'Black Leg' Sanji vs 'Man-Demon' Gin
Somewhere at sea, Baratie
After Luffy breaks the fin of the sea restaurant, the Krieg pirates and the chefs were completely stunned that the rubber captain have destroyed the fin with only one hit. Sanji was very upset that Luffy have destroyed the fin.
"HE DESTROYED THE FIN!?"
They were completely speechless after what Luffy just did as he then smiled, stood up.
"He's trying to sink my ship. You Dare Defy Me!?" Don Krieg shouts with pure anger. "Gin! Blow his head off right now!"
Gin then grunts with his eyes widened which of course, he refuse that order as his captain spoke.
"What are you waiting for!?" Don Krieg shouts impatiently.
"But...He...He saved our lives when we're starving." Gin tried to reason with him, looking at his captain. "He gave us food!?"
"Gin! Kill him!?" Don Krieg growled with a yell.
"Hey! I don't see why you're all so upset." Luffy interrupts, looking over his shoulder. "I didn't sink it."
Don Krieg then growled which it's not getting any better as Sanji spoke.
"Back off, chore boy! This is not your fight!" Sanji shouts as he stood up.
"But I will." Luffy declares, leaving Sanji flinched with anger. "I'm going to sink it."
The Krieg pirates were really frightened since they'll lose the new ship while the chefs were confused since they see no reason for doing that. The Krieg pirates then shouts while complaining as Sanji then walk towards the rubber captain as he spoke.
"You bastard! That's what you're doing!?" Sanji growled, grabbing the vest. "You can't sink this ship!?"
"But if the restaurant is gone, there's no reason to attack, is there?" Luffy questions.
"NO!?" Sanji yelled, leaving Zeff chuckle a bit. "This ship saved my life, I owe everything to her!? And you will not take that away!?"
"You're gonna die for a dumb old restaurant? Are you stupid?" Luffy asks seriously.
"What did you say!?" Sanji growled with a question, leaving Luffy slapped his wrist while grabbing his collar, pulling him closer.
"Getting killed!? That's how you want to repay your debt!?" Luffy exclaims, glaring at the sous chef. "The old man didn't save you so that you could kill yourself!? He did it, so can do something with your life! Not to die like a fool!"
"And so your big idea is to help them attack us!?" Sanji retorts as they butt each others heads, glaring at each other.
Gin then couldn't help but covered his eyes with his headband, grunting at the two since the fight isn't getting anywhere.
"Boys, there's no need for friends to fight. Especially when there's nothing either of you can do." Pearl assures with a smile, chuckled. "Not while there's a big shotgun pressed right up against the old man chefs hat. Your problem began when you decided to come up against the Krieg pirates, nothing can stop us."
Pearl then laugh like he won the battle.
"Fire Pearls" Pearl the clang the iron shields, lighting them on fire as he charges after the two. "Now you will burn!?"
When Pearl was charging after the two while laughing like a crazed lunatic as he was about to attack them, but Gin shove the two out of his way while charging after him with his murderous intent glare, defeating Pearl when the iron plate from the front side was penetrated and broken with his iron-balled tonfas. Luffy and Sanji were shocked that Gin would do something like that.
"What did...you do...Gin?" Pearl groaned as he then collapse down to his knees.
"I'm sorry Pearl, you're in my way." Gin told him, leaving Pearl down to the wooden floor.
"Gin! You have betrayed your captain and your ship!" Don Krieg yelled with anger when he saw his crewman beat Pearl.
"I know. I'm sorry Don Krieg, but he saved our lives. I can't kill him, not like this. He deserves better, he deserves to face death standing up, but I promise you..." Gin told his captain, turned his head to the two with his glare while placing his tonfa on his shoulder. "He'll still die by my hands."
Sanji then glared at Gin as Don Krieg spoke.
"Oh great, my Chief Commander has now completely lost his marbles." Don Krieg muttered with his disappointed tone.
"You just hang in there, Old Zeff." Patty said, holding his boss.
"Are you alright, Boss?" Carne asks with worry.
Sanji look at Zeff for a few seconds, then turned his head to Gin.
"He's their Chief Commander?" Sanji questions.
"I guess." Patty answered. "You see him crush that guy, though?"
"One blow and his shield was in pieces. Now that's power." Carne added.
Luffy then stare with his blank expression on his face for a few seconds as he then spoke.
"Ha! My plan worked perfectly, and now he's out in the open!" Luffy said with confident smile which he's lying.
"You Liar! There's No Way You Thought That This Would Happen!?" Sanji shouts, showing his shark-like teeth while Luffy give him an irritated look.
"Sanji." Gin called him, earned his attention. "Look, I'm just following orders. I don't want to ruin this ship, but I think it's too late for that."
"Heh! Maybe, if you think that you're going to get to this restaurant without killing me, you got another thing coming." Sanji retorts.
"Sounds fair." Gin replies. "And it would be an absolute pleasure to kill you. My good friend."
"Gee, that's comforting." Sanji said sarcastically, lighting his cigarette. "Asshole."
"You as well, chore boy." Gin said, turned to Luffy.
"Gee thanks, but I'm afraid of any Krieg pirates." Luffy told him, leaving Gin and the Krieg pirates growled, feeling offended when they muttered of wanted to kill him. "Only cuz' you outnumbered the other pirates in the East Blue."
The Krieg pirates were now starting to get irritated and even more offended by Luffy's remark which he made a poor word choices.
"Oh boy...Now you really pissed them off." Sanji told him with deadpan expression, without looking at the rubber captain.
"Guess I was right." Luffy stated.
And that was the last straw when the Krieg pirates began to charge after him with pure anger.
"HOLD YOUR PLACE!" Don Krieg yelled at his men with an order, stopped them dead in their tracks.
"But Don Krieg, he can't say that."
"You only prove his point when you lose control or whine like little babies." Don Krieg told his men, sitting on a wooden floor. "Do you see me trembling with anger? Only the weak react to mere words. Don Krieg Pirates Run From No Man!?"
"Yes sir!"
"Gin!" Don Krieg call him, earned his attention. "It's your job to take care of that cook. I'll handle the little boy, that brat is all mine."
"I understand. Yes, Don Krieg." Gin accepts, turned to Sanji since this fight is growing intense.
"Hey, boy." Don Krieg called him with his serious expression, earned his attention. "You can try your Devil Fruit magic against me, but I've seen it all before and have never been defeated by such trickery. When you experience the full force that conquered the entire East Blue, then you'll understand the meaning of power, chore boy."
"Your voice is getting on my nerves." Luffy said seriously. "I'm gonna kick your ass, it's as simple as that. Hold on just a second. I'll be right there."
"The impudence!?" Don Krieg snarled with a scowl.
The atmosphere was growing more intense since this fight will be Luffy and Sanji against Gin and Don Krieg. The Krieg pirates then knew that Gin drew out his tonfas, basically he's done playing around and he would fight very seriously as he then begin to spin his tonfa while building up the momentum, looking at Sanji with his cold murderous intent glare.
"They call him 'The Cold-Hearted Demon'."
"He's our 'Cool-Headed, Cold-Hearted Pirate Fleet Commander Gin'. It doesn't matter if you beg for mercy, he'll still laugh in your face while he kills you."
"I'm sorry, Sanji. But I can't be defeated." Gin told him.
"Yeah, go ahead. Tell yourself that." Sanji said seriously.
Gin then get into his fighting stance, widened his stance while leaned himself forward as he then charges after him.
"Here I come." Gin said.
With that, the fight begins as Sanji then lift his leg up as he was about to deliver a downward kick at him, but Gin jump back while using his tonfa to hit him, leaving the sous chef evade his attack while the Krieg's crewman hit the wooden floor. Gin then manage to break free as he then attack him, giving an upper-tonfa when Sanji then dodge that attack as began to retaliate by delivering a spinning roundhouse kick, but Gin twist his body around to dodge that attack as he then slams Sanji down with his tonfa while lands in a crouching position. The Krieg then cheered for him, seeing that he's winning while the chefs were completely stunned that their co-worker was losing and about to get killed.
"I warned you, but you just wouldn't listen, would you?" Gin questioned him while tightened his grip, leaving Sanji grunted while he then snarled with a malicious grin as he then spins his other tonfa while building momentum. "And now...It's time for you to accept defeat...Die!?"
Gin was about to finish him by slamming his tonfa at him, but Sanji spit his cigarette at him, causing him to cringe while the sous chef to slip through to avoid that attack while using a handspring stand, delivering a downward kick at Gin, leaving him knocked out. However, Gin then retaliates when he swing his tonfa at him, hitting him on the side of the ribs, leaving him knocked out which this fight was leading into a draw. Both the Krieg pirates and the chefs were stunned at the battle.
"That cook...kicked Gin in the head!?"
"Yeah, I couldn't believe it. Do you think he's still alive?"
"Enough!?" Don Krieg shouts, earned their attention. "After all this time, you should know a hell of a lot better than that, you idiots. There's a reason I trust him above any other of my pirate crew. Gin is always a 'Cool-Headed Cold-Hearted Demon' and he never quits!?"
Gin then stood up while Sanji also stood up, but barely when he hold his ribs while blood trickled on his mouth, smirking at him.
"I can't believe Sanji is getting up." Patty said surprisingly.
"He should lay back down, after what he's been through, his ribs must be completely smashed." Carne stated as Sanji then stood up.
"Well, that...wasn't...too bad.." Sanji groaned. "Chief Commander."
Gin just stood silent as Sanji spoke.
"Let me know when you're ready to really fight." Sanji said, leaving Gin licked his lips with a malicious smirk.
Luffy was just looking at Gin for a few seconds since this fight isn't getting anywhere as he then look at Don Krieg.
"He's just sitting there." Luffy told himself, grinned as he then place his fist on his hand. "Now it's ass kicking time!?"
With that, Luffy then rush after Don Krieg when he notice the rubber captain was running on the broken mast. Don Krieg then smirked as he spoke.
"Don't hurt yourself." Don Krieg warned him as he then flicked his marble-sized iron ball towards the sea, causing it to explode as he then fire his guns from his pauldron at Luffy, sent him flying as he then landed on the wooden floor while Don Krieg then laughed with mockery. Luffy was getting angry as he then slams his straw hat down to the wooden floor.
"You're a bastard!? Don't you wanna fight me!?" Luffy yelled.
"Fight you? Do I really have to? If all I want to do is kill you, that's enough for me." Don Krieg said, smirked. "I really don't have any patience for you stupid games, little fool."
"Oh yeah!? How about I will bite your head off!?" Luffy exclaims, stretching his mouth when he heard someone was knocked out as he then turn his head, seeing that Sanji was down. "Sanji!?"
The Krieg pirates and Don Krieg were snickered a bit while cheering Gin and Sanji cough a bit of his blood.
"Woo-hoo! Pulverize the rest of him!?"
"Yeah, what he said!?"
However, the chefs knew Sanji was in bad shape since the previous fight against Pearl.
"Crap! If only he hadn't fought that Pearl guy first!?"
"Yeah! I don't think he'll another hit from those balls."
Gin then spins his tonfa while building a momentum with an evil smirk on his face.
"Go ahead...You hit like a girl anyway..." Sanji groaned with a smirk, leaving Gin chuckle a bit. 'He's too strong for me...'
"Now die! Bye, Sanji!" Gin said as he then began swinging his tonfa at Sanji to finish him off, but the sous chef then evades with his cartwheel evasion technique.
"What was that!? Your pity!?" Sanji shouts with serious expression as he then slams him down with his kick. "I'm not dead yet!?"
The Krieg pirates were stunned that Sanji was still able to fight, even when he's badly hurt. Sanji then smirk with triumph, but he felt his ribs were cracking as he then cringe with pain while collapsing down to the wooden floor, holding his sides of his ribs.
"No!?" Patty exclaims.
"He can't take it! He's gonna kill himself just trying to fight!?" Carne stated with shock.
Apparently, Carne was right since Sanji can't take it anymore since he's been fighting two pirates as Gin then stood up with a groan. Sanji then turned slightly when he saw Gin was still up as he then grab him by the neck, holding him down while holding his tonfa. The Krieg pirates then cheered him, wanted him to finish the sous chef off.
"You...Damn...Bastard!?" Sanji cursed him weakly.
The atmosphere was growing intense since the chefs were watching this battle, but they were shocked that Sanji was defeated and about to witness that the sous chef will get killed by Gin. However, what got Gin to stop was that Sanji have saved him and his crew from starvation which he done this out of kindness before the fight ever happens. Gin then began to shed in tears, didn't want to kill him as he spoke.
"I...can't...I can't obey your order." Gin said to his captain without looking at him. "This man saved my life...I Can't Don Krieg!? I Won't Do It!?"
Sanji and Don Krieg were shocked and surprised that Gin won't kill him as he then spoke.
"I Can't...I'm Sorry Captain!?" Gin said with a shout, crying.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Don Krieg yelled with anger.
"I Won't...Do...What...You Want!?" Gin answered, remembered that Sanji have given him food few days ago which he done this only because of his kindness and it was the first time that he had ever felt this way. "He Treated Me With Such Respect!? A Decency And Kindness...That's Why...I Can't Bring Myself To Kill Him!?"
Don Krieg didn't like his answer since Gin have been loyal to him for a long time, but now he won't kill him.
"I've always been loyal to you, until now, I believed in what we've done." Gin said sadly. "I respect you and appreciate all you have given me. Trusting me as your Chief Commander was the honor of my life, until this moment, I have obeyed every single order you have given me without ever questioning it. I can't live with myself if I kill this man. And I cannot break my oath. Please...I beg you...Let me disobey just this one order...Please...Don Krieg...Listen...Can't we just leave? They can keep the restaurant for themselves."
Don Krieg have heard enough as he then yell with pure anger.
"YOU LITTLE SON OF A BITCH!? YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFY MY ORDERS ANS THEN TELL ME WHAT TO DO!?" Don Krieg yelled at him, disappointed at Gin disobeying orders. "It's pathetic! Morality, sympathy, weaknesses I've never expected to see from you. You are not my Chief Commander anymore!?"
Don Krieg then detach his shoulder pauldron, placing it on his left hand as he then aim at Gin.
"Pirates! Step aside!?" Don Krieg ordered as the Jolly Roger emblem opens the mouth, revealed a turret from the pauldron.
"No!? Not The Gas!?" Gin shouts with horror.
The Krieg pirates then look at Don Krieg, frightened with horror when they knew that their captain was going to use an 'MH5' which it was a poison gas as they quickly place their masks on. They curse Don Krieg for having him everyone with that gas.
"The only thing that matters in the battle is who ends up winning." Don Krieg told his crew, smirking. "Even if more have got to die. Poison gas is just a means to an end. Victory is all to decides what's right and what's wrong. If you are dead, nobody's gonna here you complain anyway. When you don't hesitate to do unspeakable horrible things. That is, true power."
Luffy then scowled at Don Krieg with a growl, didn't like his way of being a pirate or his way of fighting.
"He's insane." Sanji weakly groaned with a scowl.
Gin then bring out his gas mask out of his jacket as Don Krieg spoke.
"MIGHT AS WELL THROW THAT GAS MASK AWAY!?" Don Krieg yelled at him, glaring at him. "You're no longer worthy to be a Krieg pirate. DIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!?"
Luffy then began to charge after him with pure anger when Don Krieg noticed him rushing towards him.
"I'm Not Gonna Let That Happen, You Bastard!?" Luffy yelled.
"You're wasting your time, chore boy!?" Don Krieg retorts as he then smash the part of the mast, leaving Luffy tumbled down as the pauldron then revealed the turrets from the rims in the Gatling-fashion as he then fires off the needle-like bullets as Luffy then ran from the bullets while landed on the wooden floor.
"Ah crap!" Luffy groaned as he then look at Gin. "Gin! You don't have to listen to that blowhard. Because I'm gonna kick his ass!?"
"No! My Captain cannot be defeated!?" Gin shouts. "Don Krieg is the strongest man alive. And I respect his punishment."
"Will You Please Snap Out Of It!? He's Going To Kill You!?" Sanji yelled at him.
"I deserve it, obeying my emotions meant betraying my captain. If I were in his position, then I would've done the same thing." Gin told him. "And now, death is the honor I have left."
With that, Gin then throws his gas mask away out in the ocean, leaving Luffy and Sanji stunned of his words which he doesn't deserve that much cruelty from Don Krieg.
"So you've remembered your place." Don Krieg said with a smirk, turned his expression into disappointment. "But it's much too late for that. Now you will both die together. It's the 'MH5' Poison Gas Bomb: FIRE!?"
With that, Don Krieg then fire the poison gas bomb at Gin along with Luffy and Sanji. The chefs were swimming far away from the poison bomb as possible while both Patty and Carne grab hold of Zeff, getting him inside of the restaurant to take shelter. Some of the Krieg pirates stayed because of the gas mask when Luffy grabs hold of them, leaving them panicked as they swim far away from the restaurant while the rubber captain pass the gas masks toward the two. Luffy was about to get the other gas mask for him, but failed to realize that they've already swimming far away from the restaurant, causing him to panic. The poison gas bomb was about to head towards them until...The poison gas bomb then explodes.
