I was pissed Markus was trying to get the guard disband he has been trying for several days but he had very little support. I said we will not be getting rid of the Guard they have served with distention during the war. I said the matter is close then I said we need to upgrade the housing for Fauns and Nymphs in New Rome we are known as being the best engineers so let us show our greek brethren how we help our fellow defenders. Elliot said I agree so did Harrison and majority of the military and civilian senators the legacies senators were against them but they don't like me. I have helped supported some of their bills it was close to 6 pm I said I move that we close this meeting I was seconded by another I said we are dismissed we comeback once we return to New Rome. 4 of my guard formed up around me we walked out to our camp I am still recovering from the war we arrived I dismissed my guard and sat down in a reclining camp chair and fell asleep.

Pov Reyna

I walked into our tent I saw Percy asleep in his chair asleep I went over and woke him up and said go to bed he wasn't waking up he was still alive I grabbed a spare blanket then someone walked in it was Lord Jupiter I went bow he said you don't have to my daughter I asked how may I be of a help he said I just wanted to see one of my daughters how is my future son in law doing I said he has gotten most of the senate on his side also the Legion backs him he said he is doing well then I said yes even Octavian has backed him I don't know how but he did Jupiter said you really don't want to know I said I do Jupiter said he knows all of Octavian's secrets so they made a deal Octavian would help Percy when asked and will not use his position to attack loyal citizens and he agreed right away. I asked why did you adopt me he smiled and said you were loyal to Rome and Olympus and I wanted for you have no reason to doubt that we knew you were a loyal Roman I said thank you he said Venus adopted you because she wanted a daughter to capture Percy heart and you have. He said get some rest you will need it.

3 and half weeks later

We arrived back at New Rome and saw a palace fit for a king. Reyna and I walked over to it we were met by a Wood Nymph she her name is Willow she is in charge of the staff I asked how many servants do we have she said 20 along with some of the most beautiful Nereids in the world. Reyna asked us for a tour she lead us around I saw the master bedroom and a lot of other rooms I found an office with a book on the desk Reyna was with me the book was the rules, duties and rights of Caesar. I open and saw a note saying Reyna can live with you I asked Reyna if she wanted to move in she said yes I had a runner go and have Octavian summon the Gaius Crastinus. I sat down and started to read the book it was in Greek so I had no problem it was getting late I was getting tired and just rested my eyes.

3 hour later

Pov Reyna

I walked into the office and found Percy sound asleep I walked over and woke him up he said what time I said 1 am come with me he followed me I had him change his clothes then he laid down to sleep I followed hi example but I laid my head on his chest.

Next day

I was at my office looking at some paperwork when Spencer walked in he said I have a gentlemen who wishes to speak with you and Caesar I said show him in I will hear him first then we will go and see Percy. When he returned a 7-foot-tall man walked in he looked like Linemen I asked who are you he said his name is Ajax I asked how may I assist you he said he is a former Germanic Praetorian Guard I asked who did you protect he said the first Emperor. I asked why did you return to us he said your Caesar is a better leader then any we have served I have 20 with me and another 30 on the way I said let us go and see Percy we walked to his public office it was on Temple Hill at the bottom he was dealing with finance problems he was thinking of using the fauns as scout for when the army marches and to help demigod get to the Wolf House I walked in he said hello darling I said we have a good problem he asked you must be a former Germanic Praetorian Guard Ajax said what gave it away he said I got a message from my uncle telling me about you and said I should take you up on your offer. Percy asked how many are there Ajax said 50 of us we are the best we slipped out and killed some monster bands on our way here. Percy said you will join my current Guard of men they are at 40 strong sons of Mars, Bellona and Apollo he said you are smarter then most. Then a Lar appeared a Roman Legionary he looked like Percy but he was in Republic armor Percy asked him what he think the Lar said Julius used them they are loyal to their boss. Percy said ok then you are hired and so are your men 8 of your men will start now 4 for me and 4 for Reyna he said what of the rest Percy said you can join your fellow guard training or resting they change out every 2 hours I want your men on the same schedule he said as you wish. Percy and I went to our meeting.

6 years later

I was walking into Percy Public office I went up to Kyle and said you are to clear his schedule for the next 2 days he said the Boss will not be happy I said he will be with me do you think there is any way he will come out of this mad he said no. I went into his office and took his chair and waited he came in he was haggard he asked what can I do my love I said you are taking today and tomorrow off he said I am to tired to fight I said you need to change we are heading to a hotel in LA he went and packed. I went and informed Dakota and Gwen that they are in charge went and asked Octavian to help them I went back to our home Jessica meet me and said he is ready I found Percy at his desk looking over some reports I blasted the paper with fire I said no work he said ok but that was from Mars I said I will explain and ask him to send you another copy. We left heading to the close train station and got on.

We were in a Senate meeting when Edward demanding to know what was more important then a Senate meeting that neither Caesar or Consul I said they are taking a break from their jobs for a few days Erik was about to say something when Octavian said have we all not taken time for ourselves but Percy nor Reyna has in 4 years since they got married even that was just a day. So we will carry on and take care of matters. There was a flash and Lord Mars appeared we all bowed he said it has came to our attention that Caesar has been so busy dealing with you that he hasn't taken care of himself or his family so he will get Fridays off you will not bother him or his family. He left I said Lord Mars has spoken I said Caesar has left a bill this one has been ordered to pass since it deals with Legion he has ordered that Fauns will asked to act as Speculators they will be paid along with being armed and equipped with bow and sword Elliot said that is actually a smart idea they can move faster and sense monsters. I asked is there anything new I said dismissed I left Dakota said you did well I said Percy taught us to take charge. He said we need to go inspect the troops.

Next day

Pov Erik

I met with some of my friends we are going to purge the Senate so we can lead them to a better future. I knew Caesar was coming back today so we had time James was with us he was one of my oldest friends. I said we will gather resources and start preparing we will strike on July 4th .

Pov James

I went and found Caesar and Consul I asked if I could have a moment Percy said yes I said some people are going to purge Rome so they can take control Percy said that is disappointing but I have planned for that. Reyna said when will they strike I said on the 4th of July Percy said thank you would you be interested to keep an eye on them and inform us I said yes.

4th of July

I was in the Senate room with my entire guard and the Legion on maneuvers right outside the city. I stood up and said I have tried to be fair and just with everyone but when people plan to kill their fellow citizens I must act some drew daggers and attacked 4 came right at me my men came down and took care of the rest. They were put in chains and taken to lock up I said continue with the meeting. I sat down they argued pointlessly over nothing then after an hour it was dismissed I went to my private office and collapsed into my chair I was exhausted about how petty these senators acted like children. Then Reyna walked in and said those children I said how have you been dealing with them so long she said just work with them. Lupa walked in I got up and bowed she said you don't have to bow Percy I asked how may I be assistant she said I have a message from Jupiter he wants to meet with both of you when you can Reyna said Saturday I said we can't Reyna asked why I said that is our Anniversary she said good job Lupa said he is better then Zeus he hasn't learned in 8000 years I asked when is it she said tomorrow Reyna said we will meet on Saturday then we will do I asked is there anything else she said no she left I went over to my safe and opened pulling out the hide of the Chimera I got a box and had Hermes send it to Zeus with a letter. Reyna asked where do we want to go for dinner that night I said how about Oscar Wilde she said good idea she why don't you rest then look over the reports I agreed.
