We walked to the Senate building we entered Lord Mercury was there we both bowed then he asked who was my guard I said Percy Jackson Percy removed his helmet and Mercury said you couldn't have chosen better. Then he said Lord Jupiter said since you are bringing back the Praetorian Guard he wants you to recruit at least 14 more. I said ok I said Percy you will be in charge of them and to train them he agreed Mercury said that is all we left and went to my office Percy said he would recruit from the retired I said good idea. We talked and I said we need to train we he ok we left and went to the training arena we sparred and I knew he wasn't the 2 time savior of Olympus because he got lucky he was good he gave me a run for my money. We kept fighting till I said stop he stopped we both were sweating he handed me a bottle of water he summoned it was around 6 we went back to my home he summoned some food we ate he was a perfect gentleman. Then I asked how he was going to choose he said he was going to spar with those who come they have 10 min to beat me I am only going to be using 50% of my skill I said good idea. I said we have to go and make the announcement. We walked out and made the announcement the trial will be on the weekend.
Saturday
I was sitting in the stands Percy was in the middle it was almost the end of the day we only had 20 people come all sons of Mars only half were able to defeat Percy. Percy came up and said I will take all 20 of them I said that is a smart idea Percy informed them he said Monday you will give your oaths and will become Praetorian Guard they said yes sir they went out Percy handed them dress code he said keep your recites and you will be reimbursed. We went back to my house I noticed we had been doing that more I felt more connected to him then before we got in the building he willed his armor away we sat on my couch then Percy asked if I wanted to go out on a date tomorrow I squealed on the inside but I said yes we just hung out for the moment.
Next day
I was getting my Nike shoes on when I heard a knock on my door I said right on time. I open the door I saw Percy he was wearing a green polo and cargo pants and a pair of converses. He said shall we I said yes we went a local restaurant were eating talking when I heard people talking then someone said stop bothering our Consul Praetorian I said he isn't bothering me James looking right at him he walked off we kept talking we had finished eating he said see you tomorrow I said yes it was late I was on entering my home when I open the door without unlocking my door and I knew I locked my door I backed off and walked to Percy house he was a house a way I went and knocked on the door he opened up I said someone broke in he said ok he summoned his armor and Riptide he walked in then he said there is 2 people upstairs I said how he said the human body is 60% water so for someone with as much power as I have with water it is child play. He said I will deal with them he went up the stairs I heard a clash of swords then two thumps. Percy came down dragging two people I said ok we bound them with rope he asked if I wanted him to spend the night I said yes he said he would take the couch I went up and took a shower and went to bed.

I was on Olympus I was walking to the most dangerous place for me on Olympus Poseidon Palace I knocked on the door he opened the door I said can we talk he said yes he let me in. He said what do you want to talk about I said Percy he asked what are you planning I said nothing I already did it shortly after Percy defeated Kronos I knew he was a great son but he wouldn't be my son until about a month ago Sally Jackson disowned him she couldn't take the stress of him fighting anymore. He was traveling to Camp Jupiter Hestia and me we visited him at night and talked and near the end of his travel he called me mom I told him I wasn't but if he wanted I could be he agreed so I adopted and Hestia made him her Champion. He said did he want this I said yes he was happy then Poseidon said as long as Percy is happy he has earned I said he has a job at camp and I think he likes it he asked what is it her Praetorian Guard he is the first one in a long time he said she safer with him then here on Olympus. Then he asked does Zeus know I said nope and I don't care I said I think we should invite the Romans to our next meeting he said that would be an idea. We went and talked with Zeus and he said yes we had Hermes send the message. Winter Solstice

Praetorian, Centurion, Praetors and Consul were invited to Olympus Mercury flashed us there the Praetorian are in full armor we were outside the Throne room doors they opened. We walked in Zeus saw us and said the New Praetorian Guard. Ares said they look like professionals Athena said they are isn't that right commander I said I trained them to be the best. Ares said who are you I said I am one of the few people who have beaten you in a fight he said you I removed my helmet Athena said they are well trained. Zeus said thank you for coming I know many of you are training for war but we wanted you to see what you're fighting for. Zeus said is there any new we need to be informed Hera stood up and said have a demigod son Zeus said who is his father she says Poseidon he said what do you mean she said I adopted Percy Jackson Zeus said ok she said you are alright he said I have been unfaithful and you deserve your own children. Then Hestia said I have also made Percy my Champion he said ok then I asked Lord Zeus may I ask why you are being so kind and understanding he said you have fought hard and long in 2 wars and sacrificed a lot for us and you are still helping us. There was a flash behind us I saw Lady Rhea I caught her she was bleeding I asked what happen Lady Rhea she said Erebus and Nyx are rising they want Olympus to burn. Zeus said how long she said 5 years before open war. Zeus said ok we will prepare build walls around the camps and increase their training I said Lord Zeus may I ask for Olympian steel armor for my Praetorian but white instead of black to signify rank and who we are. Zeus said that is a great idea and it will be done he said Praetorian you will go to Hephaestus palace so he can measure you and start your armor Hephaestus said it will take 3 days for it to be ready I will also make you shield matching Jackson and spears I said thank you milord he said you will be an elite unit you need elite equipment. Zeus said anything else there was nothing he said meeting dismissed Hermes flashed us back to New Rome Reyna went and found the head of Engineering troops and had him start plans for a wall with defenses on it I went to the arena to train.

I got back from talking with Benjamin he said he would get on it I was heading to my house I had a long day tomorrow I stopped at Percy house but he wasn't there I went to my house and he wasn't there. I walked and found Gwen I asked if she knew where Percy was she said no we were walking by the training arena when we heard the clash of sword I checked the time it was the off hour for someone to be training because all the Cohorts used this time to clean their barracks. We walked in and saw Percy he was going up against 200 bots he was just slaughtering them I have seen his men fight but they only did this many as a group. I went and stop the training when the bots stop he turned I saw the raging fire in his eyes it wasn't dying down I said Gwen back away slowly. Then the fire disappeared I said Percy follow me he did we went to my house and had him sit down on my couch then I asked what is wrong? He ask do I know the toll being on the front line I said no he said I lost my friends people I consider family. Then he said I wasn't strong enough so I need to train I didn't get the chance in the last war and barely in the war before that I said you don't have to bare all of this weight. We talked for a while I asked him if he wanted to stay the night he said yes he took the couch I went to my room I felt something was missing I went down and saw Percy sleeping he was in the sitting position I snuggle up next to him with my head on his shoulder I felt happy and I went to sleep.
