusion, wondering where the Marine's have gone. "I've gotta find that crazy idiot son and give Zoro's sword back for him."

Luffy heard something what was going on up at the top of the Marine Base which the Marines were pulling the statue of Captain Morgan as the statue hand got bumped, leaving one of the Marines scared.

"You there! You bumped it." Captain Morgan said with his dark tone, approaching to his men.

When Luffy heard a sound, he look up at the top of the Marine Base.

"Sounds like something's going on up there." Luffy said.

One of the Marine's apologized to his Captain, but he about to be killed.

"I considered a slightest scratch on this." Captain Morgan said with anger. "Nothing less than a traitorous activity that's punishable by death!"

"Guess I should check it out." Luffy said as he stretched his arm, grabbing hold of the top of the Marine Base. "Gum-Gum: Rocket"

Captain Morgan raised his axe as he was about to kill one of his men, but Luffy launched himself which he took it too far, earned his attention when Luffy grabbed a rope that was tied to a statue which it got pulled and landed on the rail. The Marines tried to hold as Luffy landed, but the ropes were snapped into two as the statue was broken apart, the top half was fallen towards the ground, leaving the Marines including Captain Morgan's mouths agaped with shock.

"Sorry about that." Luffy apologizes with a sweat drop which what he did was an accident. However, the statue was broken apart when it landed on the ground.

"SIEZE HIM AND HOLD HIM SO I CAN KILL HIM MYSELF!?" Captain Morgan ordered with a yell and anger.

"Sir, Right Away." The Marines said with a salute and fright. Luffy grab hold of Helmeppo.

"Hey it's you." Luffy said with a smile, leaving Helmeppo scream with fright, but Luffy grabbed him. "I've been looking for you all over the place, you have something I really need to get back."

With that, Luffy ran off with Helmeppo which he wants him to let go.

"Do Not Let That Man Escape!?" Captain Morgan shouts with an order as the Marines were on pursuit.

"Captain! There's someone in the crucifixion yard." One of the Marines informed his Captain, earned his attention as Captain Morgan looked at the crucifixion yard, noticed two people were running to Zoro.

"I'm surrounded by traitors." Captain Morgan said with pure rage as he assembled his men to head straight toward the crucifixion yard.

Meanwhile inside of the Marine Base, the girl manage to infiltrate without problems. She is a slim young woman with an average height with orange hair and brown eyes. She wore a white shirt with blue stripe patterns, an orange mini-skirt with two white rings on each side, and brown high-heeled boots.

She was about to unlock the door, but she heard the Marines as she hides which their minds were Luffy holding Helmeppo since their on pursuit.

"Someone's rocking the boat." She said with annoyance as she ran off.

While Luffy was running all over the place to find Zoro's sword while holding Helmeppo like he was a ragdoll.

"Okay, so tell me where's Zoro's sword is?" Luffy questions while running.

"I'll tell you I promise." Helmeppo said with teary eyes and his nose was running with snot. "Just please stop dragging me from across the carpet."

"Find, which way?" Luffy asks when he stopped.

"In my room, you just past it...behind you on the left." Helmeppo answered, pointed his room behind him.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" Luffy asked with annoyance as he turned his head. "Now we gotta go all the way back."

"Don't Move!"

"Except Letting Helmeppo Go!"

"No way." Luffy refused as he hold Helmeppo as a shield. "But you can try shooting me if you want."

"NO! PLEASE DON'T SHOOT! DON'T! GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!" Helmeppo yelled with fright as Luffy ran towards the Marines.

Meanwhile at the crucifixion yard, Coby began to work by untie the ropes so Zoro will leave.

"You have to get out of here, Zoro." Coby told him.

"That maniac's gonna kill you for what you're doing right now." Zoro warned them.

"I can't stand to watch the Marines behave like this anymore." Coby said with hurtful tone. "The true Marine should be honorable."

"Look kid, I'm can't leave." Zoro told him seriously. "I got ten days left and then their-"

"I'm afraid not, Zoro." Ventus shook his head. "That man named Helmeppo was planned to execute you by tomorrow."

"They're what?" Zoro questions with shock.

"He never holds true to your word." Ventus said with his calm tone. "He was planning to kill you. Coby, move."

Ventus draws out his lance as Coby moves. Zoro glares at him, but Ventus used his lance to cut the ropes loose.

"Thanks, kid." Zoro thanked him. "So, is it true that this moron couldn't keep his word?"

"I'm afraid so." Ventus nods. "The Marines were on pursuit with Luffy which he was causing quite a ruckus."

"Don't worry, we're not gonna ask you to become a pirate." Coby assured him with a smile. "But I hope you and Ventus will help him, both of you have a lot of strength you can offer. Luffy is the only person here who can actually save you from execution and of course, you two are the only ones you can save him from a very similar fate."

Suddenly, Ventus took a whiff as he smells danger.

"There here." Ventus said seriously, leaving Zoro and Coby confused.

"End Of The Line!" Captain Morgan said with authority as the Marines pointing guns at them. "For the crime of treason against me, I sentence you three to die from where you stand."

Coby screams for his life while Zoro and Ventus looked at the Marines with shocked.

Meanwhile, Luffy finally made his way to Helmeppo's room.

"This looks like yours." Luffy said with a smile when he looked at the interior design, but he noticed three swords against the wall as he walk towards them. "Hold on, there three here. Hey weirdo, which one of these is Zoro's?"

However, Helmeppo was out cold when his eyes was teary and swirled with his mouth wide open with great fright and shock.

"Guess he passed out." Luffy said as he looked at the window, noticed that Ventus, Zoro, and Coby are in trouble from the Marines. "Coby! Ventus!"

Coby was scared when he was about to be executed, but Zoro and Ventus were glaring at the Marines, readied his lance while getting into his fighting stance.

"You've been pulling some interesting moves around here. What is this, some poorly executed coo? You three planned with a Straw Hat?" Captain Morgan questions with a scowl.

"I've always fought alone, like a real man does. Not like a coward who hides behind his wall of expendable cronies." Zoro answered with a scowl.

"I always fought alone as well unlike you who hides behind his men like a coward." Ventus added with a scowl.

"Roronoa Zoro." Captain Morgan called his name. "Don't you dare underestimate me. You may be a strong fighter, but under my authority, you're just a rat who would go out with a trash. And Ventus Starwind, you may showed some promising talents despite your young age, but you wasted your life to die. Take Aim!"

The Marines aim at the three with their guns. While Luffy tied those three swords with the rope as he stretched himself, grabbing hold of the window.

"Gum-Gum: Rocket" Luffy launched himself.

"Fire!" Captain Morgan ordered, but Luffy busted out of the window as he landed in front of Coby, Zoro, and Ventus as he blocked the Marines gunfire.

"What!?" Zoro exclaimed with shock.

"Luffy, no." Coby said with teary eyes.

"STRAW HAT!" Captain Morgan called him with anger.

However, those bullets were stretching Luffy's body, leaving the Marines shocked while Luffy smiled.

"See ya!" Luffy said, bouncing those bullets right back at them as he laughed. "That won't work on me. Told you I was strong."

"What...the...!? Who the hell are you?" Zoro questions with shock.

"My names Monkey D. Luffy." Luffy introduced himself with a smile. "And I'm gonna be King of the Pirates."

That's it for the 1st chapter.
