Chapter 2 Episode 1: Stone World
This is the story of Dr. Stone.
"Dr. Stone…?" Petra was scared of what the Warden had shown them. If that destroyed place truly was Subaru's old world then what happened to his friends (lol) what happened to his family? Were they still alive? All of these thoughts made Petra even more upset as she started tearing up.
Episode 1: Stone world, begin.
"That day, everyone in the world turned to stone."
"Everyone in the world turned to stone!? What kind of magic could be capable of such a thing!? Julius was shocked that something like that happened. To be able to turn everyone in the world to stone would be comparable or more than what the witch of envy could do. And that terrified him.
"The amount of mana needed to do such a thing would be enormous! Who or what could have caused this to happen, I suppose!? Beatrice was utterly stunned when she heard that everyone had turned to stone. A spell of that magnitude would be one of the most complex spells in existence along with the amount of mana to even use a spell like that.
"Maybe it was their version of the witch or sin archbishops that turned everyone to stone? That would be more probable than magic causing it." Anastasia doubted that magic would be able to turn everyone in the world into stone. So she thought that it was the witch of their world or archbishops with their authorities.
Al was looking around seeing everyone in shock and decided to say something. "No, that's not it. It wasn't magic nor was it a witch or any archbishops, it was something else entirely."
Everyone in the theatre then turned to look at Al with bewildered gazes. To say something other than magic, archbishops or the witch would be able to cause this would be foolishness.
"Aldebaran, explain yourself at once." The vollachian princess knew that Al was foolish, but to be foolish enough to suggest that something like turning everyone in the world into stone wasn't caused by magic, archbishops or the witch was utter madness.
Al sighed heavily before talking. "In our world, we don't have a witch, archbishops, or magic/mana."
Everyone in the theatre was stunned when they heard this. To them only an archbishop or the witch would be capable of this, so hearing Al saying that it was neither was absurd.
"What!? That's impossible! Not having archbishops or a witch is one thing but not having magic is impossible, in fact! Beatrice yelled at the helmeted man.
"This isn't time for jokes, you damn weirdo!" Felt was annoyed that Al wasn't being serious in a situation like this.
"I don't care whether or not you all believe me I'm just stating what I know." Al said nonchalantly, he really didn't care if they believed him or not all he wanted to do was to speak his mind.
"He isn't lying." Said both Crusch and Reinhard in unison
"See? Both Crusch and Reinhard are saying that I'm not lying."
"But how is that possible Al-san? Magic is a necessity in life so how is it possible that your and Natsuki-sans world doesn't have it? Otto was curious about how and why they didn't have magic. As unbelievable as it sounds, if 2 people with divine blessings that can detect a lie say that he isn't lying then all they could do was believe him.
"Don't know, don't care, pal. Just accept that we don't have magic in our world."
Many in the theatre wanted to ask more questions about Al's and Subaru's world but decided it was more important to ask about how everyone in their world turned to stone.
"Then whaaaaat do you propose could haaaaave done that?" Dumb clown asked while closing his left eye.
"The best I can come up with is that it was a secret organization or aliens."
"Aliens? Th' hell is that." Garfiel asked curiously. He had heard his captain saying that word a couple of times but never asked him what it meant.
"Aliens are creatures from space or another planet from Subaru's world, I suppose."
"Yeah, maybe they turned all humans into stone because they saw us as threats or dangerous." To Al, it seemed like a valid explanation I mean who wouldn't want to wipe out humanity after all the dumb shit we have done.
"If it truly were these "aliens" then why didn't a being like the divine dragon protect them?" To Crusch this seemed to validate her way of thinking. To her, it just proved that beings like the dragon didn't care about humanity or its downfall.
"That's because in my old world we didn't have any dragons, hell we don't even have demihumans or spirits, only humans and animals. Demihumans, dragons, witches, and magic were just fantasy to us."
Everyone was even more shocked. They not only didn't have magic but also didn't have demihumans? They wanted to ask more questions but decided not to. As they stopped talking the screen lit up showing a green door being opened by a brown-haired boy
Brown-haired boy: Listen up, Senku! I've made up my mind. I'm going to confess these feelings I've had for Yuzuriha for the past five years!
Everyone in the room was looking at the brown-haired boy with looks of shock and surprise, and in the middle of the room, it showed another boy with hair that looked like a damn leek.
Senku: Yeah? Well, that sure does sound interesting. I'll be cheering for you so hard that my vocal cords snap. From here in this science lab."
Brown-haired boy: You will? Thanks, Senku!
Senku: Shut up. I'm not cheering one millimeter for you, you big oaf.
Big oaf: What!? Make up your mind!
Senku: And you haven't said anything for the past five years? How illogical can you be, idiot?
Everyone in the theatre was amused by these two boys' interactions. Some smiled while others gave small chuckles but some didn't care like the fiery-haired vollachian princess.
"It seems like the brown-haired boy is going to confess his feelings for the woman he loves. Just like I did for my wife all those years ago." Wilhelm had a small smile on his face while thinking of the day he confessed to his wife, Theresia Van Astrea.
"Doesn't this Senku person sound like Natsuki-san?" Otto was surprised by how similar his brother and this boy sounded. He sounded like Subaru if he were to talk slower and with less enthusiasm.
"Y'h, he really does sound like cap'n." Garfiel had thought the same as Otto
"He does sound like Subaru-kun. But Subaru-kuns voice is still the and most handsome!" Rem declared unaware of Ram staring at her with a look of surprise and disgust.
"Hah! Whenever Barusu speaks I get a headache from how stupid he sounds." Said Ram while doing her signature "Hah!".
While everyone else was talking about the two boys' interactions or how the brown-haired boy was going to confess to the girl he loved. However Anastasia didn't care about any of that and was instead looking intently at the machine Senku was working on wondering what it was.
"What is that weird metal contraption?" Anastasia wanted to know what it was and what purpose it had.
Senku: I've got something for you that's logical as hell. A drug that'll stimulate your pheromone output to the max. A love potion if you will. Take this, and you're set, ten billion percent.
Everyone in the theatre was surprised to hear that they have love potions. Many thought that the idea of love potions was pathetic and using one was dishonorable. But there were some in the theatre that were wondering if they could get one.
"Holy shit, they made love potions after I got transported? Damn humans must be getting quite desperate." Al mused while laughing a bit.
"Pheromone? What is nyat?" Felix asked aloud.
"It is most likely a "chemical" that my contractor would say, I suppose"
"A chemical? What does that mean nyah?."
"A chemical could be a substance, gas, or a compound of sorts. In this case, it would be a chemical that enhances a person's sex appeal, I suppose."
Felix was amazed by what he heard. He thought that there might be a chemical that could be used for healing injuries and curing diseases. Beatrice and Felix hadn't noticed Anastasia listening in on their conversation and writing down everything she heard.
The screen shows the brown-haired boy holding and looking at the "love potion" and pouring it into a sink
Big oaf: Thanks, Senku, but sorry. I can't rely on cheap tricks.
He then walks out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Random guy: Seriously, Senku? A love potion?
Senku: Like those even exist.
A match is then seen being tossed into the sink where the gasoline got poured, when it got into the sink it created a fire.
Senku: It's just gasoline. I refined it from plastic bottle caps. Think about the molecular structure of polyethylene, moron. It's just a long gasoline molecule with a few hydrocarbons chopped off. You can tell by looking at it."
Random guy 1: Uh, no, I can't.
Random guy 2: No way.
Those that didn't like the idea of a love potion were relieved that it was just "gasoline"? Many in the theatre were confused by what Senku was saying. They didn't know what gasoline, molecular structure, polyethylene, molecules, or hydrocarbons were.
"Reinhard, did you write down everything he said?"
"Yes, Julius, though I don't know what any of these means."
"I don't think any of us do nyah."
Random guy 3: So… wouldn't Taiju-kun have died if he drank it?
"What! Are you saying that he would have died if he drank that, what was he thinking?!" Felt said angrily.
"That was reaaaally mean of Senku!" Emilia was surprised that Taiju would have died if he drank the drink, and was upset at Senku for giving it to him.
Senku: I was ten billion percent sure he wasn't wouldn't drink it. Not that straight-laced idiot.
"So he was completely sure that he wasn't going to drink it then." The green-haired duchess was relieved that Taiju didn't drink the potion and that Senku knew he wouldn't drink it. However, she was still very upset at Senku for even giving him the potion in the first place.
"But still what if he actually did drink it and die…" Tivey said quietly.
"Well, I guess it's all fine in the end since he didn't drink it. Senku and Taiju seem to have known each other for a long time, so maybe Senku knew how Taiju would react and gave the potion to him." Ricardo mused. He could tell by just looking at how Senku and Taiju interacted and that they were good friends.
The screen then switched to showing a girl looking at a broken tree branch as she unties her bow.
"Is that Yuzuriha?"
"Yeah, probably."
Big oaf: Yuzuriha! Sorry to keep you waiting.
Yuzuriha: So, what's up Taiju-kun? What did you want to tell me?
Taiju is shown sweating looking at Yuzuriha nervously.
Random guy 1: A hundred yen says he gets rejected.
Random guy 2: Three hundred yen says he gets rejected hard.
Random guy 3: Five hundred yen says he gets rejected at full power.
"What the hell? Why are they betting money on him getting rejected?" Al was kinda irritated that the three guys were betting money on him getting rejected while they watched.
"They are what doing what now?! At least Taiju has the damn balls to confess to the girl he likes. While those three guys probably get nervous by just being near a girl." Felt was also mad at what she was seeing. From what she has seen Taiju seems to be a good guy and didn't stoop low enough to use the "love potion" so seeing people bet money on him getting rejected was very upsetting to see.
Senku: Ten thousand yen says he actually doesn't.
Random guy 1,2 and 3: Seriously?!
"Yeah, Now tha's what I like t'see!" Garfiel was happy that Senku was actually a good friend and believed that Taiju wouldn't get rejected even going as far as to bet many times more than the three other guys.
"So, Senku does believe that Taiju-san would succeed in getting together with Yuzuriha-san." Otto was happy that Taiju at least had a friend that believed in him.
Taiju: I was afraid that by telling her how I feel, she wouldn't want to be my friend anymore. I've been a coward all this time. Hear me out, Yuzuriha. But today's the day. For the past five years, I've…
Screen switches to Senku looking out of the window and then back to Taiju.
"Why did he stop?"
"Why is everything so quiet now?"
Everyone was wondering why Taiju stopped. Some thought the screen may be malfunctioning while others just waited to see what would happen.
Taiju: What's that light?
The screen was now showing different scenes. It was first showing a part of the city and the sky and then it showed people from different parts of Japan and finally showing the planet being overtaken by this light.
"What the hell!? What is happening to Earth!" Yelled Al as he stood up from his chair.
"Dear dragon…"
"Is thiiiiiis how everyone turned to stooooooone? How intreeeeesting." Roswaal mused while smiling.
Taiju: Yuzuriha! Hang on to that camphor tree! I don't know but…
However, before Taiju could finish his face was suddenly turning into stone. It then showed other people turning into stone statues.
Random girl: What's going on? It's so dark.
Random man: I can't move.
Random guy: I can't speak… Someone help!
It then showed people from other parts of the world speaking in different languages.
Random woman: What's happening?!
Random man: Help… Help!
First, it was the United States and then China, Rome, a beach, Egypt, and finally a street with cars and trucks that had crashed into each other. Showing a man being run over by a car and then an airplane plummeting down while showing the pilots and when it finally got down to the ground it made a massive explosion.
Girl: Help me… Mom, Dad… Am I… going… to die?
And then the screen went black.
Saying that everyone in the theatre was shocked would be a massive understatement. Some were sobbing by seeing so many people begging for help and to be saved. The knights were clenching their fists in despair and anger knowing that they couldn't save any of them. They wanted nothing more than to jump in and help them in any way they could.
Others were terrified of the possibility of this happening to them. Being turned into stone without any warning and them having no way to stop it or even prepare. From what they saw it all happened in under a minute. However, none were more shocked than the silver-haired half-elf.
"Is… Is this what the elves in the forest were feeling…? Begging to be saved thinking that they were going to die? Calling out to their family?" All of this had made Emilia much guiltier. If the elves truly were still conscious like the people on the screen then… when Emilia finally frees the elves, they would... Detest her, loathe her, hate her, and despise her, they would want to take revenge, they would want Emilia to suffer, to be isolated, and be alone just like they had been.
Emilia was now crying and subconsciously began to cling to Subaru's sleeping body while silently muttering to herself "I'm sorry" over and over again.
Those in the Emilia camp wanted to comfort her but decided it was better to let her be.
Beatrice knew how it felt to be alone but not to this degree, she at the very least could speak to others and move around while the people on the screen couldn't. They were frozen, unable to move, only being able to think to themselves. She knew that without having Puck or anyone else to talk to she would have gone insane a long time ago.
Everyone had differing views and emotions on this, but one thing they all thought was how long? How long until they would be free? No… Would they ever be free?
"I'm now fucking grateful that I got transported to this world." Al hadn't ever thought he would be grateful to have been transported into the Re:zero world but here he was happy that he got transported and didn't suffer the same fate as everyone did back home.
"Fate truly is cruel…" Otto whispered to himself thinking that nobody heard him.
"What do you mean Otto-bro…?" Garfiel was confused by what his brother meant by what he said.
"What do you mean by that Otto-san?" Frederica was currently holding a crying petra in her arms while having a sad look on her face.
Everyone in the Emilia camp turned to face Otto so he could explain what he meant.
"...Think about it, if Natsuki-san didn't get transported into our world he would have been turned into stone. It didn't matter whether he is in our world or his old one… He would suffer either way."
"So, it doesn't matter what happens... Subaru-kun will suffer, it doesn't matter if he is in our world or his old one..."
"And if he were to even return back to his old world…-" Before Otto could finish talking Beatrice interrupted and spoke for him.
"Everyone in his world would be stone statues, I suppose."
Do you all need a break so that you can calm down a bit?
"Warden-sama I thought you were going to eat and sleep."
I was but I couldn't fall asleep so here I am. So do you all want a break?
Everyone was silent but after a bit of thinking, they said they wanted to continue.
"We want to continue watching Warden-sama."
"Yes, It was just starting to get interesting." Priscilla was now very interested in what was going to happen next.
Felt would normally tell Priscilla that she is heartless for not caring about all of those people that got turned into stone statues but she was too tired to argue with her.
Alright then, I'm starting it now.
The black screen then showed Taiju with his arms out in the rain.
Taiju: I'm not dead! I have to stay focused, or it'll suck me in. Wake up, damn it! Yuzuriha will be all right. I'm sure she's safe.
It then shows a flashback of Yuzuriha by the tree.
Taiju: I can't go down a coward. I'm going to confess to Yuzuriha!
"He is staying strong so that he can confess his feelings to Yuzuriha." Wilhelm had a smile when Taiju thought about how he needed to confess to Yuzuriha.
Many were happy to see Taiju staying strong and not falling into despair making them respect him a little.
The screen was now showing 3 wolves howling at night, 6 monkeys, a street with a broken fire hydrant, and a large building.
Taiju: I'm going to survive by willpower alone! Whether it's for weeks or months… I'll tell her, no matter what!
As Taiju was saying this the screen showed him being washed up by water, the area around the Tokyo tower being flooded with water, and a water dam breaking.
Taiju: How many decades has it been? Centuries? Millenia? Well, I'm not giving up. I'm gonna tell Yuzuriha. I'll survive, even if it kills me!
"It seeeeeems that many deeeeeeeecades have passed by juuuuuuuust looking at all the moss and vines to have groooooooown everywhere. Maybe even a few centuries haaaaaaaave passed?
"I doubt it would be over a few centuries, I mean wouldn't he go insane if it were any longer than a few hundred years?"
*Bonk* "Tivey you didn't need to say that!"
"Ow ow ow why did you have to hit me?"
"Because it's fun."
"Now now, calm down you two." Anastasia chuckled as she told Tivey and Mimi to calm down.
The screen was now showing the entire planet while the sun was in the background.
"Is that their world? Why is it shaped like a ball? And do they not have a great waterfall as we do?" Crusch was curious as to why their world was round and not flat like theirs.
"It seems so nyah, their world seems to be far different than ours nyah."
If you were to remove Al's helmet you would be able to see a few tears running down his face.
"It really has been so long since I have seen Earth."
The screen now showed a deer looking up while walking out of a forest with its son. As they get out of the forest they see a mountain in the background and a massive forest around it.
"Oh wow, nature in their world is really beautiful." Otto had learned to value nature due to his divine protection of Soul Language. Since he always interacted with animals and bugs.
"Y'h it sure is." Garfiel also knew the importance of nature because of his divine protection of earth spirits. And well since he was born and raised in a forest cut off from civilization.
"Nature really is beautiful without humans huh." Al mused
"What do you mean Al-sama?" Wilhelm wondered why Al said nature looked beautiful without humans.
"Well before everyone turned to stone we had ruined nature, we had cut down millions of trees, caused several forests to burn down, and made many species go extinct."
"What!? Why would they do that?" Petra cried out.
"Because humans are dumb. We know so much yet are so dumb." Al answered with no emotion in his voice.
The screen then shows a drop of a mysterious liquid falling into a pond of the same liquid. It then cuts to the inside and outside of a cave with Taijus stone body in it.
"Is that Taiju-sans body?"
"Yes, I think it is."
It now showed a close-up of his face and…
*Crack*
His left eye was now free. As he noticed this he started trying to get up and slowly but surely other parts of his stone body were cracking.
"He's broken out!" Al yelled, pumping his fist up into the air.
"Y'h! He's out of th' stone!" Garfiel was happy that Taiju was finally free and was excited for what was going to happen next.
"Ahhhhh but he's naked!" Right as Petra said this her eyes got covered by Frederica.
"Soooooo he is finaaaaaaally free." A dumb stupid creepy clown mused.
"But how long has it been since he got petrified?" Emilia asked while tilting her head towards Subaru's shoulder.
Taiju: I broke free! I broke free! Finally!
As Taiju finished talking he look down at this hand and saw a stone fragment.
Taiju: Stone fragments?
Taiju then walked out of the cave to see a statue of a girl and 2 destroyed stone statues."
Taiju: I see. So it did happen to everyone.
It now showed dozens of stone statues everywhere.
Taiju: Just how much time has gone by?
"So he didn't know that it happened to everyone?" Julius could understand how Taiju didn't know but normally most people would consider the possibility of it happening to everyone.
"Yes, as we saw his entire body was coated by stone that includes his ears and eyes so he had no way of knowing." Reinhard answered his friend's question.
"It would be impossible to know exactly how much time has gone by without their inventions, I suppose." Beatrice knew that they wouldn't be able to tell how much time had passed by any normal means.
"Yes, Who knows how many decades, centuries, or maybe even millennia may have passed." Otto really wanted to know how much time had passed but he probably wouldn't get to know.
It now shows Taiju apologizing to a broken statue.
Taiju: I'm sorry. This is all I can do for you right now.
"What a good young fellow he is." Wilhelm said with a soft tone knowing why Taiju apologized.
"But why would he apologize nyah?" Felix didn't mean anything bad by what he said but still, he was curious as to why Taiju apologized even though it wasn't his fault.
"It is likely he wants to give a proper burial to the girl." Rem said softly.
"So he wants to honor her death even though he doesn't know her nyah?" Felix was glad that Taiju wanted to give the girl a proper rest, and didn't just brush her death off.
"It seems so Felis." Julius was also happy that Taiju cared and wanted to honor the dead.
Scene change to Taiju drinking water from a river.
Taiju: As long as the terrain hasn't changed too much, I should be able to follow the river back. Back to that camphor tree…
"He wants to go back to the tree and find Yuzuriha?" Emilia thought that Taiju and Subaru had some similarities. Like how they always thought of the girl they loved. This made Emilia smile and took her mind a bit off the guilt from the elves in the forest.
"So he truly did love Yuzuriha and it wasn't just some crush." Wilhelm thought that he and Taiju were similar in that regard. Thinking of the one they love before themselves.
*Flashback*
Girl 1: Hey, something fell down.
Girl 2: A stone carving of a bird?
Girl 1: Whoever made this is amazing. Look at the detail on the wings.
Girl 2: It looks so real.
Taiju: Maybe it is real. My friend said he saw one like that somewhere else. He posted a photo of it.
Taiju: Poor thing… It might be, like, a bird disease that makes its skin harden.
"Wait, so it happened to birds before humans were turned to stone?" Al was surprised to see that it happened to birds before it did to humans. Maybe it wasn't aliens but an experiment that had gone wrong?
"Maybe the thing or person behind the green light wanted to test if their device worked, I suppose." Beatrice had just assumed it was a device since magic didn't exist in her contractor's world.
The scene went back to Taiju walking through the forest but then went back to another flashback.
Yuzuriha: No vet's office is going to be open before school hours even start. You never think things through, do you?
Taiju: Yuzuriha!
Yuzuriha: Besides, there's no way that stone carving could be a real bird. And you brought it to a vet? You're so silly. I'm embarrassed for you.
Taiju: Of all the people to just happen to run into me when I'm in the middle of being a dolt…
Taiju: Wait… Run into me?
Yuzuriha: Yup, and here's another embarrassing kid who didn't think things through. Imagine that!
Taiju: Hahahahahaha
Yuzuriha: Come on, stop laughing. You did the same thing. We're gonna be late for school now.
And the scene switched back to the forest Taiju was in.
Taiju: Yeah, you're right!
"They look reaaaaaaaally good together." Emilia smiled seeing Taiju and Yuzuriha having fun together since it reminded her of when she and Subaru were together on a date and having fun. "Please wake up… My knight".
"I like Taiju. He seems like a really good guy. I bet we would get along, I mean who wouldn't get along with me. Am I right?" Ricardo laughed as he said this, everyone just ignored him.
Many in the theatre smiled seeing Taiju and Yuzuriha together even though they barely knew anything about them. But they were still happy for them, especially Wilhelm.
"If only we could be together again Theresia…" Said Wilhelm as he had a sad look on his face, but smiled after remembering all the happy times they had together.
The scene goes back to Taiju as he pushed a bush out of the way.
Taiju: Yuzuriha.
Taiju then starts walking forward in an empty part of the forest.
Taiju: I'd never mistake you. Even after thousands of years. You've been alive all this time.
It then showed a big tree with Yuzuriha by it.
Taiju: Good job staying alive! Well done, camphor tree! This whole time, you kept Yuzuriha from washing away and breaking apart!
Taiju: I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. Actually, you were the one protecting who was protecting me, Yuzuriha. It's because of you that I was able to stay alive all this time, alone in that hopeless darkness, for hundreds of years… thousands of years…
Taiju: All right, I can finally say it. Let me finish saying what I was about to say that day. The rest of what I was saying on that day so long ago…
As Taiju said this he had started crying. It then showed a flashback back to Yuzuriha by that tree so long ago
Taiju: I've loved you… for hundreds of years… thousands of years…
Many in the theatre started tearing up while some cried silently and loudly. The thought of loving someone for countless amounts of years and finally saying you love that person but they couldn't even say anything back was truly heartbreaking. Even those who didn't care like Priscilla and Roswaal just closed their eyes in silence and respect.
"This is truly heartbreaking to watch…" Wilhelm knew what it felt like to love someone very dearly. So seeing another man wait many years just to confess but not get a response was saddening for the old man.
"This… this is…" Beatrice didn't bother trying to finish what she was going to say. What she had seen deeply resonated with her. Beatrice had waited for 400 years to find "They" and Taiju waited an unknown amount of time and she was sure it wasn't just a couple measly few years. While she found "They" in Natsuki Subaru, Taiju did find his version of "They" in Yuzuriha after so long but he could not do anything to interact with her. Beatrice had thought of the possibility of her and Subaru one day never being able to talk or be with eachother again, and that deeply saddened the great spirit.
The same could be said for Roswaal, he has been waiting for over 400 years just to reunite with his teacher but the thought of Echidna being alive but unable to speak with Roswaal made him deeply upset.
"...Teacher…"
Emilia was in the same situation as Taiju and Yuzuriha in the past. But there was one difference, she wasn't conscious when she was frozen, but she thought what if I was? Would I have gone insane? Would I still be the same as I was when I got unfrozen? All of these thoughts had made Emilia very grateful that she was asleep and wasn't conscious.
"I… I don't know… what to think… I don't think I would still be sane if I was conscious when I was frozen."
While many in the theatre couldn't relate to Taiju but they still gave their respects in silence. Many of them doubted that they could still be sane if they were ever to be turned into a statue for an unknown amount of time, unable to do anything but think to themselves.
After a bit of sitting in silence, it then switched to the top of the tree and Taiju standing up. It then showed him with a determined glint in his eyes.
Taiju: I'm going to save you, Yuzuriha. I have no idea how yet, but I will-
Before Taiju could finish talking he noticed carvings in the wood.
Taiju: "Follow the river downstream, big oaf."
Everyone was shocked and surprised to see that someone else was alive. They were wondering who could have written it. Out of everyone in the theatre, Anastasia was the one most shocked. The writing in the tree was the exact same as Hoshin language. This had confirmed that Subaru could not only read but also translate Hoshin language.
"Someone else has also broken out of the stone?!" Otto was shocked that someone else besides Taiju had broken free of the stone. At first, he had thought who it was but then quickly realized there was only one person that had called Taiju "big oaf".
"Who could it be!?" yelled Julius, he would usually not yell in front of his lady and so many other people. However right now he didn't care since now he knew there was someone else that broke out of the stone, but how? He had also wondered who else had broken out of the stone.
"Yeah! Who could it be?!" Felt also yelled. She was now getting really excited and was now hooked on what was happening.
"Hmph. Of course, a gutter rat such as yourself wouldn't be able to figure out such an obvious thing." Said Priscilla in a mocking tone. She already knew who it was that had written on the text on the tree. But she too was getting a bit excited by what the screen was showing them.
"Oh shut the hell up already! If you know who it is then why don't you say who it is, you whore!" Felt was now getting really fed up with this stuck-up bitch, she just wanted to choke her so that she wouldn't even be able to talk, but if she did then that would just create unnecessary conflict.
"What did you say, gutter rat?!"
"Princess, calm down, You don't need to waste your time on her." Al reasoned while being scared that the princess would kill him for telling her to calm down.
"Hmph. Of course, it would not be befitting of a goddess such as mineself to waste my time on a disgusting rat like her. As for your question gutter rat, I don't need to tell you anything as we will see exactly who the other person is." Priscilla was still mad but didn't do anything as it would be unfitting for a perfect goddess such as herself.
"Oh yeah? And how do you know that?" Felt asked with irritation in her voice.
"Because the world turns in my favor." Priscilla answered calmly.
"Julius-kun"
"What is it lady Anastasia?"
"Did you see the writing carved into the tree?"
"Yes, I did Lady Anastasia. I wasn't able to understand it, all it looked like was chicken scratches."
"That is understandable, the reason you couldn't read it was because it was Hoshin language."
Julius was surprised that the weird carvings on the tree was Hosin language "Are you sure that is Hoshin language, Lady Anastasia?"
"Yes Julius, I am absolutely sure that is Hoshin language."
"But wouldn't that mean…"
"Yes, That would mean that Natsuki-san would be able to read and translate Hoshin language since they are from the same world."
Anastasia now more than ever wanted Subaru in her camp since he would be able to translate Hoshin language for them. He may also be able to recreate many inventions from his old world that Hoshin couldn't or didn't know of.
The screen now showed a river that spanned many hundreds of meters. Then it cut to Taiju looking up at a tree while panting.
Senku: Hehe, So you're finally awake, you big oaf.
As Senku said this Taiju suddenly jumped at him trying to hug him while he is butt naked.
Tajiu: You're alive, Senku?!
Senku: Don't hug me while you're but naked! I'll kill you!
"I KNEW IT SENKU IS ALIVE!" Screamed Otto with a huge smile on his face.
"Hmmm, I wooooonder what will happen neeeeeext." Roswaal mused while still smiling.
Many in the theatre had different reactions to what they saw. Some got excited seeing Senku alive while others laughed at Taiju trying to hug Senku while he was butt naked. Some of the girls blushed when they saw a Taiju with his ass out.
"Senku is alive! Ah, wait Taiju is showing his butt!" Right as Petra said this Frederica covered Petra's eyes with her hands while also looking away.
The boys (Al, Otto, Garfiel, Ricardo, Julius, Felix, and Reinhard either laughed their ass off or chuckled a bit seeing Taiju trying to hug Senku while he was completely naked and Senku kicking Taiju in disgust.
Senku: Today is October 5th, 5738. You slept in for a hell of a long time. I've been up and working for over six months already.
Taiju: So it's been…
Senku: A good 3,700 years.
The cast was shocked by how much time had gone by. They knew it had been a very long time but not this much. Maybe a couple several hundred years, but not 3,700 years. Many were wondering how he knew how much time had passed.
"What the hell?! What do you mean it's been 3,700 years since they first turned to stone!" Al was now even more grateful that he had been transported to another world. He did NOT want to be stuck as a statue for 3,700 years.
"3,700 years?! How did they not go insane?! And how does Senku know that 3,700 years have passed, I suppose?!" Beatrice was dumbfounded by how much time had passed. Her 400 years of isolation is nothing compared to this. She also wanted to know exactly how Senku knew which year and day it was, it didn't seem like he had a metia that could tell time on him, so how does he know?
"3,700 years…" Emilia was flabbergasted by how much time had passed. Her being frozen for over 100 years seems like nothing in comparison to the amount of time Senku and Taiju had been stuck as stone statues. She didn't care how Senku knew how much time had passed but cared more about how Senku and Taiju hadn't gone insane.
"But how does he know that it has been 3,700 years since that day?!" Otto couldn't figure out how Senku knew what year and day it was. He also wanted to know what this "October" was but he could ask Beatrice if she knew what that meant.
"Y'h! I don' think he has a device or metia th't can tell the time!" Garfiel also wanted to know how Senku knew what time and day it was.
Wilhelm was also very shocked since he now knew that Taiju had waited over 3,700 years just to tell Yuzuriha that he loves her just made the old man respect the young lad even more.
"3,700… To confess to the girl he loves… truly admirable." Wilhelm admired Taiju for his dedication to confess his love to Yuzuriha for thousands of years.
"Maybe Senku wiiiiiiiill explain hoooooooow he knows that 3,700 haaaaaaave passed?" Roswaal was very intrigued by how Senku knew how much time had passed.
"Yeah hopefully, I really want to know, must be something crazy." Mused Ricardo.
Taiju: How can you tell exactly what day it is?
"Yeah, we wanna know!" yelled Felt, everyone in the theatre had also thought the same thing as her.
Senku: I just counted. How else would I know?
"Holy shit! He counted?! Are you seriously saying he counted every single second and then calculated how many minutes, hours, days, months, and years had gone by?! Shit that's fucking insane!" Al had thought that Senku was a damn monster for not only counting every single second but also didn't go insane from all the counting and isolation.
"That's crazy nyah! He counted for over 3,700 years nonstop?! How did he not go insane nyah!" Felix now questioned if Senku was even human. Counting for 3,700 years and not losing count was insane but not going insane for all that time? Now that was something else.
"But how did he survive without eating or drinking? Humans cannot live for that long without food or water. No, a human shouldn't be able to live for over 200 years let alone 3,700 years! So why does he look the exact same as he did 3,700 years ago!" Tivey had always been a smart person so this didn't make any sense to him. Living for 3,700 years without food or water is impossible, so how? How are they still alive and healthy? This didn't make any sense to the young demihuman.
"It most likely was the doing of the stone that encased their bodies. Maybe it had completely stopped the body in time making it unable to age or need food." To Crusch this all seemed absurd, her mind was racing to try and come up with a theory on how they had lived for that long without seeming to age a single second. All she could come up with was that it was the stones doing and that it stopped the body in time making it unable to grow or age.
"But what I don't understand is how it is able to do that, stopping time is impossible (Satella moment) but doing it without the help of magic? Impossible, was technology truly that advanced in Barusu's world to the point where they were able to stop a bodies time?"
"I highly doubt it. Before I was transported, just going up to the moon was really difficult so inventing a device or whatever that could stop time itself in any form would be impossible to make in just 18 years."
"Wait, ya can go up to th' moon?!" Garfiel never thought it was possible to go up to the moon but here Al was saying it was possible and that the humans in his captain's world had already done so.
"Yeah, though I really don't want to explain it right now so I'll maybe do it later, or if Beatrice wants to instead she could."
"Hmph. I can explain it after we have finished watching this episode, I suppose." Beatrice wanted to show off her knowledge from Subaru's world to everyone so what better way than to explain how humans flew up to the moon.
Flashback to Senku counting while still being petrified.
Senku: Four, five, six, seven, eight…
It then shows him opening one of his eyes in the darkness.
Senku: Damn, I almost lost consciousness again. I peak every 800,000 seconds or so. I guess it's like when you have diarrhea. Think and count at the same time. Use your brain in parallel. 116,427,065,530 seconds.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven…
Taiju: In that darkness? The entire time?
"Countin up to 116,427,065,530 without losing count truly is an impressive feat." Said Anastasia while she rubbed her scarf.
"So you do fall unconscious unless you are actively trying to stay awake like Senku-san and Taiju-san." Otto was relieved to hear this, knowing that not everyone was awake for 3,700 years nonstop.
Senku: Even if I could have awakened by sheer willpower, if I'd woken up naked in the winter, trying to find food would have been an instant game over. Starting in the spring is a must for survival.
"That's right if Senku had woken up in winter with no clothes he would have died quickly by just the cold, he would also have to hunt for food all alone which would be hard in the winter." Julius had thought that Senku was lucky to not have woken up in the winter.
"Yes, he truly was lucky to awaken in the spring. If he would have awoken earlier to when it was winter he would not be alive right now." Wilhelm was thankful that Senku had awoken in the spring since it was neither too cold nor too warm.
Senku: An accurate account of the time was information that I absolutely needed.
"Sooooooo that is why he counted to keeeeeeeeep track of time when he was peeeeeeetrified."
"Hearing someone sound so logical with Subaru's voice sounds reaaaaaally weird." Whenever Subaru talked he was always goofing around, so hearing somebody with a voice similar to Subaru speak normally and logically was something new to Emilia.
"Yes Subaru-kun is always very funny but at times he does need to be a bit more serious, though him being like that is part of his charm." Rem had also thought the same thing as Emilia.
"I would have never thought that someone with Barusu's pathetic voice could sound like a normal functioning human being." Ram had always thought Subaru's voice was annoying. So hearing someone like Senku speaking with the same voice but didn't sound like they were on crack was a surprise to her.
Senku: All right, we are here. Time to stop blabbering and get to work."
Taiju: Senku, did you… Did you build this from scratch?
Senku can be seen walking to his makeshift hut that's built by the side of a tree.
"He buuuuuuilt that all by hiiiiiiimself? That's quite impreeeeeessive."
"Is it really? I mean all he did was make a small hut by a tree, it's not that impressive."
"That isn't all Lady Felt, he also had to make tools, gather material while hunting for food."
Senku: I don't have enough manpower. Just producing the bare minimum to keep myself alive takes all day. In order to rebuild civilization, I need a big, muscle-bound meathead. I've been waiting for you this whole time, Taiju.
Many nodded at what Senku had said, you can be the smartest man in the world but if you don't have enough manpower then all that knowledge would be useless.
"Of course, one must have allies to achieve something like rebuilding civilization." Crusch agreed with how Senku thought, doing something as rebuilding civilization by yourself would be impossible without help.
Senku: I was ten billion percent certain that you were still alive. There's no way a guy that was so intent on confessing to Yuzuriha would give in after just a few thousand years. You aren't that weak.
Taiju: Yeah. Of course I'm not.
Scene change to Senku making a fire and Taiju chopping wood.
Taiju: I'm counting on you to do all the brainy stuff, Senku. You can count on me to do the heavy lifting!
The sparks from the flame then showed humanity's history by showing a monkey holding a tool, a human holding a spear, a samurai, and finally an astronaut.
Senku: Humanity spent two million years getting from the stone age to the modern age. We're going to sprint all the way back to the top.
Senku: I'm going to take the world back. And I'll figure out the science behind the petrification and our revival.
Taiju: I'm going to save Yuzuriha.
It then showed a rocket flying up to space leaving the earth's atmosphere.
It then went back to Senku smiling beside a fire.
Senku: The two of us high school brats are going to build a civilization out of nothing. We're going to become the Adam and Eve of this stone world. This is exhilarating.
"Damn this is getting really exciting now." Ricardo was pumped to see how Senku and Taiju were going to rebuild civilization from this "stone world".
"So we are going to see 2 million years worth of evolution in this viewing?" Both Anastasia and Otto were excited to see all the inventions and gadgets they would see. The amount of wealth and money that can be made by using ideas from a world beyond the great waterfall would be immeasurable.
"This is quite entertaining seeing these commoners trying to rebuild civilization and save humanity, I wonder how this will end" Priscilla was entertained seeing both Taiju and Senku wanting and trying to save humanity.
Everyone in the theatre wanted to see how the adventure of Senku and Taiju would end. Were they going to succeed or fail? There were also some that wrote down everything they saw like the knights and merchants in the room, even Roswaal wrote down what he saw so that he could give that information to Echidna in the future.
Scene cuts to Taiju running towards Senku carrying all the food he could find.
Senku: At least it's a huge haul, I guess. What kind of cheat gave you that stamina?
Taiju just closed his eyes and smiled proudly at what Senku said.
"Th't sounds somethin the cap'n would say." Garfiel let out a smile laugh as he thought about his captain.
"Yeah, Natsuki-san would say something like that." Otto chuckled a bit seeing that Senku and Subaru had something else in common other than their voice.
"Beakoooooo, is it normal to say people are a "cheat" if they are amazing in Subaru's world?" Emilia asked Beatrice curiously.
"Only Betty's Subaru can call me that hmph! As much as I don't want to admit it, I don't know if it is normal to call people a cheat if they are strong or abnormal in my contractor's world, I suppose."
As Taiju opened his eyes he saw Senku sorting away mushrooms that are poisonous and edible.
Senku: Amanita virosa: poisonous. Buna shimeji: edible. Amanita muscaria: poisonous. You can' tell this one's bad? It looks like it's right out of Mario.
"What's a "Mario"?"
"Mario is a popular video game franchise from my contractor's world, I suppose."
Senku: Next. Mugwort: edible. Monkshood. Who is there to kill, you moron?
Many in the cast thought that it was impressive that Senku could tell which were poisonous and edible by just looking at them.
Scene change to Taiju and Senku eating roasted mushrooms on a stick.
Taiju: Yum! How did you season this?
Senku: It's just salt that I pulled from seawater. Humans can enjoy just about anything with a pinch of salt. It's important for pickling, too. You could say it's primitive man's greatest discovery.
Taiju: Thanks, Senku, for everything! I'm going to make up for the thinking I can't do with brute force and diligence!
Taiju then gets up and starts yelling running to get more food.
Taiju: Time to scavenge the other side!
The scene then changes to Taiju grabbing some grapes
Taiju: Hey, they're wild. Are these edible? Thinking won't help. Eating some will!
As Taiju puts the grapes in his mouth he makes a funny face showing that they were sour.
Many in the cast chuckled at Taiju or started laughing like Al, Ricardo, Garfiel, and some of the younger ones.
"Hahaha, he's a funny guy!" Ricardo loved how Taiju acted, he was a boneheaded guy but also funny.
"I like 'im! He's like cap'n an' me." Garfiel liked Taiju because he was a bit like his captain and himself, strong and funny.
"Yeah, he acts like Natsuki-san." Otto smiled seeing Taiju and his antics, it reminded him of his brother/friend.
It then switched to Taiju looking at a stone statue sitting by a tree.
Taiju: I've seen him on TV before. He's the "strongest primate high-schooler," Shishio Tsukasa. It happened to him, too?
"The strongest primate high-schooler, Shishio Tsukasa? I wonder how strong he is." Reinhard was curious about the "strongest" in Subaru's world. Since he was the strongest in his world, he wondered how strong the "strongest" in another world was.
"Did Subaru ever tell you who Tsukasa is Beako? Emilia was curious if Subaru had told Beatrice about Tsukasa.
"I told you only Betty's Subaru can call me that! But yes Subaru has told me about this "Tsukasa", He said that Tsukasa was able to knock people unconscious and break bones with a single punch, I suppose."
"Holy shit, that's impressive and even more so since we don't have magic in our world to make us stronger." Al was amazed to hear that a high schooler was able to knock people unconscious and break bones with a single punch without the use of magic.
"Man I really wan' to fight 'im now." Garfiel knew that wouldn't be possible but still wanted to fight this "Tsukasa" and see how strong he was compared to him.
"I wonder if they will revive him in the future." Julius was also curious about Tsukasa and wanted to know what type of person he was.
"They most likely will nyah." Felix didn't care about Tsukasa that much and just wanted to see Senku make medicines that he could copy and use himself. He had wondered if they had a cure for the disease that plagued the royal family years ago.
"I guess weeeeee will just haaaaaave to wait and seeeeee."
The screen then cuts to the same cave that Taiju was in when he was still petrified and him going in it.
Taiju: Look! Someone else besides me and Senku has survived! Who left this here?!
Senku: I did, idiot.
Taiju: It was you?! Are we the only humans left in the world?
Senku: We'll get more humans. That's a top priority. What future does humanity have with just us two dudes trudging on?
Taiju: That's true.
"Yeah, humanity doesn't have a future with just two dudes around." Laughed Al.
"Yes, they wouldn't be able to reproduce with just men." Julius closed his eyes and nodded.
"Haha, yeah it's not like they can have sex and get pregnant." Giggled Felt.
"Lady felt what did I say about language…" Sighed Reinhard hearing her Lady speak like this.
"They can't have fucking sex with just two dudes around right?" Felt just continued with her indecent way of talking.
"Such vulgar language, what else would mineself expect from a gutter rat like you." Priscilla said while putting her fan up to her face.
Emilia, Petra, and Rem were blushing after hearing what Felt had said especially, Rem. She started imagining her and Subaru doing some weird ass shit together that I can't be bothered to explain.
Emilia and Petra smiled as they were imagining themselves pregnant in the future with Subaru's child, they were also blushing beet red.
Senku: Besides, why exactly were we freed from our petrification after 3,700 years?
Taiju: The rock rotted?
Senku: Yeah. Supposing this weird mineral was corroded, isn't it suspicious that the two of us got out at almost the same time? Only six months apart after 3,700 years. There's a logical explanation behind every coincidence.
"That is strange, it can't be just a coincidence that Taiju and Senku got out at almost the same time." Crusch was currently trying to come up with an answer as to how they broke free from the stone at almost the same time.
"Maybe it had something to do with that strange liquid from before?" Anastasia remembered the strange liquid that was dripping on Taiju when he broke free. She theorized that it was that liquid from before that had been dripping on Taiju's face and that it was that strange liquid that freed him.
"Maybe Senku will explain it?" Emilia wasn't a smart person so she just waited for Senku to explain.
Senku: You and I both washed up near this cave. Look at that stuff dripping from up there. It's the miracle liquid made from bat guano… Nitric acid.
"So it was that strange fluid." Anastasia was proud of herself for knowing that it had something to do with that strange liquid called "nitric acid".
"Nitric acid? Do you know what that is Beatrice-sama?" Otto was curious what nitric acid was so he asked the little girl that had knowledge from the same world Senku was from.
"Hmph, I don't want to waste time explaining what nitric acid is, ask someone else." Beatrice didn't want to answer because she also didn't know what nitric acid was since Subaru hadn't told her about it.
"To put it simply nitric acid is like corrosive water." Al didn't remember exactly how nitric acid worked but he at least remembered that it was a corrosive liquid.
Taiju: What?! Nitric acid?! What's that?!
Senku: I knew you would say that, you big oaf. I'm not gonna waste time even explaining the gist of it.
The screen cuts to Senku pouting nitric acid on a petrified bird.
Taiju: So you're saying this something-or-other acid corrodes the stone and revives them?
Senku: If only it were so simple.
Senku had just finished pouring the last of the nitric acid on the bird and was staring at the bird statue in suspense. Only for nothing to happen.
"Why didn't the nitric acid work?" Petra had thought that the bird would be free after Senku poured nitric acid on it, but nothing happened.
"Maybe there was another factor to it? Or maybe Senku was just wrong?" Frederica didn't understand most of what was being shown on the screen, but she knew that you can't always be right and that applied to Senku as well."
Senku: I've been trying like a madman, using every method available to me.
As they both went into the small hut Senku had built Taiju noticed several stone birds on the shelves.
Senku: So many times… So many dozens of times… This is all in the realm of fantasy. Is it mineral? Is it cellular? I don't even have the equipment to find out anymore.
Taiju: So there are things in this world that even science can't explain?
Senku: Here we go again with that tired cliché. That's why you hypothesize and experiment over and over. Science is a slow process. If only I had liquor, though...
"Why would he need liquor? Senku doesn't really seem like the type to drink all that much." Otto was confused on why Senku wanted liquor.
"He may need it for an experiment involving the nitric acid." Ram voiced her thoughts after being quiet for a long time.
"Yeeeeeees that is most liiiiiiikely why he neeeeeeds liquor good work Raaaaaaam." Ram blushed hearing her master praising her.
Senku: With the alcohol in liquor, I could combine the nitric acid and ethanol to make nital. It's literally an industrial-strength etching agent.
Taiju: What did you just say, Senku?
Senku: Huh? I said nital. It gets into the ferrite grain boundary and-
Taiju: Not that! I don't understand the brainy stuff. But "If only I had liquor"?
Taiju then pulls out grapes from out of nowhere that he picked before.
Taiju: Couldn't we make wine out of grapes?
Senku: Not bad, you big oaf!
"I see, so that is why Senku-dono needs liquor, he is going to combine the nitric acid with "ethanol" to make "nital".
"So that is why he needs it. Sir Al do you know what nital is?"
"Sorry bro, but I don't remember what nital is." Otto just nodded at Al's answer.
Senku is now shown picking grapes and crushing them while Taiju is stomping on tons of them.
Senku: Okay, you can do all the grunt work from now on. That makes more sense.
Scene cuts to Taiju pouring the wine into a bucket and him mixing it.
Senku: Making wine couldn't be easier. Crush grapes and raisins and stuff, put it in a container, and just mix it every day until it's done. Though it would be a crime to make liquor without a license back in the day.
"Yeah but that was 3,700 years ago."
"It's still kind of hard to believe that 3,700 years have passed in that world."
"Y'h 3,700 s'a real fuckin lon' time."
Senku: Three weeks… That should do it.
Taiju: You know, Senku, this would count as underage drinking, though.
Senku: Not a problem. We're well over 3,700 years old.
Taiju: Oh, You're right!
Taiju laughs loudly and starts drinking the wine only to spit it out right after.
Senku: It's better than I thought it'd be. Though it's about ten billion times worse than what's on the market.
Taiju: I never knew it was so easy to make with just grapes.
"Wouldn't Senku-san and Taiju-san be older than all of combined?"
"Yes, physically they are still young however mentally they are far older than any of us."
"Hey Rein, maybe we should make some of our own wine someday."
"Of course, Felt-sama as long as you don't drink any of it."
"Hey, Otto-bro do ya wanna try an' make som' wine after we get outta 'ere?"
"No Garf, you are not going to make wine with Otto-san you are still too young."
"Awww, come on sis I'll try t'not drink 'ny of it."
"Sorry Garf, but you got to listen to your sister. Guess I'll ask Natsuki-san if he wants to make wine with me instead."
Senku: One step at a time. Things are about to get a little more tedious, though. Distilling Wine for Dummies, starting with brandy.
Taiju: Distilling, huh? No idea what that means!
Senku: I knew you'd say that. Heat it, cool it, drip it. That concentrates the alcohol.
The screen was now showing a massive clay pot with a fire beneath it and Taiju standing beside it.
Senku: Don't worry. People in the Mesopotamian Civilization were doing it in 3000 B.C. using clay pots. There's nothing you can't do if you try. This is exhilarating.
However right as Senku finished talking a small crack formed on the clay pot making the wine spill out and the entire pot breaking.
"Guess mistakes will always happen no matter how smart you are." Al mused.
"And now they have to restart the entire process again, I suppose." Beatrice sighed as she said this.
It then cuts to a montage where Senku forms the clay pot, Them eating, Taiju cutting wood, and gathering food for an unknown amount of time. Then it switches to Senku in his hut checking his clay mugs and waiting for the alcohol to drip into a clay bucket.
"They must have been doing this for a long time now."
"Seems so Crusch-sama nyah."
Taiju can be seen walking away from the middle of a frozen pond and brushing away the snow on top of Yuzuriha's stone body whilst noticing his beard. Then it cuts to Senku finding two clams under the snow and using them to Taiju's beard. After Senku does this, Taiju's lower part of his face is completely red and Senku laughing at him.
"Taiju looks good in a beard, wonder why he didn't keep it."
"Maybe he didn't like the beard?"
"Yeah probably."
After some time when it's spring, Senku and Taiju are seen pouring the nital on two stone birds. Senku then walks away whilst kicking a clay pot annoyed that it didn't work but then turns around to see a stone feather being freed.
The scene cuts to them outside and Senku putting a stone bird on the ground while pouring the nital on it.
Senku: Let me teach you, big oaf… It's not that there are things that science can't explain.
As Senku says this a small crack appears on the birds eye
Senku: You look for the rules behind those things.
*Another Crack*
Senku: Science is just the name for the steady, pain-in-the-ass effort that goes into it.
The birds eye is then freed and cracks start to form over its entire body and finally freeing the bird. It then flies in a circle above Senku and Taiju. While it is doing this Taiju starts yelling like a madman.
Senku: One year since I started experimenting… It didn't take as long as I thought. It's a slow but steady effort. I'm going to beat fantasy with science.

The birdy is free!" Happily yelled Petra
"They did it… They can now finally save humanity with the "miracle fluid" Otto smiled knowing that Senku and Taiju can now finally start saving humanity.
"Yes, it seems so, but there must be some sort of a hindrance to them in the future." Crusch knew that nothing can go perfectly no matter who you are, so an obstacle to their plans is bound to show up in the future.
"They are nooooooow going to finaaaaally begin with saaaaaaaving everybody." Roswaal was quite excited for what was going to happen next, he also liked Senku, he was intelligent, logical, and had a clear goal in mind.
"Still gonna be hard since it took them an entire year to save a single bird." Al was wondering how they would save all 7+ billion people on earth since it took them a year to free a single bird. So them saving everyone in their lifetime seemed impossible.
"This is really fun to watch. Watching Senku and Taiju on their journey to save all of mankind is very thrilling to see!" Otto was having fun watching since it put his mind off of Subaru's suffering.
"I must admit this is very entertaining, I wonder how these two peasants will continue with their journey." Priscilla saw both Taiju and Senku as very entertaining, one was a dumb fool who only had his brute force while the other was an intelligent and logical person. Both complimented and completed each other.
*Start op 1 "Good morning world*
"Good morning, world"
"Good morning, world! x2"
"So this show also has a song like in Subaru-sama's journey?"
"It seems so Frederica-san."
Senku is seen walking forward while slightly looking down.
"How far have I walked? Only the pain in my feet"
"Gives me a sense of the distance"
Then it shows a young Senku, high school Yuruziha, Senku and looking up into the sky while Taiju is yelling into the heavens
"The hope for a beautiful view at the end of a long night Is what keeps me going today"
After that, it shows Senku with his eyes closed and metal and machines coming out from his back and around him.
"The depths of the caves, the ends of the deep blue sky"
It then shows Tsukasa with a determined face menacingly walking through a forest with ominous red light surrounding him. And after that Gen smiling with the night sky behind him.
"I'll go the full distance, there are no limits To the ends of the world"
The screen is now showing *3 things that I don't know the names of* and a drop of the miracle fluid dropping into a sea of the same fluid.
Screen switches to a flag, Kohaku doing flips, Kinro and Ginro with their spears, and finally Chrome holding two lab glassware while Senku is looking at him with a grin on his face.
"Good morning, world! X2 Rid away the impossibility of the dark."
Then it cuts to a coca-cola glass bottle, antibiotics, Kaseki blowing air, Kohaku with her eyes closed, Ruri holding her hands together, and Suika in a sunflower field.
"An odyssey turning mythology into the everyday"
Taiju can then be seen leaning closer to Yuzuriha's stone body while staring at her. After that Senku and Chrome behind each other with many buildings and an airplane in the background. And finally a lightbulb and a rock cracking and feathers bursting out.
"In this painstaking journey, turning over every stone"
It then ends with Senku staring up at the moon and looking back at the screen while smiling.
"We'll expand our world"
*Dr. Stone op 1 "Good morning world" end.*
After the cast had finished watching the opening they started talking to each other about the song.
"Who were all of those other people? Rem asked aloud.
"They are most likely people from future episodes." Otto answered.
"Did ya see th' guy that walked lik' a badass? Is he th' Tsukasa guy?'' Garfiel asked while thinking how cool Tsukasa looked.
"Maybe, his hair was very similar to the stone statue Taiju saw at the tree." Crusch didn't like the look in the man's eyes, they looked… ominous.
"Is it just me or did he seem kinda evil?" Al voiced his thoughts aloud.
"I wouldn't say he looked evil, he just seemed determined." Julius thought Tsukasa looked more determined rather than evil.
"I wonder who the brown haired boy is." Anastasia noticed that the song put a lot of emphasis on the boy being with Senku. Maybe he was a student or another scientist?
"He did seeeeeem important to haaaaaaaaave him by Senku's side throughout the soooooong."
"The lyrics were also very beautiful." Emilia liked the song because of the lyrics, about how there are no limits to what you can do, and that you should get rid of the darkness of impossibility.
"Yes, they truly were beautiful." Wilhelm nodded at Emilia's statement. Going the full distance to the ends of the world just for the chance to see a beautiful view at the end. Never giving up and making the impossible into reality.
Did you all like the first episode?
Many in the cast were surprised to hear the Warden again but nodded to the Warden's question.
"Warden-sama are we going to see the rest of this show or are we going to watch Barusu's journey again?"
Yeah about that… you won't be watching Subaru's journey for a long time. Even after we have finished you will still not watch his journey.
Many in the cast wondered why they wouldn't be watching Subaru's journey in the near future.
"Why is that Warden-sama? And when we do finally finish what will we watch after?" Crusch was conflicted. On one hand she wanted to continue watching since she wanted to learn more about science and didn't want to see Subaru suffer. But at the same time she was also very curious about the rest of Subaru's life and what happened.
Yeah something about a "rewrite" but after we do eventually finish Dr. Stone we will watch something else in Subaru's world before the petrification happened. Maybe a fighting and martial arts show?
"What do you mean by a "rewrite", I suppose?" Beatrice was now curious and wanted to know what the Warden meant by "rewrite".
"Wait… Did ya say fightin an' martial arts?!" Garfiel had stars in his eyes when he heard that they were going to watch a fighting show in his cap'ns world. He wanted to learn all the martial arts styles and techniques in his cap'ns world and add them to his fighting style.
Can't be bothered to explain what a "rewrite" is, and yes Garfiel you all will be watching a fighting and martial arts show after Dr. Stone, but that won't be for a very long time.
Many in the cast were sad that they wouldn't be watching Subaru's journey for a long time but they at least had Dr. Stone to watch in the meantime. They were also curious about the fighting show they were going to watch after Dr. Stone but decided to not ask any questions about it right now.
"Oh right, Beatrice-sama, weren't you going to explain how humans in Natsuki-sans world traveled to the moon?"
"Oh yeah I forgot about that. Can you explain Beako?"
"I told you only Betty's Subaru can call me that! Anyways it all started…" - Insert Beatrice explaining about space exploration and everyone reacting. Not gonna write it since it doesn't have anything to do with Dr. Stone.

Here it is Ep 1. I was supposed to upload this yesterday but then I got lazy and didn't. And when I was going to finally upload it, I read through it and saw that it was dogshit so I tried to fix as many things as possible. So yeah, please tell me what you liked about this chapter and what you didn't like so I can work on that.
Oh and about the martial arts anime should I have them watch it after season 1 or season 2? The anime is going to be Kengan Ashura btw, I really don't want them to react to Baki since it's not as realistic as Kengan Ashura. Or should I have them react to another anime that isn't fighting based? Well enough of that, the cast won't be reacting to another anime for a while since I got many more episodes to do.
As for the next chapter it will either be released 4-7 days from now if I don't start getting lazy. Actually, should I do a chapter every 7 days so I have more time to fix and refine the chapter or should I just quickly read through the chapter, edit it and then release it?
