The Black Cat Duo! Sham and Butchie the Meowban Brothers
Gecko Island
When Luffy have finally made his towards the shore while sent those Black Cat pirates flying down at the slope, Django was shocked when he saw his crew were burnt, beaten, and battered. Usopp was completely shocked when he saw how strong Luffy, Ventus, and Zoro were which the three were very strong. Luffy then looked at him with angry look on his face
"Well, it's about time." Nami said.
Of course, Luffy panted heavily with anger, really wanted to blow some steam at those pirates.
"Wow, that was great. You guys are really that strong?" Usopp asks with shock.
"Since you didn't see me and the kid spar last night so yeah, we're strong." Zoro answered with a smirk.
Luffy then gave him a nod, still angry.
"The reason I'm strong is because I've been trained to use a lance and for becoming a Dragoon." Ventus added seriously.
"But I didn't know you can use fire!?" Nami exclaimed.
"That's because my affinities were measured. I can use fire, wind, lightning, light, and darkness." Ventus explains, leaving Nami and Usopp shocked. "That was called 'Magic', but it was also part of my abilities."
Luffy then turned his head to Usopp as he spoke.
"'Run straight North' he says. That's just great, I mean, how am I suppose to know which way North even is out here, huh?" Luffy questions angrily.
"Shut up!" Usopp retorts with a glare. "You're the one who ran away so sure of yourself, ready to take on anyone."
'It's more likely he got himself lost.' Ventus and Zoro thought in unison with a sweat drop.
"Well, I just got so excited, I started running you know?" Luffy said with a sigh.
"The sun rises high in the sky now." Django said when he look up in the sky. "And that means, Captain Kuro grows very impatient."
He then turned his head to his men, feel frightened of what Kuro would when he finds out that the Black Cat pirates haven't destroyed the village on time and he doesn't like tardiness.
"Men, don't just lie there! You can't tell me you're going to let them win!" Django exclaimed his men. "They're just a couple of idiots."
The Black Cat pirates then slowly stood up since they've got beat up by Luffy, slashed by Zoro, and getting slashed and burnt by Ventus. They then surrounds Django.
"The fact is, we don't have time to lollygag around here any longer." Django told his men, drew his pendulum from his trenchcoat. "If our enemy is strong, then we must become stronger than them."
Django then began to swing his pendulum at his men, hypnotizing them.
"Here, stare deeply into this ring. Now, I will count 1, 2, Django, and after that, you all began to grow stronger, your wounds and your burnt marks will heal and you will grow stronger still." Django told them.
"So, what is he doing? It looks weird." Luffy asks with confusion.
"Looks like hypnosis." Nami answered seriously. "He's trying to convince them their stronger than they are. Like that'll work."
Luffy wasn't listen since he kept looking at the pendulum. Usopp remembered that when Django tried to hypnotize him and Luffy last night which it worked on the rubber captain, but not Usopp since he manage to take cover.
"Stronger! Stronger!" Django said while Luffy continues staring at the pendulum. "1, 2, Django!"
When Django tipped his hat and finished hypnotizing them, the Black Cat pirates began to roar with rage, leaving Nami, Zoro, Usopp, and Ventus shocked when he saw one of the pirates punches the cliff with his enhanced strength. The part of the cliff was crumbling down as the Black Cat pirates cheered like wildmen.
"That one guy completely destroyed the cliff!" Zoro exclaimed with shock. "Now that's what I call power!"
"Not only that, but their wounds and burnt marks were completely healed!" Ventus added with shock. "Their power was enhanced and they've already gone berserk!"
"I always thought hypnotizing people was just a bunch of crap." Nami point out with shock.
"That was just one of them." Usopp stated with shock. "Imagine what the whole crew would do."
Luffy then lowered his head, covering his eyes with his straw hat with blank expression on his face.
"Now go and strike down those in your way!" Django shouts his men, leaving the Black Cat pirates roared with cheer as they began to charge after the five with crazed look on their faces.
"Hey guys, you might want to move." Zoro told them, earned their attention. "Luffy, Kid! You two and I will take it from here."
Ventus gave him a nod as he then readied his lance, but Luffy was just standing there in the slope, not moving. The Black Cat pirates are still going after them since they're in for a fight.
"Alright then, what now?" Zoro questions his Captain, causing Usopp to ran up the slope next to Nami. Zoro and Ventus then look at him with confusion while the Black Cat pirates are charging after them. "Uh Luffy?"
Luffy then began to growl as he then roared at the sky, gone berserk.
"Don't tell me you let that freak hypnotize you too!" Zoro exclaimed with annoyance, showing his white eyes and shark-like teeth.
'I had a feeling that he done something stupid.' Ventus thought with a sigh.
Luffy then charge after them in his berserk state while shouting.
"He really is a simple-minded idiot." Nami scoffed with annoyance.
"Gum-Gum: Gatling" Luffy then raise both of his fists while brining the barrage of punches at the Black Cat pirates, causing the number of pirates knocked out and sent flying down at the slope when Luffy stretched his arm back in its place.
"Damn you, Captain Kuro! You made one hell of a miscalculation." Django cursed his name with shock. "These are not your average village idiots."
Luffy then snarled, staring at the Black Cat pirates which they're right now scared of the rubber captain. He then began to ran down the slope while Black Cat pirates ran away with teary eyes and fright which Luffy ran pass through them. They fall down to the ground while Luffy was running, leaving Django scared, but Luffy run past him as he run towards the ships figurehead.
"Where is he going?" Zoro asks with confusion.
Apparently, Luffy was going after the ships figurehead, grabs hold of it while trying to removing it. The Black Cat pirates were questioning of what Luffy was doing, but he began to tear it up with his enhance strength as he then removes it while looking at the Black Cat pirates. Zoro, Usopp, and Ventus were shocked with disbelief when they saw Luffy tore up the ships figurehead.
"Oh no! He's gonna crush us with it! Everybody run!"
With that, the Black Cat pirates then ran up the slope while Luffy then slowly walk towards them, carrying the ships figurehead. Django then realizes that he made a fatal mistake of hypnotizing Luffy which it was accidental.
'I suppose watching him isn't helping anything.' Django thought as he then quickly drew his pendulum. "1, 2, Django, you will fall asleep!"
Luffy was still going after the Black Cat pirates while carrying the ships figurehead.
"1, 2, Django!" Django said, tipping his hat.
With that, Luffy then quickly falls asleep while collapsing down to the sandy ground along with the ships figurehead came tumbling down at the Black Cat pirates which they weren't lucky as they took that impact since they're completely scared of Luffy. When the dust clears, the five saw that the ships figurehead have made a quick work at the Black Cat pirates thanks to Luffy and his strength. Django then look at the figurehead with shock while looking at his crew being knocked out and Luffy was snoring which he's still alive only because of his rubber body.
Meanwhile at the village, Onion began explain this situation to Carrot and Pepper since he saw Kuro walking towards the shore up North a few hours ago, made Pepper shocked, but Carrot wasn't attention since he's been sleeping.
"What!? You saw Klahadore heading to the shore?" Pepper asks.
"Yeah, and he had those weird scary look on his face." Onion nods seriously.
"What about Kaya? Is she okay?" Pepper questions.
"We'll find out. The Usopp pirates are off." Onion said as the two boys turned to Carrot which he's still sleeping.
"Carrot, would you wake up!?" Pepper shouts, causing Carrot to wake up.
"Come on, it's way to early for this." Carrot complains, rubbing his eye.
"This is no time for laziness." Onion told him, walking towards him. "Horrible things can be happening right now."
Onion then grabbed his hand to help him stood up.
"I still think those pirates are going to attack soon." Onion said as the three boys ran towards the mansion. "I know our Captain said it was a lie, but I think he was the one that was lying."
"Yeah, you're probably right." Pepper agrees.
"It was weird, he seemed off yesterday. And Captain wasn't his usual self." Carrot added which the two agrees.
When they made their way towards the mansion, the three boys then began to sneak towards the bushes where Usopp usually went through to see Kaya without any problems when they saw the window was open and the curtains were flying.
"Where is she?" Onion questions with worry.
The three boys began to look at each other as they headed towards the bushes, grabbing the bush block with all their strength, but it won't even budge.
"Captain Usopp always come through here." Onion grunts as they finally let go of the bush block.
"It's useless, the thing stuck." Carrot said.
"Let's find another way." Pepper said as the three then began to find another way to get through.
While inside at the mansion, Kaya was starting to have a nightmare about Usopp since she didn't believe him about those pirates planning to attack at the village last night. She began to dream about him about to kill her for the insulting him for having the blood of the pirate and with that he killed her with a dagger.
Kaya woke up from the dream, shot herself up and screamed, breathes heavily while placing her hand on her head. She coughed a little as she then stood up from her bed, placing those slippers on her feet while draping her coat around her shoulders as she got out of her room. Kaya was heading towards the other room as she then knocks the door.
"Klahadore." Kaya called his name. "Klahadore, are you there?"
Kaya then opens the door since there's no respond, but what she saw was the room was a mess and the butler was lying on the floor with blood around his body.
"No! Merry!" Kaya said with shock as she rush towards him. "Merry! What's going on? What happened to you? Please wake up! Merry! Please don't die!"
Merry then turned his head with a bit of his strength, noticed that Kaya was here.
"Oh thank goodness, you're still alive." Merry said with relief. "I was worried."
"Merry." Kaya called his name as the butler then slowly tried to stood up, but he collapsed down on the ground. "You have to tell me who did this to you!?"
"Klahadore, that's who!?" Merry told her with bloodshot eyes, shedding tears. "He attacked me."
That got Kaya shocked when Merry told her that Klahadore attacked him last night which both of them failed to realize that Klahadore was actually Kuro the Captain of the Black Cat pirates.
"He's a...He's a pirate...He's never been anything else!?" Merry exclaimed.
"But, how could that be?" Kaya questions.
"He got close to you, just so he could steal your fortune." Merry stated. "That's all he ever wanted."
"It can't be?!" Kaya exclaimed, not believing his words. "No! You're lying!"
"I'm telling you the truth!?" Merry retorts.
Kaya was then shocked, now know why would Kuro attacked Merry last night and the reason why he was working as a butler for three years. She now realize that Usopp was telling the truth about Kuro's true plan and the pirates attacking the village which it's today.
"Then, what Usopp spoke about yesterday was the truth!?" Kaya exclaimed.
"That's right! And this is most tragic." Merry said. "When he learned the truth, he tried his hardest to get us to hear him out, but we were too shallow-minded and too confident in the closed off world we lived in for so long to listen to a single word."
Kaya then remembered that Usopp have tried to warned her about Kuro's plan, pirates invasion, and the massacre of the village. She felt terrible for not believing what Usopp have told her.
"In our blind protection of the villain in out mist, we drove the one brave lad who's desperate resolve he enacted for the saken safety of every person in this village." Merry explains, leaving Kaya sheds in tears. "Including you and I."
Merry then cough a bit of his blood, leaving him unconscious.
"Someone! Anyone! Help! Merry needs help!" Kaya shouts, tried to call for help but no respond.
"No Miss! It's of no use!" Merry told her, leaning against the wall. "The entire staff is on leave. No one has been here since yesterday."
"What!?" Kaya exclaims with shock, trembles. "Then...I'll find-"
"You cannot let yourself get flustered, Miss." Merry interrupts seriously, pressuring the wound. "You know the attack is yet to begin. So, be calm and think clearly about what it is you have to do next."
Kaya then stop trembling as Merry continues.
"Because if Klahadore is the thief we understand him to be and his goal is your fortune and your mansion, then by all means, let him have it." Merry told her, leaving her shocked. "None of this is worth sacrificing your life over."
Kaya then wipe her tears away as she spoke.
"Yes." Kaya said.
"It's a cruel truth, but you are the only who can stop Klahadore now, Kaya." Merry said. "Can you do it? I know this is not your burden, but still I must ask."
"Yes, I understand and I will do it." Kaya told him. "This isn't the situation I can runaway from. I what consequences I've face. I will find Klahadore and I will finish this."
Meanwhile, the three boys were trying to get through the gates, but the won't fit through while Onion tried to climb up, but he slipped down.
"What are you doing up there?" Pepper asks. "You have to hold on tighter, idiot!?"
"But the poles are slippery and my hands are sweaty!?" Onion exclaimed.
"Who cares? We still gotta get over it!?" Pepper retorts. "Aren't you worried about Kaya?"
Suddenly, the door was open when the three boys noticed it as they began to hide, but Carrot pulls his head out of the gates, causing him to land on the ground. They noticed Kaya was head out of the mansion to find Klahadore.
"It's Kaya, she's alright." Pepper said with relief.
Kaya was then open the gate when Pepper, Onion, and Carrot was watching her leaving the mansion.
"Looks like somethings got her really bothered." Pepper stated.
"Yeah, walking around outside by herself doesn't seem right." Carrot added.
"Somethings going on." Onion said, watching Kaya disappeared. "Something really weird."
Meanwhile at the North shore, the fight pretty intense since the Black Cat pirates were beaten by mostly Luffy because Django have accidentally hypnotize the rubber captain which it cause a major mess. Luffy was still sleeping due to Django's hypnotist abilities.
Zoro and Ventus were still standing at the slope, seeing that Luffy was still alive because of his rubber body.
"Looks like those guys are probably down for the count, don't you think?" Nami questions.
"Seem so." Ventus nods.
"Maybe, but Luffy is still trapped underneath that cat. Just look!?" Usopp exclaimed with worry.
"Relax, he's fine." Zoro assures him with a smirk.
"Damn that brat! Now our plan was shot to hell! What am I gonna do with this mess?!" Django exclaimed, stood up. "Captain Kuro sees this and he'll kill us."
Django was now really scared of what Kuro would do if finds out about this situation. Until, two of the pirates came out of the ship to see this mess in this slope.
"Butchie, come check this out! Some bad stuff going down." One of the pirate said.
"What the hell!?" The voice of Buchie shouts, earned Django's attention.
"I forgot we still have our trump card." Django said with a grin as he call the two. "Come forth, Meowban Brothers!"
With that, the two pirates swiftly came out to the ship as the landed on the broken ships figurehead.
The first one is a very skinny man with a hunchback, green hair that is parted to the side and curls at the end with two parts of hair on the sides of his head growing downwards in a curly-looking way. He also has cat ears on the top of his head and he has green cat-like eyes. He wore a navy blue shirt with light grey buttons and magneta bowtie, light-blue shorts, brown shoes, white socks that stick out of them, and dark brown gloves with cat claws.
The second one is an overweight man who wears an outfit based loosely on a black and white cat. He has pale skin, sharp teeth, tiny eyes, and cat ears on his head. His pants are striped red and white with a yellow sash, and wore a dark brown shoes. He wears a cape on his back this is striped light and dark-purple with white fluffy brim. He also wore a shoulder pad on his left arm and pale blue gloves with claws.
"Yes Captain? Did you call for us?" The green-haired pirate asks with a grin.
"Well, did you?" Butchie questions.
"Siam." Siam introduces himself, stood up in a cat position.
"And Butchie." Butchie added, positioned like a cat.
"Together we are the Meowban Brothers. At your service." Butchie and Siam said in unison.
Zoro, Usopp, and Nami look at those two with confusion, but Ventus can tell that they were strong as they landed on the ground right next to Django.
"Butchie, Siam, we absolutely must get up this hill, but as you can plainly see, our path is blocked." Django told them, turned his head to Zoro and Ventus. "If you would be so kind as to remove those obstacles immediately."
Ventus and Zoro were look at the Meowban brothers with a scowl, causing the two to cower.
"No way, we couldn't do that." Siam refuses. "He looks too strong, right Butchie?"
"Oh yeah, he's strong. Way stronger than us." Butchie agrees, causing Ventus to raise his eyebrow while Zoro looked at them with confusion.
"Besides, we just guard the ship! Not fight people!" Siam exclaims.
"He's got a point, we're not really the guys you want to send into battle." Butchie adds.
"So, they're a couple of pansies? I guess their not the trump card after all." Usopp stated with his furrowed brows.
"Siam, just do it already!" Django ordered him, causing him to shriek.
"What!? Please not me!?" Siam begs.
"AND HURRY!?" Django yelled.
"Okay, I'll go. Just stop yelling." Siam said with teary eyes.
"The guys crying like a baby." Nami stated. "What are they doing down there?"
With that, Siam then ran to Zoro like a coward while screaming. Ventus noticed that something was wrong about those two which he noticed that they were acting like they don't want to fight.
"Of all people, why force that guy into a fight?" Nami questions with annoyance when they saw Siam then run towards him.
"You come any closer and I'll cut you in half!" Zoro warns him, readied his sword. "I'm not joking! I'll do it!"
When Siam was close enough, his expression change into a smirk.
"Not likely." Siam said as he then lunge after Zoro with his claws, causing him to block.
'Bastard!' Zoro mentally cursed him with a scowl.
"Too bad." Siam mocks, looking at him. "It seems you fell for my little rouse. I'm impressed you blocked me, considering what a brilliant performance I gave. Don't let the teeny bit of skill you have cause you underestimate Siam of the Meowban Brothers."
When Siam have swiftly back away from Zoro, he stole two swords that were on his hunchback, causing Zoro failed to realize what he did.
"Are you missing something?" Siam mocks with a smirk. "Not that I would know anything about it."
Zoro then look at Siam, seeing the two katanas on his back.
"There it is." Django said.
"Cat-Burglar." Butchie added.
"Give me my swords back." Zoro growled at him.
"Your swords? But you already have a sword, how greedy can you be?" Siam questions with a mockery, carrying the two swords. "Say goodbye swords...Goodbye."
Siam then threw two katanas at the ground, causing Zoro to grew anger while the green-haired pirate licked his glove like a cat.
"Now I feel lighter." Siam said, causing Zoro to charge after him.
"You should take care with other peoples things." Zoro told him, slicing Siam but Ventus sniff the air which he noticed that there's no blood on him. Ventus tried to warn him, but Zoro was too busy getting his swords back as Siam then lunge at him.
"You really have to be faster." Siam said, grabbing his wrists and getting in his meditating position on his back. "Cuz' I'm agile as a cat."
Zoro then landed on the ground while looking at Siam.
"Butchie! You're up! Get in here!" Siam called him.
Butchie then began to leap in midair, raising his leg while Ventus then rushed and leap after Butchie, readied his lance when when fat-pirate failed to realize that the young Dragoon was after him.
"Celestial Shooter" Ventus then delivers an rising uppercut slash at him, causing him to scream with pain as the young Dragoon then twirl his lance and slam him up further as he leaps up with his dragon wings.
"Sky Rave" Ventus then descends to impale him and slams him down to the ground while Zoro manages to get away from them.
"Butchie!" Siam called him with worry as Ventus then landed right next to him.
"Thanks, kid." Zoro thanked him, earned a nod from him while they turned to the Meowban Brothers. "Take the fat one! The skinny one's mine!"
With that, the two goes after the Meowban Brothers when Butchie stood up, but Ventus was going after him.
"Spiral Blow" Ventus move towards him while knocking him back.
Siam was about to after him, but he path was blocked by Zoro.
"You're going to regret taking those swords from me." Zoro growled as he went on the offense, slashing him while Siam dodged nimbly out of every slash. Butchie then stood up from his attack while bled out as he glared at the young Dragoon, unaware that he's outmatched.
"You're going to regret that, brat!" Butchie growled.
"Oh, will you now?" Ventus mocks with a smirk.
Butchie then roared and dash towards Ventus with his claws when he was about to swipe him.
"Ring of Thorns" Ventus then jump and stab the ground, causing the wind the surround him and Butchie then grits his teeth when he felt the slashes of the wind.
"Lance Barrage" Ventus then slash him twice and then charge forward, stabbing him several times.
"Vorpal Thrust" Ventus then cut him with a upward blow, follow with a downward strike and lunge backwards.
Butchie then coughed a bit of his blood as he then collapses down to the ground.
"Nice one." Nami's voice reached Ventus, surprising him as she ran passed him, seeing her running straight for Zoro's swords.
Until, Django stopped her by sliced her shoulder with his pendulum that happens to be a chakram.
"What do you need swords for?" Django questions only to look up, seeing Kuro at the top of the slope before Ventus appeared before him with an enrage look on his face before he connects him with his back-fist with his dragonic strength. Django was sent crashing into the cliff with an explosion of dust and rock when he made an impact. Ventus then kneeled down to her who was clutching her shoulder, trying to hold the pressure.
"Nami, are you alright?" Ventus questioned softly, getting a nod from her when she tried to hold back her tears.
"The night has long since passed." Kuro said with a deep scowl, adjusting his glasses when he saw the fight at the slope which his crew were beaten, causing Zoro and Ventus to glance over their shoulder to see Kuro standing at the top of the slope while the Black Cat pirates looked at their Captain with fear. "So why is it that you've seemed to have made no progress on the plan?"
"Captain...Kuro! No!"
"He'll kill us all!"
Zoro then lowered his sword while turned his body to see Kuro.
"It's all over." Usopp said with fear when he look at him.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Kuro roared with anger from where he was standing, aggravation clearly taking over as his plan have failed.
