A little bit of an author note before we proceed to our newest chapter. I've got a lot of feedback from you guys and I'm so glad. One of the main issue many points out is about my grammar. I'm terribly sorry if my grammar cause you guys headache while reading this fic and yes, English is not my first language. I try to improve my grammar from this on, including using a grammar checker software. Again, thanks for all the positive and encouraging feedback from you guys!

Now, we continue with our new chapter.

After about thirty minutes walking (and I pay my attention at the route this time) we arrive at the guild. Chris leave me at the front door, stating that she has some quest to do. I bid her farewell and proceed entering the guild.

As I entered the guild, the first thing I do is look for a bulletin board. I look around and see a board with peoples gathering in front of it. Bingo.

I approach the board and take a look. The writing is foreign, but I can understand it since it have been uploaded into my brain.

I browse it for a while.

Quest request. Maybe later.

Wanted poster. That's concerning.

Warning notice. What? Cabbage?

Ah hah! Bingo! Party recruitment.

There's several party recruitment posters being advertised on the board, but one poster really catches my attention.

Immediate opening!

We're a cozy, harmonious party.

Any adventurers who wish to journey with the beautiful and noble archpriest, Aqua-sama, need looking no further!

The poster is….. unique I must say. But there's no doubt I've found this Aqua person Eris told me about. I still wonder about their relationship though. It's a good thing I'm in an advanced job class.

But I still don't know who are they. The poster has a drawing, but to be honest, the drawing is nothing but useless. Look like a child's drawing of I must say. I look around and see some adventurers near me. I approach them and tap one of them on the shoulder.

"Huh?" he turned around to me.

"Excuse me, sir. Do you know who the one posted this recruitment poster?" I asked him while pointing at the poster in question.

"Oh, that one? It's that two person over there." He said, pointing at a seat. I looked at the direction he's pointing and I see two people, a boy and a girl sitting at the table. The girl, with baby blue long hair and wearing blue short dress.

The boy, however, is wearing a tracksuit.

A freaking Earth tracksuit!

Now I understand why I had to meet these two. I thanked the guy who I asked and walks toward the two.

"Is this Aqua's party?"/"I happened to notice your recruitment poster."

Ehh?

Another person is speaking at the same time as me.

I looked at my right and sees a young girl, maybe around 13 years old. She looked younger than Chris that for sure. She has shoulder length black hair and bright red eyes. Well, eye actually. Her left eye is covered with an eye patch so I don't know what color it is. She's wearing a wizard like attire, with red clothes under a black cloak and black witch like hat. She's also carrying a wooden staff with a blue orb on it.

Well…. This is awkward. The other two are also looking at us.

"Errr… You go first." I said to the little girl. She looked at me and nodded.

Suddenly the girl starts to strike a pose.

"My name is Megumin! My calling is that of an Archwizard, and the one who controlled Explosion magic the strongest explosion magic!"

Errr…… What?

"Fu-fu.. Do you, too, desire my forbidden strength, which is so almighty, I've been ostracized by the entire world? Then show me thine resolve to peer into the ultimate abyss with me! When a man stares into the abyss, the abyss stares back."

What…. Is she talking about? I just stand next to her awkwardly, not sure how to react.

"Are you mocking us?" suddenly the boy, Kazuma if I'm not mistaken for what Chris had told me, asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"N-No!" the little girl, Megumin panicking, quickly denying it.

Really though, I feel like I'm invisible when standing near them while they're having that conversation.

"Wait, those red eyes….. Are you from the Crimson Demon Clan?" the girl, Aqua asks her.

Megumin looked lighten up when Aqua asked her that.

"Indeed! I am Megumin, user of finest magic crimson demons possessed!"

Crimson Demon? What's that?

She continues on her speech

"My lethal magic demolishes mountains, crushing boulders...-"

Suddenly, she loses her balance and collapsed to the ground.

"Hey what's wrong!"/"You alright?" Kazuma and I said simultaneously.

Then I heard a rumbling noise.

Is she...

"I haven't eat anything for three days. Do you have anything I could eat?" She said, which kinda hurts my heart.

Poor girl. I looked at my pouch and I still have some money that Chris gave me.

"Let me buy you some food. Kazuma! Help me get her up onto the seat!" I ordered him while I support her right arm to help her stand up.

"Huh? Oh okay okay!" Kazuma took her other arm and we walked her to the table.

I called the waitress and order some food and water for her.

The food arrives and she dug into the food ravenously.

I sit beside her while Kazuma and Aqua sit on the opposite side.

"By the way Megumin, what's wrong with the eye patch? Are you injured or something? If you do, she can heal you. Her one strong suit is healing magic."

"Only one?!"

Megumin dramatically stops eating when Kazuma asked her that. She put down her spoon and her hand trembling and touches her eye patch.

"This is a magic item to restrain my overwhelmed power. If I ever take it off, a great catastrophe will surely befall this world." She said.

'Seriously?! How powerful is this girl?!' I thought as I looked at the eye patch.

"So it's some sort of seal?" Kazuma asked.

"Actually, I made that up. This is just a normal eye patch. I wear it for the look."

Tch... Maybe not as powerful as I thought.

"Hey Kazuma. She's from the Crimson Demon clan. They have high intelligence and strong magic power, with most of the become powerful mages. They're commonly known by their bright red eyes and weird names." Aqua whispers at Kazuma. Well, not actually whispering since I can hear it and I'm sure Megumin does too.

"Hey! It's rude to call other people's name weird! From where I stand, the name of the peoples in this town is weird!"

Well... I couldn't say she's wrong. If she grew up with peoples with weird names, surely she'll see the names are normal.

"Yeah right... May I ask what's your parents' name?" Kazuma asks.

"My mother's name is Yuiyui! My father's name is Hyoizaburo!" She said proudly.

If I'm lacking in manners, I will definitely laugh.

Aqua and Kazuma stay silent, maybe having the same thought.

"Anyway... This girl is from a powerful mage race, right? Why don't we recruit her. And how about you?" Kazuma said, asking about my business here.

Damn, I completely forget about that after this whole scenario.

"Oh right! Let me introduce myself first. I'm Fajar, a Berserker and I also interested in joining your party." As I introduced myself, Megumin who's sitting next to me looked at me, wide-eyed.

"A Berserker?! That's a rare class job!" She said, surprised.

Aqua and Kazuma seem surprised as well.

"Why do you want to join our party? Don't get me wrong, but you can easily join any high level party with the job of yours. So why us?"

"Fufufu, it's must because of my amazing recruitment poster."

I didn't have the heart to tell Aqua that her poster is the last reason why I join this party.

"Well, actually... Kazuma, can I talk to you for a while? Privately." I said as I get up from my seat while the others give me a questioning look.

"Errr... Okay? I guess? Aqua, stay here with Megumin." Kazuma get up from his seat and follows me to the guild entrance. Before I get too far from the other two to hear, I turn around and look at Aqua.

"Oh, by the way. Aqua? Eris told me to send her regards to you." I said as I leave a bewildered Aqua.

We get out of the guild and walk a bit away from the busy road, near an alleyway.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Kazuma asked.

"Well, this is a wild guess, but you're not from this world aren't you?" I said, causing his face to fall into a shocked expression.

"W-What are you talking about? H-hahaha that's nonsense! Hahahaha" he try to convince me otherwise, which didn't work.

Wait, now I sounded like a villain am I? Shit.

"You didn't have to lie. I, myself is also not from this world, but neither does yours." I said.

Now, he looked relief, but also confused.

"Yeah, confusing, I know. I'll explain to you later. Anyway, let me join your party and we can work together to defeat the Demon King." I give him an offer he couldn't never refuse.

"Hmmm... Although I didn't understand your situation, but you seemed to be trustworthy. Alright then, before I accept you into my party, what advantage do you get from the Heaven?" He asked me.

Right... Eris did tell me everyone that being sent here get a special ability or item. I wondered what is Kazuma's advantage. Maybe I should keep the immortality a secret since it's not from the Heaven.

"Well... I have the ability to summon any weapon by the cost of my mana." I explained.

He nodded, holding out his hand.

"Welcome to our party Fajar. Looking forward to fight alongside you." He said.

I smiled, took his hand in return."Likewise, Kazuma."

We walked back to the guild and meet back with Aqua and Megumin. Kazuma explained my participation in the party, much to both of them surprised. Aqua starts questioning me on how did I knew Eris, but luckily Kazuma whispers to her about something, most likely about my situation. And Kazuma also agreed to take in Magumin to the party, as she's also having potential.

Kazuma explained to us that they're still struggling with a quest and suggest to use the quest as a test for us.

Hmm... Maybe I should test my ability too.

KO*NO*SU*BA*

I know Kazuma said frogs hunting. But I didn't expect the frogs to be this big! They're almost as big as cars! What the heck!

"Explosion is the strongest offensive magic. On the other hand, it requires a long casting time. Please keep the frogs at bay until I ready." Megumin said, steadying her staff.

I can see a frog at the plains, hopping around the field.

Then, there's another frog nearby, and it's heading towards us.

"Please target the frog further away. As for the nearer one… Hey, let's go, Fajar, Aqua. We'll avenge ourselves this time. You're a former goddess, right? How about showing what you're made of?" Kazuma instruct us, while looking at Aqua when he's talking the last part.

Wait, goddess?

When I think about it, Eris does calls her senpai.

Does this mean, Aqua was a goddess just like Eris?!

How the heck she's here-

Kazuma. Of freaking course. I bet he took Aqua as his advantage.

Aqua and Kazuma are bickering with each other while Megumin seems surprised by Kazuma's statement, which he covers up with "pitiful girl who's a self proclaimed goddess" story.

Megumin looks at Aqua with sympathetic eyes while Aqua looked like she's going to burst into tears at any moment.

Suddenly, she charges to the frog, saying something I couldn't comprehend since she's already too far away. Kazuma just sighed, saying something about hasn't learned her lesson. "Just ignore her. Fajar, these frogs are immune to physical attack. Do you have any weapon with you?" he asks me.

I give him a shit-eating grin, the one that shows a "for heck I did" expression.

I hold out both of my hands and close my eyes. If the power that Eris granted me is the same as the power I gave my character in my story, I just need to concentrate and think about the weapon that I want to create.

The type of weapon.

Its design.

Its functionality.

Its origin.

Its size.

Its history.

Suddenly, my hands glowed. More accurately sparks. But it doesn't feel hot at all. There's a warm feeling on my hands. I muster my strength and push the feelings out of my hands. And with a bright light, a 6-feet long German Zweihander materialize in my hands.

The sudden weight almost throws me off balance, but I manage to hold it off. I awe at my creation while Kazuma looks at the sword, jaw dropped and Megumin is too focused on her chanting she doesn't even notice it.

"It works! Haha! Wooo! I love this world!" I shout, overly excited.

"Dude! That's awesome! But I think we should start helping Aqua right now." Kazuma said in amazement, then pointing at the direction the goddess was running earlier.

I look at the direction, only frogs, no goddess in view. I look at one of the frogs, and I see it. A leg dangling out of its mouth.

Shit.

"Come on Fajar!" Kazuma yells, unsheathes his short sword. I'm ready follows him when the air around us begin to tremble. More accurately, the air around Megumin.

"Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark, I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson."

As Megumin began to chant, magic aura filled the field. Like literally, I can see the dark purple streams of light surrounding the frog, like auroras on the land.

So this is magic huh?

Kazuma also seems stunned, completely forget about Aqua who's has been eaten by a giant frog.

Ehh, she's a goddess. I'm sure she can manage.

"The time of awakening cometh."

"Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortion!"

"Dance, Dance, Dance!"

"I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force: a destructive force without equal! Return all creation to cinders, and come from the abyss!"

Magic circles formed above the frog, aiming its target with a tremendous amount of power.

"This is the mightiest means of attack known to man, the ultimate attack magic!

EXPLOSION!"
