Author's Note: Hellooooo! How're you all? I'm doing great! So I have a bit of news to share. To those of you who are fans of my "Justice" Fanfiction, please know that I'm going to be taking some time off that story in order to work on my other projects, I'll be posting an update with the details later to explain everything. Plus, setting up the tournament is going to be really tricky as, and i admit this, I forgot to register the members of the other teams, so now I have to go back and register them, then set up the battles so they aren't one-sided, or at least not so One-sided that it's a total stomp. So yeah, sorry about that guys. Needless to say, "Justice" will be on hiatus for the time being. Anyway, aside from this, I've got a new partner for the foreseeable future who will be helping me with my stories, as well as providing ideas and suggestions for future fanfictions. He goes by the name of PenName of "Devil Dragon Stand Knight", and he is also quite a writer himself. I've read a bit of one of his stories called "Izuku the Devil Fruit Hero" (Though, admittedly, I've been so busy that I haven't gotten past the first chapter yet), but I gotta say it's a pretty cool One Piece/My Hero Academia Crossover Story so far, so please go check it out guys!
Also, for my "Heroes of the Realm" Story, I'm going to have to put another delay out because I have decided to change things a bit for it, due to my recently acquired fascination with a certain kitty/vampire girl from MHA, so sorry about that, I'm going to be changing the roster a bit but I promise you it will be a great change! Plus, this month, "Fizban's Treasury of Dragons" is coming out, so I want to get that book and change up Mikumo a bit to match my narrative!
Anyway, that is enough out of me for now, so please be sure to Follow, Favorite, and Review, and please go check out DDSK's profile and his stories! I'm going to try and find time next week to continue reading "Izuku the Devil Fruit Hero", as I'm liking what I'm seeing so far! And once again, shout-out to DDSK for helping me edit this chapter! Catch ya on the Flipside! MAXIMUM DRIVE!
Chapter 1:
Inko Midoriya receives a message on her phone from an unknown caller, giving her instructions to meet at a park in Musutafu,
"You don't know who I am, and I don't personally know you… However, if you value your family's safety, bring your son and meet me here!" The message says, and Inko, fearing for her life and that of her son, Izuku's, calls a taxi to take her to the location, hoping this is not a Villain's scheme. Within a few minutes, the Taxi arrives and takes them to the park, where there is a woman sitting on a bench, as her son is nearby seemingly using his quirk to remold what appear to be balls of pure iron.
"Hello…" Inko says, nervously. The woman turns to her with a smile, she has long blue hair and eyes of emerald.
"Oh, you've arrived!" The woman says, in which she pats the bench next to her, "Now for our other guest to arrive." Inko nods as Izuku walks over to the boy.
"U-uhm… Hello!" Izuku says, nervously. The boy turns to him, having white hair and green eyes, looking at Izuku. "I'm Midoriya Izuku…!"
"Hello." The boy says. "I'm Shigaraki Baku."
"Wh-what kind of Quirk do you got?" Izuku asks.
"It's called [Alchemy], it's an Emitter style quirk that allows me to reshape materials made of the periodic table of elements into new forms without violating the laws of conservation of mass." The boy simply says.
"Wow! That's so cool!" Izuku says, smiling, "Can you do that for anything?"
"Sort of… It's easier to explain while I do it!" The boy says, taking a putting a small pile of rocks in front of him, and then clapping his hands together, causing them to spark with blue lightning, before placing his hands on the rocks, reshaping them into a stone statuette of All-Might!
"Wow! That's amazing!" Izuku says as he starts writing in his journal like a madman, mumbling rapidly and incoherently.
"Uh, Midoriya, you're mumbling!"
"Eh!? Oh sorry! I just get so excited when I see a new Quirk, and when my starts moving fast, my voice matches my thoughts to try and keep everything in my head organized!" Izuku says.
"Is that part of a Quirk?" Baku asks.
"N-No… I'm Quirkless…" Izuku says, nervously.
"Oh, my apologies!" Baku says, "I didn't mean to assume! Still being Quirkless isn't all bad!"
"Huh?" Izuku asks.
"In this world of superheroes, anything is possible. Besides, some of the greatest heroes of the Pre-Quirk Eras were actually Quirkless! For instance, Batman. He was probably the greatest Quirkless Hero of all time! He just used his gadgets, and his tactical, strategic, analytical mind to actually win most fights, plus a lot of physical conditioning and martial arts training!" He then takes a comic book out of his backpack and hands it to Izuku.
"Whoa!" Izuku says, taking the comic book as he looks at the image of Batman.
"I think that with the right training and the proper preparation, I think you can be a hero too!" Baku says, smiling genuinely, which Izuku begins to tear up with a smile on his face. Inko places a hand on her mouth, tears flowing down her cheeks as she looks at her baby finally hearing the words that he has been hoping to hear for nearly 5 years.
That is when another woman walks over, she has long orange hair that flows down her back, and she is dressed like a businesswoman, a boy about the same age as Izuku and Baku walking next to them as he heaves a heavy briefcase with him.
"Mikumo…" The woman says, a gentle smile on her face, "Go ahead and relax, this won't take long."
"Yes, mother!" He says, smiling as he goes to sit down a short distance away from Izuku and Baku, who look at him, curious, to which they see the boy open the briefcase to reveal something inside it, a collection of what appear to be USB Flash Drives of some kind, and he begins to examine each of them, only for one of them to start reacting.
"So I assume one of you is the one who called this meeting?" The woman says.
"Yes, I was…" The woman with blue hair says, "My name is Shigaraki Shasetsu… This is… Midoriya Inko, correct?" Inko nods, "Now there is a specific reason why I had called you both here today… Tell me, what do you know of your husbands? We'll start with you, Midoriya-san."
"Well my husband has been gone for years, he often sends us money to keep us afloat, but he often works overseas." Inko says.
"My husband is usually away on business trips as well… Though he often says that the people he deals with are so chaotic that they should be labeled as criminals…" The third woman says, "Oh and by the way, I'm Akatani Mika."
"Nice to meet you…" Shasetsu says, to which she brings out a file… "Tell me, does your husband look like this?"
She then reveals the image of a handsome man with white hair and red eyes as he looks at the camera with a smile on his face that held malevolence behind it.
"What? How'd you get this?" Mika asks, to which Shasetsu brings out a family photo, and reveals that Baku is the man's own son.
"No!" Inko herself is shocked and speechless as tears threaten to spill from her eyes as Shasetsu reveals more pictures, each of them from their own families. "How could he?"
"Your husbands are the same as mine… His real name is Shigaraki Hisashi… And he is a criminal mastermind…" Shasetsu explains, "Before you think it, I'm not after you, in fact, it's the exact opposite… I recently divorced that bastard, not only after finding out he had two other sons with two other women, but he's also a crime lord who has a very dangerous quirk. I don't want to hurt your sons, but I want to be able to help them hide from this man."
"No… This can't be true…" Inko says, shaking in both fear and anger. "This can't be true!"
"I'm afraid it is, Midoriya-san…" Shasetsu says, looking down, "Your husband is not who you thought he was."
"WHOA!" Izuku's voice calls out, catching the attention of the mothers. "Are you being serious? You can give Quirks to other people?"
"Yes, I can, I just need a Quirk to copy, and then…" He then creates something from each of his palms, "With these Memory Vessels, I can copy the quirk and then give it to somebody else!"
The boy starts laughing proudly, "With my Memories, I can quickly become rich, and the Quirkless of the world will-"
That is when he looks at the Memory Vessel in his hand and his arms start waving around and Mikumo tries to hold his ground.
"Oh no!"
"What's going on?" Baku says.
"My Quirk has a small problem, it's kind of sentient, and when it sees a Quirk it wants to copy, if I don't do anything, the Vessels will act of their own accor-!" That is when the Memory Vessels fly out of the boy's hands and then rush to Izuku. Baku tries to get in the way, but they bend around him, to which Izuku puts up his arms, and the Vessels fly into Izuku's hands, their connectors touching his flesh before they crackle with energy and begin to change. One of them turning Black with a Z on it, the other pure white with an E on it.
"Zero! Eternal!" The Memories call out respectfully. Izuku, on the other hand, groans in pain, it's not as bad as Kacchan's bullying, but it still hurts a lot, but quickly the pain ends as the Memories fall to the ground. Izuku begins to collapses as the boy and Baku help Izuku sit down after this little experience.
"Are you okay, Midoriya?"
"Yeah…" Izuku says, "That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!" Izuku says, breathing hard. The boy looks to the Memories on the ground and then examines them, "Are those?"
"Yeah, these are your Memories…" Mikumo says, "You said you were, Quirkless, right?"
"I am Quirkless!"
"If that is the case, how did these Memories form? Oh, how rude of me, I'm Akatani Mikumo!" He then reaches into his suitcase.
"Well…" He brings out a combat knife that is in its sheathe… "Now, let's begin the experiment!"
The Combat knife seems to have some kind of USB Port connected to the guard, in which Mikumo takes the Eternal Memory and then inserts it into the slot.
"Eternal! Maximum Drive!" The Knife calls out, but upon finishing the call, a wave of force erupts out from the knife, not powerful enough to knock people over, but strong enough to get their attention. That is when Mikumo presses the button on the slot and suddenly a second wave erupts from it, and the bodies of everyone in the park begin to spark, red veins appearing over their bodies as they all collapse to their knees, only for the veins and sparks to fade the next second, and everyone looks at themselves. One little kid tries to use their power, only to find their Quirk isn't activating. Then an adult tries to do the same.
"Amazing…" Mikumo says, taking out his notebook, and rapidly writing notes, "So Eternal disables Quirks! What does Zero do?" He then removes the Eternal Memory from the slot and inserts the Zero Memory.
"Zero! Maximum Drive!" The same wave of force erupts, and when Mikumo presses the button on the slot, everyone sees sparks flowing on them again, only for blue veins to flow through their body, and when they try to use their quirks again, it happens, and Mikumo rapidly writes down notes whilst mumbling like a madman.
"Amazing! This is Fascinating! So this is the Power of the Quirkless!" Mikumo says, smiling big at this. He then opens his briefcase and then places Eternal and Zero in slots specific to them. He then smiles as he turns to Izuku, "Thank you, Midoriya!" He smiles big at that, to which Izuku looks at Mikumo with a shocked look on his face.
"Wait, what are you going to do with those Memories?"
"What else? I'm going to be a Hero!" Mikumo says, "While I do intend to sell my Memories, the ones in this Briefcase are my personal connections, filled with Memories I made from the quirks of people I care about. If I put a Memory in my personal stash, that person meant a lot to me! But from you, I got two Memories, so you mean more to me than most people do!" He smiles at Izuku, who looks at the boy in front of him, "And your friend there is right… You can be a hero!"
Izuku looks at Mikumo, who smiles genuinely at the Quirkless individual, and smiles as he sheds tears again.
"Our boys do get along well…" Shisetsu says, smiling.
"Yeah…" Inko says, smiling as she looks down, "And they still believe in Izuku, when I didn't…"
"We all make mistakes." Mika says, "So let's try to avoid making too many in the future!"
"Yes, you're right!" Inko says, smiling. The three of them put their fists together, "Let's do our best… For the boys."
"Right!" Shisetsu and Mika say, which, after this day, the 3 families split up, having decided to remain out of physical contact with each other for a while…
Five Years Later…
It has been years since Izuku last met Mikumo and Baku, the young man smiling as he looks at UA Highschool, his eyes wide with wonder as he begins to take his first step, only for his left foot to hook around his right leg and he begins to collapse, only for him to trip and begin to fall.
"Time, Maximum Drive!" A voice calls out as a hand reaches out and grabs Izuku, preventing him from falling.
"Whoa there, Izuku! The first time I see you in 5 years, and here you are, trying to give yourself a concussion!"
"Huh?" Izuku asks, looking behind him to see who is holding him up. He smiles as he sees a young man with Grey Hair, Green eyes, and a cocky smile on his face, whilst holding a recognizable briefcase in his hand. "Mikun!"
"That's the nickname, don't wear it out!" Mikumo says, smiling, "So finally ready to take the entrance exams?"
"Y-yeah! Wait, where is Bakun?" Izuku asks.
"Oh yeah, we never got ahold of you!" Mikumo says, smiling, "He's taking the Recommendation Exams!"
"What, really? That's awesome!" Izuku says, smiling with stars in his eyes, "That's amazing!"
"It is! But anyway, let's get inside!" Mikumo explains.
One Presentation Later…
After the Presentation by Present Mic, Mikumo is standing before the gates of a giant reconstructed City, in which he opens his Suitcase and reveals what is inside. It appears to be a belt of some kind, along with the Memoryedge, strapped to the top half of the briefcase, whilst below it, in the lower half, there are 26 slots with 7 of them filled. Time, Rage, Author, Virus, Eternal, Zero, and Memory… He smiles as he takes the Belt and Memoryedge, placing the buckle against his waist as the belt wraps itself around him, whilst attaching the Memoryedge to the left side of his belt as what appears to be a Memory slot appears on the right. He takes the memories he has in his suitcase and slips them into a holder hanging off his belt.
If one were to look at the belt, it is highly technical, but more than that, it has a slot in it designed and shaped for a single memory, but more than that the belt seems to have been meticulously designed to be able to move into a position that doesn't hamper the body's movements. However, more than this the belt's design carries with it a specific mark on it, revealing it was developed on a location known as I-Island, and Mikumo is proud of that. He then picks up the Memory and presses the button on it.
"Memory!" It calls out, and as he is about to put it in the slot, someone turns to him.
"Ah! You!" The woman says, "I remember you!"
"Huh?" Mikumo asks, looking to the woman in question. "Wait a minute, aren't you Lady Nagant's daughter?"
"That's right! I'm Sougeki Takara!" The young woman says, looking at him. "Thank you so much for this!"
She holds up a Memory with the letter A on it, with the English word for "Arms" being seen on it.
"Thanks to you, I got my powers back!" Everyone listens in as they look to Mikumo, who simply smiles at her, "So thank you!"
"Hey, it's no trouble! I'm always willing to help someone out!" Mikumo says, smiling at her. He then slips the Memory Memory into the slot of his belt and moves the slot to the side, where it activates.
"Memory!" The Memory calls out, in which it is followed by a beautiful sound as what appears to be a crystalline liquid flows around Mikumo and creates a type of suit around his body with a helmet over his head with two large green eyes whilst the rest is a pale grey color. The entire suit appears to be skin tight and has what appears to be light armor plates throughout it, with the helmet being especially reinforced, whilst having what appears to be a decorative crystalline brain made of green crystalline plastic or glass molded into it. Once the suit fully forms, a cloak forms over his shoulders.
"Whoa! Is this what you were preparing this whole time?" Takara asks.
"Yes… I am Kamen Rider… Memory…!" Mikumo says, "Oh and here it comes!"
"STAAART!" Present Mic calls out, to which Mikumo charges ahead of everyone. With everyone standing stunned as Present Mic gives them a suitable chastising, Mikumo rushes in as a 3-Pointer turns the corner and Mikumo smiles as he takes out the Time Memory and slides it into the Memoryedge's Memory Slot.
"Time! Maximum Drive!" Holding the knife backhanded, Time slows down for everyone and Mikumo slashes the robot to pieces.
"Time Break!" Mikumo says, smiling as the robot is cleaved in two by the Memoryedge. Time restarts and Mikumo continues attacking the robots as they come. Unfortunately, one of the examinees calls out to him.
"Hey, masked man!" The boy says, smiling at Mikumo, talking in a condescending kind of way. "That's a pretty good Quirk you got there!" He jumps at Mikumo with his hand outstretched, "Hope you don't mind if I borrow it!"
Mikumo dodges the obvious movement but the Memory Memory doesn't take kindly to it. The examinee keeps trying to grab onto Mikumo as he dodges the oncoming attacks, in which the Examinee just smiles. "Oh, are you afraid of me? Scared I'll take your precious Quirk!?"
"What is wrong with you, why do you want my Quirk so much!?" Mikumo asks, dodging another attack, but this one hits its mark as the examinee skids past Mikumo, holding a white Memory in his hand. "What the!?" He looks at his belt and sees Eternal is gone.
"Now I can have a permanent advantage!" The young man says, laughing, only for Mikumo to simply smirk under his helmet.
"Go ahead and try it!"
"You asked for it!"
"Eternal!" The Memory says, in which Neito stabs the Memory into his neck, only to feel unspeakable pain and relentless agony, red veins glowing on his skin as the young man screams.
"What is this!?" Monoma screams as he tries to rip Eternal out of his body. "What's going on!"
"Eternal is the Memory of Quirklessness, when activated at its full strength, Eternal removes the quirks of any and all who come into contact with it."
"What!?" The student asks. "Take it out of me!"
"No can do, you wanted this, now you have t-" that is when a three pointer appears and Mikumo rushes to the boy, pulling him out of the way. "To let nature run its course."
Examination Room
"So that was a Memory, huh?" A tired-looking voice asks. "And that boy, he tried attacking another examinee…"
"He is out of the running for his actions, and it looks like he is paying for it now…" a wise voice says. "He should have done his research into the Memories before trying to steal one at random."
"That's terrifying, he said that that specific memory can induce Quirklessness on people… if that boy became a Villain…" a stronger voice says, shivering. 'Though it seems he is friends with Young Midoriya… So this boy…' he then pauses and looks to see the boy's feature's more closely, 'No! It can't be!' That is when he sees the boy do something unexpected.
Simulated City…
"Zero! Maximum Drive!" The Zero Memory says as it is inserted into the Memoryedge, and crackling energy rips through Monoma's body as the Eternal Memory flies back into Mikumo's hand.
"I've restored your Quirk. Maybe next time you'll do more research into my Memories." Mikumo says, walking off, only for the boy to rise off the ground, picking up a pipe, insanity, and rage filling his eyes as he lifts up the pipe and swings.
"Time! Maximum Drive!" The Time Memory calls out as Mikumo vanishes and Neito hits another examinee over the head, knocking them out. That is when the most inopportune thing happens, the ground erupts as the Zero-Pointer makes its appearance. Most of the examinees begin to flee, but Mikumo doesn't back down, taking out the Memory Memory from his Driver and slides it into the slot on his belt. "Memory! Maximum Drive!"
"Memory Loss!" Mikumo says, jumping skyward as he aims a kick into the Robot's face, causing it not only to fall apart, but then begin to turn to dust. Landing safely, Mikumo turns his back to the machine.
"Stay where you belong… In my Memories…"
With his words, the machine explodes into Metal dust as a Memory Vessel lands at his feet. It's a Blank, with no Quirk inside it at all, but Mikumo is fine with that. "Had that been used on a human with a Quirk, it would have completely removed their Quirk if used in the Memoryedge, or killed them and made a complete copy, as I had just done. Thank goodness that was just a robot…"
He picks up the blank Memory Vessel, and slips it into his pocket, walking away as time is called.
An hour later, the Recommendation Exams…
Baku smiles as he stands at the starting line of the Practical part of the Exams, his eyes looking over the candidates, and one of them catches his eye, a beautiful woman who seems to be creating something with her quirk. His eyes look carefully and he sees she is creating a pair of rollerblades to try and give herself a leg up in the competition. He also notices a skeletal-looking boy who seems to be crouching down, as if preparing for something. Another is a young woman who seems to be pulling off a piece of herself and preparing to throw it. Finally, there are two young men, one whose body gives off a gentle wind breeze, and another with chimeric hair but eyes that burn with cold fury.
The start is soon sounded as everyone rushes down the track, Baku smiling as he claps his hands on the ground and jumps ahead of him. Much to the surprise of most, Baku is sliding across the floor as if it were ice, though, in truth, he used his Quirk, [Alchemy] to remove the friction between his shoes and the ground. This is tricky as he has to restore the ground friction back to normal after he propels himself forward or risk hurting the other examinees. Ahead of him are the chimeric-haired boy and the wind lad, who are quickly coming up on the finish, just about ten seconds ahead of him. However, someone is also catching up from behind, the beautiful woman whose skates turn out to be Air Skates, a new type of eco-friendly roller blades. After the two ahead of them get in, Baku and the girl tie for third while the bone man and the girl who ripped herself part come in fifth and sixth respectfully.
The students finish up the race, in which Baku smiles as he looks at the group and walks over to the two frontrunners.
"Hey, you two!" Baku says, catching their attention. "Good race, both of you! That was an awesome display of power from the two of you!"
"Oh! So you've got a burning spirit too, huh? I am glad to see another person like me around!" The one who had generated whirlwinds says, smiling at them. He then turns to the chimeric-haired boy. "And you two! That was awesome!"
"Shut up…" The boy says, to which Baku notices the look in the examinee's eyes, filled with nothing but hate and rage. "I didn't come here to make friends…"
"You're Shoto Todoroki, aren't you?" Baku asks, looking at him, "Just because you're angry with your pops doesn't mean you can take it out on others!" He walks between Inasa and Shoto.
"How do you know about that!?" Shoto says, glaring at Baku, the air growing colder, in which Baku puts his hands together, creating flames from the air between his palms.
"Let's just say that the hospital your mom is in is owned by my family, and after I snuck into the files of the Psychiatric Ward… I figured out what was going on…" Baku says, glaring at him, "And trust me, I know what you're going through, I hate my father as well, but I don't let him control my life by becoming him."
Shoto looks at Baku with a bit of surprise on his face. "That's right, I said it, you're letting your old man control you by letting him turn you into him!"
He then looks to Inasa, "And don't mind Todoroki, Cyclone, let's just say his pops isn't the best father figure, and he's trying to break away from that cold bastard…"
"I…" Inasa says, looking down, then he clenches his fist and bows hard enough to slam his head into the concrete. "I'm sorry! I misjudged you!"
Shoto looks at Inasa, stunned by both this display of humility, and by the words Baku had said.
"I…I also apologize… He's right… I'm letting my father dictate my actions, even in rebellion…" Shoto says as he looks down before offering a hand to Inasa, "It will take a while before I obtain this "burning spirit" you talk about, but at least know that I'm not angry with you, but I didn't mean to let my actions insult you."
Inasa smiles and takes his hand, the two shaking. Baku smiles as he nods and then turns to see three other Recommendation Examinees nod in approval of Baku's actions, the young man smiling, only to feel something, and looks up, in which glass shatters as what appears to be a Memory Vessel lands in front of Baku. "Hmm? What's that?"
"A Memory Vessel!" Baku says, picking it up, "My brother must've used his Memory Memory to defeat one of the robots, and this must've gotten launched over here…" He then feels a slight tug on it. "OH CRAP!"
Baku starts holding onto the Memory Vessel tightly as it struggles to get out of his grip.
"What's going on here!?" Present Mic shouts, in which he sees Baku getting tossed around like a ragdoll as he tries to keep a grip on what is in his hand.
"Whoa!" It then flies from Baku's hand, rising into the air with a glowing light before diving down towards Inasa Yoarashi. Raising his hand and generating a gust of wind, Inasa tries to stop the Vessel mid-flight. Unfortunately, it barely slows down and connects with Inasa's palm, causing him to scream in agony as white veins appear on his body, and the memory begins to glow green.
"CYCLONE!" The Memory shouts, and then drops to the ground, Inasa gasping for breath once it is on the ground. Baku rushes over and finds the Memory Vessel, however, he has only seen this kind only once. It is a Memory with green coloration, like a normal Memory, but it has what appear to be ridges flowing through it, and a red Connector on it.
"Oh no!" Baku quickly picks it up and creates a stone box to seal it in. "That was close!"
"What was that?" Present Mic asks.
"One of the downsides of my brother's Quirk. He's able to create these Memory Vessels, and they are able to hold copies of the person's Quirk. He told me that some Memories are so powerful they come out in a Raw State, like the one I just sealed. If used by anyone, the Memory will transform them into monsters, and slowly drive them insane. This happens 1/26 times Mikumo Copies a Quirk with a Memory Vessel… He has a special machine on I-Island that can refine Raw Memories into a weaker, but safer, Refined State." Baku explains, "That is why I need to get this to I-Island soon so it can be refined safely…"
"I can talk to the principal to have it transported." Present Mic says.
"Good, but whatever you do, don't open the box, and if it breaks, don't touch it directly! The Raw Memories have mind-altering effects to those who make skin contact with them, especially if the Quirk belongs to them." Baku explains, looking at Inasa. "Once it's refined, I'll request it be returned to Yoarashi-san, as it's his Memory, he'll be able to use it more effectively."
Inasa stands as he looks at Baku, and nods with a grateful smile on his face.
"Right, smart move, young listener!" Present Mic says, gently taking the box. "Well the Exams are over, everyone, you may head on home! The results will be delivered directly to your homes within a month's time."
Outside UA
"YOU DID WHAT!?" Mikumo shouts at his little brother as they sit down and have some snacks. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! I KNOW IT WAS OUR FAULT FOR NOT GETTING IN CONTACT WITH YOU, BUT YOU JUST HAD TO SCARE US LIKE THAT, COMING OUT OF THE EXAM WITH A TENDER ARM IN A SLING!"
"I-I'm sorry!" Izuku says.
"I don't share Miku's level of outrage at this, Izuku, but you should have at least told Mikumo what was going on!" Baku says, giving him a look of disappointment
"But I-!" Izuku says.
"Izu, we're the sons of the most powerful Villain in this country, we're trying to get rid of him for good!" Mikumo says, grabbing his brother's ear, not twisting or pulling it, just getting his attention. "If you can't trust us with such crucial information so that we can watch your back, who can you trust? And don't even think about that Bomberman you think is your friend, Izuku!"
"He's right on this one…From what I got out of the students at your school a while back, Bakugou told you to commit suicide, and that is not something we will just let him get away with!" Baku says as he looks at his brother, anger, but also sorrow, in his eyes. "Thanks to him, if your will wasn't as strong as it is, we could have lost you…!"
"You're irreplaceable to us, Izu…" Mikumo says, a tear escaping his control, "We already lost a lot thanks to our bastard of a father, we can't lose you too…"
"Miku… Baku…" Izuku says, shedding tears, but smiles at them. "Thank you!"
"It is no trouble, Izuku… Just don't hide things from us again!" Mikumo says, to which Baku nods, smiling. Nearby, a skeletal man listens in on the trio from the booth next to him, doing his best to keep quiet as he looks at the boys, his worst fears confirmed upon closer inspection, but then again… The Sweet Irony of it all leaves a better taste on his tongue than the tea he is sipping on.
"So All For One has three sons, and they all reject his legacy… Oh, Master, this couldn't be any better if I had planned it myself…" Toshinori Yagi thinks, smiling as he sips his tea. "I have to build these boys up to be the best heroes they can be, I've already got one under my wing, I just need the other two to join in… Then once [One For All] leaves me, Hero Society won't just have a single symbol holding it up, but three strong pillars to hold the line…"
He then pauses his train of thought with a smile creeping across his face, "Pillars… The Three Pillars of Prosperity, born as Sons of the Demon King… The irony is just so delicious… I wish those three boys luck in their endeavors... Now I can't wait for the school year to start! PLUS ULTRAAAAAA!"
