This is the 25th chapter. This is where we focus on Ventus Starwind since he'll have a chance to fight against Arlong and his crew. Which of course, this fight will be the clash in between the dragon and a fishman.

Enter the Dragon Rage! Ventus Starwind vs Arlong
Somewhere at sea
Few hours earlier, both Johnny and Yosaku were tossed overboard by Nami and sailed with the Going Merry which the bounty hunters were very upset about it. Unknown to her, Ventus was up at the crow's nest sleeping since he overheard due to his dragon hearing. He's right now still sleeping for hours since Nami sailing towards somewhere in the next island. Until, Ventus was starting to sweat, grunting which he's having a nightmare.
Dreamscape
His dream what appears to be from Ishgard where an angry mob with torches and variety or arsenals heading towards the church lead by a man with a sinister smile along with his friend. They were roaring with anger and hatred, chanted 'Witch' 'Dragon Lover' 'Whore' or 'Demon Child' with their loathed and angry tone. When they arrived at the church, a woman who happens to be a nun close the door behind her.
"Let us through witch, so we can kill your child." One of the angry mob demands with a shout. "We know you're hiding that little demon of yours."
"I assure you, my son is not a demon." The nun assures with her calm tone. "If you ever come try and kill me, I can assure you that my husband will-"
"SILENCE!?" One of the leader retorts with a shout. "Do you defy us!? Your little Starwind was nothing but a demon. And yet, you were brainwashed by your dragon husband and I want to save you from him and your son."
"What!? That's a ridiculous lie I've ever heard. How could you say that to your nephew!?" The nun shouts.
"Don't speak about that abomination that you call your son, whore!?" He retorts, smirked evilly. "That boy must be executed along with you so we will save you from that dragon."
The nun then widened with shock, dread, and horror. She now realize that her brother was the one who keeps going on spouting lies about her son and why would he speak so ill about him. For that reason, he had strong hatred of dragons from Dravannia and being so cruel towards her and her son. He then turned towards the angry mob as he spoke.
"MY FRIENDS, ARE WE GOING TO LET THIS WHORE OF A DRAGON LOVER PREVENT US TO KILL HER AND HER MONSTER!?" He yelled with a jeer, causing the angry to roar.
With that, one of the angry mob then threw the torch at the church which it cause to burn. One-by-one, the angry mob threw the torches at the church since the number of torches began to burn the church. The nun tried to convince them, but they won't listen and she only has one choice, it's to take her son and run away as far away as possible. She then rush towards inside the church as she then search for him, but seeing that her son have manage to get out as she grabs hold of him while running.
They were able to get out of the church in time when they heard the angry mob roared with a cheer, glad to see that the nun and her son was burned. However, they've failed to realize that the two were able to get out when they rush towards the forest, but one of the angry mob saw them as they then chase after them.
Luckily, they were far off distance, but the nun was shot when then bolt hit her in the back, causing her to collapse down to her knees.
"Mother!?" The boy shouts with worry as he rush towards her. "Mother!?"
"Ventus, listen to me. I need you to go and head towards the eastern shore, they'll be able to get you out." The nun told her son. "I was afraid that my brothers were able to convince them with lies. I need-"
Until, they heard a rustle at the rushes which she won't have time to explain as Ventus then quickly hides towards the big long which he is small enough to fit through. He then revealed himself from the bushes with a sinister smile, laughing as he spoke.
"You really shouldn't have given birth to that abomination you call a son, I really don't like that hideous dragon from the inside of him." He taunts.
"Don't you dare mock my son. He's my boy and I love him!?" The nun retorts with anger. "He's no abomination!?"
"Ah, but you're wrong. That brat is an abomination." The other man said with his evil smile, revealed himself from the bushes. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you have feelings for that monster."
"Oh Thenien, you're quite right. She does have feelings for that monster of a dragon." He agrees.
"My husband is no monster, you and your brother are." The nun snarled, causing him to slap her in a face.
"Do you really think that you're any better, sister!?" Thenien retorts. "Now, where's that monster?"
The nun then begin to smile, leaving them confused.
"He's far away from here and you fools." The nun answered with her calm tone. "I sent him towards the northern shore where he'll be far away from here, including you fools. No matter what you'll do, no matter where you go, you'll never find my son. And I'm proud that I'm married to my dragon husband, Starblaze and having a son together. I love them both with all of my hearts."
Ventus heard everything and saw what they're going to do to her mother as he watch them with teary eyes, helpless of what they're going to do next.
"I would be honored when I join them in the stars." The nun said with a smile. "Ventus, Starblaze, I love you both with all my heart."
With those last words, Thenien then impaled her heart with his broadsword, leaving Ventus silently cried in tears. He couldn't stand and watch this horrific scene that is so cruel and malicious.
Dreamscape Ended
Virgil then snapped his eyes open with a gasp of air and breathe heavily, his dream is more of memory of what happen of his past since 11 years ago. He never forget when he saw his mother died right before his eyes, killed from the hands of his uncles who sprouting lies to those people of Ishgard, treated him very cruelly by constantly abusing him, calling him names, and being neglected by them. The same uncles who had hatred towards the dragons from Dravannia and the councils from Ishgard who strongly against the coexistence of humans and dragons. Sitting there for a while, taking a deep breath to calm himself down but notice that something went wrong, the ship is moving. He then sniff the air since the Baratie was nowhere in sight and the Straw hat crew is no longer on the ship.
'It must've happen when Nami toss the two bounty hunters overboard while I was sleeping. She must've sailed somewhere, but where?' Ventus mentally question as he let out a yawn, stretching his body while crack his bones. Even though, his joints were tense which he's cracking his bones to loosen up a bit. Stood up as he let out another yawn while leaning over the side of the rail of the crow's nest. He saw Nami standing towards the bow, staring off the sea.
"They sure were nice guys." Nami said with a soft voice, leaving Ventus frown slightly. "But I wonder well, I wonder they would let me join them again?"
Her body then trembled as her shoulders began to shake, Ventus see her hands clench as tears fall on her face.
"I hope I see them..." Nami said, hugging herself while crying. "Free, I just want to be free...Belle-mere."
Ventus then watched her crying while crouching down to her knees as she muttered the same name over and over again. He understand how it feels to lose someone which he knows it too well. He then descends down silently with his dragon wings as he landed down to the ground.
"I don't know about that, Nami." Ventus said, leaving Nami shot up as she turned, falling on her butt as she stared at Ventus with wide eyes, tears still running down her cheeks. Ventus already knew why she's crying which he knows that too well. "But with what I've heard, you left with no other choice."
"Ventus!" Nami snapped, wiping away the tears from her face. "What are you doing here!? Why are you on board, I thought you're with them at the Baratie!"
Ventus ignored her shouts as he walked to the side, the Navigator glared at him as her eyes traced his path to where he's going.
"Not only that you stole the ship while tossing Johnny and Yosaku overboard, but you've abandoned Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp back at the Baratie." Ventus said with a sigh, putting two and two together. Ventus then realize why Nami look at the wanted poster which it is one pirate that she look at, it's Arlong. He didn't know that she's on dead-set on heading to the next island. 'I hope Luffy and the others have found a way to catch up with us. Because we need help.'
"That's right! I stole the Going Merry, left everyone at the Baratie during the confusion of Don Krieg arrived, it's what I do! I'm a thief that stole treasures from pirates! I only steal pirates for-"
Before Nami could finish her sentence, Ventus' glance stopped her as her eyes have dilated into a dragon eyes with his serious expression his face, she had never seen him this before.
"I'm not fooling you, am I?" Nami questioned, her hanging down to her face.
"Not with what I overheard earlier, no." Ventus stated with a shrug before silence drifted between the two for some time. "We're heading to the Cocoyasi village, are we?"
Nami then stood up and head across the ship, Ventus followed behind her. She then entered the cabin where the Going Merry's rudder control was and checked that the ship was still on course.
"That's right, I'm going home..." Nami said, glaring at Ventus. "I don't care what you do, take the Going Merry back to the Baratie for all I care, but the treasure is all mine."
"I'm not leaving without you, Nami." Ventus shouts. "Luffy is maybe busy fighting against Don Krieg, but Zoro, Usopp, Johnny, and Yosaku might have a way to find us. They might accuse us for stealing the ship, but you are to blame since you could've told us sooner."
"Shut up, it's none of your business of what I do!?" Nami growled at him. "Just fly back to the Baratie-"
"With the way you're heading and with that look on your face, that makes it my business!?" Ventus interrupts with a shout. "Nami, Arlong won't accept the deal that the both of you have made. Trust me on this, it won't work."
"How would you know!? You've never even met him!?" Nami shouts with frustration.
"Don't have to, Arlong is a pirate and with that look on your face, he must've done something to you." Ventus stated, leaving her shocked. "Nami, tell me everything."
Nami was shocked with astonishment, but she then left the cabin with a tears in her eyes while clenching her fists. She then wipe her tears while gripping on her left shoulder, gripping it tightly. She then move to the cabin door, peered out of the porthole window just to see Ventus standing on the deck before leaning on the railing just look at the sea.
"You're making it more difficult, you idiot..." Nami whispered quietly, already having enough hard time of abandoning her crew that had come to accept her. Over the course of her time being a member of the Straw Hat crew. Luffy and Usopp were idiots because of their childish antics, Zoro usually spar with Ventus, but he mostly sleeps, and Ventus...to her, he's been hiding something and with the way he spoke, the young Dragoon was the most mature of the bunch despite his age. 'What am I suppose to do...Bell-mere?'
Ventus can still hear her whisper because of the dragon hearing, but he doesn't need an explanation from her. Her expression says everything, Arlong have invaded the Cocoyasi village, kill Bell-mere for not paying tribute, and Arlong and his crew have built an empire. It is enough to get Ventus enraged, so enraged he would go and destroy the empire that Arlong and his crew have made and massacre the entire Arlong pirates. Nami knows that look on his face, he's angry and as far as she knows, he was about to figure it out on his own. She then head towards the rudder control to keep her mind occupied on the course towards her home.
Coconomi Island, Cocoyasi Village
It didn't take long for them to get to the island, it pretty took a half a day before they reach the island that is the Cocoyasi Village. Before Nami could ever give Ventus orders, he sprouts his wings and fly towards Arlong and his crew since he caught a scent of a murderer.
"Ventus, Wait!?" Nami yelled but it's too late. She then growled with frustration as she then began to chase after the enraged half-breed. "Damn it! He's gonna get himself killed!"
Nami knows where Ventus is heading and as far as she tell, remembered about the Dragon Rage. It's an ability that allows him to enhance his strength tenfold while getting fully enraged, but the downside is that when he gets angry, he'll lose sight of everything while wrecking havoc and kill everyone on sight, doesn't matter it anyone is an ally or enemy.
Ventus was flying towards where Arlong is at while begin to grow horns from his head and face, dilated his eyes into dragon eyes, dragon tail, grow scales from his arms and his legs. Even though, his clothes were ripped, but he doesn't care since he's enraged.
Coconomi Island, Arlong Park
When he arrived where Arlong and his crew lives, he then destroys the steel doors with only one hit, sending the doors right towards the wall with sheer force. The fishmen then look at the doors with shock as the dust clears, they look at Ventus in his partial dragon form with an enraged look on his face. One of the fishman started to charge after him, growling at him as the young Dragoon then readied his lance.
"Fang and Claw" Ventus then retaliate with a savage slashes at the fishmen, leaving slash marks on them while he finish them by slicing their heads off, resulted them dead.
They were stunned for a moment when they saw Ventus have killed them with his lance. He then walk forward further into the Arlong Park as he then rose up from his seat with hatred in his eyes at what the young Dragoon had done to his comrades.
"Who do you think you're are, boy!?" Arlong growled, grabbing his chair and smashing it into a wall as he was about to stalk forward. Ventus punched him, sent him flying as he then crashed into a wall.
"I came here to take your like, Arlong!?" Ventus growled with pure anger. "You've ruled this island far too long and I'm going to end it!?"
Arlong then shook his head while stood up, looking at him with anger and hatred.
"How dare you!" Arlong roared. "I'll rip you apart! I'll your damn wings off and feed them to the sharks!"
Both of the fishmen named Chew and Hachi tried to restrain him, tried to reason with him, but Arlong was too enraged which it's not nearly enraged as Ventus is. Ventus then knew that the number of fishmen going after him as one of them about to lunge after the young Dragoon.
"Doom Spike" Ventus then delivers a number of slash projectiles at them, slicing their limbs off when they lose the arms and legs, leaving them scream in agony.
"Blood of the Dragon" Ventus then began to unleash the dragon aura that an appearance of a Western Dragon, leaving the fishmen stunned as it surrounds him. He then showed the glowing bloody red eyes with rage.
"Geirskogul" Ventus then delivers an aura of dragons after them, killing the number of fishmen in the process.
Arlong was completely shocked with horror in dread, seeing that this fight is gruesome when he saw his comrades missing his limbs, heads were sliced off clean, and the fishmen were torn into pieces by the aura of dragons and splattered all over the place. The stingray fishman named Kuroobi approaches in front of him with his fighting stance.
"Like you can use your weapon of that mastery!" Kuroobi sneered. "I'll bring you down with my Fishman Karate!"
"Chaos Thrust" Ventus then rush after him, rapidly thrust at the stingray fishman. Kuroobi was able to raise his arms in time, but with the strength of the dragon and the dragon rage, his multiple thrusts was able to dig it deep into the fins and arms with the amount of force that Ventus dug in his heels.
"Wheeling Thrust" Ventus then begin to stab him three times, and finish him by twirl his body and impaling Kuroobi in the center of the chest, impaled him in the process and having him cough a bit of his blood.
"Stormblood Dragoon" Ventus then stab him in the chest again and decapitate him in the head, causing the blood the spray like a geyser and collapsing down to the ground which Kuroobi is now dead.
Arlong and his crew were stunned that Ventus was able to kill Kuroobi without even trying. Ventus then notice the number of fishmen then charge after him with angry, but the young Dragoon won't let him as he then begin the parry their attacks and counter them by slicing their arms and legs as he then leap up high.
"Raging Dragoon" Ventus then infuse his lance with lightning and darkness as he then dives down, killing off the number of fishmen with the mixture of lightning and dark, leaving the number of fishmen scream in pain and killed.
Nami was able to make her way towards the Arlong Park, but she's too late to stop him when she saw the battle that is horrific and gruesome when she widened her eyes with dread, but she was about to throw up when she some gore. When Ventus landed down to the ground, he then look at Arlong with enraged eyes. Arlong then broke free from Chew and Hachi as he charge after him when he was about to tackle him to the ground, but Ventus grab hold of his mouth, tossed him towards the wall like a ragdoll as he crashed toward the wall. Chew was able to suck the water, but with his dragon hearing, Ventus then readied his lance.
"Piercing Talon" Ventus then hurled the lance at Chew, impaled him in the center of the chest where the heart is, leaving him cough a bit of his blood as Ventus then swipe his head with his claw. Chew was now a bloody mess as the lifeless body then collapse down, resulted dead.
With the entire number of fishmen were killed by the hands of the young Dragoon, Hachi and Nami were completely stunned when they see this battle was bloody and gruesome which no other fishmen would have a chance to fight him. Until, Ventus was starting to grow even more enraged as he then begin to fully transform himself into a dragon, leaving his entire clothes rip into shreds when he's growing into the same height as Arlong is. His scale were brown and copper with dark accents. He now had golden eyes, a short rounded snout, now has eight horns which the six were around the back of his head and one over each eye. The tip of his tail was shaped like a spade with four blades. His claws were now razor sharp along with his razor sharp teeth.
Arlong was able to recover from that crash when he saw Ventus in a different form as the humanoid dragon then roared at him with pure rage. However, Arlong won't back down since he doesn't intimidate that easily when his eyes filled with bestial rage.
"You've killed my brothers! Yet you dare to challenge me!? You're just a pathetic human! You caught us off guard with his surprising strength and skill, but you're nothing more than that! I'll kill you until there's nothing left!?" Arlong snarled with rage.
Ventus didn't even faze of his threat as he then began to breathe fire at Arlong, leaving him caught off-guard as he manage to move out of the way and not getting caught by fire. Arlong then charge after him when he opens his maw as he about to take a bite, but Ventus use his tail to grab hold of his neck, slamming him down to the ground while slams him towards the wall, to the ground again, and threw him towards the water.
'Ventus are you crazy!? You just tossed Arlong at sea, but even so, Arlong didn't even realize that Ventus is half-human and half-dragon.' Nami mentally shouts with fright. 'He also never realize that Dragons are very well-known for rage...And Ventus is really mad.'
Ventus is waiting for him to come out of the water, roared at the sea with a challenge which he got his wish when Arlong was about to bite him. Ventus was able to catch his mouth in time as he then breathe fire at him, burning his internal organs as he then finishes Arlong off by tearing him into two, resulted him dead.
This fight what Nami saw was really horrifying. She saw many dead bodies were sliced, bloody, and guts were littered in the Arlong Park. The entire scene was gory and gruesome, didn't think that Ventus would go this far by killing Arlong and his entire crew, except Hachi, which it was terrifying. With his Dragon Rage, he would go this far as killing the Arlong pirates.
Ventus then grab his lance, pulling it out from the dead carcass as he then approach towards the structure. With his enraged eyes, he then launches himself into the air with high-speed.
'Dragoon's Pride' Ventus then reaches the peak of his jump with the sun behind him and quickly descends, drive his lance through the building, leaving a beam of light that consumes an explosion.
The Arlong Park is destroyed as Ventus then landed on the ground, roared at the sky when the heavens heard the dragon roar. Until, Zoro, Johnny, and Usopp were able to land at the Park, but Ventus then look at the three with anger when he was about to attack them. However, Nami stand right in front of him, holding her hand in defense which Zoro knew that it's Ventus in a dragon form as she spoke.
"Ventus, it's over!" Nami shouts, leaving Ventus stop in his tracks. "This isn't you, please come back to us!"
"She's right, kid! We know you're in there, snap out of it!" Zoro shouts. "You don't have to continue the fight, you've won! It's over!"
Ventus then starts to calm down as he transform back into a human form, his claws and teeth begin to retract back, the horns, wings, and tail were gone, the scales were turning back into a skin, and his eyes were in human form. He then falls unconscious and Zoro manage to grab him.
"Hey, what just happened?" Johnny questions, looking at the horrific scene.
"I'll explain everything, but right now, we need to get Ventus inside." Nami told them seriously. "I know where we can get him inside."
With that, they then take Ventus to a place where he can rest. Nami then ordered Johnny and Usopp to get some clothes for him since his other ones were ripped to shreds due to his transformation. Zoro then grab hold of the young Dragoon while scowling at Nami which she won't win this situation because she's got a lot of explaining to do until Luffy gets back with the seafaring cook.
