Mondo Carotene!

Summary:
Rockna deals with Mondo's cheating with magic carrots…by allowing him to cheat on her with Luke.
Rockna's plan backfired. It was an unorthodox plan, she'll grant you that, but she hadn't imagined it taking such a radical, unanticipated swerve.
The goal was straightforward: Get Mondo and Luke to stop arguing.
Her new problem? Arguing wasn't the problem anymore.
Lovestar couldn't finish all the carrots from Mondo's summoning mishap all by herself. Rockna reasoned since Mondo made the mess, he might as well fix it with Luke's help!
Perhaps, in being forced to work together, they'd finally iron out their differences.
Thus, carrot by carrot, they chomped down the carrots Mondo had inadvertently willed out of the sky.
What Rockna hadn't planned for was the carrots containing magic themselves. Lovestar's species was clearly immune, but on humans, Rockna observed fast-acting effects. Specifically, these were carrots that charmed you into falling in love with the next person you saw once eaten.
And because Mondo and Luke were close up at the time, who did they have to fall in love with but each other?
When Rockna calmed her divine rage to think about it, it wasn't the end of Mon World. This way, she knew her lying, cheating boyfriend wasn't off making eyes at every princess, elf, and elf princess! Moreover, Mondo and Luke weren't actually "in love!" They couldn't stand to be in the same realm as one another!
If Rockna let the magic run its course naturally, the carotene-high love zombies would break out of their stupor on their own. Until then, she'd just wait and be entertained by Mondo whispering French to Luke and Luke sighing back in Spanish to Mondo.
