When he puts on grey sweatpants and a crispt white T...
"Where are you going dressed like a slut?"

I am sorry but I just had to! *sheepish face*

He had just put on his plain white T-shirt when Katniss emerged from the bathroom and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Where are you going dressed like a slut?" she hissed and Peeta flinched at the harsh undertone.

"Um...a run?" he asks instead of telling and Katniss frowns.

"No fucking way!" she yells and crosses her arms defiantly. "I am telling you if you go to the damn run wearing lingerie, I am coming with you," she says and Peeta stifles a chuckle making her narrow her eyes and scowl.

"And if any man or woman dar let their eyes rest on your sweatpants covered dong, I'll gauge their eyes out and feed them all to Buttercup, you mark my words, Peeta Mellark."

"Did you just say 'dong'?" he asked, chuckling and saw the barest hint of a smile on her face.

"I did, come on now, husband, we don't want to deprive you of your morning run," she said and pulled him outside, leaving the task of locking the door on him.

She had spent the entire run glaring at anyone whose eyes wandered at her man's appendage and even went as far as giving the finger and kissing him hard on the mouth in public. She was THAT jealous and overprotective.

She also had a hard time keeping up with him due to her thirty-nine-week pregnant belly slowing her down, but she made it, even if she barked at him to 'slow the fuck down' about a dozen times.

"Oh, God! My legs hurt and my feet are more swollen than ever!" she complained when Peeta unlocked the door and let her in first.

"Why would you insist on going on a run wearing your underwear when I am about to fucking blow this baby out?" she asked, pissed but Peeta kneeled in front of her and started massaging her feet.

"If you're that worried about inducing labour, why do you insist on jumping my bones half the day?" he retorted and she glared daggers at him. He ignored her expression and continued rubbing her feet.

No matter how much Peeta loved having children, he was ready for their first one to be born already or his cranky wife would unman him.

He was so absorbed in his task he didn't notice Katniss' whimper.

"Peeta," she said in a small voice, "my water broke." Peeta had spoken too soon.

He picked his wife and rushed to the door, ignoring her screams of "Change into real clothes, Peeta, I don't want our baby seeing you like this!" and " No, I am not giving birth if you come to the hospital looking like a stripper!"
