This is the 4th chapter. At the month of February, Valentine's Day is coming up, not my favorite holiday. Just to let you guys know that Valentine's Day is definitely not for everybody which there's not much love around these days. Plus some might cheat on one another, believe me I've watched some series of 'Cheaters', it wasn't pretty and all I can tell you is 'Love Stinks'.

A Mysterious Thief Nami and A Terrifying Power! Buggy the Clown Pirate

Orange Town

When the red-haired thief have stolen the chart to the Grand Line, she's been chased by a group of pirates. However, they've heard the cannon-fire when it shot the bird, but what they saw was Luffy came crashing down to the ground. What shocked them was that there weren't any brunt marks nor wounds on him which he was still alive.

She her shock expression have changed into a smirk which she have got a plan to get away from the group of pirates. She was planning to use Luffy as a scapegoat so she can get away from them.

"Geez, I'm so hungry." Luffy whines when he hold his stomach which he's pretty much hungry since he hasn't eaten anything for a week since he set sail with his crew in the sea.

"Oh hey, boss. Thanks for coming to save me." She said with a lie, walking towards Luffy with a fake smile.

That got Luffy's attention when he looked at her with confusion, didn't know her or why she called him boss.

"Who are you?" Luffy asked.

That got the group of pirates glaring at them as the red-haired thief began to run off, leaving Luffy dumbfounded.

"Their all yours now, boss. Have fun." She said as she made a getaway towards the building to hide from those pirates.

"Hey, that girl is getting away!"

"That's okay. We've got her boss now."

"You're in trouble, kid. You should've let your crony fit for herself."

They turned their attention to Luffy which he was still hungry as he turned to them.

"You guys know of anywhere good to eat around here?" Luffy asked, failed to realize of his current situation.

"Foods the least of your worries now!"

The muscular pirate then punched Luffy at the side of his face, but Luffy saw his straw hat came flying off which he was now angry. Luffy retaliates by punching the muscular pirate in the face, sent him flying to the ground. The two were shocked of seeing their friend got knocked out. Luffy then caught his straw hat when it came to his hand, placing his straw hat on his head.

"You better keep your hands off my hat!" Luffy warned them seriously which those two pirates were now angry at him.

"YOU BASTARD!"

Meanwhile, the red-haired thief manage to climb at the top of the building since she was now at the rooftop as she was heading towards to Luffy. She was worried about his well-being.

"I wonder if they've killed that poor guy yet." She wondered.

Apparently, the two pirates then rush after Luffy when they were about to kill him with their blades.

"Gum-Gum: Pistol" Luffy then stretched his arms out to punch two pirates, leaving them knocked out in a matter of seconds.

"Wow." She said with awe as she turned to Luffy. "You're really strong."

Then, Luffy look up when he saw the red-haired thief at the roof as she jumps down to the balcony.

"Even though, both of them had sabers. You beat the bare-handed." She said with a smile.

"Hey, you're the girl who set me up." Luffy said, recognized her. "Who are you?"

"I'm a talented thief who steal strictly from pirates. The name's Nami." Nami introduced herself. "Hey, wanna team up with me?"

"Um, thanks anyway lady. But I think I'll pass." Luffy declined with less interest as he walk away.

"Hold on." Nami said as she landed down to the ground, rush towards Luffy. "At least think about it first."

Until, Luffy's stomach was growling which he's still hungry.

"I just remembered." Luffy said, collapsed down to his knees. "I'm still so hungry."

"Well come with me and I'll find you something to eat." Nami offered with a smile.

"Yeah? Were you serious?" Luffy asked with a smile, quickly stood up.

Nami gave him a nod as she and Luffy then began to find a place so he can eat.

Meanwhile at the top of the huge building, Buggy was starting to grow impatient since his crew didn't find Nami or the chart to the Grand Line until one of his crew member was giving his Captain the bad news.

"You're telling me they still haven't caught the thief?" Buggy asked furiously.

"...Uh...Not yet...But..." His crew member answered, scared of his Captain. "But they should be in pursuit, right now Captain, sir."

"Now explain to me, when the world did she manage to get her hands on that chart, huh?" Buggy demands an answer, leaving his crew member even more scared. "If we're preparing to enter the Grand Line and go on a rampage, then why wasn't chart properly guarded?"

"I don't know, sir...The map was just sitting out plain as the nose on your face." His crew member answered, leaving Buggy mad.

"What did you say!?" Buggy questioned with anger when his vein popped out of his head when his crew member insults his nose.

"I-I mean it was easy for her to find and take it." His crew told his Captain, causing Buggy to get more angry.

"DID YOU SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MY NOSE!?" Buggy yelled at his crew member when he stormed toward his crew member.

Buggy revealed himself as a slim blue-haired man with an appearance resembling a clown. His face has a white crossbones make-up on his face, blue lines near both of his eyes, red lipstick, and a big red nose. He wore a striped red and white shirt, white gloves, sash around his waist, a pair of loose pants reach down to his calves, a pair of striped socks, and a brown pointy shoes. He also wore a purple neckerchief around his neck, an orange fur-lined captain's coat around his shoulders, and an orange hat with a jolly roger.

"So, are you trying to tell me you find my nose funny? Is my nose amusing?" Buggy asked with his smile, but anger expression.

"...No you misunderstood!" His crew member answered, now scared of his captain.

"Oh no! You were quite clear!" Buggy said with killing intent.

That got his entire crew looked at their Captain with horror when one of his crew member began to crawl back away from his Captain, but Buggy used his Devil Fruit to grab hold of his crew member, causing him to choke his crew member while floating towards back to him.

"Tell me, who am I?" Buggy asked his crew member.

"...Captain...Buggy..." His crew member answered, running out of air.

"And what happens if someone defies me?" Buggy ask again.

"...Flashy...Death Awaits...Them...Please...Forgive...Me!" His crew member pleads as Buggy then lets go of him, leaving his crew member collapse down to the ground while gasping for air.

"Quit your groveling!" Buggy ordered his crew member. "I'll overlook your slip-up and forgive you this time. But you better get that chart back. And don't screw up again! Or else!"

"Yes Captain Buggy!"

With that, Buggy's entire crew then began to search for Nami since she stole the chart to the Grand Line when he went back inside of his tent.

Meanwhile, both Nami and Luffy have found a place as he began to eat a sandwich with only one bite.

"So, do you live in this big house all by yourself?" Luffy asked with his mouthful.

"This isn't my house, I'm just staying here for the time being." Nami told him. "Everyone's lift this town because of Captain Buggy."

"So you're just a petty thief?" Luffy questions.

"How rude!" Nami retorts. "I only steal from people who deserve it, pirates. So don't compare me to some scumbag petty thief."

"A thief's a thief as far as I'm concern." Luffy said without care, gulped his sandwich.

"My goal is to earn a 100 million berries no hard it is or how long it takes." Nami told him.

"What do you need so many berries for?" Luffy asks.

"It's a secret." Nami answered, turned away. "But with this chart of the Grand Line, a 100 million is now a definite possibility."

Nami then hide the chart underneath her shirt, but Luffy knew what she meant about the chart to the Grand Line.

"The chart." Luffy said, as he turned to her. "So you must be a navigator?"

"I'm the most skilled navigator you'll ever like to meet." Nami brags with a smirk.

"Oh wow, that's perfect. Then how about you join my crew. I've been looking to recruit a navigator." Luffy offered with a smile when he stood up from his seat.

"Really?" Nami asks with a smile.

"Sure, you can be our newest crew member." Luffy said.

"No!" Nami refused with a scowl, leaving Luffy confused as her expression softens a little. "I suppose this means you're a pirate?"

"Yeah, I made a solemn promise." Luffy said as he took his straw hat off his head. "I promise the guy who gave me his hat that I form a crew and become the Greatest Pirate Ever."

Nami then slammed the table with anger.

"There's nothing in this world that I despise more pirates. I only like money and tangerines." Nami told him seriously.

"Come on." Luffy pleads, placing his straw hat back on. "Be our navigator."

"I said no!" Nami refused as walk towards the window.

"Your loss." Luffy said with disappointed tone as he act the bread.

Nami have overheard that the group of pirates have no luck of finding Nami or the chart which they're pretty desperate and they don't want to be killed by Buggy. Nami knew that she can't hide forever since needs to come up with a plan.

'I've gotta do something about them.' Nami mentally thought as she look at Luffy. She form a smirk expression which she have an idea as she then walk towards him. "I guess I might consider joining you, but only if you'll agree to a certain conditions."

"Really? I'll do anything." Luffy said, turned to her.

"Well then I want you come with me to pay a little visit to Buggy the Pirate, but first." Nami explains as she then use a rope to tie Luffy around his body and his wrists.

"Why did you have to tie me up?" Luffy questions with confusion.

"The ropes just for appearances." Nami told him, leaving Luffy smiled.

"Well okay then, I've been looking forward to meeting some other pirates. So let's get going." Luffy said as he walk, but Nami was still holding the rope.

"Just hold your horses. What's the big rush?" Nami asked as she dragged along to meet Buggy.

Meanwhile, Buggy's crew have told him that Nami have got away when she stole the chart to the Grand Line, leaving Buggy even more furious.

"WWWWHHHHAAAAAAAAT!? ARE YOU TELLING ME THE THIEF GOT AWAY!?" Buggy yelled at his crew, leaving the three scared.

"Please forgive us, Captain Buggy!"

"I've Never Seen A More Pathetic Group Than You Three! Time To Die!" Buggy yelled with anger which the three were now scared of their lives.

Until, one of his crew member rush towards his Captain to inform him the news.

"Captain Buggy! I have news!"

"What is it?" Buggy questioned, not in a mood for the news.

"The girl who stole our chart is back and with a prisoner."

"WHAT!?" Buggy exclaimed with surprised look on his face.

Which his crew member was right when both Nami and Luffy have arrived, leaving Buggy's crew member surprised that Nami have come back with Luffy and the chart to the Grand Line. However, the three of Buggy's crew have noticed Nami.

"It's her!"

"That's the sneaky thief who stole the chart!"

But Nami ignored them as she and Luffy turned to Buggy. Nami then shove Luffy which he was sent to the ground.

"I've captured the thief, Captain Buggy the Clown." Nami said as she walk towards him with the chart. "And here's your chart back."

"Not that I don't appreciate it, but why the sudden change of heart, little girl?" Buggy questioned her with a smirk.

Nami then extend the chart to Buggy which he then take the chart.

"I had another fight with my boss and I just couldn't take it anymore." Nami explains with a smile. "So I thought I'd see if I join your crew."

Buggy then began to glare at Nami with a snort, leaving his crew members scared which they believe that their Captain was angry and thought he'll use the Devil Fruit Power, leaving Luffy questioned about Buggy's ability. However instead of anger, Buggy was laughing.

"Your fed up, huh? I must admit, you're an amusing girl. I like you, of course you can join my crew." Buggy accepts with a smile while laughing, leaving Nami smirked which her plan was working.

'I'm successfully infiltrate them. Pirates are so dumb and easy to manipulate.' Nami thought when Buggy's crew placed Luffy in a small prison.

"Hey guys, why am I in a cage?" Luffy asked which he failed to notice of his current situation.

Buggy's crew members then smirked which they've finally got the chart and happy to have Nami as their new crew member.

"It's a great day to be a pirate." Buggy said with a smirk, chuckled. "Girl, what do you call yourself?"

"I'm Nami." Nami answered.

"Then let's have a welcome party for our new friend, Nami. Let's celebrate!" Buggy said with a smile, leaving his entire crew cheered as they began to celebrate.

Some of Buggy's crew began to drink, some were doing acrobatic tricks or any other tricks, and some were eating. However, the one who wasn't eating was Nami which Buggy noticed about her.

"What's wrong?" Buggy asked. "We're throwing this party and you're honored. So, eat up."

"Thanks for the party, Captain Buggy." Nami thanked him with a smile, but turned into a smirk. 'I'll just keep my eyes peeled for a chance to take back that chart. Maybe I'll swipe all of Buggy's treasure too while I'm at it.'

Luffy then stretched his arm to grab hold of the food which he couldn't reach that far, but he was close to grab hold of it. But his arm then stretched back to him, leaving him down and left empty-handed.

While Buggy's entire crew were partying til their hearts content, Buggy then began to laugh.

"This is such a flashy party." Buggy said as he ordered his crew. "Now listen up! Men it's time to prepare the Buggy Ball!"

With that, Buggy's crew cheered as they prepare the cannon which it was aiming at the town. One of the crew pressed the presser hard while the other loaded the big red cannonball. When the cannon was load, they inform Buggy that the cannon was ready to fire.

"Wha? What are doing with that thing?" Nami questioned skeptically.

"Just observe. The awesome might of the cannonball." Buggy told her with a smirk. "Light it!"

With that, one of Buggy's crew then light up the match to burn the fuse. They then covered their ears, leaving Nami too scared of what comes next while Buggy was just smiling and Luffy was looking at the cannon. Suddenly, the cannon fired the cannonball, destroyed the buildings.

Meanwhile at the docks, both Zoro and Ventus have finally made their way at the island, but they've heard a cannon-fire which it was coming from pretty far.

"That was one heck of an explosion." Zoro said stoically.

"It look like it was one of Captain's Buggy Balls."

"Buggy Balls?" Zoro ask with a smirk.

But, Ventus then took a whiff which he was smelling that coming from here in town.

"Kid, what are you doing?" Zoro questions, raising his eyebrow. Ventus ignored his question as he continues to smell which he got the scent.

"He's here. Luffy was here in this island." Ventus told him, leaving Zoro surprised. "However, I'm smelling something else."

"Okay, what?" Zoro asked as Ventus continues to smell.

"Black powder and...oh no." Ventus said with shock. "If it's who we think it is, then Luffy might be in trouble."

Zoro gave him a nod with an understanding which he figured that Luffy might've done something stupid.

"Well kid. Lead on." Zoro said seriously, earned a nod from him.

With that, Zoro and Ventus began to head out towards the building which they were hot on that trail.

"So, would care to tell me what you really are?" Zoro questions, without looking at him.

"I'm more than just a human. I'm a half-breed between a human and dragon." Ventus told him. "I'll explain later, but right now, we need to get to Luffy."

Zoro would wanted to ask him, but he's right about it as they headed to where Luffy was held.

Meanwhile at the top of the building, Buggy's crew have cheered when they have seen the Buggy Ball destroyed the buildings with only one shot. Both Nami and Luffy have witnessed the shot with shock.

"That was flashy. With these Buggy Balls and my Devi Fruit powers, I should have no problem conquering the Grand Line." Buggy chuckled with his confident smirk as he turned to Nami. "Right, Nami?"

"Right. Yes, of course." Nami said with a fake smile.

"Huh!?" Luffy exclaimed, earned their attention. "But it's my destiny to conquer the Grand Line."

That got Buggy growled with anger when Luffy have told them.

"And then I'm gonna become King of the Pirates." Luffy said with blank expression.

"Shut up idiot!" Nami said with annoyance, not wanted him to blow cover.

That got Buggy laugh at Luffy's goal as he turned to Nami.

"I can see why you're sick of him, Nami." Buggy said with a smirk.

"Yeah I know." Nami agrees. "He never takes anything seriously, thinks the life is a big game. He acts like a little kid."

"I see." Buggy said, leaving Nami confused. "Then how about I give you a Buggy Ball to blow away your boss?"

That got Nami shocked since Buggy offered her.

"It'll be a great opportunity to prove your loyalty to me, you new Captain." Buggy told her. "Men!"

With that, Buggy's crew then change the cannons rotation while change it's target to Luffy as she turned to Buggy.

"That's alright, Captain. We don't have to finish him quite yet, let's get back to the welcoming party and just have more fun." Nami said with a nervous smile as Buggy turned to her.

"This is my of having more fun." Buggy told her with a huge grin. He then give the matches to Nami which she was hesitant since he want her to kill Luffy. Buggy's crew then tell Nami 'Fire!' which they want her as a new member of the pirate crew, but she didn't want to kill him. Nami was in a serious dilemma.

'If I don't shoot, I'll be killed.' Nami mentally thought as she turned to Luffy. 'But if I do shoot, then I'm no bette than these pirates.'

"Now light the fuse Nami!" Buggy demands with a huge smile. Nami didn't want to kill Luffy which he was staring to grow impatient. "Hey, you're not wimping out on me, are you?"

Then Luffy noticed that Nami was trembling with hesitation and fear which he knew that she won't fire the cannon.

"What's the matter? Your hands are shaking." Luffy said with a smile, leaving Nami shocked. "That's what happens when you take on pirates with half-ass resolve."

"Resolve to do what?" Nami questions skeptically. "To kill someone like it was nothing? Was that a pirates resolve?"

"No." Luffy answered. "You gotta be willing to risk your own life."

That got Nami scowled when Luffy told her about the resolve which hers wasn't even a resolve. Until, one of Buggy's crew snatched the matches away from her when she turned to him.

"Here, new chick. Quit being such a tease, let me show you how to light the cannon." One of his crew member said when he light the match as he was about to light the fuse. Nami's eyes were widened while Luffy was about to get killed, but Nami used her bo staff to stop him by hitting him in the head, leaving Buggy and his crew shocked of Nami's action. Luffy was little confused since she saved him as Nami turned to Buggy.

"My mistake. Sorry." Nami apologized, causing Buggy to growl with anger.

"Nami!? What's the meaning of this outrage?" Buggy questions, glaring at her.

"I'm sorry." Nami apologizes again.

"What's wrong!? Shoot him already!" Buggy demanded her to fire the cannon with anger.

"Huh, so now you've decided to save me?" Luffy asked with confusion, caused her to look at him.

"Don't be so stupid!" Nami retorts, readied her bo staff. "I'm not doing this for you, you idiot. I jut don't want to lure myself to the level of these inhuman pirates."

"Okay, thanks anyway." Luffy thanked her.

"Pirates took the life of a person very dear to me, I'll never be one of them." Nami told him seriously.

"Oh, I see." Luffy said, but he noticed that the fuse has already ignites as it began to head towards the cannon. "Nami! The Fuse!"

That got Nami's attention as she was about to stop the fuse.

"So you think pirates are just inhuman filth, is that right?" Buggy questions with anger. "Get Her Men!"

With that, the four acrobat pirates jumped after Nami since she's gonna be busy fighting them as she then use her bo staff to attack them, but they leap over it while counter her. That cause Nami to lose her bo staff as she goes after the fuse. Luffy was panicking when keep repeating 'Water!' which there was no water at the top of the building. Nami continues to rush after the fuse which she manage to get there in time as she then grabbed the fuse, causing her to scream in pain which it caused her to have burnt marks on her hands, but manage to stop the fuse when Luffy yelled at her as the three pirates were about to attack her from behind.

Suddenly, both Zoro and Ventus have stopped them with their weapons when Nami looked at them behind her.

"Hey now. It's not very nice of you guys to gang up on the poor girl." Zoro told them with a scowl.

"Zoro! Ventus!" Luffy called them with a huge grin.

When the four pirates were down to the ground, Zoro turned his head to her.

"Are you hurt?" Zoro asked, leaving Nami confused. "I said are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine I think." Nami answered.

"Whew. What a relief." Luffy said with relief. "I'm glad you found us. Now hurry up and get me out of here."

"How did you ever get yourself into this situation?" Ventus questioned with annoyance. "First, you were caught by a bird due to your carelessness and now you've got locked up in a cage."

"It's an interesting story actually." Luffy answered.

However, Buggy's crew were shocked since they've noticed Luffy have a crew member named Roronoa Zoro who was a renowned bounty hunter. Nami was also shocked when they've heard them about Zoro, but she was confused as Zoro and Ventus were heading towards Luffy.

"So, your Zoro?" Buggy questions with a smirk, earned their attention. "If you're here for my head, you've got quite the struggle waiting for you."

"No, not interested." Zoro told him. "I gave up pirate hunting. I'm here for our friend."

"But I'm interested though." Buggy told him. "Killing you would boast my reputation."

"If you try, you'll die." Zoro warned him with a threat, leaving Buggy readied his knives.

"Oh, is that so?" Buggy asked with a smirk.

"I tried to warn you, but oh well." Zoro said with a sigh.

Buggy's crew began to cheer for their Captain since he was ready to fight against Zoro. Buggy then lick his knife with his sinister grin while Zoro readied his three swords. Nami, Luffy, and Ventus were watching since this fight was a stand-off. With that, Buggy then charge after Zoro when he positioned himself.

"Die Flashily!" Buggy shouts with his grin, but Zoro then sliced him with only less than a second, leaving Buggy in pieces.

Buggy's crew and Nami were shocked when Buggy was defeated as Zoro then sheathed his three swords while Buggy fell down to the ground in pieces, but Ventus knew that this fight was too easy since he noticed that there was no blood on Buggy.

"That wasn't much of a fight, now was it?" Zoro asked with disappointment tone.

"Oh Wow! He's weak, way to go Zoro." Luffy said.

"No way." Nami exclaimed with shock, but heard that Buggy's crew were snickered.

Both Luffy and Nami were wondering why they were laughing which they knew that their Captain was dead, but Buggy was still alive and was about to stab Zoro from behind. However, Ventus manage to grab hold of Buggy's hand with his dragonic grip, causing Buggy to wince with pain. Buggy was trying to pull his hand, but Ventus won't budge when he then tightened his grip.

"Know this Buggy. I don't take kindly to anyone who stab my friend in the back." Ventus said with a glare, dilated into dragon eyes.

"Thanks, kid." Zoro thanked him with a smirk.

Ventus gave him a nod as he finally let go of Buggy's hand while turned his dragonic hand back into a normal hand while Buggy reattach his limbs.

"Damn You! I'll Get You For That You Brat!?" Buggy yelled with anger.

"Wait, how did you know that Buggy isn't dead?" Nami questions.

"I figured that this fight was too easy. So, I took a whiff at Buggy's scent which they're weren't any traces of blood from his body since Zoro have sliced him in pieces." Ventus explains. "If I have guess, I believe that Buggy the Clown has a Devil Fruit powers."

That got Nami and Buggy's crew shocked since Ventus was able to figure it out as Buggy then began to laugh with amusement.

"Very observant, I did ate the Devil Fruit. I ate the Chop-Chop Devil Fruit." Buggy told him with a smirk. "I'm a Chop-Chop person and I won't ever be defeated by a sword."

"His limbs reattached?" Nami asked with shock. "And I always thought Devil Fruits were just a story that pirates told."

"So he's a Chop-Chop man? That's pretty freaky." Luffy said dumbfounded which he doesn't have room to talk.

"Then what about my lance?" Ventus said with a glare readied his lance.

"You can try all you want, but anything that slashes won't effect on me." Buggy told him.

"Cyclone" Ventus then use his lance to fire a small burst of wind, sending Buggy flying up in the air.

Buggy's crew, Nami, and Zoro were shocked of seeing Ventus can use the wind ability which they're gonna be a lot of questions that needed to be answer as Luffy spoke.

"Zoro! Turn The Cannon!" Luffy ordered him, leaving Zoro confused but noticed that smile of his Captain which he understands.

"I gotcha." Zoro said with a smirk.

'Nothing make sense anymore. This is why I hate pirates.' Nami mentally thought.

"Hey, kid. When I give you the signal, I want you to land Buggy in front of his crew." Zoro told him.

"Alright!" Ventus nods with an understanding.

With that, Zoro then began to go underneath the cannon as he than use his strength to flip the cannon over while Buggy was being dragged by the cyclone, placing him in front of his crew.

"Zoro!" Ventus shouts his name and Zoro then flip the cannon as he turned to him.

"NOW KID!?" Zoro yelled.

Ventus then burst the cyclone to disappear as Buggy then crash down to the ground. Buggy stood up with anger, but noticed the cannon was aiming at him and his crew.

"UWWAAAAAAAA!? CRAP, THE CANNON'S POINTING AT US!? NNNOOOOO!?" Buggy yelled with fright.

"Hurry, light it!" Zoro told her, leaving her confused. "Do it now!"

"Right." Nami said with an understanding.

"WAIT! JUST WAIT! THE CANNON IS STILL LOADED WITH A SPECIAL BUGGY BALL! I DON'T WANNA GO OUT LIKE THIS! DYING BY MY OWN BALL!" Buggy yelled with plea, but it was too late. Nami already light the fuse as the cannon was about to fire. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST DID THAT YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE GIRL! WAIT! N- N-N-N-NOOO! STOP! STOP IT NOW!"

Suddenly, the cannon fire the Buggy Ball at Buggy and his entire crew.
